hey, excuse me if this is kinda random and out of nowhere, but i just finished reading all of your "no nut november" series (god, it feels kinda stupid to write this down) and i have to say that it was probably the best comedy fanfic i've ever read. your comedic timing is genius, the way that you knew when to leave something hanging and when to drop a laugh bom on the reader was amazing, and even through all of the laughter, the fact that i still found all of their relationships adorable truly shows how talented you are.
thank you so much for the laughs, i'm now also enjoying "diamond league" and looking forward to the joy that series brings as well.
hope you stay healthy and happy ! <3
hello hello !! oh my gosh THIS ASK IS SO SWEET IM IN SHAMBLES 😭😭💖💖💖 AHAHA sorry for the horrible titles i give my smaus LOL i ended up calling it “nnn” because “no nut november” gives me secondhand embarrassment sometimes 🤧 but thank you so much for reading my smau and taking the time to type all this out for me 😭🌸 it makes me so happy that you noticed all those details and appreciated it sm and knowing that i can make you feel that way through a story makes my heart swell with joy :’)) 💝💝 and i’m so glad you liked the friendships !! sometimes i wish i expanded more on them but i also didn’t want to overdo it since it’s intended to be a short series 🥰
i’m rlly glad you’re choosing to read diamond league as well !! thank you for supporting my works and this whole ask made my entire day <33 seriously i’m grinning like an idiot 🥰💖
hope you have a wonderful day/night yourself and take care of yourself !!! 🌷🌷🌷

Hey, this might seem weird and random, but could you tell me how your culture separates the world? I'm from Brazil, and we learned that the West was made up of Africa, Europe, the Americas and Australia, and that the East was Asia and the rest of Oceania. But I've recently learned that Europe and the Usa tend to see South and Central America, as well as Africa, as part of a... weird, neither western nor eastern area. So I'm just curious as to what your culture usually divides the world as. (Btw, this was inspired by the map of Brazilian stereotypes that you reblogged.)
Israel sees itself as simultaneously part of the Middle East and part of “The West” (especially the US and Europe) even though it makes no sense.

Do you have any headcanons for Godai meeting and interacting with younger Riders? We never really got anything like it
No, we didn’t, and it’s not terribly surprising really given how his show ends, but you know what? I feel like a lot of other Riders have actually met him, they just don’t realize it.
ORE Journal gets a hot tip about what sounds like a supernatural occurrence halfway across the city. Kido Shinji heads out there and it’s nothing, really, just a couple of cats fighting in a spot that has some good reverb. He gets most of the details--all of them, actually, a startlingly accurate picture of the situation--from a guy who’s helping some local kids get their ball down from a tree. Never catches his name, but he’s left with the lingering impression of a smile that sticks with him for several days after.
The Den-Liner stops and picks up a passenger who orders a coffee from Naomi, compliments it extensively once it arrives, and asks for the recipe. He doesn’t seem phased by the Imagin, but he doesn’t really talk to them either. Owner, seeing him, gets sort of an odd look on his face and says, “You shouldn’t be here. Everyone remembers you.” He just shrugs, flashes a thumbs-up, pays his fare with a coin nobody but the owner seems to recognize, and gets off at the next stop.
Kurenai Wataru is playing violin in the garden when he notices that someone’s stopped at the front gate to listen. It’s a little startling, but he’s not intrusive, and he claps when Wataru finishes and asks if he ever gives lessons. Unfortunately, he says, he’s not going to be in the area for much longer, but a friend of his is looking for a new violin instructor for her son.
Onodera Yuusuke is out getting groceries, makes eye contact with someone in the produce section, and goes so dead still that Tsukasa actually runs into him. He and the stranger stare at each other for a moment and then move on without speaking. Tsukasa, who watched the entire encounter with an expression of vague alarm, spends the rest of the day watching Yuusuke like he’s a ticking time bomb.
Terui Ryuu stops to give directions to a man passing through Fuuto who, once he’s got the instructions down, asks if Ryuu’s ever met a guy named Ichijo, works over in Nagano. Of course Ryuu has, Ichijo Kaoru worked with his father once, he’s a legend. The man just grins at him and says, “He’s great, right?” and then heads on his way.
Outside a dig site in Romania, Hino Eiji is looking for somewhere to sit and eat the bento that his host’s grandmother packed for him and is surprised to hear someone else speaking Japanese on the phone next to a food stand. They eat lunch together, spend the entire time swapping stories about their travels and insisting that the other one “try this, it’s delicious,” and go their separate ways. (Several weeks later, Date Akira stops outside his field clinic to talk to a guy teaching skipping rhymes to the local kids, and is startled when the guy says, “Oh hey, I heard about you from a guy I met in Romania.”)
Kisaragi Gentarou spends an hour helping out a traveler whose bike broke down on the side of the road. The bike’s an easy fix, fortunately. The traveler gets the handshake in one try and shows him how to do a handstand.
On a beach in Okinawa, Souma Haruto takes a break from looking for a place for the Hope Ring to spend ten minutes debating the virtues of yeast-raised versus cake doughnuts with a man he’s never seen in his life but immediately trusts. When he finds out that his new acquaintance is actually a big fan of Donut Shop Hungry, he immediately Connects back to Tokyo to snag half a dozen for him. New Acquaintance is absolutely thrilled by this, asks if that’s a trick Haruto can teach him, and then doesn’t even question it when Haruto has to say, “No, definitely not.”
Kureshima Mitsuzane gets to the public stage, goes to find the usual secluded spot he watches the Beat Riders from, and is surprised to find it already occupied by a guy from out of town who’s got a takeout smoothie from Drupers and is watching the dance show with undisguised joy. He tries to go find somewhere else to watch from, but the stranger insists that they watch together, he’d love to hear about this from a local, if Micchi doesn’t mind? Micchi ends up talking to him for nearly an hour about the culture of public dance performance in Zawame, lets the stranger buy him a snack at Charmant, and then heads home feeling more at-peace than he has in months.
Hanaya Taiga takes a walk-in patient at the clinic who’s got a minor wrist fracture from a fall off his motorcycle. The x-ray of his arm looks...odd. He considers asking about it, but then he notices the look on his patient’s face when he looks at the x-ray and decides that there are some questions you just don’t ask.
Finally settled in the New World, Sento leaves his and Banjou’s warehouse home to pick up some supplies and, on the way back, nearly runs into a man who’s stopped on the sidewalk to look at the sunset. The man helps him pick up the one or two groceries that fell and, re: the sunset, tells him, “Well, you have to hang onto peace when you find it, right?” Sento thinks about this encounter, and the man’s alarmingly strong handshake, for a week.
At Kujigoji Hall, a customer stops in to have his wrist watch repaired. There’s no serious damage, the crown just needs replacing, so he waits for the work to be done instead of leaving it. Tokiwa Sougo, returning home with friends, is surprised when Woz stops in the doorway, looking at the customer, and says, “It’s you.” All the customer says, cheerfully, is, “Sure, could be.”

I've mostly just had trouble with DMs that speak way too fast and try to move on with drescriptions and actions and end up leaving me behind, still trying to process what is going on
Ah cool cool,
So its good to go at slower pace and speak clearly, and leave space and time for questions and clarifications as to what’s happening/vocabulary/things like that?

Donna Noble!
What I like about them- literally everything but if i had to pick one thing it’s her refusal to move from defending an action/person/thing that she knows it is morally right to defend. like. she will NOT back down from stances on things she knows she’s right about and i love that power
What I dislike about them- that the writers kept insinuating that her perfect happy ending would be getting married and settling down. shut up we all know that isn’t true.
Favourite moment- literally every moment she’s there is my favorite moment... uhm. literally i cannot pick. although it is great when she can tell how hard pushing that lever is for 10 in fires of pompei and she doesn’t want him to have the responsibility of losing those lives just solely on him and she takes it with him i just. AAAAA
Least favourite moment- when she gets her memory taken :(
A situation with this character that I want to see explored more- her friendship with martha!!!!!!!! they get to hang out for like 4 episodes and i just think they should be friends and the show should give me content of them hanging out
An interesting AU for this character- i’m working on a fic like this right now and it’s also my favorite au for donna but like. she overcomes the memory wipe and gets that timelord dna back but it doesn’t kill her cause she’s just so powerful. i love her and i think it’s within her power to do that
OTP (or OT3+ etc…. just… favourite ship)- i literally don’t know. i personally just don’t see her romantically with anyone really?? i think so much of her character arc is finding self confidence and self love and her story really focuses on her and on platonic love and i for one will respect that
BROTP- obviously her and 10 they’re soulmates
NOTP- her and any of her weird straight husbands. she does not deserver that :/
A headcanon- i really like the idea of jenny checking up on donna when she’s off on her own adventures... just making stops to early 2000s earth to see how her mom is doing :’)

why isn't Heathers in the poll?
Heathers isn’t included because it’s not a musical that I’ve really listened to, and the only musicals listed on the poll are the ones I’m pretty familiar with. I did this just so I didn’t have any limitations to what gif sets I could make! I’m really sorry!!

gall-e-xy replied to your post “I need to know if the Gokai Galleon is actually the size of a proper...”
I think it's way smaller? Like perspective and the fact that it isn't an actual ship make it a little hard to make out, but like actual galleons have way more cannons and cloth, and rope, and feel a lot bigger
These are fair points! The engine rooms and so on are quite big, though, from what we see in the last few episodes of the show, which makes me think that maybe it’s intended to be larger than it initially seems on screen.
The Gokaigers themselves use very little of the ship as living space, of course, and we never see where they sleep, so it doesn’t much help with figuring things like this out.

Hey! I wanted to know if you think there is any chance of Duke's parents recovering, or if this is one of those things in comics that never try change?
I mean considering the Track Record is:
Bruce, Dick & Jason: Parents outright die
Steph, Cass & Dami: One/Both parents are Evil/Criminals, but relatively speaking still alive
Tim & Babs: Parents/Parental figures are killed off/tortured as time drags on
My bet is that Duke will land in the 3rd category, unfortunately. This might very well be one of those exponentially more tragic things where they drag us along with whether or not Duke’s parents recover (kinda like how Tim’s parents were in pre52 continuity).
While I don’t think that DC has plans for them in the immediate future, it wouldn’t surprise me if, give or take a couple years, they do a storyline where they either A) fatally succumb to the effects of the Joker Gas or B) recover more of their faculties only to be Irreparably Altered (ie, Go Evil bc Reasons & Drama) (outcome C ofc is that Wayne Enterprises helps develop something to counteract the specific toxin used in the attacks but uhhhh DC obvsly stands for Dramatic Comics so i dont think we’ll see a Happy end for this one lads fjds;al)
I mean there’s still always hope! But Considering the Genre, that hope is absolutely meant to be a proverbial carrot on a stick to string our hero along until they finally figure out something more Definitive to do with that plot thread :/

Hello! If you're still doing the toku asks, I'd like to know 13, 15 and 19 please!
Answers for #15 and 19 respectively
13. Which character death upset you the most
I’ll always be destroyed by character deaths. The long standing winner of “royally messed me up”, however, was Drive Chase. It took me a whole year to watch it, and the day after I babbled to my friends about a cyborg of sorts sacrificing himself and they had no idea what I was talking about
The runner-up would be one floating arm by the name of Ankh. Crying three times in a row is not good for the eyes
Special mentions: Izu and Jin occurred within a week of each other, and I was so miserable I spontaneously cried in bed and couldn’t talk about the show for two weeks. There’s also Jin’s first death - which I avoided watching properly for almost a year...

Hello! For the ask game, maybe 7, 13 and 18, if it isn't too much trouble
7. Favorite villain?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
four nasty mfs and mele who has never done anything wrong in her life, ever
18. If you could meet any actor, who would it be?
can i cheat and say toshiki inoue bc i want to pick his brain. if not then shun nishime seems like a big sweetheart
13. Which character death upset you the most?
i’ll put this under a cut in case anyone out there wants to watch legendary horny men go nagai and toshiki inoue’s cutie honey the live vision, but
miki from cutie honey is genuinely the best tragic death i’ve seen in toku. which is shocking bc A) it’s cutie honey. and B) i don’t think anyone associates inoue with handling character deaths well. but if you can buy into the show and accept it’s gonna be weird and gross sometimes, i think miki’s arc really hits every box i could want out of tragic character. it’s as sad and painful as it should be, but it feels earned at the same time, and it smartly ends on that tiny glimmer of hope that leaves you with a sad smile instead of just wallowing in how depressing everything’s gotten. it’ll always Get me, no matter what

I think that woth Kazumin she jumped the threatening stage and went straight with murdering him. With words and actions
You’re right, a single threat wouldn’t have been enough to make him behave himself
