Thank you to everyone who got me to 5000 likes! Now that's crazy. I've been back in the fandom for not even a year yet.

Sending all my love and kisses to my moots, those who have shared my work, the Aaron, Em, and Spencer stans that are here with me. Y'all are so cool and appreciate you more than I can express here.

Also to those of you who are starting finals this week in college or uni here are some reminders:

Cramming really isn't a great study method.

Drink water! Your brain and body need it.

Eat food. Real food if it's an option. Snacks are okay too, but do try and get in a meal here and there.

Sleep is key. Good rest will set you up for a good day. Don't forget to set alarms if you think you're going to oversleep.

I am SO PROUD OF YOU. You are killing it. Grades don't define who you are as a person. Do the best you can.

It is Crunch time.

Classes end on Monday, and I have my first final on Wednesday. I'm not feeling terrible about them, but I definitely need to start reviewing.

I'm feeling really in touch with nature since traveling up to UVM to see the total eclipse, so that's been helping me stay grounded for sure. I watched the eclipse with two of my roommates from last year's REU! I miss them so much already :,)

Goals for this week:

Turn in missing assignments

Study for my exams

Survive my calc 3 final on Wednesday!!

That feeling when you've submitted your last essay for the semester is such a surreal one...

Tomorrow night I'll be teaching my last class of the semester (and 2023!), and I will have this lovely chili to celebrate. It has been an excellent year, but it's time for me to shift gears for a few weeks. Hopefully that will include making more food that's more complex than a salad or ploughman's lunch.

Everything for my class is due tonight at midnight. Meaning, nothing will be accepted after that. Late assignments from earlier in the semester, projects, exams, extra credit, all of it at midnight. That’s the cut off.

I have students emailing me right now, an hour and some change before, asking where the instructions are first certain assignments.

Instructions that are easily accessible if the student actually clicked the assignment link and opened it.

The thing I'm most looking forward to at the end of the semester is being able to delete the hundreds of Organic Chemistry photos off of my phone. I'm done. It's done. Thank the gods and pass the hot sauce!

Farewell, At Least for Now <3

Hieee! Hello everyone. Or should I say goodbye. Please prepare your tissues because this post marks the end of this semester. I know, I know, I’ll miss you too. But all good things must come to an end. Well, this doesn’t mean that I won’t use this blog anymore but I’m sure that I’ll be taking a break. All the good writers need their breaks sometimes :)

To sum up the semester and the course, I’d like to state my opinions about technology integration in ELT and overall reflect on what I’ve learned. Not forgetting that this is my second time taking this course, I must say I enjoyed it far more than the first time around. This time I got to be in the classroom at a reasonable hour (:D), and work with people that I could see eye-to-eye with. I also learned more about technology and how to use it for teaching/learning purposes. Even though, me and technology do not always get along well with each other, I was able to use it in a beneficial way for my assignment. I’ll definitely be using some of the assignments for my future students.

There were a lot of things I enjoyed while preparing for this course. First of all blogs, I really enjoyed writing my opinions seeing that I’m quite an opinionated person. I also really enjoyed creating a podcast. Podcasts and voice-acting were already amongst my interests and I got to further develope them. But my favourite one was definitely writing a film review with my friends. I love films and I love writing so that’s no surprise :) My least favourite was unfortunately the infographinc. Not because I didn’t like it but more because the other ones were more my cup of tea.

Anyways, this was a fun semester. Dare I say my favourite semester so far. I hope next year will be even better. We shall live to see. I hope you enjoyed my blog posts and thank you for accompanying me on my journey. This was the final stop. For now at least. I hope to see you guys on another journey. Until then, take care <3
