I completely understand the desire to discuss the apparent taivan erasure within the Yellowjackets fandom but I am sooo tired of seeing people chalk it up to those two women being “butch”.

He liked to watch her go out and shoot cans in the decrepit gardens of Hawkeye Manor.

She was sharp and precise as she aimed and fired. Her skirts picked up the breeze, her hair golden in the sunset.

He spent his days stuck in the library. His world was books and dust.

Then there was his Master’s daughter. Always outside in the vast fields of the Manor.

Roy was from the city, he was used to the girls around him being prim and proper and domestic. Riza was wild and free.

He had been smitten from that moment on.
