Being told he was no fun for not wanting to decorate come any holiday never really bothered him, but given that his mood for the holidays this year was on the happier side, Ken caved and took to decorating both inside and outside for Leyla, knowing how much she likes all of this. While he didn't go all out, there still was lightup deer and so many baubles and bows...it felt like a lot. But at the end, he was surprised with how not-terrible it turned out.

Before Jason makes his debut as Red Hood, he goes apartment hunting.
And the thing about Gotham is, all of the apartments that would make for good safe houses, are safe houses. The Bat’s safe houses. If Jason wants to set up shop, he’s got to get creative. This means being willing to look the other way about some things. Namely, living with other people.
Jason gets a roommate.
Sure, he’d found a couple of spots that fit some of the criteria he used for making safe houses, but not all apartments were equal. And having a semi-functioning civilian cover was useful. Sometimes.
All this to say that Jason responded to a craigslist post of some guy looking for a roommate. The post was written well enough, decent grammar and a fair enough price. Unlike some of the places he’d “toured.”
He has to trudge up a few flights of stairs to get to the place, because roof access is always high on the priority list, and knocks on the door. He waits a few minutes, hears someone check the peephole, and then the sound of at least five separate locks being undone.
With the door finally open, he gets a good look at the guy’s face. Too good of a look, actually.
Because the man who opens it is Dick Grayson.

The newest addition to Ken and Leyla's life, Cat was taken in because Leyla fell in love with it at the shelter and Ken couldn't say no to her. Used to be a skittish little thing but now walks around like he owns the place, stealing not only Ken's side of the bed but also Leyla's attention. (No, he's so not annoyed, why do you ask?) Though sometimes Ken and Cat just stare at each other for minutes on end for no real reason or purpose, in the end Ken does like Cat and Cat likes him back, sometimes, definitely not more than Leyla though. ETA about the Hurricane Cat
(Repeating this here for those who may not look back at [or have seen] the earlier post with the video of her rescue:)
From David Barcanas, who went under the car to get her: "Millie is an adult female cat we found up near FGCU near Ft.Myers FL. I dropped her off at the Blue Pearl Pet Hospital where they confirmed she does not have a microchip. Docs say she does not seem to be feral and is well mannered meaning she may have slipped away from her home. She’ll go to Lee County once the storm subsides and if she’s not claimed the adoption process will start and she’ll be moving to D.C. with me. I miss her already."
