yknow, kit is very much so a victim of ‘we’ve had this character with no new info for so long that the fanon version is now a made up bastardized version of the actual character’ (which is very common admittedly, esp with series where no new info comes out. every fandom falls victim to this.), that it’ll be fascinating to see how cc decides to write him in twp, considering both her mindset when she first came up with him versus now, when she’s had years to potentially develop his character
