Little self ship vent

Every time I talk about Loki being my husband to some of my friends they shut me down completely even though they know I self ship and he genuinely is my husband. It upsets me so much and I’m rewatching the avengers rn and he’s in it a ton and I was gushing about him in a server we’re all in and they reacted to it with a ‘gross’ emoji. Our partner called them on it but they just said oh it was a joke, I know they think me self shipping is stupid I know they don’t believe my relationship with Loki is and it hurts so bad. It’s making me overthink things :((

Okay I got an opinion

If you don’t like something don’t interact

This isn’t talking about like genuinely morally awful things, like trying to take people’s rights away or hurting people or anything like that that is never okay

But in terms of if someone is doing something in their own free time that you don’t have to interact with. I don’t care if it bothers you, that doesn’t give you the excuse to hate on it

I’m always gonna stand by if you don’t like something then just block or scroll

If something makes you uncomfortable but isn’t hurting anyone then just block and don’t interact

So I’m not going to lie I am kinda broke, and as we all know Loki merch doesn’t fund itself /hj /silly

But on a more serious note, I don’t have a job and am labeled as unfit to work, I am on benefits and currently waiting to hear back from housing and have been for over a year now. I couch surf between families houses and I’m very grateful to them the rent is fairly low and they have been lovely to me. Despite that I’m a bit short on money to say the least and my walking stick has broken and my wheelchair has been in a state of disrepair for a while.

(Summary my mobility aids are broken and I cannot afford to repair them)

So what this means is I could really use some extra money to get a half decent walking stick, make some repairs to my wheelchair and honestly just live my life, so

Your romantic F/o's get together to plan and throw a birthday party for you, how does it go? Do they fight over what to do or are they good teaming up and things go smoothly? What present would each give you?

Eeeeeee okay I couldn’t tell if this was for the f/o takeover or for me so I’m gonna just take it and ramble with it and if it was meant for the f/o takeover feel free to send it again and I’ll let my boys answer it <333

So Loki would 100% take charge, as much as I love them all he’s so smug about being my only husband so likes to think he’s in charge of everything. He would make sure everything was perfect and use his magic to ensure not a single thing went wrong!! He’d claim all the credit and be smug about it for agesssss, when Hobie and Shinso try to help he’d be ordering them around fussing over all the details

Hobie wouldn’t listen to Loki at all, he’d cooperate enough to make sure it went well and he’d be paying attention to the small details making sure he got my favorite snack and adding in little sentimental details, he would scoff and groan and everything Loki says but he’d listen and help out just in his own way

Shinso would work with both of them easily making sure hobies little presents didn’t interfere with Lokis set up, he’d keep the peace and set up little nap stations so that we could nap together if either of us got two tired, he’d make sure everything was accessible for me and make sure there were plenty of places to rest and hydration to make sure I was okay. He’d also regularly brainwash Loki to take a break and a nap so he didn’t worry too much about it being completely perfect

They would 100% argue about it but grudgingly agree to make sure it turns out perfect, I think they’d end up picking a little party at our place and that way they can arrange it just right, Hobie and Shinso had to talk Loki out of doing something too extravagant and Shinso and Loki had to talk Hobie out of making it a whole concert. Shinso didn’t mind where it was as long as there were nap opportunities and plenty of cats

Loki would give me some kind of jewelry, a ring a necklace or a crown of some kind. He’s that kind of person he likes people knowing I’m his and jewelry is perfect for that and he knows how much I love pretty shiny things so he’d go over the top and get me the shiniest things he could

Hobie would write me a song and play it to me privately later, he’d also get me one of his old jackets to wear and to keep since he knows how much I love them. At one of my past birthdays he scratched my name into his guitar and he let me paint on his guitar before

Shinso would get me one of those human dog beds so we can take cat naps in it together, he’d also get me something sentimental like a framed picture of all four of us and tickets to my favourite musical even though he always falls asleep during them. His favourite love language is quality time and he always gives me as much of it as he can

I rambled a bit here but I just love my boys so much <333
