Celebrating the 15th anniversary of Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon with other artists and writers whose hearts have been touched by this game, organized by @lunarhillfunland!!

I think this is the first time I’ve actually…drawn fanart for this game, despite playing it YEARS ago when it first came out in the US. I had always been so drawn to the creative direction of this game, so I’m glad to finally have a tribute to it.

My theme was Lotus Flower, I hope you enjoy my take on it!

Love turns a man fragile to the utmost level of vulnerability.

Crow’s outfit has to be the most extra, of course.

Shiho Akira’s ghost-guide as he tries to find more survivors. She lacks a filter and gets a kick out of teasing him. She doesn’t talk about herself much, but she seems to enjoy being a ghost. At least, she says it’s better now than it used to be.

Red Haired Girl A girl around the same age as Akira but less willing to find other survivors. She keeps Akira at a distance, but he’s determined to catch up to her. Part of her seems open to the idea, and he holds onto that.

Crow A mischievous young man who proclaims justice yet seems to thrive off antagonizing Akira. Despite how forward he can be, there’s something else hiding underneath, and Akira takes it upon himself to find out what that might be.

MONA A curious mechanical assistant that can’t help but fuss over Akira’s well-being and keep constant conversations going. He’s fairly insecure and worried that he’ll be replaced as soon as Akira finds another human, but he does everything he can to keep Akira safe and moving forward.

Akira Due to the loss of his guardian, he’s off to seek out other survivors. Far less innocent and trusting than Seto, Akira has a habit of striking deals with anyone he encounters due to past experiences leaving him guarded. Despite this, at his core, all he wants is companionship, and even though these connections often end in heartache, he continues reaching out for them.

Lala Former bartender at the abandoned hotel who keeps to herself despite being one of only few survivors. There’s evidence that the place used to be lively with many guests, but those days are long gone. It’s hard to believe the reclusive woman was once such an open and welcoming spirit.

Merchant (Jose) A mysterious lad who resembles an egg. There’s no predicting when he’ll show up, he’s always happy to do business. Though he’ll take payment in whatever manner he can, he has a strong preference for flowers.

Maruki A mysterious man who was involved in the Glass Cage Project. Through his experiences, his once positive outlook has been distorted as he’s come to understand just how cruel people can be, and it’s this despair that leads to his justification of reenacting the project.

[Not Pictured] Boss The old man who took Akira in when he was 6-7 years old. He kept his distance the best as he could, and in the end, the best he felt he could offer Akira was the hope that he wouldn’t turn out like him.
