honest to god favorite fnaf game?

ultimate custom night.

dont come after me yet let me explain,,

not necessarily for gameplay (that one goes to fnaf1 and fnaf6), but the purpose it plays in the lore.

time after time has it confirmed a multitude of theories people have been pumping out for 8 years. whether this be lore relating to cassidy's vengeful spirit, henry's robotics/the mediocre melodie's importance to the plot, henry and william's relationship pre-murders, possession of the toys, mangle's gender, any of the animatronics' genders really, the importance of chica, how william lured his victims/his strategy, and susie being the first of the 5 kids.

out of all of these, the most important is the significance of the player change. not is it just for the lore clues, but rather the plot in general. its been confirmed in-game that you're playing as william afton, post-murders and post-springlocks, as well as post-fnaf3/6. this is slowly touched up on by the death quotes of the animatronics, before leading up to the fact that it takes place in william's special own purgatory, relating back to henry's speech in fnaf6.

ever feel like you're being tortured, playing 50/20 mode 25 hours a day? that's how you're supposed to feel, since that's how william feels. except each death is more real, as he experiences it inside the screen. william is being tortured, being killed over and over again for his actions, being forced to relive the robots he made that started it all. being forced to relive all these different locations, that trigger him, cause him ptsd, or to melt down. these are being flashed over and over again with no particular end.

yes, it is his own purgatory. and this is also what henry meant by how "the darkest pit of hell has opened to swallow you whole". this was the pit of hell he was talking about. imagine being overwhelmed by all of your triggers that never end, and the feeling keeps stacking up and up, and right when you think it cant get any worse, it does, and the bar of pain skyrockets. where theres no limit to your torture, and it can just keep layering and layering upon itself. and imagine that you had deserved that level of psychological and physical torture, like how william afton had deserved it. the idea is HEAVY. which is why its one of my favorites.

but how do we know he's suffering to such extent? well, imagine what you experience playing in the game, in real life, turned up to the max. we know its PAINFUL because of the way he screams in the old man consequences secret in-game. he goes as far as to communicate in the teeniest source of gameplay to reach out to someone, ANYONE. he reaches out to the two people that are never going to help him. this shows how desperate he is, and yet still so arrogant. we also know this is his own purgatory because of henry's words to william in his speech, but also because of an easter egg you can get with old man consequences.

the concept of william, instead of being put to rest or being brought back to life to be tortured, having his own purgatory that he is to remain in forever is so cool, and the way fnaf should've ended. knowing he was in neverending pain, and all other souls have been put to rest. its my favorite concept in the eyes of lore, so yes, ucn is my favorite fnaf game.

idk if i've ever talked abt Hazel's backstory on here or not but it's suuuuuper petty and dumb LMAOOOO

basically at some point the PizzaPlex started getting complaints from a few parents that their daycare didn't 'meet standards,' in that the 'child-to-caretaker-ratio' wasn't acceptable. So the solution was to bring an old concept out of storage and dress it up to look like a third daycare attendant! Enter Hazel, a project scrapped after the execs decided that having a rabbit (Bonnie) and a hare (Hazel) was one too many bunny-shaped mascots.

so they rush Hazel together into what is, functionally, a beta-phase of her project wearing a children's-caretaker costume, and management says 'good enough!' and they drop her into the daycare with almost zero training/socialization programming, and Sun and Moon are left with the worlds newest of new hires with little to no warning. Okay you three have fun byeeee!

Sun, not wanting to deal with training a clearly unfinished new hire, and not wanting to essentially share his daycare with some unqualified stranger, 'welcomes' her cheerfully and immediately 'offers' her her own special spot in the daycare: a corner far from where the kids normally congregate, with a small, seldom-used storage closet for her to use as her 'dressing room.' Hazel, not knowing any better and just happy to be here, is SO EXCITED and is ecstatic to start her new job as a fellow daycare attendant- and to be brought under the wing of Sun and Moon as their friend and equal. WRONG LMAOOOO Sun actively ignores her whenever the kids are around and subtly discourages them from playing near Hazel's corner, and Moon keeps to himself so often anyway that even if she had been a more active participant, they wouldn't have interacted much to begin with. She's left on her own, watching and waiting and, eventually, wondering if she was following Sun's instructions to 'stay right there and try not to have any problems' incorrectly.

At some point she wakes up and Realizes, this whole time she had been MISERABLE and LONELY and stuck on the outside looking in, and for what?? Because someone didn't feel like taking the extra three seconds to explain to her the 'proper' way to clean the daycare, or how to calm down a child thats overstimulated and cranky? Because she wasn't made correctly? And who had made her that way, anyway? And why? Why was she like this? Why hadn't anyone fixed her? Why was everything so wrong? And why did it feel like it was all her fault???

To cope with the abandonment, the anger, the loneliness, the sadness, the confusion, she twists it all together into an obsession with her own suffering and inflicting it on others in every way she can- mean jokes, twisted threats, uncomfortable bluntness, sowing strife and distrust into every relationship she comes in contact with, etc, etc. She's angry and hurting and longing for something meaningful- why should everyone else get to be happy?

Is that childish as hell. yea. is it stupid as fuck. yea. is she a dramatic little shit. yea lol

I just- I feel like Henry being scratched out to that extent in the scrapped picture might mean something, as Williams face is only scratched out, but Henry, we can barely see him I just I feel like this has to mean something Though It was scrapped, so maybe not But It just doesn’t make sense, as Henry is the one we have a cannon design for, so obviously they weren’t trying to hide the fact it was Henry So- What does it mean!?!?

Like- Does this imply something in the games? And the way springbonnie freaks out and like, fumbles when it sees the photo-

(I have just realize springbonnie gets hit with Oswald’s fathers arm, but it is interesting that it was interested in the photo at all) It’s just It’s got to mean something

And Springbonnie in this game isn’t even William, but an agony manifestation I guess (that’s the theory I’ve seen) So it can’t be because William recognized his old friend or anything I just Is this a picture from William, maybe he scratched Henry out of anger? But why would he scratch out his own face as well? What does it mean

First of all, everyone believes the fandom Micheal Schmidt and Micheal Afton is canon, he is NOT. The only thing we know about Mike Schmidt is that he is the silent protagonist in the first game that exists. Then you have Micheal Afton who hasn't been confirmed to be Micheal Schmidt but is hinted at being so in a few instances but is never actually confirmed. All we know about him is that he went into sister location, freed his sister, his dad is William Afton, and he exists for a bit and then dies dramatically and that's it.

THAT'S the ACTUAL canon for Mike Schmidt and Mike Afton

Yes the book is in his perspective but that book is meant to be a fun insight into the characters and lore, if it was actually through that character's perspective everything would be incredibly limited and let's not forget there isn't even a page on either Micheal.

He is a blank slate character in reality, the one people know of was made up by fans and now new fans are hating the movie because they see the fandom mike and lore as CANON LORE when it ISN'T

Never. its literally the SCARE FACTOR OF THE ENTIRE FUCKING SERIES. the good ending of fnaf 3 implies that the childrens souls have been released and fazbear frights and springtrap was supposed to be burned to the ground ending it all, the completion ending in fnaf 6, henrys ENTIRE MONOLOGUE is literally about freeing the remaining souls and literally says that william afton will BURN IN HELL. like literally what more evidence do people need?????

the missing children, the dead children etc etc is literally supposed to be sad. its supposed to be tragic. in fnaf, youre not supposed to root for william afton. IN FACT, you LITERALLY play as innocent bystanders trying to escape 95% of the time in the games. even when you play as micheal afton in sister location, literally doing his fathers bidding, at the end of the game nothing good happens to mike. this task was not noble, he did what his father asked him to do and he fucking died. like its so obvious if you have played the games or just know literally anything genuinely about fnaf.

even casually william afton is depicted time and time again to be generally repulsive, the only times he is seen as good or chill in any way is when hes LYING TO PEOPLE. and even then!!! he still offputting and weird, very few people genuinely want to be around him. in the entire series we only know that William has a single friend, and he KILLS HIS DAUGHTER !!!!!!!! FOR FUCKS SAKEEEEE HE ISNT EVEN SHOWN TO HAVE A PRESENT WIFE. LIKE ?!?!?!??!?!

child murderer has never been a "necessity" for afton, there is no precedent ever set for his character EVER. that would point towards him being grief stricken, that he has ever felt remorse for killing those children. the only teeny tiny little inkling we have ever seen of him feeling negatively about the dead kids is right before he was springlocked. he doesn't feel bad for killing the children, hes scared when hes faced with the consequences of his actions. ofc William 'baby killer' afton isnt gonna go around proudly proclaiming that he kills children, because then hed go to jail r smth. and he doesnt want that, he WANTS to kill more children!!!!!!! there is literally proof via his actions and dialogue in the games that literally just point to the fact that the only reason he does the things he does is because he likes to hurt people, he Likes to kill children. he was never pushed to the extremes, William afton IS the extreme !!

Don't mind me just ranting about hyperfixations.

Okay, I don't like how alot of my hyperfixations have joined forces to bash my head in nowadays. Like since late 2022 to the start of 2023 I went from Sonic Prime to Generation loss to ROTTMNT, FNAF, Welcome Home, Amanda the adventurer, and so much more that I can remember and right now the exact same thing is happening.

It's like a hyperfixation overload. I'm in the middle of RC9GN while still hanging onto TMNT and checking in every now and then to Mortal Kombat (11 and 1) and finally topping it off with Sonic the hedgehog and Poppy Playtime again.

I can multi-task yeah, but my brain can only handle so much silly fun times and bright colour's with a dash of angst :(
