Ahh, thank you!! And sure, I love yapping about my AU designs (and stuff in general, LOL).

So, Cyn in the Dragon!AU is a hybrid made from Tessa's & a dragon donor one's DNA, making her the first successful hybrid between dragons and humans. She grew up essentially as a "replacement" for Tessa in the Elliott family, being treated like a doll and forced to take on the identity of "Tessa Elliott" despite wanting to be her own person so desperately. During the night of the Gala event (roughly 20 years later) this desperation has Cyn snap, having her massacre the entire ball room full of people as well as her "parents", seeing no other way out. After this she escapes the premises, not letting N or V (or the authorities) catch her and essentially living on the run. She's only acompanied by J, who was assigned to her as a sort of... "caretaker" and who had been in a relationship with Tessa before (Tessa died of a terminal tissue disease when she & J were both in their 20s).

Cyn in this AU is infected with a dormant parasite that was actually studied by humans. This parasite was called "The Absolute", as it is incredibly adaptive and fatal, essentially capable of wiping out entire planets flora and fauna by sneaking into hosts, adapting to their immune system so it wont get caught and then mutating it's hosts body until they turn into mindless zombies. Hosts are still aware, but paralyzed, and the Solver takes over to control their body - bringing it to a populated area (if it wasn't in one already) and infecting other individuals until it conquered the planet. A host dies after the Solver leaves, which leads to mass specicide on any given planet. But the Solver could never quite touch Copper-9, as the dragons (the native species) had a way too complex immune system to get infected. Their IS would always eradicate the Solver before it could adapt, essentially tricking the parasite over and over. Humans however, can be infected, though, and so with Cyn's immune system being a mix of a humans and a dragons the Solver can infect her without being killed off, but it took way longer to show symptoms for her.

When Cyn started to show symptoms a few months after escaping from the Gala massacre she slowly started to slip mentally, getting worse and worse, fighting the infection but ultimately losing, which then mutated her body into the more dragon like form you can see in the beginning of the post - where she'd been a hybrid before, she now looks like a full-blooded dragon and being a co-pilot in her own body while the Solver aims to use her to kill off the humans and dragons on Copper-9 as it cannot do so from within.

A day in the Elliott manor,

It had been some time since Tessa had awoken. Or Cyn rather, as the Solver declared her name to be. Tessa couldn’t tell how much time went by in the ruins of Earth. The clocks hadn’t been working since Tessa awakened. And ever since the Absolute Solver broke Earth to pieces, the Elliott manor didn’t have a fluent day schedule. With each day having an sporadic length, sometimes lasting hours, minutes, or seemingly forever. Even during the night, light was still reflected onto the Elliott manor’s surface, but the other pieces of Earth. Ensuring there wasn’t any end to Cyn’s playing.

Tessa couldn’t tell whether she could call the planet Earth, anymore. The Solver turned Earth into a debris field, with its minor pieces orbiting its largest piece, which contained the Elliott manor, now Cyn’s liar.

“No, ‘the stage’ is a better name,” Tessa thought, while laying on her knees, scrubbing a rug with a sponge. “For a pointless house of living dolls.”

It was quiet in the Elliott manor. Cyn usually spent her time torturing someone, though not always Tessa. Cyn also played with possessed puppets on far-off galaxies, and now she was sitting dormant in Tessa’s old room, playing her game of cat and mouse with mankind. In the meantime, Cyn always ordered Tessa around the manor, cleaning it pointlessly. 

The first thing Cyn ordered of Tessa, upon her awakening, was to clean the blood leftover from the Gala event. Which Tessa did, cleaning the room roof to floor, yet the blood mixed very well with carpets, dragging Tessa to a stalemate.

“Dammit, If she hates blood so much, why’d she flood the back woods with it?” Tessa exclaimed silently, while looking up. “I suppose this must’ve been how she thought when I was free.”

Tessa sighed, and looked to her right, where her eyes caught a portrait of her old self, with her drones, all assembled together alongside her parents. 

“Ah, when I was free…” Tessa thought out loud.

Tessa looked at J's face, and smiled, thinking back to the laughter they once sang, and how eager they seemed to help her when her parents had seemingly left her.

“It was all an act,” Tessa thought, her smile frowning, as she turned back to the blood soaked carpet. “Just a mask.”

Tessa began scrubbing the carpet with renewed vigor.

“Mother was right, none of them really cared after all,” Tessa thought, remembering the emotionless look in J’s eyes when her builder got struck down. “Took my family, my home, even my whole name. Mother wasn’t even this cruel.”

Tessa’s scrubbing slowed.

“I really was just made to be someone’s fool, wasn’t I?” Tessa thought. “First pushed around by the parents, and now by an eldritch horror.”

Tessa stopped scrubbing, before slamming her fist down on the carpet.

“What am I thinking? I am still an Elliott, no matter what Cyn says,” Tessa thought. “And Elliott’s don’t quit.”

Tess’s face grew angry.

“Some day, I will get out of here. I have to,” Tessa thought, slamming the sponge repeatedly into the stained rug. “And when I do, I’ll burn this stupid blonde wig, I’ll call myself by my real name…” 

Tessa gave one last knock on the floor.

“And I will kill every last one of those 4 traitors,” Tessa thought.

Tessa’s momentum slowed to a halt, her eyes closed in contemplation. Finally, Tessa let out a sarcastic laugh, as she begrudgingly lifted herself up, and sat up against a wall, trying to breathe, yet her own metallic body failed to draw in air. Letting out a few shallow laughs, she felt an urge to cry, yet no tiers greeted her metallic face. Finally, Tessa sighed, and slouched back.

“But how?” Tessa said quietly.

Ms. Jenson: 5'4", She/Her, Human w/drone enhancements

Ms. Jenson is the woman behind the company itself, the brains behind everything JCJenson branded. Having gone through many husbands, all meeting an unfortunate fate some way or another, she much prefers the company of her creations. That is the ones that haven't rebelled against the company.

Ms. Jenson is literally the definition of corrupt corporate gaslighting girlboss, she is ICONIC. Sure you can flirt with her, but expect being flung into the nearest vat of nanite acid by her personal disassembly drone. :3

FUN FACTS:

Lost her hand in her 20s after spilling nanite acid on it. How she found out it was so corrosive!

Her eyes are cameras, she sees EVERYTHING. She has literally connected herself up to the company's security system so she can see anything from any camera whenever.

Despite being married so many times, she doesn't have kids! Her drones are her children, married to the grind fr.

Speaks multiple languages, but Spanish is her mother tongue!

Serial Designation- K4Y-C: 7'0", She/They/It, Prototype Disassembly Drone

K4Y-C is as loyal as loyal can be. A guard dog if you taught it to drive a motorcycle. Being Ms. Jenson's personal body guard and advisor, she is the one hiding all the evidence of Ms. Jenson's crimes. All she asks in return? Be allowed to run rampant on her motorcycle and annoy everyone trying to work.

She is Ms. Jenson's FAVORITE!!!!! K4Y-C could do no wrong in her eyes, she's the perfect prototype. Unfortunately she was just a little too dangerous to release into public so they had to tone down everything for the future official models... Doesn't stop K4Y-C from getting to know everyone Ms. Jenson has to work with!!

FUN FACTS:

Was the only drone out of her original fleet to have a designation that sounded like a name (K4Y-C = Casey)!

Participates in races with her motorbike and wins every time (her bike is NOT street legal I promise you that).

Teeth are very sharp. Ms. Jenson uses them as letter openers.

Is unintentionally terrifying to new people, like honey I don't think people like being greeted with a razor sharp grin...

She has her own framed photo on Ms. Jenson's desk, she is the favourite child.

Serial Designation- K17: 4'11", She/Her, Prototype Disassembly Drone (the OG prototype)

K17 is a curious little thing. Being a test on how a drone reacts to having more animal like features and behaviours, she didn't exactly ace her test. Now stuck on Copper-9 with no communication with her parent company, she's made herself quite at home with the other weirdos like her.

K177YYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!! I traumatize her so much... K17 is just a sweetheart who's too clumsy for her own good!! She was a worker kitty she's not used to having such big clunky feet or a sharp tail :( She's also the drone who I ship with J!! they're not dating per day.... But these girls steal each others clothes just to embed each others scents into their brains XP THEYRE SO GAYYYYYY

FUN FACTS:

LOVES watermelon. I am not kidding she goes feral when she gets her paws on some watermelon. She does NOT share.

The shortest drone ever made, consequently gets confused to be a child.

Actually purrs! She loves getting pets and scratches, even affectionately headbutts you if she likes you.

Viva: 5'4", She/They, Worker drone w/ a dormant Absolute Solver

Ms. Jenson's little unintentional protege. Viva has decided her life's purpose is trying to figure out how the Solver works and its origins, all while not knowing she has it herself. She's an angsty teen who dedicates her intelligence to research... As well as fanfics no one knows she writes.

Viva is my baby girl, shes so angsty she pulled an Uzi and banished herself from the colony she lived in, except she actually went through with it. Before you ask, yes. She has written fanfics about her friends.

FUN FACTS:

Has a pet roach!! His name's Hyperdeximal (Hyperdex for short) and is basically Vivas comfort animal.

Really likes snakes!! She thinks they're adorable :3

Got robo scoliosis... Gotta wear a back brace and use crutches on bad days :(

Cannot fix her legs despite the insane amounts of healing salve slathered onto the gashes.

Has her own keycard to the Cabin Fever Labs, her parents were solver hosts so she was raised in the labs for a bit.

Serial Designation- C: 6'2", He/Him, Modified Disassembly Drone

C is certainly an interesting character, having been modified by Viva to help her in her research about the solver. He has no association with the company anymore, but that doesn't stop him from trying to fulfill quota every month.

Hes a cowboy... What else is there to say?

FUN FACTS:

Has a pet sentinel called Sally-May! She has bit Viva a lot though...

Does not know what a horse is.

Vivas personal heating pad & weighted blanket!! He will literally flop down on top of her and just pass out for the night while she works away.

Refuses to cut his hair despite everyone thinking he's a girl. He takes the term "Hair holds memories" very seriously.

Has a rivalry with K17. He still has bite marks from the last time she won a fight.

Nikki: 5'3", He/It/Any, Worker w/ an active Absolute Solver

Nikki is feral. As feral as feral can get. He is as much of a racoon as his hat once was. He wasn't always like this, he was once just your regular worker drone, but his solver must of had rabies coded into it because he certainly does act like he has rabies.

I love him he is such a dork. I have nothing to say besides he is guard dog if it was an unvaxxed street dog.

FUN FACTS:

His name's actually Nick Ashenwood, but he kinda forgot his name for a bit so he just called himself Nikki!

Twins with K17, they're the bestest of friends!

Always the first to wake up if someone has a nightmare, it's like he can smell them...

Somehow the least accident prone out of everyone. If you're gonna be dumb, you better be tough!

Cut off the weird solver tail thingy that I don't remember the name of, replaced it with a cardboard devils tail!

Crossover Idea; Murder Drones × Digimon

Based on Digimon Adventure (Season One), but instead of eight humans digidestined, it's eight drones because humanity is dead; Uzi, Lizzy, Thad, Doll, N, V, J, and Drone!Tessa arrive in the Digital World. Both the Absolute Solver and Cyn were left behind, clueless as to where both their prey and friends have gone.

Although Digimon Adventure was mentioned, I am not opposed to saying Biomerging is possible as an alternate to Mega Digivolving and Warp Digivolving with the same going for DNA Digivolving

This is what happens when a current hyperfixation colliss with a dormant hyperfixation.

9 ⧽. tell us about a wip/idea that you're excited about!

Okay, so I tend to keep my latest obsessions close, but I've become a big fan of Murder Drones lately, and I have a pretty big idea!

The Re-Solver AU

Somehow this started as an "Uzi can play the violin - somehow this changes everything" kind of idea. The idea was that giving Uzi a violin or a flute took her from "edgy, crazy kid" to "dark and mysterious artist", so she actually starts out kind of popular. Uzi is actually sick and tired of this, because she doesn't even care that much about the stupid instrument, but if dropping "doing this dangerous thing is going to inspire a new violin piece" into a conversation and letting her get away with things then so be it.

Anyways, that managed to spiral into wondering how the Absolute Solver might incorporate itself into Uzi playing an instrument, which then turned into "what if the Crucifix Patch changed the AS in Nori just enough that it becomes it's own separate branch of code" and then THAT turned into "what if the new re-vamped AS fed on creation rather than destruction" and well... you can't have more stuff being created, if the entire universe gets eaten by the Original Solver, now can you? (And music is easy to create more of).

So.... it rebrands itself as the Resolver/Resolve, and when Uzi inherits it, it becomes fiercely protective of her. It lays not-quite-dormant in her for years, often appearing in her dreams or as an imaginary friend kind of thing, but doesn't properly activate until Uzi actually meets the Disassembly Drones and the Horrors start happening. Then things really start getting different with the Resolver becoming much more active. Top priority? Keeping Uzi safe no matter the cost. Because Uzi creates things and creation keeps it fed, so it would very much like to keep that going. (Taking out Cyn and reaching the top of the food chain is just an added bonus).

I really want to write this, but I am already doing two long-fics, that I want to actually finish. Maybe some day!

I also have a few other ideas - like Uzi being a back-alley mechanic to her classmates (when they don't want their parents to know about injuries) or Uzi introducing Drone bathing to N (with ultrasound in a big pool like cleaning jewelry, but on a massive scale). Maybe some day!

Now that the murder drones full series is out, what aus of yours do you think will need revising, or added to?

I only really have one AU I now dub as Solvercest, and it will need minor revising.

What started as siblings Nori and Yeva, and their daughters Uzi and Doll, all ending up in a polyamorous relationship, will now include Cyn. Though Cyn will be the only one not related to everyone else.

Thankfully the one good thing about the finale having answered absolutely 0 of my questions, it means that I can answer them however I please. My biggest hangup was "is Yeva still alive", since Nori turned out to be alive, and if she is then what has she been up to. Guess I'll get to choose the answer to that.

I also wanted to learn more about how the solver worked, specifically what makes a dormant solver string activate. Plus the implication at the time that cyn and the solver might have been two different entities, and that potentially, excessive solver use might slowly deteriorate a drone without a patch to halt the progress.

But since neither of those are true, it won't be a factor I need to work around anymore.

The finale can stay about the same with the difference of Doll living, no NUzi confession (Doll and Uzi having been in an established relationship), and Core Yeva making an appearance.

Crack AU idea; All Active and Latent/Dormant possessors of the Absolute Solver are all connected to a Discord-like Server

The AS would just spam the entire time to piss off the rest of the group, send the most random things, GIFs and video links. Also all it talks about is world domination, being hungry and bows. It would post awkward images of Uzi it took when she didn't watch LMAO

You'd go about your day and BAM, the Solver sends you the most fucked up meme you'll ever see in your life without context. Imagine being a Solver User, thinking it's over because Uzi contained the AS, nope think again here's 20 images of a funny looking cat with a gun

Nori working on her new body? You hear her scream "shut the fuck up" from her room as the Solver sends her yet this shit:

Doll sends people russian doomer memes. Simply just that. She doesn't communicate with anyone besides Tessa, the others just get memes. Or blocked. Also she gives everyone thumbs down reactions. If you bother he she'll just respond with this image:

Tessa either shows people dog images or memes. No inbetween. Also puts heart reactions @ everyone. Everyone likes her (except the Solver, who just sends her back something vile in response because it sucks).

Murder Drones? Half-Life? More likely than you think. (MDxHL2 AU)

So I don't kill my brain trying to come up with summary to this AU. I'm just going to tell you about the characters here, note that nothing is solid yet but I am going crazy for this AU, I'll most definitely change things. So consider this a bit of a W.I.P.

A while ago I had thought, I was originally thinking about Portal/MD AUs because well funni robot go brrr. But there's about a million ways you could do that and there's likely plenty out there already.

But.. how many would realize how fitting Murder Drones is with Half-Life 2!?

I mean..

Inter-dimensional fascist alien military government that takes over worlds in order to siphon its resources and kill off all the native fauna in the process?

with all the biomechanical stuff going on, you could easily shove disassembly drones in their place!

and that's where it began.

this ended up a bit longer than expected and may still be edited many times lol.

~ Citizens ~

Any worker drone that is not part of the resistance, and is not conscripted into the Combine. Live openly in the city under the harsh rule of the Combine, disassembly drones watching their every step, scanning for even the slightest sign of disobedience.

~ The Combine ~

Disassembly drones, basically. Except for metropolice who are worker drones who choose to work for them.

They still have most of the canonical built-in weapons like claws, SMGs, blades, missiles, and B E A M. All drones converted into DDs have their memories wiped entirely. Special exceptions to this are J, V, and N, who still have their memories but they are suppressed.

Serial Designation J - puppet Leader - Role: Dr. Breen Taking orders from Cyn, she acts like a sergeant. But she isn't really designed for fighting as much, she mostly spends time in the Citadel unless something (such as a massive uprising) is threatening the Citadel and Combine control, in which she will come down and strike down anyone who opposes them in nearly an instant.

Weapons/Tools: - Disassembly Drone Stuff (Some listed weapons may be built-in) - Revolver - Grenades - Tau Cannon - Laser tripmines

Serial Designation N - Elite of Combine Air Defense He follows/leads hunter choppers or he can pilot hunter choppers. He is specifically designed for long flights and in-flight combat.

Weapons/Tools: - Disassembly Drone Stuff (Some listed weapons may be built-in) - Pulse Rifle - Can deploy manhacks

Serial Designation V - Soldier of Combine Land Defense She guards the borders of Combine territories, making sure no unwelcome creatures from the outlands get inside. Also sometimes deployed to guard places like Nova Prospekt. She is still able to fly but not for as long as N, as she's mainly designed for being able to traverse various terrain. She can also drive APCs, set up mounted guns and turrets.

Weapons/Tools: - Disassembly Drone Stuff (Some listed weapons may be built-in) - Shotgun - Crossbow - Grenades - Hoppers - Can deploy roller mines

~ The Resistance ~

Worker drones who have decided to rebel against the Combine, refusing to submit to their abuse. However, since the death of their previous leader, Nori Doorman, their movement has been dormant. As Khan decided that everyone should go into hiding in the bunker for the sake of their daughter(him and Nori's).

Yeva - Deceased Was almost just as important to the resistance as Nori, playing a large role in getting them out of the city. Unfortunately she was killed by V along with her husband not long after the uprising fell.

Weapons/Tools: - Absolute Solver powers - Revolver - Pulse Rifle - Can hack roller mines

Nori Doorman - Former Leader(dead?) - Role: Gordon Freeman? The initial starter of the resistance movement, which actually got pretty far. But all her ruckus alerted J to the scene, killing Nori and many of those by her side just before they could make their final push against the Combine. At least she's dead to everyone's knowledge..

Weapons/Tools: - Absolute Solver powers - SMG (an uzi lol) - Crowbar - S.L.A.Ms

Khan Doorman - Current Leader - Role: Eli Vance After Nori's death, he decided it was best to go into hiding with his daughter, fearing the Combine would begin hunting for them even more aggressively than they did before.

Weapons/Tools: - Wrench - Pistol - Shotgun

Uzi Doorman - Role: Alyx Vance + Gordon Freeman? Infuriated by her father’s cowardice for stalling the resistance movement, believing it nullifies everything her mother worked for. She decides to take it upon herself to finish the job her mother started, sneaking out of the bunker and eventually leading the next uprising. Can drive the airboat.

Weapons/Tools: - Crowbar (same one as Nori’s) - Railgun (The one from the show) - Alyx’s gun (Modified Pistol) - RPG (Rocket Launcher) - Gravity Gun - S.L.A.Ms - EMP Tool - Absolute Solver powers (acquired much later)

Thad - Metrocop - Role: Barney Calhoun He’s another metrocop but he’s not in on Doll’s scheme. He’s just a metrocop for spying and it’s useful to have rebel drones who can use Combine tech. But no one's seen him in a while..

Weapons/Tools: - Disassembly drone headband (A headband with the 5 small extra eyes that disassembly drones have. Unlike actual DDs tho, the headband is only wired into the head instead of welded) - Fingerless gloves with retractable blades (Wolverine hands basically, when the user makes a fist, 3 blades protrude from their knuckles) - Booster Boots (Increase user’s agility and jump height, also protect the user from fall-related injury) - Arm & Leg armor (To look more like the disassembly drones and protect those limbs as they will NOT regenerate) - Stun Baton - Pistol - SMG - Baseball Bat

~ Ambiguous Alliance ~

Who these drones are allied with or what they stand for isn't quite known.

Alice - Role: Father Grigori ??????

Doll - Double agent, Spy on the Resistance - Role: Dr. Mossman (Mitchell HDTF) Lives in the bunker with the resistance, has some kind of deal with J to provide information about inner rebel activity. It’s unknown what her bigger plan is. (Aka I don’t know yet)

Weapons/Tools: - Absolute Solver powers - Metal Pipe - Revolver

Lizzy - Triple agent, Metrocop Works with Doll, doesn’t know her entire scheme but she goes along with whatever Doll tells her anyways. Like joining the metropolice under the guise of being a spy on the Combine, but to the Combine she claims to be a spy on the resistance and giving them information to back it up. Can set up turrets and mounted guns.

Weapons/Tools: - Disassembly drone headband (A headband with the 5 small extra eyes that disassembly drones have. Eldritchs - Disassembly drones who’ve been damaged beyond what their regeneration is capable of fixing, requiring material from outside sources. Sometimes this is viable, but usually it is advised to just destroy eldritchs immediately as they will violently massacre and destroy anything that contains the material it needs, even other disassembly drones. These beings take on many forms and can create very convincing holograms of those they kill to lure prey, so one should never approach random figures in the outlands.

Note: because of this, disassembly drones have a fail-safe trigger that disables regeneration if it detects a certain amount of weight lost. (indicating severe damage that could lead to becoming eldritch.) Of course this fail-safe can fail to trigger or trigger unnecessarily(falsely detecting significant weight loss) sometimes.

Heartcrabs - The cores of disassembly drones and solver-afflicted drones that can no longer return to their bodies(likely entirely destroyed). Similar to the eldritchs, they may start looking for a new body by attacking living drones; this doesn’t work well and creates aggressive zombie-like drones. (Might be scrapped Idk)

Anti-Drone Sentinels - Quick, aggressive robotic raptors that emit bright flashes of light to boot-loop any drone who looks at it, rendering them immobile until a reboot can be done. They move in packs in the outlands, it’s rumored a few drones have learned how to tame them.

Name: Cassidy, The Rebooted

Pronouns: She/Her (Cassidy), They/Them (The Rebooted)

After tragedy struck her home planet, leaving her the sole survivor, Cassidy interfaced with the remains of a disassembly drone. Having replaced her original worker drone arms and legs with those of a male disassembler, Cassidy set out to hunt down and eliminate any traces of The Solver. But in her haste to modify herself, her sloppy methods awakened the Solver dormant in the disassembly drone's code, giving rise to The Rebooted, a unique variant of The Absolute Solver.

Now, several years later, after having stopped her hunt of The Solver and living the life she had lost within a new colony, Cassidy's learned to co-exist with The Rebooted, both in daily life and in combat. With her future goal changed to helping those taken over by The Solver's influence, Cassidy needs to make sure her time living in this new colony hasn't made her fighting skills rusty.

This should be a good test, both for her, and for The Rebooted.

I am once again requesting help from the murder drones community-

So I’m trying to make sense of episode 5. It’s mostly just small details that have me so confused as I have a grasp on the majority of it

So, starting at the beginning, Uzi mentions some program trying to delete N and Vs memories. Why does the program only just then show up? The memories were clearly shown to be there, just dormant, as V has bits and pieces of what happened and we see N start to have flashbacks in episode 2. But why? If Cyn wanted the memories gone, why just… lock them off instead of deleting them altogether in the first place? And why does the program that deletes them kick in seemingly for no reason? Uzi’s goal throughout the flashback seems to be simply finding out what happened for herself so I would say that the whole thing was instigated by Uzi and the program didn’t just start up all of a sudden, as seems implied when N says “cause of you…? Cause you’re doing all that?” If it weren’t for the fact that Uzi states “you passed out!” Which seems to imply that it wasn’t instigated by her and that V and N passed out when the program fired up to start erasing their memories.

It’s implied that the murder drones have a lessened version of the absolute solver, since they and Uzi both share the regeneration ability and Zombie Uzi bares a resemblance to the prototype murder drones, so possibly the program referred to in ep 5 is the solver? It still doesn’t explain anything above.

It seems Uzi was running a simulation of the memories to regain them. Seems a convoluted method of doing so but alright. So how much of the memories were the actual past and how much of it was Uzi’s tampering? Very obviously the events didn’t play out with V and N being saved as we see in the episode since they both fell victim to Cyn’s experiments(becoming murder drones.) but there are two things about this that confuse me. 1. Near the end of the episode we see a decapitated copy of N. My two explanations of this would be that this was simply the animators reusing models they already had to save time, or that N, since due to Uzi’s interference was seeing the events differently then how they occurred, he was seeing the fate of the ACTUAL version of his past self. Neither seem perfect explanations though, because in the same sequence Cyn says “let’s reset these memories one more time” implying she’s done it multiple times. This is impossible however within the actual events of the Gala Massecre. So is she referring to the fact that the whole massacre is a simulation and referencing how the memory reset already happened in the true past? That doesn’t make sense though because it requires Cyn in the flashback to have knowledge of that the whole flashback is a simulation.

As much as I love this show this is giving me a stroke to try and figure out, I’d really appreciate any help.
