yeah feirefiz isn't technically Pellinore's but i like him and i want him to be part of this. also everything Gahmuret gets up too is serious Pellinore vibes he would definitely have two wives at once and whoops abandoned one because of his secret late night jousting habit.

It suddenly occurs to me how funny it would be if the Questing Beast was literally a giraffe, running around fifth-century England for unexplained reasons. Mind you, this wouldn't change the plot at all, since Pellinore et al. would still see it as a bizarre and monstrous creature.

Then Feirefiz shows up and sees people chasing it and is just like "...what?"

um sorry to inform you but... "the head and neck of a serpent, the body of a leopard, the haunches of a lion and the feet of a hart" ...i believe your "questing beast" is simply a giraffe. what it is doing in the great of britain i cannot tell you but that is really just a nice giraffe you've got there

In the line-up (not in order), we've got a novice gladiator who's trying a make it big, a self-taught surgeon who more or less knows what they're doing, a paladin getting crushed by the weight of his own ideals, another gladiator who keeps accidentally poisoning herself, and a Normal Cook.

I don't know what you'd make their father Gahmuret specifically though, maybe a lion or something

Also, im pretty sure Feirefiz is the older one since he's the son of Gahmuret's first marriage. idk by how much tho

So... first official training session went... Well, it didn't go well.

First thing: as the trainer pointed out, Fiz possibly was not a feral marine, more likely an abandoned marine that found the feral colony until he got kicked out. He is far too affectionate for that and too well-behaved (in a matter of speaking).

Second: Dude tried to fight every Astartes present.

Third: other people got close to me, he started being very, very protective, hissing and growling until they got the message. No incidents, luckily because the trainer seperated us out early on.

With me, he is the biggest sweetheart. Other people, not so much.

Due to that, we are going to have a lot of single lessons with the trainer. Any advice on getting Fiz more socialized?

(i'm posting this a biit early because I don't trust myself to remember it before August first and I want to give folks some time <3 Y'all feel free to get started early if you need to - I know August is busy, especially for those of us still in school - but I won't start reblogging until August)

Warm+Cozy(11-15)-

Now that we've whumped everyone it's time for some fluff! Bonding, cuddles, hurt with heavy comfort, just all the warm feelings.

Getting Heated!! (16-20)-

An argument, a romance, *cough*smut*cough*, a busy day in the kitchens.... or all four! Is it just me, or is it getting hot in here! :flustered:

Lady of the Hour(21-25)-

Enough of the knights, time for some ladies!! Everyone from Guinevere and Morgan to Adrivette and the Lady of Lys.
