He didn’t respond.

He couldn’t.

(Y/n) had just walked into the room with a tray of fresh-cut fruits, her bump swaying slightly beneath a soft white cotton dress. She looked radiant, and real. Not curated, not filtered. Just here. His now.

But the past didn’t stay quiet for long.

Two days later, Magui posted a cryptic story: a mirror selfie from a dimly lit hotel bathroom.

And then the real hit dropped.

A grainy photo. Posted by an anonymous tabloid page. Two figures in the hotel bar lobby. One of them unmistakably Lando. The other, long legs, dark hair, sly smile, could only be her.

The caption read: “EXCLUSIVE: Lando’s late-night ‘catch-up’ with ex Magui sends fans into chaos. Trouble in paradise already?”

It wasn’t real.

The photo was old. From over a year ago. But Magui didn’t correct it. She didn’t deny it. In fact, she reposted it, captionless, before deleting it an hour later.

“I believe you,” she said quietly. “But she’s not going away, is she?”

“I don’t think so. Not yet.”

A silence stretched between them, heavy with unspoken worries.

Then she said, “If she wants drama, she’s not getting it from me. But if she tries to drag you into it… I’ll protect what’s mine.”

Lando looked up, genuinely startled.

“Damn,” he whispered, half a smile forming. “You’re kind of terrifying.”

“Only when I have to be.”

He pressed his forehead to her bump. “Don’t worry. I’m not stupid enough to look back.”

“But she might try harder,” she warned. “She watched you win. She saw us on every screen. She knows she lost.”

He nodded. “And now she wants a rematch.”

(Y/n) reached out, fingers threading through his curls. “Then let her fight shadows. Because we’re living in the light.”

Outside, the sea shimmered in the late afternoon glow. Inside, despite the headlines and whispers, there was still peace.

Ahhh the aroma <3

So this blue one is a secret blend, which they labeled as a medium-dark roast.

I like it! Overall, I give it a 9.2/10~

The quality of the bag itself is really good. Some bags have a weak paper-filter attachment & I've had 1 bad experience where they actually detached & the filter portion fell right into the liquid. But this one, as you can see, is able to be stretched out quite a bit & it sturdy! The filter rate is also pretty fast.

The coffee itself. .. my own problem. I added more water than I should so it tasted kind of weak to me the 1st time. I've had 2 of these by now & I suggest not filtering too many times/use a smaller cup/add smaller amount of water. You know what I mean? It needs to be more concentrated, basically. But I also prefer stronger coffee so. .. I guess it depends.

The lesser-exciting red one in terms of packaging. I don't like the colour red so naturally I'm more attracted to the blue one. However, in terms of taste, I do prefer this one a bit more. It has a more smoky taste & a longer aftertaste as well.

PS: yes, I got this from Hmart when on sale & would 100% purchase again but regular price is kind of steep =/ not sure if I like it that much to buy it at regular price. But it is good!

Also, I LOVE SHORT TRACK SPEED SKATING - something you may already know. The 2023/24 season just ended . .. now gotta wait until Oct =( it's a long time. I was very happy with the World Championship results in the ladies' categories but the mens... you gotta feel for Park Ji Won. I mean, come on! Screwed over by his teammate 3 times this season & 2 of those times during the biggest event OF the yr at the World Champs WHILE HE WAS LEADING, en route to getting gold. Ughhh.. HDH needs to be banned or something. He doesn't deserve a spot on the national team- nvm, he shouldn't even be allowed to go for trials next month -.-" But anywho, I am looking forward to Kim Gun Woo in the next season. Still trials to come but he is looking great! & also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY (Mar20 Korea time)!
