Such total hospitality. "Hospitotality," if you will.
___
JOKE-OGRAPHY: 1. In this Bible story, three figures appear to Abraham, and they're identified as the Lord. Abraham shows them hospitality, offering that they sit under a tree as he brings them water to bathe their feet, along with fresh cakes, meat, curds and milk. As the figures eat, they bless Abraham, telling him that his wife, Sarah, will give birth to a son by the same time next year. 2. The figures are not each specifically identified in the passage, though the narration ambiguously calls them "Lord," so either (1) they're three angelic representatives of the Lord, (2) one is the Lord and two are angelic attendants, or (3) the three figures represent the three Persons of the Triune God. I went with the latter interpretation for the character designs and the pun. 3. In this cartoon, Abraham offers hospitality to the figures just like in the Bible story, though he throws in a pun along the way. He offers them cake and meat to go with their "TriniTEA," stressing the final syllable of "Trinity" (as in "a group of three") into the word "tea" (as in the drink).

Three Men Meet Abraham
1 The Lord appeared to Abraham by the oaks of Mamre, as he was sitting by the door to his tent during the heat of the day. 2 Abraham looked up, and he saw three men standing in front of him. When he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and he bowed down to the ground. 3 He said, “My lord, if I have now found favor in your sight, please do not pass your servant by. 4 Now let me get a little water so that all of you can wash your feet and rest under the tree. 5 Let me get some bread so that you can refresh yourselves. After that you may go your way. That is why you have come to your servant.”
They said, “Yes, do as you have said.”
6 Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah and said, “Quickly prepare twenty quarts of fine flour, knead it, and make some loaves of bread.” 7 Abraham ran to the herd, brought a good, tender calf, and gave it to the servant. He hurried to prepare it. 8 He took cheese curds, milk, and the calf that he had prepared and set it before them. He stood beside them under the tree while they ate.
9 They asked him, “Where is Sarah, your wife?”
He said, “She is over there in the tent.”
10 One of the men said, “I will certainly return to you when this season comes around next year. Then Sarah your wife will have a son.”
Sarah was listening to this from the tent door, which was behind him. 11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well into old age. Sarah was past the age for childbearing. 12 Sarah laughed to herself, saying, “After I am worn out, will I have pleasure, since my lord is also old?”
13 The Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really give birth to a child though I am old?’ 14 Is anything impossible for the Lord? At the set time next year I will return to you, and Sarah will have a son.”
15 Then Sarah denied it and said, “I did not laugh,” because she was afraid.
The Lord said, “Yes, you did laugh.”
16 The men got up from there and looked down toward Sodom. Abraham went with them to see them on their way. 17 The Lord said, “Should I hide from Abraham what I am about to do, 18 since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed in him? 19 For I have chosen him, so that he may command his children and his household who follow after him to keep the way of the Lord by carrying out righteousness and justice, so that the Lord may deliver to Abraham what he has promised him.”
20 So the Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very flagrant, 21 I will go down now and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has come to me. If not, I will know.”
22 The two men turned from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the Lord. 23 Abraham approached him and said, “Will you really sweep away the righteous along with the wicked? 24 What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep them away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous who are in it? 25 You would never do such a thing, killing the righteous along with the wicked, treating the righteous the same as the wicked. You would never do such a thing. The Judge of all the earth should do right, shouldn’t he?”
26 The Lord said, “If I find fifty righteous people within the city of Sodom, then I will spare the entire place for their sake.”
27 Abraham answered, “See now, I who am but dust and ashes have taken it on myself to speak to my Lord. 28 What if there are five fewer than fifty righteous? Will you destroy the entire city if the number is five short?”
He said, “I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.”
29 He spoke to him yet again and said, “What if only forty are found there?”
He said, “I will not do it for the sake of the forty.”
30 He said, “Please, do not be angry, my Lord, but I will speak again. What if thirty are found there?”
He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”
31 He said, “See now, I have taken it upon myself to speak to my Lord. What if there are twenty found there?”
He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of the twenty.”
32 He said, “Please, do not be angry, my Lord, but I will speak just once more. What if ten are found there?”
He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.”
33 As soon as he had finished speaking with Abraham, the Lord went on his way, and Abraham returned to his place. — Genesis 18 | Evangelical Heritage Version (EHV) The Holy Bible, Evangelical Heritage Version®, EHV®, © 2019 Wartburg Project, Inc. Devotional: Day Eighteen (Gen 18, Matt 18, Psa 18)
Devotional for January 24, 2025 Reading: Genesis 18 | Matthew 18 | Psalm 18 Genesis 18 Genesis 18 can be divided into two sections. The first (18:1-21) is the account of the visit from three men in which they restate the covenant promise of God to Abram. There have been a few interpretations as to the origin of the men. Are they angels? Is it a manifestation of the Trinity? The more likely…

"Genesis...that's rude!" - Angeal Hewley
In which a salty teen Genesis gets a little bit cheeky over losing a spar with Sephiroth again.
Angeal still thinks it's a hilarious addition to his growing photobook, though. :P

Genesis 5:21-25 (AMP). [21] “When Enoch was sixty-five years old, he became the father of Methuselah. [22] Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God three hundred years after the birth of Methuselah and had other sons and daughters. [23] So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. [24] And [in reverent fear and obedience] Enoch walked with God; and he was not [found among men], because God took him [away to be home with Him]. [Heb 11:5] [25] When Methuselah was a hundred and eighty-seven years old, he became the father of Lamech.”
Matthew 6:33 (KJV). “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
“How to Walk With God” by In Touch Ministries:
“If a relationship with God is our priority, we can rest, knowing He will direct our path.”
Scripture tells us that Enoch’s walk with the Father was so close that “God took him” (Gen. 5:24). This implies Enoch didn’t die but was taken directly into the Lord’s presence. It pleases God when His children seek to follow Him with this same closeness. Consider these aspects of a vibrant walk with the Lord:
• Reconciliation. This term essentially means “God moving toward us.” We can be joyful because the responsibility is all His. Through the cross of Christ, God has already made His move in our direction. 2 Corinthians 5:18 says, “Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.”
• Trusting God. We must have faith that, through Jesus, God provides all we need in order to walk intimately with Him.
• Agreement. To appreciate the closeness God longs to have with us, we must agree with what Scripture teaches about His Son, His Word, the church, and sin.
• Fellowship. Just as human relationships fall apart without regular interaction, our intimacy with God weakens when we don’t spend time with Him.
The walk of faith is a beautiful journey. When we seek the Lord above all else, He’ll direct our path (Proverbs 3:5-6).

re: Thunderbolts*, I also found it something of a revelation that it was built so deeply on the human need for communion. It is not good for man to be alone!! They all had to rely on each other in such obvious and crippling ways!! Like that hilarious elevator scene encapsulated that so well, but also Yelena needed her dad to pick her up from the desert! Valentina seems to think she can decide everything for herself but when she’s being threatened, it’s her need for companionship that saves her! Not herself! When Bob tried to fight the Void on his own, all it did was make things worse! The whole trauma labyrinth was just THEM, alone, their own self turned against them, and they couldn’t escape without having someone else to guide them through. Even Bucky’s whole silly politician thing is enmeshed inside this message that you cannot just live your life alone and expect it to be fulfilling. and I think that’s so beautiful

I really do love Jesus more than all & all my posts belong to Jesus & he is my Lord & savior, the Messiah, the Christ, Jesus is my King & should be your's too instead of people & made up governments or made kings/queens, Jesus Christ the truth, Jesus King of the jews & the rest on the earth & that much being God's son. I love Jesus & this is not about me but about Jesus. Jesus, God, the Holy Spirit, Legion, Gabriel, Death, Raphael, Belial, Mammon, Satan, Beelzebub, Baphomet, Abaddon, Molech, Uriel, & more helped me to type this. The colonists not native to here called the USA by them are still using bombs/missiles made from poor former animal & plant material from here & some mined even after knowing the dangers of mining & what happens when a moron sets a fire like in what they call Centralia Pennsylvania & they need to cover & put that fire out-(look really works)-lhttps://www.tumblr.com/myfamilyllashea/774952708096589824/ending-fires?source=share. Like what they did against Iran by colonists & that was wrong to kill as they did. You also know how much of a lie as nuclear equipment/material could explode & cause more devastation if bombed & knowing after already being told not to hurt innocent people, plants, animals, & the rest of Jesus, God, & the Holy Ghost's Children or ever even use bombs or weapons knowing what they do to the whole planet but they are incompetent colonists here going under a made up corporate backed federal government, not native to here, & uncaring or just doing as told- a huge problem here for pay.-so sorry to what is being called Iran & they keep using native terms & names from here to hurt us & literally hurt others with the weapons they were told to ban for the sake of all everywhere. So what did they really bomb in what they are calling Iran? Because that is beyond incompetent to bomb hazardous material to go into the air & spread across the planet & I are so sorry to you in what they are calling Iran & your people. We also need those Apache helicopters-a native name from here to make fun of us & hurt others back from Israel using Jacob's name & them not loving Jesus-king of the jews & God's literal son see Luke 1, John 18-19 & you never kill in God's name as has been done see John 16:2, the nazi's, what has happened here & in what they call south america with forced conversions & the salem witch trials, & what is happening in gaza-canaan & Iran also along with others in the middle east & across the planet by colonists also look at the poor aborigines in colonist called australia & what has happened in south Africa & other places & I the concern is real for the rest of Africa, the middles east, & what they call Asia. Also those tomahawk missiles & bombs as a whole need to stop being used here or anywhere else & those using native terms from here as a pun & knowing the devastation they cause to the planet & to Jesus, God, & the Holy Ghost's people, animals, & plants & more. Also all nukes & weapons need to be taken from what they are calling the USA just see what happened to Japan-hiroshima & nagasaki to innocent people who had no control of what their leader was doing & you do not blame the people for leaders they did not want or nor did they want invaders/colonists who run a shit show fake government or fake king or queen of a place-like here & Canada(Canada does not have nuclear weapons though but called usa does & has used them on Japan & should never be allowed to use them again knowing what nuclear weapons do, Israel using Jacob's name, India,Pakistan, UK-England, Russia,China & others all need to denuclearize & drop all weapons hence not to kill Jesus, God, & the Holy Ghost's people, animals, plants, what they call insects like bees, little beings like penicillium & more & also the long term health effects experienced directly & else where across the planet. Only incompetent people would want to use bombs or weapons knowing the repercussions- mass killing, earth quakes-volcanic eruptions-& tsunamis potentially from bomb impact & they lie just look at the craters left & devastation.

🤍🎀 Hi! I’m looking for canon x canon crossover pairings! 🎀🤍
About me: 23 she/her. I normally write 300-500 words per character per response, but I can adjust to match length. I don’t mind how much my partner writes, so long as you give me something to work with! My response schedule can be inconsistent, But I love to make playlists, moodboards, plot, talk ooc and such! I’m looking for a roleplay partner who is 18+ for either scene based, short term or long term plots. I prefer to write on discord.
Premise: I’m looking for canon x canon crossover pairings, but am also totally open to canon x canon pairings within the same fandom if we have any in common! For the crossover pairings, I have a few canon muses i’m dying to write as, and if you also have canon muses who you struggle to find role plays for, i’m your girl! I’m really looking to smush two characters from different fandoms together and see what we can come up with! We can also write multiple pairs so we can each write our preferred gender or dynamic! I’m open to writing fxf or mxf, or mxm if we’re doing multiple threads!
Fandoms I have muses in: hunter x hunter, neon genesis evangelion, iron blooded orphans, mobile suit gundam, monster, galaxy angel, doki doki literature club, fire emblem three houses, RWBY, vocaloid, voltron, DC animated universe. You don’t need to be in any of these to rp with me! I’m interested in writing with canon muses from any fandom!
If you’re interested, like this ad and I'll reach out! Thank you! <3

The boys walk in to find Cloud and Genesis in a compromising position. But it’s not what it looks like, they swear. It’s just a misunderstanding
*Cloud is trying to fix his belt buckle*
Genesis: Do you need help?
Cloud: Yeah, I can't get this to close.
Genesis: Okay, hang on. I'll have to kneel because you're so short.
Cloud: Do what you must.
*Genesis starts messing with the belt buckle. Meanwhile Sephiroth stops around the corner to fix his hair*
Cloud: Ah! You're going too hard—Ugh!
Genesis: It's not my fault it's so tight.
Sephiroth (internally): That can't be right. Surely they're not...
Cloud: Ow! Genesis!
Genesis: Look, if you're going to complain, then I'm going to stop. My knees hurt anyway.
Sephiroth (internally): No, no. I'm overthinking things. They have to be doing something else. I'll just have a look.
*Genesis pulls on the belt buckle hard and they both topple to the ground. Cloud is on top of Genesis. Sephiroth walks out and sees this*
Sephiroth: Ah, just as I suspected.
Cloud: I can expla—
Sephiroth: Genesis is a bottom.
