Greetings, Tumblr! Something to report!

This is a fan blog I'm starting up with the purpose of keeping track of and announcing the birthdays of all our favorite characters from the Fire Emblem series, both mainline and spin-offs! I'll be posting a calendar at the start of every month with days marked for whose birthday will be coming up and other events to be excited for, like the anniversary of video game releases and other noteworthy stuff, and on the special dates I'll be wishing these characters happy birthday! Because of how older Fire Emblem games didn't have a birthday mechanic and most non-recruitable units don't get birthdate coding** I can't celebrate every character in the series, unfortunately. Still, I'll do my best to cover everyone I can!

This blog is run by one person and is inspired by Bot-ta_The_Beast's birthday posts on the Fire Emblem subreddit. Every birthday post will be tagged with the character's full name, any alternate names, and what game they came from. Also, if you made something you want shared, please send me an ask or tag me and I'll reblog it! I love seeing community content but also I'm very inactive online, unfortunately.

Ack- Everyone keeps saying that! I- *sigh* listen: Yes, I do think he's pretty. Very pretty, at that. He's got beautiful eyes, and I do love the way his hair sweeps by his face, it frames his smile quite nicely. And wow, his smile can make my heart flutter- But does that mean I like him? I... I don't know. That's complicated. I mean, I do genuinely enjoy any and all time spent with him, I couldn't ask for a better classmate or a better friend. He's very refreshing to be around! Not to mention, he's quite brilliant. And we think alot alike. Besides, who else is going to go out to break rules with me? Yes, we do spend a lot of time together... and my heart seems to skip a beat when he holds my hand... and... oh. Oh no.

.....Maybe. It's a hard maybe. But how could I ever just tell him that? No. No. Absolutely not.

Blog Anniversary Vote Closed!

For March, I’ll be accepting a limited number of fanfic or analysis/headcanon requests with Hubert as the focus! Requests will be accepted in advance so I can post them up in March. I’ll post up the specific rules for this shortly, I just wanted to share the results first!

A Hubert/ask blog-themed contest was a close second, and one of the people who answered the survey was kind enough to suggest a birthday event... So I’m currently planning on having a contest in April in honor of Hubert’s birthday too!

I should have an update on the anniversary requests this weekend, and the birthday contest is TBD.
