continually keep getting surprised w linux~~

setting up a gamecube homebrew disk to back up my games and play them without having the game disk inserted, I needed to make the disk fat32 which was something I didn't think you could do in linux; pleasantly surprised to learn that yes you can~~ I forgot what partition editor I just used tho..... am using KDE~~~

I've got the disk created~~~ but don't have the xeno chip installed yet, cause I don't have solder, and my visually impaired butt is doubting that I can even install it by myself cause the points i need to solder are very small

but ye if I set the disk up correctly, I can now softmod my gamecube somehow and back up disks hopefully without the xeno chip for the time being~~

but idk if it'll work nor do I really know how to make a save exploit game file, and I also maybe don't have any of the viable games to do that on me rn so can't do that to test tonight

wish I knew where the action replay disk went~~~ cause in my poking around I can use that to boot into homebrew as well~~~

I keep using disk but it's a microSD card~~ lol

I can now officially say I've finally made an impact on the Animal Crossing Deluxe mod! I've been helping do texture work on a lot of villagers and eventually remembered that special stumps were a thing. They've now been officially added and seem to be working correctly! There are 8 designs for regular trees in now with 8 for cedar and even coconut trees to be added later on!

The Animal Crossing Deluxe mod is a decomp mod of the Population Growing game for the Gamecube that aims to add features from other Animal Crossing games in the series, particularly from DnM e+. So far it has the e+ villagers, fish, bugs and outdoor decorations. It also has hybrid flowers, a new fruit type that was cut before launch, keyboard controller support and more!

The mod is developed primarily by Cuyler who is also largely behind the e+ translations and decomp project among other things.
