(image: meme where thoughts in the outline of a head are translated to a word bubble outside the outline. in this case, the thoughts are "I lost everything I loved back then, I almost ruined the world, I lost Ingo when I was supposed to take him home -> ??? -> I got dumped, I guess")

where are the men who yearn. where are the men who ponder. where are the men with depth. where are the men who find parallels. where are the men who love from their barest instinct. where are the men with whimsy. where are the men with certainty. where are the men who will cut their own heart out in face of your honour. where are the men

[...] we experienced the phenomenon that lovers who are not yet lovers recognise; they are not touching, yet they feel the charge. The space in between is filled with energy. The spark. The dance. The movement.

Within the abbey full of ghosts, Copia is haunted in a way far more worse than a regular spectre.
Have some of my ghost au where Terzo is a little bit dead but Copia’s ming can’t quite let him go
More info under the cut:
Not long after the execution — an event Copia, although unwillingly and unknowingly, was a catalyst of — the phantom starts following him. Only on the sidelines of his sight at first but ever present still. Whatever it was — Copia couldn’t tell up until it appeared in the mirror, right behind him, granting him a sickening smile and commenting on his smudged eye with that rich velvet accent. Terzo, or whatever fragments of him that were left in Copia’s mind, is now his constant companion and, as he likes to call himself, “best compadre Copia ever had”.
Always ready to comment on every misstep, every stutter and awkward interaction, Terzo is a figment of Copia’s own imagination and self-loathing, a quintessence of every self-destructive thought, always plain and merciless in his observations. Whenever Copia feels like a decent performer, there is always an unreachable ideal near him, ready to remind about that one time he got the job by killing his boss.
Terzo, as a fragment of Copia’s unconsciousness, can appear differently depending on Copia’s mind state. The worse it is — the more fucked up Terzo’s appearance is. Most of the time he is like Copia remembered him — perfect in every way but as Copia’s mental state declines, his companion gets more aggressive and vengeful, his clothes torn and bloody, so Cardinal could never forget the reason he can frolic around on stage.
Copia only hopes that his search for that resurrection spell will free him of that curse.
*Here Terzo and Copia already had a thing going on before Terzo was killed. Copia does not cope well.

[…] but I have never ‘seen’ a ghost, only felt their emphatic presence. I do want to stress this; there is no vagueness about it. Ghosts are intangible but they are not vague.
