crazy but um I can’t stop thinking about polycule Gemma + Domi and Marcnaia (honestly they need a ship name idk how much of a ring Gemiziarcnaia (Gemizia + Marcnaia) has to it) but this is just my word vomit trying to come up with how this all goes down.

So I’m thinking Pecco (bisexual, experimented like five years ago) has chronic #ILoveMyWife syndrome and feels insane catholic guilt everytime he thinks of another man. Not because of internalised homophobia, he just feels like he should be 100% dedicated to his beautiful wife 24/7 or he’s a failure. So when Marc rocks up in the box looking like a whole meal he’s got white noise running all the time and cannotttt cope, going a little crazy.

In poetic contrast, bisexual power couple Gemma and Marc get their freak on and are used to having a third, both men and women. Gemma and Domi become friends first and like close, close. When they go out and celebrate, Gemma and Domi stick together, dance together etc

Then they’re on the dance floor and suddenly Marcccc is dancing with Gemma and Domi, and it’s not like oh he’s dancing withhhhh Gemma while Domi is just there, no no. Don’t you forget, the girls were dancing together first. It’s the three of them dancing togetherrrrrr, Gemma splitting her attention between Domi and Marc.

And Pecco, watching from the sidelines is like “I should hate this, my teammate is dancing with my wife but I don’t???? And my wife is looking at Gemma like that and I don’t even care…. I even like that???” But he cantttt go as far to admit that because being sexually attracted to his own teammate is one thing but being sexuallly attracted to his teammates girlfriend, even if it’s in tandem with his wife, is a wholeeee other thing.

Anyway, I think at this point Gemma and Marc, like I said experienced freaks, established like months ago that they both think Domi and Pecco are hot but don’t know if that’s actually an option to manifest in anything. And because Gemma and Domi become really close, Marc is like “Gemmmaaaaaa, they’re hot as fuck and Domi is super cool can you find out for us??? For me baby?? Pls pls??” And so Gemma must somehow casually mention to Domi that her and Marc are both bisexual and sometimes pick up thirds together and Domi mentally dials the fuck in.

Cause Domi, now she’s no moron, she knows if she plays the cards right she could have the hook up of the century, and she also knows that Pecco thinks he’s soooo slick whenever Marc is around but Domi knows the red faced where’s the nearest confession box look like the back of her hand. So she says to Pecco “Hey I know how you look at Marc-“

And Pecco stumbles into like the most insane apology, pledging for life to be a better husband. Domi’s like no you idiot it’s Hot and Pecco short circuits.

Cue healthy conversation about sexuality which Pecco barely struggles through, and then Domi brings up that Marc and Gemma have threesomes semi regularly, BOOM, second tower.

And Pecco’s like, “With other women?”

“Well yes but men too.”

And it’s alllllll he can’t think about, doesn’t even clock in the rest of the conversation, too busy thinking about Marc and Gemma togetherrrr and with Domi and with HIMM, losing his mind.

So Domi just lets that sit with him. Lets it marinate. She knows she’s planted the right seeds. And sure enough, some time later he’s like, “Okay yes I’m sexually attracted to Marc and Gemma and You and like… I need that carnally, please please, pretty please with a cherry on top work your magic”

So now both Gemma and Domi have their boys’s green light and the next time they’re with each other, CIA style let’s do some business. So they arrange everything, just a hook up yknow, casual.

When Marc finds out that Pecco and Domi are game he’s unleashed. Comes up to Pecco in the half deserted Ducati hospitality, “Hola guapo!” leans in, *I saw you across the bar and dig your vibe* joke jajajajaja-ing to himself as he sits down and puts his feet in Pecco’s lap.

And I think Marc’s confidence is what calms Pecco down about this whole thing, like okay yes all consenting parties here are comfortable and this is normal, let’s stop freaking out about this.

And cue crazyyyyyy hot sex, life changing, mind altering. Then everyonessss like, fuck are feelings involved, and while the three of them may have to hold Pecco’s hand while he experiences his sexual revolution, I don’t think anyyyy of them can safely navigate or admit that romantic feelings have now entered the building and it gets messssyyyyyyyyy

4. what did you name your hero and partner characters? and why? THIS TIME i'm gonna talk about my rescue team, specifically for rtdx

freaking baring my soul here these sketches are ROUGH

they are Team Lucky, Finn (feraligatr, partner) and Ryme (sylveon, hero). they are alternate versions of my blue rescue team of the same names, except finn stayed a croconaw and ryme became a jolteon. i created them when i was 14, so they are my second oldest pmd characters and are over 10 years old now (wild). i remember the night i was thinking of their names— i knew i wanted to call the totodile Finn cuz i just liked it for a totodile, and i wanted their names to have a ring together, so then Ryme just popped into my head and stuck lol. finn & ryme!

(a bit of a tangent here but i was pretty proud of coming up w the name Ryme bc i hadn’t ever seen it before, and then years later Pokemon proceeds to use that name TWICE in canon— with Ryme City in detective pikachu, and then the ghost gym leader from scarlet and violet ! and i was like bitch the fuck! i INVENTED that name! lol jokes aside in a way it is validating to see that name used in canon.)

ANYWAY for rtdx, i played as eevee and totodile again and decided to slightly tweak their personalities and evolution choices in order to think of it as an alternate timeline of sorts. also they r pining for each other in this timeline :3c my singular heroxpartner team... hmm i wonder why Ryme became a sylveon... (she does not know why.)

7. how do you interpret the future trio's relationship to each other? extracting my brain from the fanon as much as i can, i think they would all be very trusted allies, if not good friends. i wouldn't consider it a huge stretch at all for the three of them to stay a team– even if just temporarily– and travel the grass continent offering their wealth of knowledge and skills to assist the scattered surviving pokemon and restore the land to a thriving and beautiful place to be. the sableye would join their efforts too!

BUT. but but but. ☝️ i would love it if the trio formed a permanent team. and the polycule headcanons are very fun :)

clarifications/my vision:

- Staroba: They get married some years after what happened and they're both healing quite a lot. It took them a long time to actually confess to eachother and even longer to propose. They're hopelessly devoted to eachother.

- Starlet/FeatherStar: Queerplatonic and unlabeled, currently crushing on eachother but both of them are too dense to realize it. They don't even know what they are but what matters is that they love eachother okay? I'm thinking that they became quite close after the ending and... well.

- Corn Yaoi: I feel like Starlo and Dalv might be crushing on eachother but they also have zero clue of what they are currently. It's queer as fuck though, believe me. They're both too shy to actually talk about it though.

- Dalvroba: pretty..... p... prett...y lady..... (lov... lovely.... lovely guy.....). They're both still going through a lot of things but it is quite obvious that they do love eachother a lot. I think they'd adore eachother to be honest. ALSO there's a lot of potential coming from them trying to know eachother since they're pretty secretive people who are trying not to be anymore.

-Dalvlet/FeatherFang: there's quite an appeal to me with them on the fact that they're polar opposites (dalv being a pretty shy guy/ex-hermit of the ruins, martlet being a social butterfly and ex-soldier) but also just the way she treated him in the ending is very sweet and understanding. Everyone can tell they want to hold eachother but they're just Bi Panic.

Honestly there are so many characters who are grossly mischaracterized by fandom that this is hard to say. I'm going to go with the most popular and most mischaracterized, which is Sephiroth.

This man all but asks permission to have opinions in CC:

Sephiroth: I would prefer not to believe it, but… Zack: Then don't believe it. Sephiroth: Very well, I won't.

He also seeks permission to leave the company:

Sephiroth: […] Depending on what happens, I may abandon Shinra. Zack: [says nothing, but looks at Sephiroth with obvious trepidation, clearly uncomfortable with the option] Sephiroth: …Until then, I'll remain loyal to SOLDIER.

When Zack doesn't respond affirmatively, Sephiroth drops the prospect of leaving and never brings it up again.

This man is not socially confident, nor is he remotely dominant in his behavior. He's not eloquent or debonair, he's quiet and awkward and has been brought up in such a way that he's all but incapable of making decisions for himself. We can very easily blame Hojo for this, controlling and demanding as he is, but for some reason the fandom portrays pre-Nibelheim Sephiroth as some sort of Daddy Dom sex god in spite of the fact that he almost certainly died a virgin.

Where do I even start? President Shinra is not Cloud's father. Glenn is also not Cloud's father. The identity of Cloud's father doesn't matter at all, actually! Hojo did not sexually assault Lucrecia to produce Sephiroth. Vincent did not "abandon Sephiroth" to Hojo. Gast was not a good person. Just because the Cetra may actually have been self-important pieces of shit as a culture does not mean Jenova is secretly good. Sephiroth was not born in 1984. This is all extremely stupid.

💛 · What is a popular ship you just can't get behind, and why?

Censored to keep it out of searches, the two that I avoid like the plague are Va|enwind and AG$ZC.

The first because it really bothers me that C!d is canonically abusive toward Shera for half a decade, still manages to get his act together enough that they get married post-Meteorfall, and then Va|enwind shippers straight up act like she either doesn't exist or like she somehow deserved the way he treated her. I've literally discussed this with people and had them assert that nobody likes Shera anyway so it doesn't matter how he treated her, she's "barely relevant to his character" and "easy to ignore." Multiple people have told me that she'll probably be removed from the FF7R series altogether because she just doesn't matter.

I mean, Shera is in the OG, in OTWTAS, and it's revealed that C!d named his new airship after her in AC, and she's mentioned multiple times in Dirge, but sure! Not important at all! The dev team didn't even cut Johnny but they'll absolutely cut C!D'S FUCKING WIFE because she makes him look bad and gets in the way of a popular noncanon ship! That's definitely how this works!

I don't like the Big Polycule because I don't think the character dynamics actually work all together, and most people who write it do so in such a way that everyone seems to be in high school for some reason. Like working for Shinra is the same as high school? As someone who has worked in a corporate setting as an adult, and has family who have been in the military and law enforcement, I find this whole trope to be really strange and it puts me right off.

Further, even if we ignore the canon that Cloud wasn't even on active duty until after both Genesis and Angeal had defected, hadn't even seen either of them in person until Modeoheim (where Zack held Genesis back so Cloud could pursue Hollander and then Angeal beat the shit out of the poor kid to stop said pursuit), and didn't meet Sephiroth until the Nibelheim mission, there's still a lot about it that grinds my gears. This is not shade toward people who don't care about this kind of thing, but I'm personally uncomfortable with the concept of two teenagers (Cloud is 14-16 and Zack is 16-18 prior to Nibelheim) being in a sexual relationship with three adult men who are up to 10 years older and in positions of power over them, particularly how this is always treated in-story like a great thing that is no big deal. If that power dynamic were ever played with or discussed in any way it might be different—I can appreciate some dangerous or unhealthy relationship dynamics in fiction—but I've literally never seen a Big Polycule shipper address it at all. Between that and the characterization mismatch, it just rankles me really bad. (Also, while I'm not particularly squicked out by the fact that Genesis and Angeal are canonically related, I feel like they had some issues with that, and it would definitely fuck up the sexual dynamic there.)

💚 · What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?

You already talked about how Vincent is fucking hilarious, and I've talked about it myself in the past, so I won't soapbox about that. Honestly I think that's secondary to the thing that I feel everyone gets the most wrong about Vincent, which is that he's no longer in love with Lucrecia postcanon.

His entire character arc over the course of the series, from BC to Dirge, is him learning that he was wrong about her, she made mistakes, it's her fault he's so fucked up to begin with, and then forgiving her for it. It's him setting aside his idea of her and seeing who she really was, looking past the brilliance of which he speaks so fondly to see the mistakes that only he is still "alive" to pay for—and in doing so, reaching an understanding so deep that he's willing to give her the absolution and release that no force on Gaia can offer to him.

He thanks her for saving him, because he understands that's what she was trying to do, and he is grateful that even if she was never in love with him (which she wasn't) she did love him enough to do that. He's grateful that she loved him enough to throw away years of her life in the attempt to save him, just like he lost his entire life in his attempt to save her. They're foils of each other, but they're over. At the end of Dirge, he thanks her and he leaves, walking into the light for the first time in decades, free of the self-loathing he'd been burdened with by his misunderstanding of Lucrecia.

I think it's a beautiful, bittersweet story, but Vincent's ability to move forward afterward makes it more sweet than bitter. By portraying Vincent as still every bit as obsessive and love-blind as he was up until the events of Dirge, folks do a huge disservice to his character arc. I don't think it's impossible for him to fall for her again postcanon, if she somehow returned to the world of the living (which she won't, she's very clear that the majority of her spirit has been eroded by that point and there's no way she could come back), but it wouldn't be the same relationship. He still loves her, I have no doubt of that, but he's not in love with her anymore. That's the whole point of his character arc. It's only way he can be free, and he deserves it.

Genesis. Genesis Genesis Genesis. I'm not gonna wax on too much here because I already have a fucking manifesto so I won't go into too much here, but Genesis is only the antagonist of CC because Zack is with Shinra, he's not the looming, manipulative liar that people portray him as in the slightest. He doesn't actually lie, like, at all. That's the problem. He is so brutally honest it ruins his relationships with literally everyone he's ever loved, because he can't fathom someone not wanting to know the truth. That's not a moral failing, that's a misunderstanding of emotional processing—because he's autistic as hell and nobody ever wants to talk about it.

He's described by Gackt himself as being "a sweetheart," the way he dresses indicates that he's used to fighting in very close-quarters while everyone else aims to keep as much distance as possible, he constantly puts himself down while elevating his loved ones, and he's not the one responsible for the accident that ruined everything.

And yet. Somehow. Bad guy forever. Okay.

Oh also Rebirth's ending was phenomenal and I'm sorry that it didn't go how people wanted it to go, but it's still exactly what it should have been for this point in the story. Sorry.

This is...difficult. Almost all the major characters in the series are integral to the story in some capacity, so removing any of them would make it something else altogether. Yuffie could be removed from the OG without affecting the plot, but she couldn't be scrapped from later titles, so that's out. The main party member I'd be most personally invested in removing would be C!d because his backstory is very triggering to me as a survivor of domestic abuse, but that would break the story. I dunno how to answer this one—just because the character isn't integral in every title or I don't like them doesn't mean they should be removed. The series I love wouldn't be the same without them. I think they can all stay.

finally finished the profile for the danseiroido!! this took way too long just because drawing anime headshot is my biggest nightmare... and then ended up not even looking That anime LOL... i've already had a few comics up in the tag (search em to read!) but. a brief intro is that i basically just made them idols (somewhat) and threw them in the same boygroup to write sitcom/4-koma slice of life random jokes, as i always do! they also share the same universe with my entire vocaloid neighborhood setup (but this will - might - be for another day)

there isnt a deep overarching plot as for now, its just daily lives of a boygroup that doesnt really do anything idol-like and occasionally featuring others around them from the vocal synth ville. oh and idk if i can call them a polycule because they dont really think or operate that way But! i do want all of them to fool around and have their own "ship moment" (if you want to call it that? i dont really label these things and i want to write it that way) tldr they all fuck one another. every single ship in the group canon (EXCEPT the obvious anyone x len. timeout for him he got his ass kicked out whenever they do it...)

my concept/idea for it (not much tbh this is just me rediscovering my love for vocaloid - though one can argue it never went away - and started make up random shits for them so its pretty much spontaneous and not a serious project or anything) is a parody of sort on stereotypical otome/bl genres and boygroups and anime tropes and obviously the vocaloid fandom/history. but i dont think i know enough about bl nor anime nor boygroups so at the end of the day its just guys hanging out XD hm i should just tag my other vocaloid stuff something else too considering its an elaborated world now, with these guys in it, but... that... really is for another day...

• Junkions in my mind are so crazy with the public displays of affection it’s wild. They’re hugging and kissing and dancing with total strangers in TF1986, you’re telling me they aren’t going ham on each other? I don’t have to repeat myself about the planet-wide polycule thing with Wreck-Gar the leader at the top of the pecking order, but I do think that the hivemind mentality may have ramifications for Wreckrod as a ship. By that I mean, I think Wreck’s very special friendship with Hot Rod may also translate to the rest of the clan. If Hot Rod had to say it himself, “This is my boyfriend, and my boyfriends one hundred thousand sparkmates who protect me with their lives.” I have very complex thoughts about how the Junkions function in general and how they came about, as well as the viability of them not having access to Wreck for long periods of time, but I’ve found ways to let the Junkions continue on as normal while their leader goes off on silly adventures with his pal. That way is, they have set work schedules planned millennia in advance. They’ll be just fine for a couple of years, but it might cause some unexpected sparkache in Wreck to be gone for too long.

• Going in with my favourite — When they first met and Hot Rod gave him the universal greeting, Wreck had absolutely no fucking idea what it meant. Like, it would be so ridiculously funny if his recollection of their first meeting was essentially — he saw a really handsome red and orange robot talk utter gibberish right to his face and thought “wow fr?? You’re saying total nonsense rn?????? That’s crazy of you let’s be best friends forever and ever and ever”. A whole relationship built on stupidity <3

• I’m always thinking about that dip they do when they’re dancing… Why’d you do that, Roddy? Why’d you cradle that giant manifold robot in ur arms and dip him ballroom-dance-style like that? A question I’ll never have an answer to, but one that I like to think about often…

• Oh? An absolute banger nickname headcanon? Wreck calls Hot Rod “Rodney” because why wouldn’t a cockney TV-talking robot name his new bestie after the bloke off Only Fools and Horses? Way easier to say that over “Rodimus Prime” at the very least. Not to mention, like, how absolutely drop-dead adorable is that for a nickname? C’mon now… It’s SO cute. They meet up again after a long time apart at some Council of Worlds ambassador meeting, everything has been so formal and respectable so far, and out bounds this Junkion who is so excited he’s shouting the silliest human-orientated nickname for a Prime. What a goober. No social decorum. Probably tackle-hugs him too. If he’s gonna do that to a total stranger in Collect and Save (TFLegends 2004) then I can’t see why he wouldn’t absolutely knock his bestie to the ground in front of every diplomat in the galaxy.

• In G1 S3, when Wreck shows up again for the first time in the cartoon, Ultra Magnus has no idea what he’s talking about (for obvious reasons, bro is talking TV…). But not only does Rodimus understand him perfectly, he can translate! Bilingual king moment for Roddy, but also I like the idea that they actually chat over comms all the time and Rodimus has got really good at understanding TV-Talk, though maybe with a little bit of help from Kup as well, since he also knows a few phrases here and there. Maybe he “studies” TV as well so he can expand his vocabulary for his buddy? I bet on trips to Cybertron it can get a little awkward or distressing when no one understands what Wreck is trying to say, but Roddy is there coming in clutch to translate.

• I think it would be cute if all the Junkions developed a sort of shyness to Cybertronians after a while. It becomes a little too obvious when you hang out with Autobots all the time that your frame is just spare parts and scrap metal, so Wreck likes to be in motorcycle-mode more often than not. That’s okay though, because being his partner’s off-road ride to anywhere means they’re always together on adventures. I think it would be silly if we get a couple centuries in and Rodimus’ current companion group don’t even realise that his motorcycle is a sentient bot. Like, oh, isn’t it weird that our captain sleeps in the garage with his motorcycle? Isn’t it weird that he speaks to it and pets it and gave it a name? They probably assume the TV-talk is quite literally just radio babble that happens to occasionally line up with what Rodimus is saying. That’ll be a fun surprise for everyone when suddenly this big ol’ Junkion appears and starts manhandling their leader.

Page 913 - Prepare for... Trouble?

So I think that this is the first time Akleja has spoken since she has been in the comic. Howling at Avanti doesn't count. Of course she and Vigr are proud of what they've done, but then this next panel with Ronja and Rogio come up.

She flat out admits that she knows that Ranach's target isn't the capital and I just shook my head. It would be one thing if she didn't know what Ranach was up to, but the fact that she does makes her look like a dumbass. They might not like the Capital, but I'm sure that you've heard "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". Why in gods name would she just turn her back on an ally? Much less one that has great numbers?

I'm not giving a pass for Solar Stag at all, but both of them are in desperate need of help. Deal with the immediate threat, and then work on the rest. This is why how Solar Stag was handled in the previous panels was jarring and didn't make much sense. No competent political ambassador would have handled the matter like that.

Speaking of issues, Roamer and Kargo feel the need to put a guard out for Diarko. I understand why they felt the need, but if anything the guards should be out patrolling the area with more dogs instead of worrying about the cub. Also this is an indication that if they need this level of security, maybe Diarko should go back to the Shiverfall Tribe? They are much more 'prepared' than Ronja and have the numbers. Norg doesn't but the cub is being held hostage because the gay polycule ship needs a son in that fucking mess.

i've never considered inbae, honestly!! i'm the type of toxic monoshipper fujo that can't see anyone of my fav characters' pairing with another person, so for me gihun is the only one for his multiple boyfriends (junho and daeho are the exception tho, bc my eyes have been opened to daeho x junho, and also i think daheo x junhee is cute).

now, stephun.... first of all, amazing ship name i'm gagged 🤧 second of all, gihun sleeping with his ex-wife's new husband is such a baddie move, i cant explain it

canonically, gihun doesn't like cheating and he respects the sanctitude of marriage, so he'd never let a married man hit (rip "youngil", u play yourself), but let's say that he did:

they'd fuck nasty and sloppy. i dont even think they'd arrange to meet up anywhere. gihun would arrive at eunji's house to meet gayeong, not knowing that they are late, and stepdad is there.

they start arguing and one thing leads to another. they fuck on the floor like animals and stepdad is strangely dominant (that's why he and eunji would never be compatible in bed).

they finish, clean up, and gihun walks out the door just as eunji arrives. gayeong is happy to see her dad and she runs up to hug him and gihun is thrilled to see his girl.

but the guilt of having slept with eunji's husband and once again ruining her life is making him feel physically ill, so he needs to leave.

except that eunji sees that he has a huge hickey on his neck. and that her husband's pants arne't properly buttoned. and she quickly connects the dots, and sends the kids to their rooms, not even letting gayeong complain too much abt not going with gihun.

she glares at them and gihun confesses first, saying that it was his fault and she should forgive her husband (he's not gonna be responsible for gayeong seeing her mom separated again). but what no one was expecting is that eunji missed gihun's bussy, so couldn't care less abt her husband hitting it bc she wants to too.

they become a polycule after that and gihun gets his shit rekt every day of the week, getting passed around between his ex-wife and her new husband.

off to a great start with sunvant/lord eclipse. ik a lot of ppl like to make them fluffy but they got so much toxic potential. like idk man. the power imbalance + lord eclipse being both physically and emotionally abusive is some good shit. sunvant is absolutely and purely devoted to him. nothing eclipse could do would change that. every punishment is a lesson. every reward is a blessing. every command is a job he does happily. yes, hes absolutely terrified of his lord, but isnt everyone? isnt everyone meant to be scared of their god? if he isnt scared then is he really appreciating his lords true beauty and raw power? idk man. some good shit right there

the obvious sun/eclipse. i can never escape them in any form. main dimension sun/eclipse, dark sun/eclipse, sunbeam (eaps sun)/eclipse, sunvant/eclipse. all of the above pls. but if we're going with MAIN dimension suneclipse their relationship could be sooo many things. (which is y i like the ship so much bc its so versatile!) it could be a fixer-upper, abusive, friends/enemies with benefits, you name it. anything and everything is possible with these 2 bitches and its wonderful

sun/solar is actually the first thing i shipped. even BEFORE sun/eclipse. shocking, ik, but i felt like they had sooooo much potential THAT NOBODY FUCKING SAW. like- an emotionally broken down mechanic who feels guilty over the death of his own sun and an anxious mess that just wants to make things better. how could it be any more perfect??? solar coping over his suns death with sun by accepting that hes gone but at least he has another to love and he wont be empty forever. AUGH

this is for my own au becuzzzz i wont let go of a chance to talk about them :3 we got sunshine(sunvant)/solstice(eclipse) and they are an absolute WRECK. theyre both fucked over by their past and the beginnings of their relationship is so rocky bc sunshine doesnt trust anyone + doesnt understand nor believe he deserves affection (hes also constantly wanting to go back to lord eclipse). meanwhile solstice doesnt even see sunshine as a person and rather as a project to work on (and also an opportunity to maybe better himself. maybe if he can help someone then that means he can be a better person). solar comes in later and while i havent Completely thought about their dynamics i will say that both solar and solstice are very overprotective of sunshine. they both constantly butt heads bc they both want to protect him while sunshine just sits in a corner head in hands trying to figure out how to get them to stop without having his own panic attack (they get better tho dw <3)
