Graphic design artist Moataz Abu Sakran/ @moatazart has provided extensive documentation of the genocide against Gaza. His photos and videos have been used—often without credit—by major media outlets, and his posts are featured on this blog regularly.
Moataz and his wife and baby girl are trapped in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital complex. The area has was under complete siege for 13 days, and made life even more difficult and dangerous than before. In addition to the physical violence of the siege, the occupation’s famine has made food extremely scarce—Moataz and Mariam can no longer find milk and nutritious food for baby Maria.
They were able to raise enough funds to begin the paperwork involved in evacuating to Egypt, but exorbitant processing fees have totally depleted the money they had reserved to find a place to stay in Egypt. They need funds to procure food and shelter while they rebuild their lives in Egypt (God willing), otherwise they will be homeless and destitute.
There was an increase in donations after we initially shared the link on this blog. We are hoping that will happen again. Please support Moataz’s family via this link so that they can reach safety. Even just a few dollars will help. If you can’t donate, please share the link on all your social media accounts.
This is the primary link to donate and share. You can copy and paste it onto other posts and social media sites.
If the primary link does not work, try this link

What makes me extremely sad is that we are all trying to do what we can to find Mansour, someone who was helping by having an organization there and is also Canadian so they can get legal help from Canada to find him. However there are so many Palestinians missing and it's like, they are all deserving to be found.and another example is Lama who is a 9 year old Palestinian and is now the youngest reporter there and ppl are reaching out extra to get her out of there. Idk if this makes sense. It's not the "we shouldn't do that for them because they aren't much different than the others there" it's more of
" there are just far too many and we don't know their names and what they do aside of the fact they are going through the same thing, and we can't provide them all that same extra treatment to get them out as well"
Like yes! Let's do what we can to help Lama and Mansour! But we need to remember there's another 9 year old girl out there too, who's not a reporter, a little boy who shares his drink with his friend, a mother who makes desserts to keep her kids happy, a guy pulling out water from his tent with a small bucket, all who are just trying to survive just as much. Who is deserving to get that help just as much.
And it just feels like the government would just pick and choose who is worthy. THEY ALL ARE.
It's frustrating, it's sad, it's heartbreaking.idk if this makes sense.

Palestinians are starving. Its a deliberate tatic by the IDF to kill them as a part of their zelous genocidal crusade. It's a huge humanitarian crisis at unprecedented levels. They are resorting to eating animal feed and skinning cats. Drinking seawater. Suriving on one, what could generously be called a "meal" per day.
I worry that this may become a new norm or a stereotype. Like, think of those poor starving kids in Africa will become think of those poor starving kids in Gaza. It'll become a way to gulit you into eating more instead of calling out politicians and sending aid. Do you know what I mean?
like, the great Chinese famine (1959-1961) produced a stereotype that China eats dogs, it was used as a basis for undue prejudice. It was taken as a sign of their barbarism and inhumanity rather than a sign of their great desperation. Do you know what I mean?
like, Ireland still hasn't recovered from the Irish Famine (1845-1849) in terms of population and its affects are still in place. Ireland still has reasonably strong ties to the native Americans who sent them aid then, Irish Americans are tracing their ancestral roots and Bram Stoker's Dracula only exists in part because his mother's bedtime stories about the famine gave him vivd nightmares as a child. I sort of wonder how this Palestine will affect our culture, and it will affect our future because of how much its affecting us now with the footage, and the protests and everything. Do you know what I mean?
I don't know what I mean

Fatima Rey is a 27 year old Palestinian woman currently living in the North of Gaza, with her two children and many other Palestinians.
Due to the ongoing genocide, she and her family are homeless and need money to buy a new tent, to help Fatima's brother and sister recieve medical aid and to buy food and water.
Food is very expensive in the North of Gaza currently due to it's scarcity, with one meal for Fatima and her neighbours costing between $100 - $200. They need donations urgently.
Here are some of the photos she shared with me:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fatima spoke to me about how she helps prepare food and distribute water between the people living around her, but that because there are so little donations people are getting hungry.
When I first spoke to her a few weeks ago, she hadn't eaten in 2 weeks.
Here is the food she managed to buy with some donations:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is a picture of her and her children from her twitter profile.
Here are the links to her gofundme and paypal.
By donating to her paypal, the money goes straight to her, whereas withdrawing money from gofundmes usually takes a few days.
These are her social media accounts. Please follow her on Twitter and boost her posts there too if you are able to:
On verification:
Fatima's gofundme has not yet been officially verified by anyone, but I have been talking with her for some time, and she definitely seems to be genuine. Her account shows none of the usual warning signs that an account is a scam. She has shared photos, which I used google Image Search for, and all that comes up is her own gofundme. Additionally, if you are still concerned, most gofundmes, including Fatima's, are donation protected, meaning that you can get your money back if anything does turn out to be a scam.
Tag your moots/friends, reblog her posts, and please donate if you can!!!!!!

Ola is a Mathematics teacher and a graduate student in north Gaza. She was studying at Al-Azhar University and teaching at a school when the occupation attacked. Her home, workplace, and university were all destroyed, leaving her without a house or a way to support her family.
Following the destruction of their home by the IOF, Ola and her family were displaced to a shelter. Repeated bombing attacks have forced them to flee multiple times since then. They are currently still in north Gaza, where food and other basic necessities are extremely scarce.
The price of food in north Gaza is extremely high, and Ola and her family are starving. She is trying to raise money so that she and her family can afford food and water. They want to stay in north Gaza and hope to rebuild their lives there one day, but they are struggling to survive.
You can directly help a Gazan family survive famine and genocide by contributing to Ola’s campaign, and reposting the link (https://gofund.me/89e42c74) on your social media accounts.
Thank you
Ola is verified by @suad-ahmad

we NEED to keep talking about Palestine. we NEED to keep talking about the death and famine in Gaza. we NEED to keep talking about the war crimes the IOF is committing and shamelessly flaunting online right in front of us. Why aren't there any tags regarding this on the trending tags page anymore?
I am so ashamed we can all sit comfortably in our homes and enjoy our fandoms while nearly almost 30,000 Palestinians, 29,692 human lives, have been mercilessly slaughtered and starved out, and thats only since October 7th to this day. The injured count lies almost around 69,879.
In the past 24 hours, at least 86 people were killed, and around 131 others are left injured.
These are not just numbers. They are REAL people who just had their whole lives violently torn apart in just a day. Entire family lines massacred and wiped out in just a day.
UNRWA says the last time it was able to deliver food to northern Gaza was January 23rd.
January 23rd.
That is well over a month by now, and people are starving. People are using donkey fodder to keep themselves going. They have so much hope and determination, but the world is still failing them.
Keep the discussion open. Keep reblogging and tagging updates on Palestine. Keep doing your daily clicks, and donate somewhere if you financially can. Keep striking. Keep sharing the atrocities committed by the I"D"F and its supporters (our own complicit countries) so the innocent people of Palestine aren't swept under the rug like the rubble that burries their martyred mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, and children. I am painfully reminded of my own people lying in unmarked graves somewhere forgotten and hidden away, the horrors of residential schools shared to me by my poor grandmother and Canada's continued silence. And that pales in comparison to the mangled bodies piling up in Gaza before our very eyes.
This is genocide.
This is not a trend, this is real life. They are still dying, starving, mourning, and petrified. Never forget the genocide the IOF is carrying out for the whole world to see. Never stop talking about it long after Palestine is free.
From the river to the sea, Palestine WILL be free. 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

There are 2000+ Trucks Stuck at Rafah Crossing, But Palestinians are Dying of Hunger and Thirst. Literally.
I'm aware that the West only gets a tiny percentage of what's really going on in Gaza, so here's something many of you might not know..
These are aerial images of the trucks standing outside of Rafah Crossing as of 22 Feb 2024. Just a couple kilometers away from the people who desperately need them, because Hell's Chosen Animals(TM) are blocking them on one hand and blowing up everything on the other, including the roads they need to travel on.
Two. THOUSAND. Trucks full of urgent necessities. Look at how far they go back
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Seriously the images don't do it justice. Go see the video to get the full scale] [And here’s another one]
You know the official 30,000 death toll number that this genocide is at right now?
These are only the cases that arrive to the hospitals and medical centers (you know, when there were still hospitals).
Let me repeat: the 30,000 death toll ONLY refers to victims who were taken to a hospital.
The real number is much higher. And in case you don't know, there are already children who have literally died of dehydration and starvation. This, for Israel and the US, is a very efficient way to kill off an entire population as cheaply as possible, since they don't have to spend any more on war and artillery.
Below is just one example. This young man is going to bury his 2-month old baby because he died of dehydration. That's the literal, official COD.
Tumblr media
This is sick. This is messed up beyond words.
There are thousands of trucks carrying food, water, and medical supplies only kilometers away, but people are dying of hunger and thirst.
