She drags her hands out of him and now the cold feeling is gone- the stake is out- clattering on the floor as it loses any purchase in his body. He didn’t think it could get worse. It could. Now he screams and he yells and it echoes through this stupid chamber room.

like this is written by someone from a different dimension. jason todd hurts mia and tim and shoots damian but apparently damian reciprocating is where we draw the line. the fundamental misunderstanding of red robin 2009, specifically the line cutting scene which was transparently a retaliation by damian to tim make a contingency plan for him. the idea that dick allowed tim to fall from (??) instead of tim landing on his feet because it wasn’t a serious attempt on his life. like tim and damians tenuous reconciliation is the throughline for like half of red robin and gates of gotham. idk man. what did u want dick to do in this situation? put damian in baby jail?
