Special shout out to the canon Lord Eclipse AU. I loved it when it first started, but everything felt kinda flat to me as it went on. Without the canon SAMS Lord Eclipse AU, Anima Sola would not exist.

So in a way, thank you SAMS for having that AU be poorly written.

For those who don't know, @artistic-shapeshifter is hosting a Eclipse Week 2025 for CANON FNAF Ruin Eclipse! (Click for original post!) There's a handful of rules and optional Prompts for each day if you're curious! It goes from the 19th to the 25th! Very excited to see all the wonderful Eclipse stuff throughout the week :3c

Taking it easy for today since it's my birthday! :D So below is a snippet I had made a couple months ago to get a feel of how'd I'd write a post-Ruin Eclipse fic! Enjoy! 💖

Rain to a Robot: Ruin Eclipse X GN reader Tags: Fluff and Angst, Fluff, Comfort, little Hurt with Comfort, he/they pronouns used here for DCA Words: ~680 (Would likely take place in later half of 2nd arc -- implied romantic feelings, but not the focus)

The droplets pitter patter against the window, unrelenting and threatening to flood the streets. The sky is grey and the noise is overwhelming, mother nature demanding attention; the attention that it craves to have after all the labor of love she's provided. It's beautiful.

Not a single thought could be heard over the treacherous weather beating against the building.

Sun would have remembered the times when he feared the rain, terrified of when it was particularly stormy. They'd jump at even the smallest crackle of thunder in the distance. A single power outage would have caused ruin to all those he swore to protect; hands jittering, afraid to touch anyone.

Nevermind all the generators, without them preemptively running due to lazy staff, even a second of the lights out would spell disaster. He taught his little friends to hide hide hide away in the play structures, hoping they'd be smart enough to remember his aptly named game of “Generators” if the lights went out.

Moon would have remembered the times when rain was a reprieve. Not many families came in on rainy days, which meant less children in the pizza plex, thus, practically no victims on such days. The Virus would be quiet, uncaring of what they'd do with no poor soul locked in the building.

He'd scuttle about the building to follow his security protocols, but at the times when no one cared, when each room was checked… They’d hug near the roof, even entering vents to get as close as possible to the outside, just to hear the wet smacks from the other side. The sound spelt peace.

Eclipse doesn't know how to feel about the rain personally.

It's been so long since he was Sun. Since he was Moon. Conjoined into one, trying to get used to the splits of their AI merging back together. Being outside of the pizza plex was enough of a hurdle to overcome.

He doesn't fear the rain, but he's not exactly comfortable with it either. The power going out would be more of an tiny annoyance, the internet no longer available to keep him and you entertained. The biggest comfort of rainy days are just because they keep his beloved inside longer with him, nothing exactly for himself, though he supposes reminiscing isn't always bad.

On rainy days like these, Eclipse found the best thing he could do was watch.

He'll admire the racing droplets running down the windowpane for Moon.

He'll keep inside and dry, a safe and warm comfort for Sun.

And for himself, he'll wait for you to join him, mug in hand. Hot cocoa to keep you warm as you cuddle against their distorted casing.

You once told him the way he acts is so nostalgic, comparing their rapt attention to childhood memories of being stuck in a car, betting on which raindrop would be faster as it danced across the door window.

Thinking of such things makes him giggle. He adores hearing of your childish side. Such a whimsical view of things…

That is another thing that makes him so unlike Sun and Moon. Unlike them, he has you.

You'd place your mug on the windowsill he crowds, before crawling up against him on the couch with a thick wool blanket to keep the warmth between the two of you. Then, as snug as a bug in a rug, together you point out raindrops and bet on which one will win.

Eclipse learned to watch instead of listen, not because he couldn't, but he had the choice to.

He watched as his chosen champions won or lost. He watched as you sipped on your warm drink. He watched as you snuggled in, turning into his chest, sleepily denying your tired antics. He watched as you snored in his arms, taking the thought of rain away from him altogether.

Rain was nice, and it used to be of the utmost importance. Now, it's only important because you make it so.

Not a single worry or lingering sense of dread in sight.

Not even a drop.

May 19th marks the anniversary for the day the first FNAF Security Breach: Ruin DLC trailer was revealed! In celebration Ruin Eclipse's first appearance I'll be opening a magma collab board from today!

This will be a multi day-long themed magma collab where we'll be aiming to try add as many Eclipses as we can on one page! (This includes AUs and variations! Sun and Moons and their variations/AUs are also allowed!)

Remember! The board will be open and available for at least 3 days from when this is posted! This give people a chance to join if they are busy for the opening day or generally need time to finish their art!

The theme was ‘Amalgamation’

For some repair/maintenance reason, Canon Eclipse has to temporarily separate into Canon Sun and Moon. Their partners are trying to figure out how their sweet and well mannered partner came from merging an absolute gremlin and glitterglue Burgerpants. (Bonus if Canon Eclipse’s affection for their partners carries over to Sun and Moon, but they show it differently)

This scenario is lovely, but I haven't recovered from you calling canon Sun "Glitterglue Burgerpants", God, that is hilarious-

Coining A System Term

since we cant find one that fits

“Sunset”

Sunset as a term describes the state of two alters, and or the state of a subsystem. In this state two or more alters appear as one alter in headspace, similar to a subsystem, however in this state the boundaries between these two alters may seem fluid. At times they may be two distinct alters in a subsystem, other times they often may seem, speak and or feel like one alter, or often temporarily fuse, blend, or merge into one alter, other times it may be that they only partially feel/seem the same/are fused ect, or one alter is more prominent in the fusion/mix/merge ect of the two alters.

Examples using phrases, Yellow is alter one, red is alter two, orange is the 3rd fused/mixed alter.  

“Today I (yellow) am front, Red isn’t front right now”

“Red is front but I feel partially mixed with yellow”

“Orange is front today, we are currently sunsetted”

Subsystems, who identify as a sunset, may use the term “sunset subsystem”.

Sunsets can also have their own “headspace” or layer in headspace that acts like a headspace. 

Sunsets can either be formed as sunsets, or two or more system members may “fuse” into a sunset.

Some sunsets may name their mixed state. They may also see their sunsetted state as a separate alter, or they may not. 

“Sunsetting/Sunsetted”

Sunsetting is a term to describe when a sunset is mixed/fused/feels as if the same alter/ect. It may also be used by those who fused into a sunset, to describe the action of fusing into a sunset.

The term was inspired by the characters Sun and Moon, From the game FNAF;SB, due to their state of being one in the same but not ONE in the same perfectly described the feeling of being a sunset, as well as their eclipsed state being the perfect example of what being sunsetted may be/feel like. 

Despite this I also find garnet from SU also describes the feeling quite well.

I am glad to know I'm not the only one who prefers Moon more as well

And if I can be completely honest, I don't like how Moon is constantly characterized in both the game and books. I can't stand how Moon is just written as 'he's just Sun's creepy and evil alterego' and that's it, I don't understand why they gave him no other character or personality beyond that. When they didn't do that with everyone else, Sun was only on screen for fifteen minutes, and you get a complete understanding of his character, personality, and story. But Moon gets nothing like that what-so ever and it hurts to see.

Because I have to ask, is Moon really evil? The games and books tell you he is, but we don't get to see how Moon feels about it or if he believes he is evil. Nor do we get a motive behind it other than he was 'programed that way' or 'it's the virus making him act that way' and no one seems to agree on which one is more likely. But I can't blame them since we have nothing to go on because the writers couldn't be bothered to give us any insight into Moon as a character.

And I was not happy with the daycare section in Ruin, It felt rushed and wasn't scary as the base game. But my biggest problem with the section was how we deal with Moon. The fact that we had to hurt Moon with the lights and hearing him crying out in pain made me extremely uncomfortable. And he clearly didn't want to merge Sun but we just ignore him and reboot him anyway.

Sorry for spilling this out on you, I'm just happy to meet someone who loves Moon as much as I do

I do agree with a lot of this, and yeah Moon is my fav, probably mostly because I can relate to him better.

That's a long post so I cut it

FNAF explanations for different things sometimes are very silly and don't make sense, but I don't agree that he's portraited evil in games, as in DLC we get very small amount of information that before virus he was okay?

Books and games are different universes as well, if I'm not mistaken and are not canon to each other.

The fact that we don't get to see his view on all of the situation is sad, yeah, but gotta be real, dca in general doesn't get enough screen time. Sun and Moon and Eclipse have a giant potential as characters but just never get that used, unfortunately. As FNAF is Freddy's game. Not dca's.

Ruin was harsh. It was supposed to be uncomfortable, as our favourite characters are hurt, crashed and forgotten. Everyone suffers there and DLC was much scarier (to me) just because of that fact, of how we literally hear our character cry and scream and save themselves.

My thoughts on ruin Moon are biased, as he's my fav but I do believe that he wanted to get back the control that he lost in the main game, as Sun was forced to lock him away. "Keep the lights on", and Moon was just going insane being locked away for so long.

That's why we see him not as angry in the main game, because Gregory turned the lights off, and Moon doesn't have any reason to be angry at him for that. All his actions after that, trying to catch Gregory, calling him a rulebreaker, as I think go from virus.

Meanwhile in the ruin Cassie tries to do the opposite, to turn the light back on, to try and lock him up again. Sun is crying about being trapped in an endless nap, but we just keep forgetting that Sun did the same to Moon in the main game. Moon just unlike Sun didn't have an opportunity to cry about it.

I also think that the more time passes the more broken they get. Light hurts Moon because he can't switch to Sun, as it would normally happen, because of the ar. That's why it hurts so bad. That's why they need a reboot. Sun was just the first one to realize it, while Moon is being consumed by anger, virus, and trying to regain the control that he lacked for years and years. He doesn't want a reboot, but he indeed needs it.

I don't think that he's evil. I think he's hurt. He's just another victim of the situation, unfortunately often misinterpreted as a villain. Unfortunately being the "angry" and "dangerous" and "scary" one, while he just wants the same things as Sun does. He doesn't want pain(so he tries to stop us from turning the lights on), he doesn't want being caged. He chooses the simplest for that moment solution, it doesn't hurt them to be in the dark, so he tries to keep the dark.

Eclipsing Skies (FNaF / TSAMS FANFIC)

‼️Just letting everyone know, while it says FNaF / TSAMS FANFIC, there is little to no TSAMS aspects until the second book and all the main characters are OC's or AU versions of TSAMS characters. The main protagonist, Eclipse, is not the same as FNaF SB Ruin DLC Eclipse and not the same as TSAMS Eclipse.‼️

Chapter 7

I found myself laying down on a bunch of pastel-coloured clouds, and pushed myself up, I decided to walk around the space. By all forms of logic, I should not be able to stand on clouds, but here I am. Standing on clouds.

One problem.

This felt too real to be a dream.

The clouds were almost soft, just like how a child would imagine a cloud feels like. I crouched down and picked up some of the cloud, it was a mix of pastel pink and blue, with a bit of purple in the middle. I set it down, and it merged back with the floor. The entire space was just a black void with pastel clouds on the top and bottom. I jumped up, and floated for a little bit, but then came back to the ground, sinking slightly into the clouds before bouncing back up.

“This is...fun!” I jumped up and down, giggling. I laid on the floor for a while, after I did it, but then heard glitching. I sat up, looking around, then stood up, and froze in shock.

There they were.

Sun and Moon.

Unmoving.

Frozen, even.

Right there.

I looked up and saw a hazard symbol glitching above them. I walked up to them, and saw a machine of sorts next to Moon, and ran my hand over the machine. When my hand reached a certain button, my vision glitched.

I woke up, breathing slow. I looked around, and saw my wall of Meteor research, I remembered what I was doing, and went to write down the Meteor hazard glitch. But the record was gone. In its place was a black void with neon yellow text glitching in and out that read, “Nice Try.”

The perfect amalgamation of day and night, Eclipse is here is here to grace us with their Youtooz plush debut! With a mix of the Sun and Moon faces and bodies merged together, everyone's favourite daycare attendant sits at 9 inches tall with their legs kicked forward as they're missing a right foot and wearing torn blue pants that held up by a red belt flanked by a ruffled peplum. Their torso is a mixture of Sun on the right side, with a soft yellow top, the left side is dark mesh and blue fabric in the style of Moon as hanging on both wrists are yellow bells attached by red fabric. The cutest happy smile crosses their split face as the yellow triangle that surround their head are scraped up and missing, while a star patterned sleep cap sits snugly atop their dome. This plush is packed to the seams with 100% PP cotton and made of a mixture of normal and sublimated minky materials, absolutely perfect for cuddling or working your shift at the daycare with.

If it is as I saw-then I feel Sassy Sun and Kind Moon are basically the aftermath of playing FNAF SB mini games XD like they feel how the fandom used to see em,turning their roles all over the place! BACK TO THE SHOW-it would be wonder if instead of a computer guess we saw literally merged Sun-Clips and Moonara's show up as canon characters- anma be honest, the What if's in the computer can be interesing BUT heavly unbias.. like Moon's information on everyone is limited because He choosed to not care..so most times if feellss...bland...

So I'm not typically a FNAF fan, BUUUUUT-

ahem, yeah, I caved and made a Sun and Moon. C:

This is Cesar and Marius, and these two come from an AU in which Fazbear Entertainment is more than just what the tin has, and less about animatronics (AKA these two were experiments!). Eventually, the AU Eclipse comes into existence (Erinome, not shown here and created by a friend of mine) and they escape the timeline and into a merged multiverse timeline, running their own (incredibly sweet) daycare!

The two of them stand at 14ft tall naturally. Erinome is ironically smaller at 6ft tall (This is, like many of the things I've worked on meant to help make AU stuff more unique lol)!

Discontinued FNAF fics in the Cradle

Plenty of fic ideas I never continue on, cuz I lose the writing drive faster than drawing drive for sure. On top of chronic fatigue not ONLY makes it hard to draw due to physical limitations, but also causes brain fog to ruin ability to write and keep focus..

So I just wanted to list the ideas for concepts I had but never gonna complete so they ain't just left unknowns forgotten in dusty folders.

InBetween: Classic Y/N x DCA slash fic with the plot twist that Sun hates Y/N cuz he doesn't want any adult help in the daycare and Moon just naturally distrusts adults. But the addition of Eclipse as a security procedure of the two merged together during security incidents, has the new AI immediately crushing on Y/N and try force itself to be present just to spend time together and Y/N has to make Sun and Moon make peace with the new 'intruder' on their life.

I never got too far on this one cuz I'm not good at writing basic romance and got stuck how I wanted my Eclipse to be like in this fic. The basis idea for him was to be cheerful and calm, to easily handle high stress situations, but being a basically newborn AI also very upfront and easy going. "Hi, I just met you and I love you," type, who bond HARD to Y/N to a point that really upsets Sun and Moon cuz they don't like Y/N same way. Though I guess could have opened an interesting talk on the subject of consent between personalities sharing body and the development of sentience in AI, in a simple language it would be written in. But yeah, never though of enough plot to keep interest or bind random scenes together for a longer fic. Only wrote a couple of scene past the intro.

LEGION: Y/N in the pizzaplex, pretty neutral friendship to the animatronics but bonds with the many STAFF bots and wet floor sign bots to a point they start a revolt when feeling Y/N is disrespected by the administration and has to negotiate with the animatronics to have their terms met for themselves and Y/N to regain the peace of the plex.

Had plenty of scenes noted down, I just lost the writing drive as usual whenever it's not a short one-shot. But I did like the way I built up how Y/N bonded with the STAFF bots, giving them names and stickers to identify them beyond their numbers and classification. Repairing them and talking to them to let the simple bots feel like people showing different personalities although all mutes and very basic AI compared to the animatronics. Had the idea since Moondrop counts as security he's head of the security STAFF bots and gets very annoyed when they stop obeying him.

The Attendant's Pet: Meant as a more risque fic about an Urban Explorer Y/N exploring the abandoned pizzaplex and gets stuck in the daycare when Eclipse grabs them and keeps them in captivity for misplaced company.

Was started on shortly after we got the first teasers of the Ruin DLC and knew nothing of the Eclipse we saw presented, so it was really just a spur of the moment. Only got the first chapter down, which I'm still pretty proud of, but got stuck how to continue the story and where I could possibly take it with the idea of psychology of being stuck in captivity by a deranged AI in a broken down ruin they call home. Started based on vague ideas originally meant to be a short story but the intro and first chapter went too long for me to get away with keeping it simple and I just lost the drive. Especially now we know what actually goes down in the DLC.

Solstice: Already rambled about this one in the past. A post apocalyptic world where the animatronics get infected by a virus to make them start a genocide on humanity and leaves society broken. The titular character, Solstice, a cyborg built with parts from the Daycare Attendant just wanting to make friends despite the lack of trust in crazed and murderous animatronics

Had two chapters for this one and lots of ideas, but again, lost drive because I'm not good at long stories. I do adore the silliness I put into naming some of the human characters, the main character besides Solstice being the rough and tough explorer Chuck and his partner Norris. And the twins they adopted on the way, Steph and Vince, are some old OC's of mine repurposed for the story. The story would follow the group as they get Solstice to join them to travel the wasteland, using their new cyberpunk friend as a bodyguard while unlocking the secrets to what had the animatronics go nuts and why they still target humans without fully making them go extinct.

I love taking my Ruins and adding stuff to their past, the past they remember at the very least. Going "oh yes fnaf Eclipse would probably do this". Like- the present making habit i wrote in "Christmas, only once a year"...
