I was supposed to work on my veggie garden today (finally it is above freezing) but it rained and instead I ended up saving all the margo/sergei fics as pdfs on a folder so I can search with keywords, like this: pdfgrep -l -i nerva *.pdf

and it prints out all the filenames that contain fics that have a reference to the nerva engines (or leave the -l out and you also get the keyword surrounded by context, in addition to the filename. the -i is there to make it case insensitive.)

Well, friends, this is my first miniature that I printed on a 3D printer and painted by hand. Honestly, this is my first experience with painting miniatures and printing. This is my first miniature and the first order for this baby. I am very happy and hope that it will bring its owner good luck and happiness. ❤️

I had completely forgotten that Chris Surandon was in CHILD’S PLAY (1988), been so long since I saw the original Chucky film, which is on Tubi right now; and the rest of the series is on Netflix (in the US) if you randomly felt like doing a full series rewatch binge like myself.

I will catch up on the CHUCKY tv series as well; which much like Cobra Kai exceeded my expectations beyond my wildest imagination to be a truly great show.

Hi to all,

Because of the Tumblr bug aka ”fantastic new technology”, the bug which touched about half the art blogs, but fortunately not mine for the moment got to mine yesterday because Tumblr extended their new toy to all the blogs. It’s a toy that allows to posts up to 30 images in the same post, but which puts big white stripes around the images. These stripes are very visible if you have some specific templates, and as said several times already, they make impossible correct reblogs to serious curating sites, like YWAMag. I’m not saying that Lensblr etc are not serious. I’m saying (just look at Lensblr) that, as almost all bloggers, they don’t really pay attention to the aspect of their site. It’s been years now that this fucking bug has started. And if you look at all the curating sites except YWAMag, they haven’t payed attention to it. This gives smaller images than what they should be, ON THE SITE PAGE and not on the dashboards. There are spaces all around the images, and vertical black lines on the left. No paper magazine would allow this for even one day. I’m not allowing this shit for even one fucking post ! Now I’m forced to stop posting new images on my personal Tumblrs, I tried ten templates and they all have the bug. I asked Tumblr to act and to allow us to use the old editor if we want, but I know them, they only will act with a collective request. The other solution is to re-code but I’m a no-coder, it’s my wife and collaborator who made the code of the mag and of my main personal Tumblr. As many know it, she’s unfindable, disappeared almost two years ago. How will the mag function from now on ? Sendings as usual if the bug doesn’t touch them, and posts from your archives, for the ones who have them available (the semi-private mode doesn’t allow us to dig in your archives, so if you want to be selected here, please put your blog in public or be in contact with me for sendings). Some skills have been disappearing. Hand knitting shouldn't be one of them. It's a beautiful talent which can be totes useful in this time of cheap thih clothing.

My gosh if i had s relative who could do this when I'd study in the East Coast, I'd be forever grateful and wear it.

Not kidding about the latter. I had to wear an Angora sweater I got for Christmas to a cybersecurity expo. My goodness itedusbty compliment me or my age.

When an old director saw the pic, he had to ask what happened. Me: Christmas present from relative. They understood with a little chuckle.
