UPDATE #ketoweightlossjourney Im working on maintainence on keto for about 2 months now ... more or less I have kept the same weight going up and down 2 lbs ... but I still loose inches ... size 4 is loose and I can totally squeze into size 2 as well. I dont want to get any skinnier ... Im aming for being stronger and leaner! I haven’t had potaos for nearly a year now ... after researching how to maintain on keto I introduced potatos back to my diet from today! Its going to be occasionally here and there ... but OMG this was so so GOOD! ���� Baked in the owen, sea salt and grass fed butter + little sourcream, cheese and onions This little potato was 5 oz and based on my app 17.5 g net carbs.... Back to work after a week off and I’m determined to get back into the groove with exercise and eating. I had a message recently saying that I didn't seem to be training much anymore • Swipe to see the evidence that do (and my favourite and least favourite leg exercises right now). And whilst I can see that at surface level, that's how it might appear, I'm actually just training smarter. I'm currently in a dieting phase - training in the gym 3-days a week, doing whole body workouts (still aiming for progressive overload) with a little functional work at the end to help strip a little fat off too. I'm just 4-weeks in (and took 10-days off in that time because I was sick as a dog and health comes first). 2kg down and measurements moving nicely 💪🏻 Slow & steady progress, just what we like to see. Consistency is key. I've just started to add a little running back in to help with my energy expenditure and I'm hitting those steps (7000) on the daily thanks to my audiobook addiction. I'm planning a week away at the end of November, so 4 more weeks of dieting before a week off and then hitting it hard until Christmas. 𝘼𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 . . . . . . now that Aunt Flo has left the building, I’m able to start feeling like I’m making progress again • My weight went up by 2kg during my period, and that was all down to my hormones being all over the place, bloating and gastro issues • This is 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 normal, although for a long time I really struggled to accept that and would work against my cycle as opposed to with it. I’ve now fully reversed out of my lockdown calorie deficit and happily munching just under 2000 delicious calories a day • I haven’t been paying huge attention to my macros as I’ve reversed, but I naturally lean towards a higher protein diet as it’s better for my IBS. Training wise I’m still mixing gym and home workouts based upon my work diary, focusing on glute gains and strength • I’m only really running once a week, so I’ve added in 2 x 30-minute LISS sessions in as well to get those steps in and get me moving a little more!!!
