Silly fic idea for you:

SVSSS AU where Shen Yuan transmigrates as a half-human half-crow-demon Phantom thief character.

He doesn’t want to steal from Bing-ge, but his System makes him, and naturally Bing-ge ends up obsessed. Bing-ge keeps luring him into traps with shiny things he just can’t help but want!!! Stupid crow impulses. (That he kinda wants to see Binghe again is irrelevant, obviously).

This is SUPER silly. Anon, this is so funny, I feel like I simply have to write this now oh my god. The idea that Bing-ge is confused at first, and he then sees this super handsome half bird-half human-demon thing and is like "man I need to get me more shiny things, I want to keep this fucker". ALSO, (I've heard that) crows are quite intelligent and start leaving presents as a response to getting fed or being given shiny things, so it could also be something where Shen Yuan starts having the urge to give Bing-ge things back after receiving all these shiny things (better if he doesn't recognise most of the traps as traps, mistaking Bing-ge for being a generous demon who doesn't need all of the shiny stuff he takes) and starts giving him shit like rocks and plants and the cool parts of beasts he fights... It also can be silly no matter when in the timeline this happens - it could be during the QJ peak arc where Shen Yuan sneaks around because he wants to see the awesome protagonist up close! The first time he steals something from Bing-ge, it's something super dumb like a particularly shiny rock or a coin that the boy left lying around, and Bing-ge's quickly like "??? The fuck just happened?" so he sets up a trap with the axe he uses for chopping wood (kind of rusty but still useable and particularly shiny). After that, it's chaos of trying to keep Shen Yuan the demon hidden while also stopping him from stealing other shiny things (cultivator's swords and such). Liu Qingge finds Shen Yuan trying to steal one of the swords he was gifted after saving a village and is also like "??? Kill?" It can also be after the Endless Abyss, when Bing-ge is like a demon lord and just has shiny stuff lying around. He throws it out occasionally and one day, while doing this, he notices a certain person swooping in and grabbing one of the shiny things. More antics ensue but I don't want to crash my laptop lmao (Which one would you rather me do, anon? Before the Endless Abyss, or after? Or both??) {part one! Now, don't get me wrong, they all give amazing hugs! But each of them have a "fault" in their hug giving

Legend's kinda boney, so while his hugs (when given) are hardly lacking in warmth and care, they're not the most comfortable

Four being short means most people have to hug down and that can put a strain on the back, as well as make it a bit uncomfortable for both parties

Twilight is an amazing hugger, but I feel like he's the kinda guy who hugs you so hard that your feet leave the ground, and while strength is an asset, he doesn't quite grasp just how strong he really is, so it leaves the person he hugs just a bit out of breath after

Time isn't much of a hugger. He's a "hand on the shoulder/back slap" kinda guy. the only persons getting hugs are his wife, kids, and whichever loved one might be dying in front of his eyes at the moment

Wind's at that age where he doesn't hug as much, because he doesn't want people to think he's a little kid anymore. When he does hug though, it's with a lot of enthusiasm, but very brief. the best hugs are the ones that last a moment, so this means he's not the top ranking hugger

Hyule doesn't like hugs. Fairies as a rule don't tend to get in each others' space much because it interferes with the ability to fly (nobody wants to bump into each other) so he's unused to much physical contact at all and even with people he likes, he gets uncomfortable and stiff when people hug him. He's learning, but it's also just not really something he enjoys, so his hugs are just a bit too stiff

Warriors is a very good hugger. He's mindful of his strength, got enough meat on his bones not to make it uncomfortable, and I think he generally enjoys physical affection from his loved ones, so he's not too quick with it or uncomfortable, but he's also touch and go on when it's good to hug him. He doesn't always want to be hugged back either, because he doesn't handle being grabbed well. He might think he'll be fine, but then he's not, and there's no way for anyone to tell when it'll be okay and when it won't.

Sky, on the other hand, is strong enough that you feel secure in his hold, but he's not unaware of his strength, so he's able to be careful with other people. Additionally, he's got just a bit of extra padding on him, between clothing layers and the fact that he's physically healthy, so, again, he's not so bony it's uncomfortable. He definitely loves physical affection, and he doesn't have many bad experiences with physical touch (just don't whisper in his ear and you'll be fine), and I think he genuinely loves giving out hugs. he's also be one of those huggers who makes it a rule to never let go first, so you get as long a hug as you want, but the second you pull back, he let's you go and just smiles at you.

EDIT: It's been brought to my attention that I have sinned and forgotten Wild, so here's my HCs for Wild's hugging type. My opinion overall hasn't changed though: Sky is still the best hugger.

Bing-ge getting super sparkly/shiny jewelry with magical abilities and the wives are like “Ooh, could this be for me?” only, nah. It’s actually to lure in his future husband. Go away. XD

Ahhh! Shen Yuan making a safe haven for crows is a wonderful idea! Demonic crows or yao, whether they’ve cultivated human form or not, are all welcome! Regular crows too!

Since I love teacher Shen Yuan, of course he teaches all the younger ones too. Just because they spend half their time as birds doesn’t mean they can’t get an education!

The human half of his family are probably from some tiny village who gave offerings to the local crow demons and unintentionally became friends (crows being protective of their people and all). Their village is startlingly safe thanks to crows mobbing anyone who dares try to mess with them! There might be other half-crow kiddos running around too, thanks to the good relations. Shen Yuan tutors the village kids too of course!

(Tiny bit of angst, but Bing-ge burns with envy if he finds out! This half-demon friendly town was here the whole time?!)

This is adorable, Shen Yuan seeing these young children and just being like "...students." Sometimes, if the human children are extra lucky, he'll take them on flights as long as they have 'necessary payment' (usually a cool looking rock and proof that they've done their chores). It's impossible to find Shen Yuan without at least one crow perched on his shoulder or in his hair, unless he's going on - what the others describe as - dangerous escapades to nab cool stuff from Bing-ge's palace, in which he will know and stop anyone who tries to follow him because he's a dumbass with no self-preservation skills, not them! It takes him a startlingly long time to figure out that Bing-ge is leaving things for him on purpose, and he is undeniably shocked when he finds out. He eventually finally takes it as a form of courtship due to other demons' and humans' instance that it probably is. After doing research on crows courting one another, did you know that the males feed the females?? And sing to them?? SO, I immediately thought of the idea of Shen Yuan trying to reciprocate the courting (because he would never be so silly as to reject the emperor, no one in their right mind would) by randomly appearing in Bing-ge's room (much to Bing-ge's delight and confusion) and singing sweetly before feeding a willing emperor apple slices or some shit until Bing-ge reciprocates and feeds him in response and Shen Yuan just pauses and goes "hang on, am I the wife?" and immediately takes to the role without any thought. ("Why would Bing-ge be the wife, how foolish of me!") When Bing-ge finds out about the village that accepts half demons, of course he's a little upset! Why couldn't he have this sort of comfort and love in his life? Why did he have to suffer all this time?? Then he goes to this village so that Shen Yuan can show off his nest to the emperor (sign of trust?) and is immediately hit with the "I want to be here forever" train.

Also, the more you think about it, the funnier it gets actually lmao. He just shows up with these gorgeous trinkets and jewellery and sometimes even clothes (shiny embroidery of course), and they vanish and the wives are all like "where the actual hell are they going? Who do we even complain about??" and it could be like a background thing where the wives all get jealous of each other when there's actually just this bird guy who comes over quite often and started by stealing shit while dropping off helpful things. Imagine how strange that must be for the wives. "Ugh, [wife's name here] is taking all the attention away from us!!", "Really? I thought it was [other wife's name]." Meanwhile, there's just one wife (Liu Mingyuan most likely) who just knows and she doesn't tell anyone, content to watch as chaos ensues while the bird man and Luo Bing-ge fall deeper in love with one another, and the gifts get more elaborate each time. {part three! Part one, part two, part four, part five, part six, part seven!!}

I'm thinking about Frodo after his return from Mt Doom. I'm thinking of what he thought about in his sleepless nights, back in Bag End. Of how often his thoughts went back to that day, that moment, when he failed to cast the ring into the fire. If he ever realized that he did everything he could, everything anybody in his position could have done. Or, if he keeps it to himself like a dirty secret, like a sin; the fact that the ring was unmade not because of him, but of the domino effect of Gollum's survival. And when he recalls Gollum, I wonder if he sees him as the actual force of good in his story, or perhaps, the victim of his own weakness to the ring. I wonder if he wonders about an alternative sequence of events where Sméagol survived, and if his death is something he carries like a stigma. If sometimes the weight of the dead crushes him. If he averts his eyes in shame when the other members of the fellowship mention his fortitude, because the shadow of doubt instilled in him by the ring is ever-present, long after its demise. I wonder if he reenacts that fatidic day in his mind, and tries to get glimpses of how he could have acted in a way that did not leave him so diminished and broken. I'm thinking about Frodo.

Confident, calculating, and unnerving.

Rarely without a smile on his face.

Has the energy of an apex predator. Unflinchingly comfortable in spite of any danger, having never known what it feels like to be prey.

Strongest out of his siblings and the leader of their little trio.

Manipulative and power hungry.

His creators have no real control over him. They've created a monster.

Views life as a game and himself as the main character. Doesn't recognize other people as actual people, only as pawns for him to play with. If they don't play the game they way he likes, he breaks them.

Taller than both Sonic and Shadow. Doesn't view either of them as parents, only genetic donors.

He sees Shadow in particular as his prototype.

Only acknowledges other people as important if they have great power or something that he recognizes as stand-out.

Has never known defeat nor fear. Both of these things have the power to shatter his world view.

His siblings are afraid of him for good reason.

Who is to say what his sexuality is??? Probably power-sexual. 😂 He would only ever be attracted to someone based off of strength or what they could offer him.

Andromeda

Short-tempered, snide, and bitter.

A gloomy person over all, almost always in a perpetual state of scowling.

The emotional core of the failed experiment trio. Does her best to keep Void and Polarity from killing each other.

Deeply envious of Stellar and her happy relationship with Sonic and Shadow. Wonders why she wasn't found and whisked away to a better life.

Awful self-esteem. Knows she is unhappy with her life in Cosmic Labs, but doesn't see any way out. At least she has a place she belongs if she stays inside the box that was made for her.

Cares for both Void and Polarity, but doubts if Void returns that sentiment. She and Polarity are close, getting along well when they are alone.

Pressured by their creators to get Void to behave. Since they cannot punish him, Andromeda and Polarity are often punished in his stead.

Secretly craves love, affection, and praise. Despite this, she chooses to fight Stellar whenever they encounter one another instead of accepting her offerings of sisterhood.

If she had to pick between Void or Polarity, she'd pick Polarity.

She is a lesbian!

Polarity

Hot-headed, resentful, and explosive.

The weakest of the siblings (including Stellar) and he knows it. Only outdoes them in speed.

Has an extremely tumultuous relationship with Void. He is constantly trying to prove himself to their creators, but is outshone by his elder brother.

Despite this, he trains harder than either of his siblings, and is often covered in bandages from overworking himself.

Takes the most after Sonic despite everything, and is a fun-loving, quick-witted, and gentle person at his core. If isolated and given enough time to open up, he is actually very sweet.

Only ever confides in Andromeda, and cares about her deeply. He will often step in and take punishments in her stead.

A closeted nerd. Has a stash of old comic books that were given to him by a generous lab worker that he has read cover to cover countless times. He could quote any scene from memory.

Often speaks out against Void and his methods. Void has gotten very good a tuning him out on missions.

Lowest chaos energy reading of all Project Stellar experiments, but cannot be beat in willpower and determination. Notable for his inability to ever give up.

Has constant dark circles around his eyes from lack of sleep and stress. Rarely ever rests.

He is bisexual!

Hi hi!! First off I gotta let you know you're easily one of my favourite artists on Tumblr and I'm pretty sure you're single handedly pulling me back into the star trek obsession with your art (I love the shapes and colours they are very special to me. Also the way you draw bones....love that old man)

But if you don't mind me asking!! How do you go about drawing legs/arms? It's one of the things I'm struggling most with at the moment but I LOVE the way you draw em. No pressure to answer tho ofc!!

nothings suuuper concrete because of course things can always change with body type, weight, or how muscley a character is. i just kind of look at everything from an anatomy perspective, simplify and exaggerate for readability, and uhh also i like shapes and pointy things :]
