Dr Smith AU Idea

What if the Master gets involved with Dr Smith. After all, they match each other’s freak, so to say. Dr. Smith is evil, but he’s that alluring blend of camp and sexy. Absolutely scrumptious.

But of course, this is the peak. It’s downhill from here. Dr. Smith devolves, slowly allowing his darkest desires to consume him. Soon, he becomes more than just camp and cute. Now, he’s casually callus in his malicious behavior. And the something else, a deep seed planted in Dr. Smith’s core. And from it grows something else.

And somehow, one day, he goes too far. And the Master realizes, this isn’t fun anymore. This is scary. No one is truly safe from Dr. Smith. Master is only saved by the madman’s affections. And as the Master realizes what Dr. Smith has become, he worries that expressing reservations would make himself the next victim.

And so, he runs to the original Doctor, preferring the madman with a conscience. The one tethered by empathy. The one who he is certain would never hurt him. Sure, the Doctor will try and fix the ailment that made him, but that’s the thing. He’ll always help the Master, and never hurt him.

Of course, the Master had better be careful. I don’t think Dr. Smith will be too happy when he realizes the sort of person his sweetheart left him for.

Dr. Smith Headcanons

He doesn't have a first name. Or if he does, it's heavily redacted to the point where even Dr. Holmes doesn't know. It makes him one of the most incognito scientist in the world. perfect for a place like the Foundation.

Acc knew Dr. Holmes before the Foundation. they were working together on smth b/c he was her advisor.

His hair is white. The only person to do so—he earned the name of gramps b/c of it. He's quite proud of it—keeps the 'World's #1 Grandpa' mug at his desk after the interns got it for him.

His research is in astrophysics and topology—he's the only person who can present his work in a coherent sense. His notes are a different story however. It became a tradition that the new cryptologists in the Foundation need to crack his journal as their first assignment.

he talks to their scientific equipment, giving them that scientific word of affirmation. it's a 180 from dr. holmes' apathy toward them. it's a rumor that there's no equipment malfunction when he works.

Found In Space - Maureen Robinson/Dr. Smith/Miranda North

A/N: Day 22 for @polyamships multiamory march.

Miranda is quiet, when she wakes. Maureen moves to stroke soft, tangled, hair from her eyes, watching her quietly before she speaks. She can see how timid the woman is, now, broken by what happened but sweetly hopeful in the way she looks around. “Welcome home Miranda.” “You saved me…. Why?” “Space… space can really mess you up.” Maureen’s voice softens, her touch gentle when Miranda stands a little too quickly, supporting her as she finds her balance. There’s silence then, Maureen’s gaze focused on the other woman, the ‘space scientist’ who is so shaken by what she’s seen it’s hard to even get her trust. “Yeah… it can.” Miranda’s sigh is soft, her smile slightly brighter at the sight of Smith lingering in the doorway, a spark in her voice. “Smith seems to get it.” “You can say that again.” Smith’s smile bursts into life, her voice warmer than usual with new people. “You’ll get used to it, us…. The life we lead.” “Already learning.” Miranda admits. “It’s nice…. Having company again. Felt like I was alone for…. Far too long.” “Know that feeling too.” Smith murmurs, smiling softly at Maureen. “Maureen… her family… they changed that. We can change that together too.” Miranda’s smile is soft, hopeful, warm. “I’d like that.” It takes a month for Miranda to find her feet with Maureen and Smith, find her balance and find her soul again, letting herself stop thinking so intensely and find joy with the people who made her feel safe, even when everything has changed.
