The fact that these two scenes are 16 Years Apart is crazy.

The fact that it took 16 years, 5 games, and countless instances of Kiryu leaving for Majima to finally just outright tell him "don't leave", whereas before he would've just stayed quiet.

The fact that Majima stayed silent in Yakuza 3 when Kiryu was leaving to live a new, free life while leaving Majima to take care of his responsibilities, meanwhile in IW he speaks up when Kiryu leaves to go throw his remaining life away for the yakuza while leaving the 3jimas to their quiet (if admittedly miserable) new lives. ohhh they make me sick

how does loop helping the party go in act 5 of the dragon loop au? does vaugarde even have knowledge of what dragons are?? does act 5 even happen the same way? what about the cosmic siff fight? does our siff become a dragon for a second??? (thanks so much for making this au i am obsessed both with this game, this au, and also dragons and characters becoming dragons)

in act 5, it’s pretty similar to canon. helpful, desperate loop calls in the cavalry— with one useful addition, aided by siffrin’s encouragement to learn to use their wings.

this hits especially hard bc due to having spent a lot more time together, siffrin has a lot more ammo to tear into loop during the spinning out loop. their resulting fight is pretty explosive, to the point where siffrin figures loop would be the last to ever come for them.

as for the cosmic sif fight, well.

Do you think Movie Mario has a “no kill” rule like other superheroes like Spider-Man and Batman? I don’t think any of Bowser’s troops were killed by Mario in the movie at any point and he didn’t kill Bowser despite everything he’s done.

I don't think he has a "no kill" rule.

He definitely aims to incapacitate rather than kill, but I think... like game Mario... his stance is "do everything you can to protect the people you love, and if the threat just so happens to not get back up... oh well."

That's not to say he doesn't hope for the best out of everyone or walk away when the fight's clearly been won, but if the stakes are high enough, and the person he's up against is bad enough, he's all in with no holds barred.
