honestly kudos to Elementary for gender swapping John Watson in what we all thought was an attempt to make johnlock palatable to the masses and then proceeding to not only make them entirely platonic but also become the ONLY modern adaptation where i actually feel like them being platonic makes complete sense

i think its hilarious that the fandom has pretty much agreed that if all the versions of holmes met each other, there'd be a MAJOR falling out. but if all the watson's met each other, it'd be a decent, civilized conversation, probably drink some brandy, smoke a cigar, tell war stories, have a jolly good time, etc. i just think the mental image is hilarious

It's been a little while since I've made a poll, so I'm going to shake off the dust with a simpler question (although choosing an answer to this one is probably anything but simple for mystery fans.)

This is mostly oriented towards live action mystery/crime TV series, I'll probably do a later poll for animated shows or anime.
