He immediately demands that Richie change it which he doesn’t of course. Instead Richie puts on the full song to serenade him with until a blushing flustered Eddie has enough and kicks him out.

Scooby-Doo's first episode came out in 1969, Janet died in then 50s and Rhonda died in 1963. So imagine the group sneaking around in the last episode and someone says "this is some Scooby-Doo shit" and Rhonda and Janet don't get it. (Also 'What's New Scooby-doo' was 02 so Quinn would know that version, so imagine them all singing the version they know and Quinn starts singing a rock version, lol)

he has a couple different stim toys in his bag at all times but all the losers have some backup ones either for themselves and he can borrow them or just because they know he’ll inevitably lose one or not have one on him

his Voices are a definite stim for him but for the most part i see him as a very physical stimmer he loves to bite and chew (and that’s why it was so difficult for him to quit smoking) and he loves using his hands

he gets a butterfly knife and eddie nearly has an aneurysm but he actually picks it up very quickly and will spin it around and play with it like there isn’t a full ass blade millimeters from his fingers

✷ A WINDING RIVER ( self para ) location. mugunghwa gala, auction

one can typically find rivers hidden in the shadows where the spotlight pays him no mind. he basks in the comfort of the unseen and ignored - especially when surrounded by those of higher status and means. this year’s gala seems to be an exception, however, as rivers positions himself in the dead center of the audience where the nobles looking to bid have found themselves. rather than the scowl he usually wears, rivers face is devoid of all emotion doing  little to give anyone a peek into his most inner thoughts as he raises his bidding paddle up to join those who also desire ownership of the unclaimed mine within the forest’s depths.

rivers has never dubbed himself as someone greedy, much less selfish. it was a trait he had been taught at a young age to survive without. in an environment where no one welcomed his existence yet made sure to take as much advantage of as they could, there was little space to fight for what he wanted.

following his scandalous leave and entrance into beonhwa, there was a part of him that had believed he’d finally be able to start over. but good things never truly last and the past was something that would always haunt rivers. at least, that was something they made certain for him - as if wanting to make sure that rivers would remember he would never be welcomed no matter where he went.

this is a truth that rivers had already learned to accept a long time ago. 

however, accepting a truth doesn’t quite necessarily mean that rivers has to accept its entirety. after all, as much as some of the nobles of beonhwa have made it clear their distaste for him - rivers steadily rose in their society asserting himself as someone they could neither take advantage of nor cast out. though he lacked social grace and common etiquette, rivers provided a masterful skill that none could deny.

but that wasn’t enough. ( thought it should have been - the quiet voice in the back of his mind tells him ).

because to own one of the most coveted and unclaimed pieces of land within beonhwa… it was merely a stepping stone in the grander scheme of life for rivers.
