‎ "back, tom." max commands the dog, who obediently steps backwards, his threatening growl diminished into quiet panting as he returns to his previous position laying on the ground. max then reroutes his attention to his unexpected visitor standing by his door. "and fuck you." he pushes himself off his seat, though with the amount of effort it takes him, it feels more like trying to cancel out his weight against the force of gravity. his chair creaks at the movement, a sound that could very well be mistaken for his joints. he takes a few steps towards the mini fridge standing on a small table under the tv. "you're under my roof now, foster. show some fucking respect." he means this with some dubious affection, as he would towards a hard-headed nephew, of which he has none. his nieces have been nothing but angels. he misses them dearly. "here. you look like shit." grabbing a plastic water bottle from the fridge, he holds it out for foster to take. "now, will you tell me what you need the fire escape for or am i gonna have to sic tom on you?" he only means it half-heartedly, of course.

The office was definitely high-end, and considering the kind of establishment it existed in, Foster felt vaguely like he'd just stepped onto the set of some gangster movie. He even glanced around for a table somewhere laden with bricks of unnamed elicit substances, like there might be a guy sorting them while another counted out a briefcase full of cash. He definitely needed to stop watching The Sopranos... Regardless, sticking around seemed like a very bad idea; Foster might've come out looking for a fight tonight, but he definitely wasn't looking for a bullet to the kneecap...

He turned as if to go, but the man's gruff voice stopped him in his tracks. It reminded him of his father, authoritative yet mocking, and Foster was just drunk enough that the shithead delinquent in him couldn't help but rise to the challenge. "Would that we were so lucky, huh?" he chuckled. "Might liven the place up a bit..."

The Bow, Calgary (No. 1)

The Bow is a 158,000-square-metre (1,700,000 sq ft) skyscraper in downtown Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The 236 metre (774 ft) building was the tallest in Calgary between July 8, 2010, when it surpassed the Suncor Energy Centre, and May 11, 2016, when it was exceeded by Brookfield Place. The Bow is currently the second tallest office tower in Calgary and the third tallest in Canada outside Toronto. The Bow is also considered the start of redevelopment in Calgary's Downtown East Village. It was completed in 2012 and was ranked among the top 10 architectural projects in the world of that year according to Azure magazine. It was built for oil and gas company Encana, and was the headquarters of its successors Ovintiv and Cenovus.

EnCana Corporation (now Ovintiv), North America's second largest natural gas producer, announced plans for the high-rise in 2006. Early designs suggested that the project would consist of a complex of towers (perhaps two or more) over two blocks. The initial proposal was for a tower of 300 m (980 ft), which would have made it the second tallest building in Canada. Early sources suggested a two tower complex spanning the entire surface of two blocks, with a second tower of 40 to 50 stories connected at sixth stories level over 6 Avenue. Official statements declared that the tower will be 58 stories, or 247 metres (810 ft) tall.

The management company in charge of the project was Texas-based Matthews Southwest, with architectural services furnished by UK-based Foster + Partners and Zeidler Partnership Architects of Calgary.

Aeon's Domain

Creates a domain within a radius of 100 meters from the user wherein the environment can be changed to whatever the user desires; it can be an exact replica of where the user is, or a completely different setting. Madison can change the environment to her will and in a matter of seconds. When this ability is in effect, the environment may turn into a shade of red or be immediately fine-tuned to replicate an environment.

This domain entraps any being in its radius, essentially "transporting" them into a parallel world/environment that the user creates. Non-stand users can also be confined within the domain but once Madison sees or senses someone who may be in danger, she can bring them out of the domain ala quickly "vaporizing" them into thin air. Madison can also use the environment against a target whether that would mean manipulating conditions in that setting such as weather or temperature, or using elements from the surroundings directly against the target.

WEAKNESSES:

The 100m radius does not move with Madison. Once she sets up the domain in a certain spot, Scarlet Aeon will stay hidden there and be rendered immobile to act as the energy for maintaining the domain. If an enemy detects the location of her stand, they may inflict damage on Scarlet Aeon. This will then endanger both Madison and the domain's state.

Anyone in the domain (ally, enemy, or civilian) is trapped and can only escape it if Madison either: deactivates it, an ally asks Madison to take them out of the domain, she takes the person out of the domain, or if she takes severe/life-endangering damage.

If she takes someone out of the domain, she cannot bring them back in. This is because the domain acts as a world/universe/environment separate of that from which they left.

God Player

Madison can either boost another stand user's power/ability or choose to nullify it.

WEAKNESSES:

There are several conditions that need to be met in order for this ability to work.

1: It can only be done INSIDE the domain.

2: Madison needs to have a clear understanding of the stand user's ability. Trying to nullify or power up the stand's ability will not work if she doesn't completely grasp the logic of its powers.

3: Finally, both the stand and its stand user must be present in the domain.

Cardinal Judgment

An ability used to diminish a person's willpower through psychological means and coerce them into giving whatever the user desires be it information, material possessions, or something else. These means may include extreme guilt-tripping, intimidation, mental torture, and more. Madison uses this for psychological fights and interrogations, diving into the target's mind and using their repressed fears, traumas, and weaknesses against them.

WEAKNESSES:

As this is a mental battle with the target's psychological condition, Madison must have a strong mental state. If she cannot control her emotions and state of mind her power may turn against her and provide an open avenue for the enemy to mentally strike back.

Overall Evaluation of Abilities: Scarlet Aeon's abilities are mostly support-based and attacks the enemy psychologically, hence the stand may not provide much in terms of physical and close-range combat.

Vectors are telekinetic energy weapons that manifest as "arms" and are used for various purposes by Madison. They appear to merely hover around her back and are invisible to people, Stand Users included. One can only feel the vectors should they be directly hit by them or that one can hear them if they consider the sound of air rushing when the vectors move.

Madison uses her vectors to:

As her Stand becomes immobile when using Aeon's Domain, Madison uses her vectors to fight back or defend herself against any attacks targeted at her.

(5/15/2023) Finally updated this profile after almost a year? Sheesh.... Well! You at the very least know a bit about Madison's family now. I hope to disclose more of their background in the coming months! Friends who know a bit about the lore would know it's a Lot of Pain™️ but we'll get her a happy ending eventually once I introduce her inclusion in SDC's plot! Hello friends! My dear friend Nervy @nervously-spouting-poetry and I have been working on this Lexthan Urban Fantasy long fic for a while now, so I figured I might as well post it on tumblr too! It mainly features Werewolf!Ethan/Vampire!Lex friends to lovers, though the CCRP gang and Zombie!Paul/Witch!Emma are there as well. It could best be described as a romantic horror comedy- it’s funny and lowkey romantic (ft Simp/Women Respecter Ethan) but also has some dark, angsty moments. (Rated M for body horror, mainly from werewolf transformations, and some blood)

Dante dribbled the ball by his feet, focusing on getting a good rhythm which of course only led to his brain connecting the beat of the ball to some pretend drums in his head and adding some nice precaution to amplify the sound. A beat that was partially in his head, but felt so present in the moment that his head began to wave. Movement then joined his jam. “Yes, around, and she’s fine. You know Phoebe. She won’t allow very many people in, and I’m pretty much at the bottom of that barrel, so to me she seems alright.” he ended with a shrug. He and Phoebe weren’t the closest, a bit more strained after the whole Lincoln fiasco like many other friends, so he couldn’t be too sure on how she had honestly been. Regardless, he knew her to be strong and adaptable so he could see her getting over this with ease after the pain lessens. Dante didn’t think that was information Foster really wanted to hear though, so he kept those thoughts to himself. “How are you?” he asked instead as he took his first shot into the hoop. He didn’t know about the crowd Foster kept around him, if any, but he figured people didn’t go asking him about his feelings so why not do so himself? There was less horror when opening up to strangers, and they might as well be that.

Foster had never been all that good at trusting people. Phoebe was a bit of an outlier in that respect. It wasn't that he didn't know people could be good or kind, but more like... regardless of ability, Foster had always operated under the deeply held belief that he was undeserving of people's better natures. He knew what to think if someone was being a dick; it was kindness that always made him question a person's motives. He thought, most confusing of all, maybe Dante didn't have one; maybe he really had just offered Foster a game for no other reason than he could. The fact that he clearly didn't know any specifics about the breakup and didn't care to find out settled him just a little, even if Foster was traitorously feeling a little desperate for any news about how Phoebe was doing. "You see her?" he asked, pretending like it wasn't a prying question. Like it was just one that popped into his head and he didn't really care about the answer.

Brian W. Foster just yelled and is playing some kingpin kinda guy, and it is SCARY. He is being serious and RADIATING a kinda aura that makes even the players uneasy. He apologized about the deaths of 2 character’s friends, and when he said he was “certain they’d never make the same mistake they made”, the camera switched to Travis and looked scared to respond, just turning to Marisha hoping she’d say something so Brian would stop looking at him. I don’t think anyone was ready for Brian to be serious and it’s..... unnatural

Mount Erebus is the most active volcano in Antarctica. Standing at an elevation of 12,444 ft (3,794 m), it's the second tallest volcano in Antarctica and the southernmost active volcano in the world. Erebus is located on Ross Island, about 25 miles (40 km) north of McMurdo Station, the main U.S. research base in Antarctica. It's classified as a stratovolcano and is thought to have been active, nearly continuously, since the early 1970s. Most eruptions have been quite small. Photo taken on January 30, 2005.
