Gregory and Vanessa inventing mxes was so peak I miss it so much

Live Action AU where He Xu succeeds in saving his sister - the present as we know it is erased and life goes on but there’s a small problem - CXS was still in the past when the present changed and as a result he had nowhere to return to. So he’s stuck in his body from three years ago, and is the only one who remembers the original timeline
Step 1: Find Lu Guang and become friends with him all over again
(Step 1 is a challenge because Lu Guang is a recluse)

playing wikiless is great fun but can anyone pleeeease put together a dread delusion map with 'we don't need roads' locations. i'm starving.

dude laying in bed feels crazy
#wind howls#for the past like 22 hours i feel like ive felt every emotion on earth#right now im just sleepy though#sleepy... but im also soooo chilling#we used houdini for the first time today in class ! height fields sure are interesting... and the up to down nodes map is odd but fun !#although i definitely prefer using unreal as opposed to houdini simpy because building master materials and instances is so fun to me#yesterday the teacher showed us hue shift and my friend and i managed to build it so that the barrel we were testing our texture on-#has a switch that by default has the barrel shift through all the hues but you can turn it off to pick one specific hue#but its just one switch which automatically lets you access the specific hue you want#and this probably sounds like real baby shit to seasoned unreal users but to me it was so impressive and fun...#especially bc i managed to make it so when the switch is on it had a sub setting to choose the speed at which the hue shifts#but when its off the sub setting automatically changes to make it possible to input a specific number associated with the desired hue#which is not something my friend did ! i figured that out myself ! i am very proud of it !!!#although it may be poorly optimised... im gonna ask the teacher if theres an easier way to make the switch thatd be simpler to use#im really liking my video game preproduction class heehehe#and actually ive really been enjoying rigging as well#its a challenge ! and my god its so much to remember at once but its like. a really fun puzzle so far#although were like half a month in so my opinion may change as the assignments roll in#but so far. i like it. yay :)

Finished Season 1 rewatch!
I really am having a lot of trouble believing Season 1 was written with The Twist in mind ^^”
#link click#there are just. so many. discrepancies#especially towards the end#with things like LG appearing shocked that Emma’s death node is almost averted#My dude. you are over a month into CXS’s own death node mysteriously absent#He also doesn’t seem to be playing with answers mode on for Doudou’s case#(his reaction is CXS punching Aunt Mei is everything)#and some scenes in Season 1 are really incompatible with Bridon arc#which either means that Season 1 is a different loop from Bridon#or more retcons incoming#but also a lot of problems could have probably been solved if Bridon didn’t choose 2021 and 2019 for its dates#but also I really want to know how Loop 0 went because a lot of things in S1 don’t work if this isn’t LG’s first time experiencing them xD#personally I think Loop 0 CXS never sent the text as Emma#and thus the Red Eye murders never happened#so Qiao Ling never started learning self-defense and the Ouyang-Siwen case happened a different way#as for Doudou… still debating this one#Noodle lesbians; Earthquake; and XSS’s cases never happened in the 0 timeline#but also I wonder if in every loop after potentially this one LG tries to avoid CXS’s powers awakening#but this is a critical node that is even harder to avert than death

in a perfect world i'd have the patience to figure out a way to make the pupils all ^^ and >< but im gonna be real with you chief i'll have such limited use for that stuff that it's straight up easier to edit that onto renders than create new toggles and fuck with shaders
#soda offers you a can#+ im fairly certain that i'd have to make like a texture sheet for that stuff#and like that texture is made entirely with shaders. it works like this specifically because it's a shader#i probably could make a texture work like this as well but i'd have to figure out a way to toggle between different image sources easily#which is /probably/ doable but i just don't want to bother with that shit#especially with how horrible the node tree looks atm the setup i have to run it through the toon shader is atrocious#anyway. rigging's done shape keys left and i might tackle those tomorrow? idk?#admittedly the concept of modeling silver is tantalizing even if i have to draw more turnarounds for it hee hoo

if my body could just chill thatd be GREAT
#lymph nodes are currently pretty swollen#have been all day#i actually woke up w them swollen and went to the hospital bc while i could still breathe & swallow swelling was concerning#they said this was normal especially with strep throat#but AFTER i have been taking meds for almost 4 days now? if there was swelling shouldnt it GO DOWN?#ive also had swollen lymph nodes before. bc ive been sick and had sore throats and doctors would make note of it#but NEVER this swollen where i can constantly feel it#we'll see if theres any improvement tomorrpw#and if it goes down. at the latest ill wait and watch til wednesday if nothing changes and then go again to get it checked out#just..... ugh#i hate being sick and i hate further health complications that arise from being sick#amber's shit you can ignore
