Shout out to that time a catering got canceled, and I decided that since no one else was going to eat the desserts, I would, and I filled up a to go box of 1 inch fudge squares.

Only they weren't fudge squares and after eating about 10 of them it occurred to me that the texture was wrong for fudge so I went to the freezer to see if I could find the box and it said they were cake squares.

I have celiacs disease.

okay so i've been thinking re: this post

this is just incoherent ramblings and definitely not what anyone had in mind im sorryr

the why

i think the punishment angle is the most straightforward since it's already something he does in canon, and i can't really come up with any other justification for it that would make sense for riko's character. but a punishment for what, what would be severe enough to warrant this? if jean's obvious crush on kevin wasn't. perhaps finding out about the french. or finding out it's requited?

i feel like some things would change depending on who is being punished and why.

2. the when

this is significant because if it's before kevthea it could actually uhh stop kevthea from happening at all. kevin would probably be twice as careful as a result or he'd be too traumatized to even think about another person anytime soon. and if it happens too close to the winter banquet jean might not be around or kevin might not have it in him to ask jean to distract riko. therefore he can't leave. provided they live that long??

3. the who does what to who

give jean a taste of kevin because his drooling is obnoxious, okay that makes sense as a justification, probably. except i just can't see jean going through with it. he wouldn't survive doing it and he wouldn't survive refusing so... win-win for him i guess?

unless he refuses and riko threatens kevin. would he even be able to refuse riko in the first place. maybe he'll kill himself right then and there instead idfk man.

as for kevin. uhm. he can't tell riko no. but i also don't think his mental defences would survive that. jean definitely wouldn't survive kevin going through with it. at the same time, this is probably less likely because i think riko would get off on kevin crying and stuff. you know.
