Dream Theory Is Not Canon And Never Was

So I typical avoid addressing on MatPat and The Game Theorist as a whole directly say for sometimes when I think it is relevant. This is one of those case because MatPat basically created this "theory" and has tried many times to claim it was Scott's original intention. Alongside claiming he got this right and implying Scott changed it because he was right but also because people wouldn't like Dream Theory being correct.| This bit of information has lead to many FNAF Fans themselves believing Dream Theory was the originally intention or is even possibly still canon especially thanks to a misinterpretation of Five Nights At Freddy's VR: Help Wanted. So I'm going to point out the Smoking Gun on why Dream Theory is not only not canon, but was not Scott's original intent for the first 4 games.

So leading up to Five Nights At Freddy's: Ultimate Custom Night Scott made some joke posts about the game by updating the character guides of some characters on Steam, and would later update them, to their correct descriptions. These include.... Nightmare Fredbear “He appears suddenly in your office holding an alarm clock. You have only a moment to press the button and activate the alarm. If you press the button in time, you will awaken in your bed for ten seconds before falling back asleep and continuing the night.” Foxy “He will run into your office when things are looking dire and offer to help you. You can choose one of three ways for him to assist: He can block one door, clear the vents, or add 1% more power to your meter.” Phone Guy “He will call into your office at random, creating a lot of noise and momentarily increasing the aggressiveness of the animatronics. He cannot call, however, if Springtrap is in the vents, because he can't be in two places at the same time.” What is noteworthy is these are all based on old FNAF "theories." Like Foxy being a good guy in Five Nights At Freddy's 1 and is just checking in on you. Alongside the "theory" that phone guy was the killer. These are incorrect theories, and alongside them is Dream Theory even referencing the the alarm clock which MatPat focused on in his "theory." This would seem to imply through these jokes that Dream Theory alongside these other "theories" are not correct.

Scott seems to make a habit of this, as seen in the special tease for the movie Scott released Freddy in Space 3: Chica in Space. This joke game references all kinds of things from the fandom included Adult Theory. In this game there is a boss that is making a joke about Gregory being well a robot.

Finally I would like to note this Five Nights At Freddy's 1: Movie seems to further back this up. The movie makes references hoaxes in it like the Sparky the Dog hoax, and even has William Afton the killer be the Phone Guy in this movie. Alongside it the movie features none other than Dream Theory. So the movie basically contains several "theories" and even hoaxes that were incorrect in the games.

Foxy spirit isnt called Fritz?? OLD. FIVE. NIGHTS. AT. FREDDDYS.

I'm pretty sure people do this because they weren't around when this was a popular potrayal/headcanon/theory OR they've just forgotten that there WAS a "before we knew this all this stuff" FNaF but it still drives me crazy.

PLEASE do some research before you try to "uhm well ACTUALLY" someone. it could literally just be someones AU you dont know.

we should all bring back those old FNaF AUs to make those people more upset. watch them go crazy trying to correct us and not realize its old FNaF stuff. :3

What's the wildest theory you've ever come across?

It would be a sin to name just one so here's a few:

-all of the blackfootferret's theories especially the ones about Aftons and LAMAR AFTON

-mangle is a dog. Never got the appeal of that one and never understood how was it supposed to make sense

-People claiming FFPS wasn't canon when it released bc they didn't want to accept that Miketrap wasn't real

-The Puppet being the mother of all the missing children

-All the games before Help Wanted not being canon and just a made up story for a game and specifically the faction of that theory saying Oswald from Into the Pit was the developer that made it all up

-and one of the most og ones: Foxy is a good guy and we only die bc we get a heart attack.

And as a bonus here's one I actually used to belive but now looking back its so absurd:

-Pink guy and Purple guy being different characters and all the variants of it such as "pink guy was the murderer and purple guy was innocent but got framed". That was a wild time for sure

It’s a first for me, I usually prefer to read everyone’s theories about the game and just enjoy, but after playing the Touchstarved 2.0 demo; I couldn’t hold it anymore. SPOILERS AHEAD!

So for more context, my favorite character has always been Leander from the start, a close second would be Kuras and I can’t even express how happy I am with the new portrayal of their characters.

Everyone has been reworked (I think), some more than others, but I really enjoyed the nuances added to our lovely love interests.

Kuras

They made him more playful; OG Kuras appeared to be quite aloof, and while I enjoyed the stoic doctor charm; I actually prefer this silly side we were able to witness. Especially at the end when you chose to go for him, the scene where we follow him around feels more mischievous and it’s just Kuras annoying the Senobium cleric (simply cause he can). He gives us a little tour, and the new background is soooo pretty. The moment at the end before we part, and fall in his arms is even more heart fluttering. Also keep in mind that if you want the red option for Kuras you’ll have the play as the Unnamed origin.

Ais

Ok, so I have to admit, I always had a soft spot for Ais, he’s just a chill guy, and I feel like we would vibe a lot together x) In the new demo he seems slightly more cold when we meet him (maybe it’s just me). But his solo scene is one of my favorite, I’m just a sucker for people who compliments my laugh (*wink wink) 🤭 This moment was just so sweet and he appeared much softer thanks to it.

Mhin

What a cutie patootie… They made Mhin way more likable in my opinion, while they’re still our blushing tsundere, I loved how we were able to see a more vulnerable side of them.

We don’t have to die anymore 🥳 More seriously, I didn’t mind the death part, but it’s still nice to have a chance to put foxy in his place (blushing Vere?!) Overall he appeared more relaxed as well, which make sense; if he wants us to trust him, he would have to be more relatable and try to get on our good graces.

Leander

Oh my goodness. Correct me if I’m wrong but I feel like they reworked Leander’s dialogues the most. I don’t mind the name change (from Bloodhounds to Adderstones) even though I would like to know why they removed the "as above so below" slogan. Can we talk about how more INTENSE Leander is in this new version? It was more subtle in the past one, but here, he clearly appears as a cult leader, kinda out of reach even, which is why the MC would feel more special to get his attention. We still don’t know how exactly the Adders operate, though it seems you can’t just barge in and talk to the high and mighty Leander… (we were able to do so, only after mentioning Kuras). I was relishing on every scenes we had with this guy. At the end when you chose him especially, this is where you can clearly tell he’s a manipulative bastard. The "I’m jealous" comment? The joke on having us on a leash?? (for our safety of course haha 😃) The love bombing? He’s so unhinged and I love that. The cherry on top is truly the way he told us he had informations regarding the curse, and is the one proposing to talk about it in our room. LOCKING THE DOOR, of course he’s observant and notices MC being uncomfortable, and manipulate us into urging him to stay. He knows at this point that we’re hopeless, and use it to his advantage to have us exactly where he wants. Things get slightly heated and when MC is reluctant; he just apologies and LEAVES??? Um sir, what about the infos you were supposed to give us? I literally had goosebumps reading this passage, and I think MC felt the same way, I love the way they portrayed the realization settling in, like "Wait a minute?"

Foxy Bully, also known as Michael Afton

The tried and true FNAF guy, ‘twas his brother killed and his father who did the killing. Overall, it’s a decent way to view the story, and doesn’t make my head explode (like goddamn robot children). Furthermore, the Security Logbook has a section where you’re tasked remember as a child “what prizes would you want to see behind the prize counter”, and Mike draws himself with a mullet, tank-top, shorts, and bracelets. So that’s good enough for me lol

Bonnie Bully, also known as Oscar Avila

The first of the tormentors who is kinda out there! There is the popular theory that he is Jeremy Fitzgerald, considering FNAF’s obsession with Jeremy’s and bunny paraphernalia; but Oscar also has a relation to bunnies (Plushtrap chaser)! It kinda works, and the skin tone itself was inspired by @namedoggo ‘s version of Oscar (which is super cool, please check it out!)

I also like to think he is Cassie’s father, because it kinda checks out, but I’m deciding to be oblivious to other current revelations within the community.

Freddy Bully, aka Alec Renner

Speaking of revelations, this character is full of them! Freddy bully is such a hot topic because there are so many people he can be (Jeremy Fitzgerald, Mr. Renner (Tales from the Pizzaplex), Oswald’s Dad), but I thought Alec would be a cool idea because of the whole Lonely Freddy Bodyswap occurrence and that he canonically favours Yarg Foxy. Furthermore, this was kinda tail-ended by the Ao3 fic, “I am Machine” by Hideaway_In_The_Imagination_World or @hideawaysplace on Tumblr. Wherein which Alec was friends with Oscar in the past.

I kinda also tied in Mr. Renner with Alec’s last name (because he doesn’t have one. It made me frustrated for a while), because in Tales from the Pizzaplex, the elementary principal is described as having a Freddy mask and his eyes leak oil? (I don’t actually have the tales books yet, I’m waiting until the box set releases until I get it. So all my info on this guy is limited to the several fandom wikis)

I don’t really want to tie in Oswald’s father, but Alec does have a sister, so Hazel could have the mask? Or Oswald’s dad could’ve just won it as a prize, not everyone who has a mask has to be the bully themself. (Which is ironic for Mr. Renner, but eh.))

Chica Bully, aka Sam O’Neil

Probably the most out there, but this character is practically never talked about with fan theories (for gods sake, literally everyone else in the squad has been theorized to be Jeremy Fitzgerald at some point (including fucking Michael at one point because of his multiple aliases), EXCEPT FOR HIM..?). Furthermore, it was kinda difficult to pick a good character for him, as I wanted to make it so the tormentors have some relation to the character they had the mask of. I really enjoyed Blackbird when I read it, and when I read it the first time, I thought Sam admitted to actually being a bully years before the story itself (he just got back at bullies, but the point still stands). Regardless, why not :)

my theory of old man yaoi difficulty rating which is based on factors such as age hairlines conventional foxiness etc. a ship of guys in their upper 40s or 50s who are both good looking is easy as hell, barely counts. grows more challenging once you get to like the 60, 70 something guys or if one or both is bald. yaoi of old guys who straight up are kinda ugly is certainly tougher but worth it in terms of the spiritual benefits.

i wasnt even planning on watching a playthrough since i havent been super into the steel wool games but i saw this one had lore for chica being made independently at first and i like that theory so i gave in and watched it. i know people hate it when you say you prefer the old game format when talking abt the new ones but i really do </3 the way that the lore was quiet and took its time was so appealing and the fact that you couldnt move much made it feel claustrophobic and helpless. also theyre supposed to be games in the same franchise its kind of ridiculous to act like you cant compare them to one another just because time has passed and the game has somewhat exchanged hands. anyways

this game actually reminded me so much of bendy and poppy playtime, and yeah those games are good, but i just feel like it was a little too on the nose in terms of the genre these days. i mean for me fnaf has always had a refreshing difference to it compared to the other mascot horror games, both in mechanics and vibe, but if you told me this was an individual concept indie mascot horror game id be like yeah okay

in terms of the lore idk im not one for right in your face super explained lore like this for the fnaf games but even with how much time is put into setting up and completing the games lore im already seeing people misunderstand it and try to act like william stole all of edwins designs and characters which is just not true (the post i rbed before this does a good job at explaining the contractor deal going on between fazbear and edwins company) i do like that william is shown to be a shitty guy even before his kids died though. maybe not everyone will like that but i do

i cant even really say what i wouldve wanted done differently because in all honesty the games after ucn are just not for me but i did like some of the additions it made to the og lore. i think chica and foxy being developed with the contributions of other people really adds to the idea that fredbears diner was william and henrys thing and from there the expansions get farther and farther from the original vision as things change. besides that idk not really my game

Hey, everyone. It's been a bit since I last did one of these cause I took a break for a bit, but now I'm back. Let's talk about today's episodes. My gosh, were they great.

I think it's his shade (like a shadow of sorts or the physical embodiment of all the dark star power that was in Nexus, but that's a theory for another time)

Point is! 👏 Nexus is back, and he's after Dazzle. He wants to make Sun suffer for killing him and plans on making his death hurt by going after Dazzle.

Sun and Moon are now contemplating leaving this dimension entirely to avoid all the chaos here, especially the star stuff chaos.

Honestly...

They should have left sooner. This dimension has been nothing but chaos, so I saw leave, take Monty and Earth with ya. Solar and Jack, too. Leave this place! Go to Good!Sven's universe. He would love to have you there!

It would be nice for Sun, Moon, and Earth to have a dad who actually cares.

Also, this episode made me realize Sun has killed a lot of people with fire or fire related things,huh?

Roxas, dude, I want to like you, I do like you, even after this stunt...

And last but certainly not least...

Wow. This Henry is a [Beep]ing terrible person! I mean, I know every Henry isn't perfect. They're all flawed, but gosh, dang!

You allow Vincent to run amok and kill other kids just to keep Afton at bay? What the [Beep] Hen?!

Eclipse is fully in his right to be mad! Henry is not only allowing innocent kids to die, but he also knew the whole time what was happening. He knew everything, about Eclipse, Puppet, Foxy, Puppetmaster, Charlie he knew it all!

He could have helped, but didn't.

(That's messed up for a lot of reasons, like you could have helped here, man)

I get that Henry is trying to prevent Afton from getting a new body by hiding Vincent, but that is no excuse. You helped a child killer serial killer just to prevent another from rising?

That's like, do you wanna get shot in the foot with a revolver or a pistol. It's still gonna hurt. It's still bad.

(And I think it uses the same rounds?)

Eclipse, I don't blame you for wanting to kill Henry. This Henry probably deserves death. I also understand why Charlie protected Henry cause at the end of the day...

that is her dad. Even if he isn't her version of him.

But Eclipse is right. He ain't the hero. He never asked to be.

But now he's stuck playing good guy cause no one else can.

I feel so bad for Eclipse, he just wants his kids back.

I hope he can save them and take both Vincent, Afton, and Henry down.

Fnaf Movie thoughts!

I wanted to ramble some of thoughts and theories I had about the Fnaf Movie.

Cause the brainrot is real and won't leave my brain.

(wow just read back that sentence. Excuse any grammar errors or dumb shit, I'm still very sick)

Below the cut will feature heavy spoilers, so unless you want to be spoiled of the major twists this movie has, I would recommend wait to read this.

I unfortunately couldn't see the movie in my theatres, cause I got horribly sick and wasn't able to get the full theatre experience.

I was able to watch on Peacock, with all my fnaf plushies with a super sinus clogged headache, so that's the mindset I had. lol

Anyway.. Movie time

I absolutely LOVED Mike and Abby. First off.

I didn't even mind a lot of time of the movie was spent AWAY from Freddy's. Because so much is just about learning about Mike and his family and connection to Abby.

Sure, we could have spent the WHOLE movie at Freddy's. But that is not what this movie is about. And it's clearly trying to tell a bigger mystery and this felt a very introduction friendly entry point to anyone confused about the fnaf lore.

I love how completely obsessed Mike is with Dream theory. To the point he's taking heavy duty sleeping pills on his job that he clearly doesn't need and just is doing it so he can relive his dreams/fabricated memories.

The intro credits with the 8-bit style graphics of the minigames in fnaf2-4??? Like bro? I cried. That was so iconic and they fill in the backstory for the purple guy, who actually appears as his sprite??? Like... Man iconic.

Also... Dude... Mike Schmitt in the movie is like... what the Fans wanted Mike in the games to be for YEARS. Like... Mike in the games is nothing. He's a silent face. We know so little about him, and everything else is purely speculative. Even the whole "he was foxy bro and has regret over his brother" ...That's all theory and not confirmed. As far as we know, Crying child and his brother might not even be Afton kids.

But this Mike is EXACTLY the motivations we wanted Mike to have? If that makes sense? He laments his brother was taken at a young age and expresses regret and motivation to want to get him back. he has the motivations that the fandom built for him for years and ran with it, and I LOVE THAT.

FNAF Movie actually gives good reasons why Mike comes back every night, as said in Living Tombstone's iconic song "why do you want to stay?" Cause of his regrets with his brother and his obsession with dream theory and doesn't realize the animatronics are a threat until like... night four.

THE ANIMATRONICS?? THE PUPPETS??? THEY LOOK SO GOOD??? HECK YEAH!!!!

I SCREAMED when I recognized Matpat's voice, and then I saw his face. Reconized him for his voice WAY before I saw his face. I didn't think he'd have a speaking or face cameo and get to say his iconic "it's just a theory" line and about food too??? King shit.

Letting the animatronics have moments where they can just be cute and friendly as well as creepy and bloodthirsty is so great! I want to give them all pets.

THE CHILD ACTORS ARE ALL SO GOOD! To the point you don't even notice! It's often hard to get children to play a convincing performance, but these children acted really well! They must have a real talented director who knew how to get the best of their child actors. You don't even realize that the child actors are great, cause they're so good it's unnoticeable. AMAZING

VANESSA BEING WILLIAM AFTON'S DAUGHTER IS NOTHING SHORT OF BRILLIANT!!!!

I MEAN, I SCREAMED WHEN SHE SAID "William Afton My father"

I was screaming about this in my group chat.

I was screaming for a thousand years.

AND IT makes sense why the cops never found the bodies. Vanessa is a cop! She's covering for her father!

I absolutely LOVE what a girl failure Vanessa is too!

Like she shows up, HEAVILY flirts with Mike (like she was laying it on so thick my demisexual ass was picking up on her vibe) and just shows up to give him exposition on the FNAF lore. fheogheahf. Like. It's great.

(no doubt she was flirting heavily with Mike at the start due to manipulation from her father, I do believe it grows to genuine fondness later)

I've heard people complain about her flipflop nature... BUT THAT's the POINT!

(a literal arcade game in security breach.)

She let Abby play with the animatronics, knowing it was dangerous. Her original plan was to kill Mike, but she changes her plans when she sees he has a kid. (who she thought was his daughter at first) It was only after Abby got injured by Accident, she realized that what a danger she posed by brining them here at all. She only threatened to shoot Mike because she hoped that such an extreme threat would get him to quit. She even tells him about how many security guards quit. But it doesn't.

She even said she tried to warn in her own way. She's terrified of her father. And we get deep foreshadowing about that throughout the movie.

I really hope that in some sequels we will get to see Vanny at some point. Maybe even Springtrap and Vanny working together in the same movie??? CAN YOU IMAGINE THIS?!?!? I WOULD GO FERAL

Anyway, Vanessa is such a girl failure and my girl blorbo. I support her and her woman's wrongs

The minor look of regret after Will stabs his daughter... peak cinema.

The springlock scene... The quiet of the stabs, giving such a realistic collapse... the "I always come back" ...Embracing the monster he knows he is. He is the mask. He isn't hiding behind the mask, like he is being Steve. he is the mask now. Just... Chefs kiss.

The animatronics dragging springtrap away mirrors the ending of Silver Eyes so well, and I'm glad, because that was the best part of the Silver eyes. <3

THE LIVING TOMBSTONE GOT TOP BILLING FOR THE FIRST CREDITS SONG! PERFECT

Garret is 100% going to be the Puppet in the Movie Series. He was the one taken in the car, the spelling out in the minigame sounds at the very end says: "COME FIND HIM" And after Living Tombstone ends, the credits music fades into Grandfather's clock music box... Puppet's song..... Garret will be the Puppet in this universe and I so look forward to that.

I enjoyed the movie. I'm glad that they left the overarching mystery of Garret open to be explored in the sequel.

Fnaf movie notes, spoilers ahead:

First off, fuck Scott Cawthon, let's just say I didn't watch the movie in theaters or on a streaming service.

What I liked:

Matthew Lillard actually looks like William Afton

The "Talking in Your Sleep" cameo was the best one of the movie, next to "I have a theory"

Cory was funny, as expected

I liked how they made the animatronics just kids, they want a friend.

The way the animatronics moved was great, I just wish we could have gotten a foxy running scene.

The cinematography and set design inside the pizzeria was great, and everywhere outside felt very real.

The animatronics were cute when I was supposed to like them and foreboding when I was supposed to be scared of them. I don't know if they physically changed the suits but it works.

Mike's actor was actually pretty good at looking distressed or upset.

I just want to hug the animatronics they are so cute 🥺🥺

The animatronics weren't sadistic, when they killed someone it was because they were trying to get them out or away. Just like if an actual little kid had that power, they wouldn't be cruel or even want to kill anyone, they just don't understand their own power

There actually were five nights!

Springtrap wiping the knife is a reference to Scream, where Matthew Lillard played Ghostface, who is known for wiping their knife after using it.

BALLOON BOY

What I didn't like:

You're telling me they named their main character Mike and they didn't have Afton go "MIKE! MICHAEL!!! MICHAEL DON'T LEAVE ME HERE!!!!! *MICHAEL!*

Vanessa was a nothing burger, even when her motivation was revealed it wasn't that good. I think it would have been better if they set up that she was working with Afton

Golden Freddy was everywhere but they didn't namedrop the kid once, and it was so inconsistent. He's here, he's not here. I'm assuming it's a combination of Cassidy and the Crying Child.

Afton's connection to the story is flimsy. Why was he pretending to be Raglan? I'm assuming it's so he could get night guards to toy with, that's why the animatronics killed the intruders but not Mike.

It's kind of weird thinking about the logic of how Afton killed Mike's brother, and gave his daughter the plane. Just seems a little bit of a stretch.

Even though I hate excessive gore, I thought there wasn't half as much violence as there should have been. I guess the PG-13 rating constricted a lot.

It takes a broom to activate what I'm assuming is a Circus Baby reference springlock, but Afton can jump around in Spring Bonnie.

The only Purple Guy reference we got was a purple tie. They should have made the security vest purple.

Questions

How is the cupcake sentient?

How does Afton control the kids?

Who cleaned up the blood of the four intruders? I'm guessing Afton but I wish they'd made it more clear

Why didn't Afton send out the animatronics on the first night? Even if he wanted to kill Mike, he seems like the type to psychologically torture people beforehand.

Why was there an "it's me" note? I get the reference, but why? Is Mike's brother here?

I just want to rant about the shows and why I like Sun in them 😂 + more observations and theories.

Warning vague spoilers for tsams laws and fams (I think it's eaps now?)

☀️SUN LOVE AHEAD ☀️

I'm to the point Earth was threatened by the Creator and Lunar killed Eclipse and Gemini had to leave, Solar tried to intervene and have them conversate but it blew up on him.

I really like the progression of things. Every time I'm on the fence or in doubt of what's going to happen next I'm blown out of the water. I think I'm enjoying Earth's growth the most. Lunar is regressing but it makes sense for him because he tends to literally run from every problem. Again, it's hard to change and I can actually see that Lunar is ready to grow up and change for the better so I'm excited to see how that goes.

I was at first mad at Moon but I'm convinced there's more nuance. Now I forgive pookie.

Guys Sun, he's just so great. Like... Now that I'm getting caught up again I'm realizing just how much he deals with and I'm not talking about the ✨trauma✨ but just the day to day. Like LAES definitely helped bridge the gap of what goes in the daily lives for the family.

First of all, people like Sun's daycare. (let's be honest it's always been HIS daycare) He's so good at what he does. People bring their actual eldritch abominations, literal hell spawns, and freaks of nature in to be watched by him. The kids of the daycare at this point can't even be considered human. Think about it, the actual Devil from the Bible brings his hellspawn kid in to be watched (I think it's funny he's implied to be rude to Sun, besties with Moon, and nice to Earth). There was an episode dedicated to the possibility of Sun in sheer popularity and merch sales alone could replace Glamrock Freddy (the only reason he didn't take the offer had to do with being uncomfortable on stage!). Plus, most problem-kids end up liking him. Example being Barry and FC (I count Gregory's ghost friends too).

We all know he was built to be a daycare attendant but the Creator literally said "I didn't install any information on that in you because I wanted you to learn it." Sun taught himself all his child care skills and figured it out (while dealing with 5 years of the added stress of Old Moon doing his thangy thang). Childcare is so stressful, I've worked all kinds of jobs and childcare is absolutely one of the hardest I've done.

Childcare is one of the most physically and emotionally demanding jobs and no two methods work on the same kid. You have to be highly adaptive and patient.

One of the biggest things I've noticed is that in the show when kids start being bad instead of telling them "No" or getting frustrated (Earth and Lunar both do this to a degree) Sun knows to redirect them. He redirected Barry as much as he could (it was funny when Barry kept stabbing funtime Freddy). I think he's also the biggest help to Foxy with FC (except Monty and Puppet, they help a lot too). I still think it's funny how FC likes Sun, he told Stitchwraith he's like a toy so he likes playing with him (again something like that, not gonna rewatch the ep to get the exact quote)... Then seeing him vibe with the ghost kids Gregory is friends with? Mwah perfection. I also love his dynamic with Francine, him getting tackle hugged at her birthday party and even consenting to turning into a dragon for her? SO CUTE 🥰

I haven't even gotten to the part when he meets Dazzle and hangs with Jack more but I know it's gonna be so perfect. I really like Jack he's so silly. The broken Ipad bit was comedy gold.

Back to Sun!

It's just a nice reminder Sun earned his skills through hard work. It's great when he gets to shine and teach others about his skill. Childcare in general is so hard, so he needs to know how valued that is.

UGH I just love him.

From what I've seen, he takes such good care of his family too.

He's just so playful and ready to hang with them at the drop of a hat. He let Earth vent to him. He makes sure Lunar is ok and is the only one that doesn't baby him. He asked Earth to reach out to Lunar because he could tell Lunar wasn't comfortable to ask him. He also makes sure Solar gets breaks (it's hard for the show to implement that on screen due to them having the same va but it's still shown he gets Solar to rest). I remember he was one of the first people Ruin really decided to speak to and he didn't just outright kick Ruin out of the daycare.

Then just everything with the current Moon too. He comforts him, gets him to rest, and was there when he broke down over Solar. I also like that he's actually the voice of reason for the current Moon and he feels comfortable enough to argue back (it's big for him. I still get goosebumps from when he was learning star power in secret and actually had a shouting match over it with Moon)

I haven't gotten to the part when he tells Earth and Lunar about Solar's death and Ruin's betrayal but I know he's going to be there for them too when he does.

I understand the fandom perceives Old Moon as the older brother but I just disagree with that fundamentally. Sun was the first one awake so to me that makes him the oldest. I think KC likes to claim the oldest but idk how that works programming-code creation wise? In one of the most recent episodes I watched Lunar called Old Moon the big brother but idk man....I don't see it. To me Sun has always been the oldest.

I love seeing him get to be a big brother to people who genuinely fight over his attention. It's just so warm and fuzzy. Like Lunar and Earth going to him to literally just be pampered? And he was so ready to? He went to the store to make them a charcuterie board. They just showed up uninvited and immediately demanded love and my home boy delivered.

"Sun you're the big brother and we're babies, we are babies . Take care of us big bro we want your love 🥺 we're the baby siblings take care of us"

Good stuff.

I like how in the Therapy ep Sun sussed out invisible Lunar. I think he's one of the only people to know when Lunar is invisible.

Ok so my theories and stuff

So like... Am I imagining that Moon's eyes are suddenly glowing purple? They didn't used to do that. I paused my progress of the sams watch through but in the ep I'm watching with him having his total mental break (having a realistic dream Sun died would do that) I noticed it seems like his eyes have a purple glow. And I'm really certain they didn't used to do that.

I was told to watch him and that's like the biggest thing I'm noticing with him. He seems sick? I can tell Earth, Monty, and Sun are trying to help him but like I've seen the spoilers on Tumblr and in fics so I'm sure he's going to push them away...... But yeah he's absolutely sick and the purple is not good. :(

Other than that....

I have more to say but I've put a lot in this post lol. I'll talk more about Sun in my next post.

wooo fnaf Rewritten AU moment

idk why but my FNAF hyperfixation suddenly hit me again idk why or how (probably cuz i came across the songs again and wenrt omg yea woo)

ok so basically this AU will only have the lore of 3 or 2 games only. only few exceptional elements from future games will be added (such as Vanny and other characters possibly).

aaaaaand i'll probably go on with the very classic Rebornica lore (i dont support rebornica but the AU is public domain soooo) and few older theories that, were obviously debunked such as foxy being a good guy actually, Mike being the bite of 87 victim yada yada .

basically:

AU contains lore of 2 or 3 first games (idk about FNAF3 yet but i'll see how it can fit)

-no aftons or whatever, no remnant or anything from the books cuz im a fnaf boomer lmaoooo, just supernatural and spirits posessing robots

-the robots DO have personalities actually but i wont always focus on it

-FNAF 2 comes after FNAF 1 in this AU , for the hhhehehhes

-there are MAINLY about only 7 or 5 kids killed. that is all you'll ever get lmfao.

Not to be a little freak in you inbox, but I have one complaint with the fnaf fandoms theory side and I’d like to point it out. Sorry for the paragraph.

One thing that’s always saddened me in the fnaf fandom is the narrative that William Afton is a good dad, when evidence points to the contrary. I think it genuinely takes back from a lot of theories!!!

Barring even the book lore which points to what kind of person Afton is, he never displays evidence that he’s not abusive. A lot of theories try to give him a “motive” as to why he behaves the way he does, and so automatically place CC’s death as first in the timeline when it just kinda doesn’t line up with everything else.

I mean, everyone places the Funtimes as representative of Aftons family, but they kinda don’t dwell on the fact that they’re more. Aftons own conception of his family? Maybe the reason why they slot in so cleanly with his family members is because they’re literally how the guy views his own family.

Funtime Foxy is obviously a stand-in for Michael, what with the Fox design and all. But Funtime Foxy also sneaks around and gets up to trouble when you’re not looking, freezing up when you catch him. I think that’s indicative of William knowing about Michael’s pranks on his younger brother.

Funtime Freddy is obviously a stand in for the crying child, and his behavior is a lot more concerning when you realize that’s how William views his son. I mean, Funtime Freddy is incredibly erratic and emotional, and needs to be calmed down by a hand puppet he carries around everywhere. Which is coincidentally a rabbit. You know, like his dad. Who put a walkie talkie in his teddy bear. I just don’t think that’s a very kind way of looking at your son!

Baby looks like Elizabeth but is a gigantic clown, and is the most dangerous design out of everyone in the lineup. I always thought it was strange that he’d place his darling daughter as a clown, but now I know it’s just mean.

Ballora has always been placed as Mrs. Afton, but no one’s really known what to do with her as she doesn’t seem to point to anything else. Maybe there’s something to be said about her always having her eyes closed and being transfixed on dancing, I don’t know. Also she has gigantic booba

Afton’s controlled shocks are. Weird. When you consider them from this angle. Like that’s really the only way you can think of keeping your animatronics in line? By potentially frying their oh so precious servos??? Whatever. I just think it’s kind of funny how the theory side of the fandom insists on Afton having started out as a normal guy when all evidence points to the contrary. It’s 3 am

Yeah. While The Silver Eyes does imply he was outwardly friendly pre-murders, that doesn't mean that he was actually a good guy. Those jealousy-worship journals had to come from somewhere

My interpretation of FNAF lore (specific stuff should just be asked on my inbox, cause I'm boiling down my interpretation of it, and this is my basic foundation for a lot of my rewrites too)

In my wonderful imagination FNAF ends at 3, with FNAF 4 acting as complimentary material instead of "The end" of the story (as i believe it's far more satisfying that way) , anything that happens later (FNAF sister location onwards is relegated to my FNAF rewrites and AU's for I find that they just bloat a perfectly good story for no reason and without any consideration of placement within the timeline, isn't that right, the mimic?)

Purple guy is just an employee in my interpretation, it's a lot more believable that he gets away with murder when he's just some random dude instead of the CEO of the whole thing (specially when he's doing it with his own hands) he's very trained with the spring locks suit, and helps other employees get used to them and basically train them to do their mascot stuff, he's basically the man that does everything in the job, it's starting to get near some kid's birthday and they must get ready for it, so they start preparing and stuff, and then foxy bro starts bullying the crying child, every day until the birthday, and the pranks foxy bro starts to escalate with each day, some of them ending up with purple guy getting in trouble, specifically the one where the crying child gets stuck in the parts & service room, times goes on and the birthday comes and the bite of 83 happens, everyone panics and all of that, purple guy ends up getting scolded again and then gets fired for his inability to supervise children, he then blames the loss of his job on the bullies who killed the crying child and the rest is history.

The puppet is the one who stuffs the suits with the bodies of the children (based on the fact that the purple guy literally leaves the bodies of the children out in the open in the mini game, or he puts them in the parts & service room before going away and then the puppet does it's thing, cuz the room in GLGG is very small.)

FNAF 4-2-1-3 happen in that order, you know what happens in those games, it ends in FNAF 3 with the souls being freed, I believe that this backstory for purple guy is good enough to tell the story that FNAF is trying to tell, and ends with an extremely satisfying conclusion, FNAF 4 only serving to give a reason for why the purple guy is doing what he does, without going into the tangled mess that is William's motivation, and without being "The end" of the series (dream theory is stupid, when does the dream end and reality starts back up??) and still leaves purple guy's identity as a Mystery so you can come up with as many names you want for him and back stories, but he still gets what he deserves in the end without making you feel compassion for a dude who doesn't deserve it.

Fav fnaf songs?

It's kinda hard to say, so I'll pick a favorite song from each game (not including any of the living tombstones songs. They are all my favorite. I just feel that's a bit predictable. These also count as recommendations. Check 'em out if you want or if you haven't heard them yet.)

FNAF 1

Fnaf 1 was kinda a difficult choice (once I cut the fnaf song by the living tombstone as an option), my choice was torn between Welcome to Freddy's and this song.

I remembered loving this song when I was young, more specifically the Bonnie version of this, but this one is still good. It's such a staple of the early days of the Fandom, when the lore was simple and the phone guy is the purple guy, was the big theory of the time.

This song does a good job at telling the missing kids story, showing their pain of being trapped in these suits and time passing by as they remain eternal. The inclusions of sounds from in game is also a great touch.

I highly recommend checking out this guys other fnaf songs like Sythetic Agony and Foxys tale, both also very phenomenal songs.

FNAF 2

This one was also close since Fnaf 2 has so many banging fan songs. This one won for me because it's just so fricking timeless. It's such a catchy song, and it's the best kinda ear worm.

The one tied with this one was Behind The Mask, Mechanical instinct won out since this one just has more of a fast-paced, multiple animatronics hunting you down kinda vibe.

It was so hard to choose because fnaf 2 definitely had the most consistent amount of banging fan songs, next to Fnaf 4 and SL.

FNAF 3

This one was kinda hard because fnaf 3 also has quite a few banging songs, but this one just stuck with me in a way that the others haven't been able to do.

Maybe it's the general vibe. Maybe it's the fact it's from purple guy Willie's perspective, I don't know. I do like the way this song characterizes William. It gives off a different vibe than other songs about him. Other songs either do the whole 'I'm an evil man in a bunny suit, mwah haha' or 'wah wah my kids are dead' kinda predictable.

But again, I'm not too sure. This song just wiggled into my brain, and I can't get enough of it.

It was either this or Break My mind. This one won because it also just hits differently. Also, when I was young, it was always hard to find on YouTube. So it means a lot to me.

I love the perspective and tone of this song. It's kinda like sweet dreams by Aviator mixed with I got no time, and I love it. The singing is lovely and the ending is impactful, if you've never listened to this one please give it a listen your ears will thank me, I hope.

I was thinking of picking the fnaf 4 song by MiatriSs, but I wanted to keep this a one artist per game song. For variety ✨️👐✨️

This does such a wonderful job at conveying the funtimes experience in the facility and the rage they feel being in this repetive cycle of pain and suffering. As well as the desire to be free and having Ennard being what was needed to complete it.

NOT LABYRINTH⁉️, yeah, yeah, I could have picked that song as iconic as it is. It's an obvious choice, and I would have picked it... if this one didn't exist. This one just perfectly visualizes FNAF 6. Every part of it and I love it. Also The Stupendium is just good, can you blame me.

All the parts are wonderful and well put together, and it's just such a wonderful song, and the chorus is a banger I can't help but dance to it

This one, RAAAA BEST THING. while there are not a lot of UCN songs, this is the one. Oh one you should not have killed, my child, my baby, my son, my daughter, my- what ever the fuck you are. This song just slaps so hard.

also, this always just stook out to me. I also like Cassidy, so that could play a part in me liking this song. But it's just so good, and nightcove has a lot of other good songs. Check 'em out if you haven't.

This song is just fire, I was tempted to pick Freaks by RocketGaming, but that songs chorus can linger a bit too long. This song, though, is the ear worm that just keeps on wiggling.

This one I really can't describe, so you're just gonna have to listen to it yourself, and just understand why I like it by listening.

Vanny, my beloved. While I really hate Security Breach as a game (played for myself, hated it), that's a whole other can of worms not related to this post.

This song is a wonderful piece of art, I love the vibe. the way it portrays vanny is wonderful, having the fucked up killer part on the surface and the 'GOD HELP ME THERE IS A FURRY CONTROLLING MY THOUGHTS' it's wonderful.

I love this song so much, like man. It's got such an addictive chorus, and the rap parts with the mimic are so well written, and all the lines feel so cleverly done.
