My Jet Set Radio New Game Predictions

Here's what i think theyre going to do for the new jet set radio!

They are going to retell the plot of the first JSR and/or Future but with a new coat of paint

There are going to be purchasable DLC graffiti and music packs

the graffiti editor will be even more hostile to human life

Corn is going to die in the first ten minutes of the game

They are introducing a new member of the GGs named "Snorf", and his catchphrase is going to be "It's snorfin' time!"

Pots is finally going to have the fully humanoid body he's always wanted.

yoyo is not going to be in it, they are replacing him with Ecco the Dolphin (This has actually been Confirmed by SEGA!)

You play as a member of Poison Jam this time. you get to chill in da sewers and watch monster movies between levels ^.^

They are going to implement motion controls.

We'll finally get confirmation on which members of the GGs are and aren't furries!

@dailyoyo is going to be working on it :D everyone contgraltulate them for how many sega employees they had to slaughter to get here

Beat will lose both of his arms and get giant horrible frightening mechanical claws as replacements

there will be a sanity meter mechanic!

It will be "Fortnite 2".

There will be a chapter of the game where Beat's headphones go missing and you have to find them! During the entire chapter, there will be no music whatsoever to emphasize Beat's lack of headphones.

there is going to be a 2-hour segment that is just an artsy and inscrutable experimental depiction of yoyo goig into a dissociateive spiral

Hayashi and Onishima will both be in the game, and they're going to be making out sloppy style every time they're onscreen. They won't even function as enemies? They're just a setpiece?

There will be no rival gangs, the entire plot will entail the GGs turning on each other like rabid dogs for ill-defined and petty reasons.

to be innovative and try something different from teh rest of the series, the soundtrack is going to be bad.

Yoyo is going to perish and be consumed by a malevolent warehouse, which will merge with his consciousness.

Bis/Mew/Ryth will have a new name

There's gonna be robot doppelgangers of ALL the ggs! uh oh! theyre all going to die before they get any significant screentime though in order to punish me specifically

There is going to be a minigame where you play as an overworked ordinary Rokkaku Group employee desperately trying to balance the company budget as Gouji continues to pour more money into the Killing Teenagers fund.

New mechanic where you can escape enemies by killing them, but the character you used to do this will go into a crisis over having had to take a fellow human's life at such a young age and the traumatic effects will lower their stats. Pots is immune to this effect

yoyo will get euthanized

There will be a new area named "The Unforgiving Abyss". Grind down the spine of the thousand mile long leviathan who perished within!

Ice skating instead of rollerksating?

You won't be able to play it without pirating it to be truer to the spirit of the game

The moral of the story will be that the real radio was the jet we set along the way.

So, firstly, the thing written for that prompt by @wyvernsgale:

Look, on some level, Tim gets it.

Bruce doesn’t owe him his parenthood. He had no part in the cloning process. He didn’t ask to have another kid dumped on him so suddenly after he lost his own. Passing Tim off to the foster system wasn’t an inherently unreasonable decision.

The rejection still stung, but Tim had been able to understand it. Bruce just didn’t want to take in another kid.

Except that evidently Bruce did want more kids. He recruited multiple other teenagers into his vigilante brood.

So why had Bruce rejected him?

He couldn’t get the question out of his head. Was his existence really that disgusting a thing? Was he doomed to always be alone, to never find anyone who cared about him?

Those fears had gradually worn away after he found a new family in Amity Park with the Grays. Not completely gone, but quieted down enough that he could manage them.

And then Amity Park went to hell. Well, not literally (unless that incident with the Ghost King counted), but the situation was bad. First the ghosts, then the Guys in White taking control.

Phantom was trying his best to maintain things, but it wasn’t enough. A whole team of allies was gradually coming together—beginning with Tim’s own sister Valerie after he convinced her to give the ghost boy a chance—but they were still losing ground. They needed help, badly.

So they sent requests to the Justice League.

But nobody came.

After the first few dozen, the lines actually blacklisted them for spam. Tim then reached out to Bruce directly, sending messages begging for aid.

Yet still, nobody came.

Could Batman be blocking their requests? Did Bruce really hate him that much?

Whatever the reason was, they were on their own. They closed ranks, built up their own systems of managing the issues. The GIW’s advances slowed to a stalemate. With time, maybe they’d even fully triumph over the white-suited bastards.

And then Batman had the nerve to show up and offer help. Like he hadn’t left them to rot.

Tim Gray sneered at his genetic template, not that the other “hero” wouldn’t be able to see it through Tim’e mask.

“Oh, so now you’re here. Ignoring our time of need and only showing up once we’re strong enough to potentially actually win and pose a threat to your image. How typical.”

Then, actually answering the questions from the ask: (beyond the readmore)

Stories based on art, maybe! Depends on what the art is I guess. Making actual art myself… yeah no I’m not likely to be satisfied enough with my skill level to willingly post my drawings.

As for if i would do non-crossovers: not no, but it heavily depends.

Like, I don’t feel confident enough in my depth/breadth of DC knowledge to be able to build off of many of their topics in proper detail. For instance, I know jack shit about the actual canon Flash or Green Lantern stuff, so I couldn’t see being able to write anything with a focus on them without first going through and consuming some of their source material.

Non-crossover stuff that’s purely Danny Phantom is easier for me than DC in that regard - there’s far less source material to comb through and my brain for whatever reason accepts its fanon more readily than with DC.

For other fandoms beyond those two… don’t get your hopes up high. There are a few other series I’ve posted about on this blog and would potentially be willing to write more with, but it’s a far smaller sample than my DPxDC interactions.

Shadow is too stupid to be corrupted by gloom lol

Fanfic prompt : shadow is a being created by ganon so malice could bring him back

But because shadow is concentrated dark magic a malice version of him would be concentrated malice therefore gloom

So when shadow came back from a blood moon he was a gloomy guy (all creepy glow and dark red and stuff)

But if he stayed the same idiot just with the added bonus of constantly killing anything he touches (the grass will be evaporating lol)

That would create a few problems

Four figured out quickly that his hand will be burning when he holds hands (good that Wild has a life long supply of hearty potions lol)

Shadow feeling guilty about killing every blade of grass in close proximity: I am a monster :(

Four (getting possessed by Vio lol) : this is the most competent you have ever been and you are not even doing it on purpose or anything

The chain was not very happy about four's gloom spawn

Shadow gets light dragon gloves and shoes because unfortunately sacrificing the ecosystem is not a possibility and that random dragon in the air has lots of hair and scales that it doesn’t need (poor Flora her quest wasn’t started yet and she is already getting robbed)

So now he isn’t a hazard for the entire world

But the sheer amount of terror he can cause by controlling the spawns of ganon also known as gloom spawns

He is now a feral gremlin with insta kill enabled

Fighting monsters is easy if you are not affected by dark blood (because he is the dark blood lol)

prev post + my tags people love to say that sam is being entirely fake with purpose to trick people into giving him information because he goes from specific kind of interactions with victims or people with information to having a different one with dean or someone else when that's clearly an incredibly egregious reframing of the simple act of code switching. sam has a very different (work) relationship with a victim than he does dean and within the expression of this is the difference in how he expresses care or interest especially considering the usually delicate circumstances of speaking to someone during a case that sam is clearly able to adapt to. he expresses care for victims otherwise in making sure they're safe, giving them his contact info, being as transparent as he can, etc etc so the assumption of malice is crazy, not canon and also just stupidly transparent about your intent of framing it that way. it's also an awful example of uncritically adopting dean's perspective of what he considers to be sam as doing his very sammy-specific, "you're always saying pansy stuff like that," / "you know, my brother could give you this puppy dog look, and you’d just buy right into it," routine when from sam's perspective it's just him doing the job and caring for the people he comes across in it ("that's only half of the bumper sticker, man.")

these same people usually love to reframe dean as being righteous when he's or violent, rude, flippant to these same case-specific because 'he isn't being fake' like i'm afraid to say that fake or not that is a rude, violent, or disrespectful guy having a conversation with someone regardless. they both need to interview people for information to get their job done, people aren't responding better to sam because he's manipulating them, but simply because he's being more polite or showing care lol
