It is okay to need pain medication to function with your chronic pain. It is okay. I promise. I know everywhere you turn pain medication is demonized. I know that it is scary to talk about. i have to be honest, i truly do not understand the fixation so many people in this country have on hating immigrants. like i've lived in nyc for most of my life which is probably one of the (if not the most) diverse places in the country (and also frankly one of the places where most immigrants actually end up as opposed to like bumfuck, alabama or whatever) and this perspective is just totally alien to me. you walk down any street in this city, and you will probably hear at minimum 2 foreign languages being spoken, and no one gives a fuck.

obviously i know it's mostly just good old xenophobia and racism but the fact that enough people are willing to imperil our democracy just to feel like they're owning the immigrants bc they've seen a few too many non-white people around town for their liking is insanity to me.

Am I the only one not totally baffled by Bobby and Athena's housing choices last episode? Like, converting the kid's old rooms into a guest bedroom and an office is so normal?

The rooms exist, so if anything truly bad happened and May or Harry needed a room for a while, they would have the space, and the guest room is certainly available for them for holidays and stuff. I get May and Harry having Some Feelings about it (which we the audience see because I think it's coming back up in the whole Bobby fake death thing), but I've seen a lot of fans being upset and I just don't get it?

Maybe because I grew up in a small house where we were always having to share rooms and moving out just meant rearranging who was sharing, and coming home from college for breaks meant sleeping on a trundle in my old room that turned into the baby room for the two youngest, but I don't see the issue 🤷🏻‍♀️ Shows have had stories of main characters going home to find the room has become an office or storage or guest room forever! My grandparents have several kids and still have one guest room and an office and when everyone comes to visit there's a pull-out couch and air mattresses and we all make do.

I just think building a new home and making sure there are rooms, but setting them up in a way that is actually usable day to day for the people living there is fine and practical and realistic, (and expensive enough) moreso that building and furnishing two additional bedrooms on top of a guest room and office for people who don't permanently live there 🤷🏻‍♀️

A while back you made a post talking about yakumo and his sensitivity to temperature and I haven't stopped thinking about it. imagine when winter comes around and yakumo becomes progressively sluggish, usually staying in the kitchen and not leaving for hours, always making something near the stove to feel a little warmth from the flames or from a little taste of the things he's making (soup probably), or him picking up the habit of bundling himself up and staying in the library to read and nap. maybe when it starts getting even colder he barely leaves his room because its too uncomfortably cold for him, and if he does he's probably looking for eiden to help him warm up, but if eidens not around he gets antsy and looks for somebody else in the mansion, but he's too shy to ask and looks at whoever with his wet eyes so they know he's cold and wants a cuddle

Does anyone have any good home decorating/organizing resources for someone who has a lot of books and craft supplies and lives the impermanent life of a student? I'm pretty terrible at organizing and making things look cohesive, and at this point I'm willing to settle for "functional" even if I can't have "pretty." I think at this point my problem is more "how to store things in a way that's not just throwing things into a cardboard box" than it is "how to get rid of stuff you don't want." I'm beginning to suspect I just need to buy more bookshelves and a pegboard and store all my craft supplies that way.

Becoming deeply radicalized against the idea of crewed Mars missions, y'know how the Rovers keep sending back better and better data what if instead of that we made an even bigger one and devoted nearly 90% of its capacity to holding a guy in a bubble on top of it instead of sending back useful data, but wait! idk if its just me but something about exploring office building spaces in virtual spaces is rly like exhilirating to me,,, maybe its like taking an environment thats normally quite foreign to me and making it like a playground,,,, but idk in general doing this with all sorts of modern day architecture really hits me in an emotional way,,,, something abt walking around the stanley parables environments, or like office levels in half life mods, the map for doom thats just the tiny seinfeld apartment with an insane amount of detail,,,,, i think i may just have permanent source engine custom map brainrot but something abt this shit,,,, i wanna just explore environments like these and play with my friends,,,, i like the idea of just existing in places outside of their intended function,,,, like imagine hanging out in an office cubicle building with ur tranny friends and playing in that space,,,, roleplaying an office worker or boss/employee relations as an improv bit or a kink set up to fucking or drawing on the walls, rolling up a skinny tranny in a carpet like a burrito and rolling her around the floors, hide and seek,,,, i have such a desire to use an office space as a playground, its so personified in its own way, its own environment, even if its aesthetic is kind of the pure absence of any personality thats an interesting aesthetic too! maybe this is a cope ive developed subconciously to hype myself up for my inevitable future of working towards an office job,,, or maybe im just really autistic and it is naturally appealing in some weird unexplainable way,,, probably both

Needing a Sua perspective from the ALNST auditions to Round 1. I never put much thought into what happens to the cast post-Anakt Garden graduation (do they immediately go to the auditions? Is there a period of time where they dont see each other until they recognize each other at the audition? Theres a considerable amount of time between the auditions and their Alien Stage season, did they see each other often between then or...? etc.), but regardless, imagine being her and having to choose between sabotaging your own audition so you dont have to go the the Sing, Win, or Die Show or putting your in your all in hopes of winning and spending just a bit more time with this girl you love because you know itll likely be the last time you see her.
