gaza scam warning
I'm locking this post because it was about the original wave of gaza-scams and is now outdated when it comes to recent real fundraisers that have been appearing on Tumblr. Please don't pass up people in need because you're afraid of scams. Identifying scams from the real fundraisers is easy.
@el-shab-hussein does a lot of vetting on Tumblr. @nabulsi is another reliable user who has done vetting (but as of this time is not vetting new posts). @90-ghost is a real palestinian person but they don't do a lot of in-depth vetting.
el-shab-hussein and nabulsi have a vetted fundraiser google sheet. el-shab-hussein has a list of direct contacts in gaza/yemen who are certifiably real people. operation olive branch is a coordinated effort to gather certified crowdfunding campaigns both for families and humanitarian provisions.
When you receive an ask, check any of the above resources to see if they're there. Some also have pre-existing social media accounts, such as Instagram, that they certify as theirs and prove that they are a real person in Palestine. Scroll down their blog, look at the notes in their post, and look for confirmation that they are verified anywhere (do not trust their claims until you see the confirmation yourself).
Then if you see confirmation that they are a real person in Palestine who needs help, reblog their post and maybe donate $5.
Feel free to message me about anyone who sends you an ask that seems suspicious and I'll tell you if they resemble any scam archetypes I've seen.
Original post:
Hey gamers, recently there have been a number of scam blogs on tumblr claiming to be Gazan victims. They've been making a number of iterations of the exact same blog and story but with different names and sometimes different PayPal links.
Thus far, the content of these scams are being stolen from 2 real fundraisers. Please lend your aid to these people who need help instead of the disgusting scam farm
Help Haya Orouq's family escape Gaza
Help Rawan AbuMahady's family escape Gaza
These are examples within the past month which have been deleted.

Donation scams on tumblr are extremely common and anyone who has a tumblr account will encounter them at some point. You have likely encountered them before and not realized it. They throw together a brand new blog with a story of needing aid, then use bots to go through follow lists and post notes to send messages to random users. Scambusting blogs like kyra45 do a lot of work to track and call out these scams when they surface.
Scam Spotting Tips
They send an ask often accompanied with a follow despite having never interacted with you before. Ask yourself: How did you find your blog? These interactions usually come out of nowhere when you have no original posts or interests they could've found you through, because they're just going down the lists of random blogs.
They reblog just enough posts to make you think that their blog is in-use when it is actually only a day or a few old. Enable timestamps and try find the blog's oldest post; if a blog seems old but still seems suspicious, be wary of post backdating
They often disable or delete comments on their donation post to hide comments that call them out. Open the notes and see if it says "some replies have been hidden, blocked or removed." Blocked/hidden comments sometimes still appear in reblogs of a post but not the original, so open a random reblog and see if telling comments appear there.
It isn't unusual for the story and the ask to either be exact copy-pastes of each other, or otherwise have very telling suspicious details, such as: using different names, having different goal amounts, contrasting story details, etc. Pay attention to and trust the suspicion of details that stand out as odd.
Like many of the above examples, they often use an automatically generated username consisting of random words
Reverse image searching can be a helpful giveaway if it works, but don't trust it entirely - scammers often steal images from private Facebook groups/profiles or alter the images so that people don't find the source. An image not having a source should also be suspicious, as you should wonder why this person's social media presence is exclusively a 3 day old tumblr blog
When you receive an ask from a blog like this, reporting them for spam or phishing and reporting the PayPal account for fraudulent activity does help get these accounts taken down.
In name of the situation, here are great verified resources to support real people who need help:
Many organizations and gofundmes for Gaza
Verified fundraisers for individuals in Gaza put together by @palestineasdiqa on Instagram and Twitter
Click to donate for free using ad revenue
Participation and political resources for US, UK and Canada

SCROLL PAST IF YOU WISH TO NOT SEE THIS!!! (Striked-through means de-bunked and outdated info!!!) (DOC HAS EDITED CLAIRIFCATIONS)
Miscommunication as the raid was thought of but did not happen.
Nsfw content that was implied or explicit were clairifed and some were not sent due to misinformation and communication.
Doc Is actively being edited and updated for everyone.
any striked text will not be removed nor any of the writing in respects to those who were harmed, lied and manipulated in both the Freaky-Light, Lost-light and those who were dragged in. In respects to the voice of those who were affected. Striked text is here to show the misinformation and mistakes made. not erase, to further clear the several parties involved in writing this.
Further update on situation Both the majority of those who were within the party who were apart of those from a discord, that used the spy-bot who were involved intentionally or were involved after due to event. Due to recent information and interviews with the members within the discord, more screenshots and evidence(s) eluding to both parties the other server and those who left the Lost-Light(excluding Server owner) being lied to. finding out about this late was due to the miscommunication and lies being told to both parties by said owner Softiekawa, noted down below. The document has been further clarified and apologizes to allegations relating to of nsfw, transphobia, Harassment and raids which have been debunked by further evidence and collaborative efforts with those of Freaky-light to truly show what had happened Edits to the document have been made fully in perspective of both sides and to expose what the owner had lied to both parties about.
All screenshots of evidence of Softiekawa lying to both parties can be found in the more screenshots which will be linked to the very top as well in the document.
I'm sorry to post this here but this needs to be made aware of especially for the safety of those joining that server or for people looking through tumblr. a server that went by the name of Lost Light a Transformers discord ran by a user and advertised under the tumblr @softiekawa1. Who of which invited several members from a discord which used a bot, to look through private messages without consent in private channels meant for staff. To spy on member(s) in the server who were and weren't involved, and broke multiple tos (terms of services) and guidelines.
A link to a more deeper explanation is in the google document made by our party in order to show our perspective and bring to light what is currently being silence within the server that occurred which is a major violation that happened to the privacy and safety of all minors who were affected and were victims of the spam and dms.
Due to the server being deletion by the owner report(s) are not needed as it's gone, but more information about what happened have been updated above.
Attempts to report and block have not worked due to the severity and potential harassment any of those who were affected could face due to those within the server. multiple people including those who were minors and people who were dragged in due in part by the party who are in the Lost Light server. Those individuals are being protected by the owner who previously was in arms of removing them. Only to ban several unaffiliated members who were told to have even been in, those within the server were involved in being affected by.
The owner of the server refused all advice of those who have tried to resolve the issue and are now defending who've sent videos, dms, imagery and text containing content to said minors without consent in mass. And any conversation or those who were involved or even just associated with me and those who were in it were banned, silenced and or remain in fear of leaving due to losing friends within in it to the Owner siding with the other party and lying to both people involved who are victims of the harassment and imagery and the staff who left are being falsely told to others, especially in multiple servers that these people have raided. and i'm posting to call out the blatant hypocrisy, biastry of what had happened. This server specifically is being advertised still on multiple platforms including here, and everyone involved who does not condone the actions of phishing, threats of harassment, sexually implied shocked images wishes for this message to be sent out especially for the safety of unsuspected people who might join. We do not condone however the harassment of the owner or any party involved. WE JUST wish for this server to not be accessible to the public as it involves now members and staff who were involved in the problem.
they themselves are minors so any harassment, actual doxxing, bullying. is not condoned and extremely wrong even for us and any normal person. We want for peace for those affected as those have been heavily affected, lost friends as well as been the victims of the harassment done.

what do we do now?
go get all your vaccines updated asap. they are likely about to be banned.
download all your favorite fanfics from ao3, and any 'adult' content anywhere, as these are likely also about to be banned.
delete period-tracking apps if you have them, get an iud and/or stock up on any other preg-prevent drugs you can, even if you don't CURRENTLY need them. men, get vasectomies. they are reversible and whether you want kids or not, pregnancies can now result in your partner's death far more easily than they should.
if you rely on commissions from online communities, make sure you have many different ways of being reached. diversify.
see if you can get prescription-strength toothpaste prescribed and filled by your dentist. flouride is likely getting removed from water and dental health can directly impact your cardiovascular health as well.
it is now more important than ever to save your money and invest if you can, as social security and other such benefits you may come to rely on in old age are likely going to get canceled. pay off debts early to avoid interest, buy refurbished outdated tech instead of new (it is way cheaper and works just as good if not better than new), don't buy a car that gets less than 45 mpg (priuses do not need to be charged and are lovely), buy used (they work just as well as new, they just don't have useless prestige), buy frozen meals from the grocery store instead of fast food (just as fast to prepare and much cheaper), etc
with public education being abolished, if you have or want kids, i recommend finding and stocking up on educational books and games. you can likely find a lot of them at discount stores like goodwill. even old or slightly outdated texts are better than nothing at all.
get a vpn (i use proton cuz it's free) and switch from google to duckduckgo so you can find life-saving information and help without being tracked by people who want you dead.

Happy weekend, all! 🦇 I'll probably do one more spooky update next week to round it out and then we'll be back to normal Compendium updates! I miss the spooky season already. 🎃
This is also a final plug for SEAFLOOR Saints Wake Gpose Challenge for anyone who might be interested! All works are reblogged to SEAFLOOR as well as queued on my blog. 🍬
If you know of anything I have missed, please reach out to me via my Discord or the Google Form.
Without further adeb, the following communities have been added to Sea's Community Compendium for XIV Creatives. 👻
COMMUNITY FOCUSED / EVENT SPACES
The Kwehnnedy Center—The Kwehnnedy Center for the Performing Arts gives performers a venue to showcase themselves and audiences access to some of the finest shows Eorzea has to offer.
MISC
Beginner's Guide to Gposing with Anamnesis/Ktisis—An entry-level walkthrough of how to download posing programs, load actors, edit character appearances, and manipulate poses in gpose. Written by @lilbittymonster.
CHANGELOG
Etheirys has been removed from the Large Scale Communities at the request of its owner due to imminent shutdown.
FFXIV Roleplay (Tumblr) has been removed at the request of its owner due to imminent shutdown.
If you'd like a FFXIV-based forum/communityto join, I would suggest Final Fantasy XIV Roleplay at this time!
The Google Form contained the outdated categories for Compendium sorting. This has been updated.
Have you thought about joining our Tumblr Community? You can find it here!
Want to submit? You can either fill out the google form here or send me an ask with the relevant information!
Is my space suitable for the Compendium? Most of the time, yes! Below the read more is some more information/stipulations. This is all publicly available on the document. 🐈⬛
Below are the following things I do not accept on the Compendium:
Personal/Single-Character LFC ads. (Though these get posted to the SEAFLOOR Tumblr Community when I find them!)
Content intended for or can be used for bullying, harassment and OOC gossip. E.g. ‘Secrets’ blogs, receipts, callout posts, etc. This does not include IC tabloid blogs or other ventures used to generate roleplay.
Communities that do not have an RP/writing element (large-scale exempt).
Anything I find personally distasteful or goes against the spirit of this project.
Common-sense rule applies.
I want to put my community on the Compendium but we have an application process. Is this okay?
Yes! Just note somewhere in your application that's a requirement. The only thing that is mandatory for the Compendium is that you must be open to new members or have a public-facing/accessible facet. There's no point advertising a community if no one can join it in some way!
I want to put my Community on the compendium but I only have x number of members —
Also totally okay! People don't start with large communities. Activity is a must but, whether your server has two or two thousand members, if you're looking for new people to join, I'd love to help you find people.
I want to put my community/resource on the Compendium but I worry its too niche?
Okay, and? If your Eorzean Fishing Alliance has four members but you roleplay every second weekend, I still want to know about it. The same goes for resources; if it's relevant to the game, it'll be useful to someone.
How active does a community need to be?
If you find a community has not been active in about two/three months, send me a message and I'll take a look at it. Communities have ebbs and flows, especially event spaces that may take hiatuses depending on member interest/life events. I'm not strict in my implementation provided a space isn't dead. If a link or anything is broken, contact me asap!
I have [insert a question not stated here]?
No drama! Send me an ask or use the #Compendium channel in my Discord!

Akudama Drive Wiki (and more): what happens next
The good news first:
ICYMI, the Akudama Drive Wiki has a brand new desktop theme! While remaining very recognisable, it's a more modern, more practical spin on the Wiki I've been taking care of for now almost 5 years.
As I've mentioned before, this new skin and theme will be easier to keep up with future MediaWiki updates! I'm very glad I was able to get around to it, and I hope you enjoy reading the Wiki even more.
PS: as most visitors are on mobile, while I have less control on the mobile theme - if you ever find a section that looks unreadable, like a mix or both themes or anything weird, please bring it up to me! I'll be able to tell whether that's something I can fix by moving my CSS elsewhere or if that's a MediaWiki problem.
2. The translation of Akudama Drive Comicalize is finally nearing its end.
For now, I'm waiting to see if Shikoku Arc will indeed start on June 15th, or if that's an automatic message Renta! has neglected to remove. From that point on, I'll know whether I need to beg Renta! for that translation, or whether I can move on with my plans.
Because I have plans! As the one person gathering information about Akudama Drive still, you can bet I'm excited to make all that information and Unique Content more available. With this very slow translation finally over, I'll be able to update everyone on the deets!
For now, feel free to browse the Manga-exclusive content Category to know what pages contain info that wasn't in the anime!
Now, the bad news:
Earlier this year, I got caught.
When I moved the Akudama Drive Wiki off Fandom, I knew very well that Fandom does not close Wikis by request. They have an aggressive policy against it, and do everything in their power to make forking difficult. Fandom is a for-profit company and I was an experienced editor when I left, well aware of the reasons why I needed to leave.
Why it was better for everyone for Wikis to be anywhere but on Fandom. Admins, editors, readers - even the future generations who deserve unbiased information. Yes, the topic of today is a Wiki about an anime, but Fandom's control goes way beyond that. Fandom's very existence goes against the principle of Wikis. Fandom makes it clear with its policy that it can afford to be the villain.
...Anyway, I knew all this, and that's why I decided to take a risk and do something that was against Fandom's rules. I used my Bureaucrat power to lock down the Wiki by force and redirect every page to the Miraheze Wiki. I want to emphasise that both Wikis are in large majority my own work, and that the fork was done the right way, meaning other/older contributors are still credited in page Histories, just like they were on Fandom.
For years, I wasn't caught. But it wasn't fool proof. There were still people using that fucking image of Brawler with a red line even though I'd fixed that a long time ago - on the Miraheze Wiki. Why? Because they got it from Google Images and didn't bother to open the link. Fandom's SEO is too good. That's the core of the issue. Miraheze's? Not very good. So lately, I've been putting efforts towards improving its SEO - but I also had to risk it, again, and remove more of the Fandom Wiki's outdated info. I removed Brawler-with-the-red-line, for example.
And some time later, I got caught. Welp. I was fully aware that I was taking a risk. It was worth it to me, as I am confident in my anti-Fandom stance and am fully aware that I'm the only person, as of today, actually updating information, old and new, about Akudama Drive. Like hi, it's me, I'm the Akudama Drive messenger. New OC dropped.
As for how I got caught - I thought at first someone had snitched. It was odd, since no one gives a shit about this Wiki, but it could always have been a kid, since we know who still likes Fandom, and any anime attracts kids. ...But I checked, and found no evidence that anyone had snitched in the normal ways one would snitch, which are public. The most plausible explanation is AI. We know that Fandom is now using AI for moderation, and it was made pretty clear that this is how the Vocaloid Lyrics Wiki was suddenly flagged after many years of a good relationship with Fandom. So yeah, thanks again to AI for coming in the way of real people's real human work and information. (Due to the time it took for my actions to be flagged, it's also likely the case that I would have gotten caught by the brand new AI even if I hadn't removed wrong-image-of-Brawler semi-recently at that point.)
All of that to say - when my ban wore off, I changed strategies. I contacted Fandom the good Christian way and fucking begged.
"I fucking begged" - jadzia von jan (2025)
I was replied to by a Support staff member with a really common name, that for the sake of respect, I'll still change. So let's say I was replied to by "Boss". (Akudama Drive reference. Ha!)
Boss informed me kindly that even though they were personally receptive to my begging, unfortunately, I was a sinner and thus could not be listened to. I insisted that it was for the sake of making the actual information available to, you know, all the other people who are readers and not me, but Boss insisted that it wasn't about punishing me personally, it's just that I didn't do the request the right way at all! "Fandom does not accept such requests"? "That's not true at all!" If I gave it a couple months, my request may be taken into account again - especially since my arguments were so convincing.
I felt like Boss was taking me for a fucking idiot, but beggars can't be choosers. I marked "two months later" down in my calendar and waited. During those two months, I was anxious that people would actually try to edit the Fandom Wiki, confirming to Fandom that its child audience still wants to click the first link they see. I was anxious that any information they wrote... would, very likely, be leeched off my work. Because if you're a kid (or the odd adult just discovering Wikis) and just learning anything about Akudama Drive, the current state of things is that you probably learned it from something I wrote or put together.
(To be extra clear, this isn't cool. Thankfully, I am an experienced Wiki admin who's extremely thorough with sourcing, so you don't have to "just trust me": but that more people haven't been putting in the work isn't cool. It's just how it is.)
Anyway, that didn't happen, because no one gives a shit about that Wiki.
I contacted Fandom again, and apparently, was still met with Boss.
Oh that's so weird. So now my request is irrecevable by Fandom? Stop wasting my time.
On April 14th, Boss had sent me a message including: "though I really do appreciate you taking the time to explain things here - it makes a difference, even if it might not seem like it right now" and "As for next steps, I would say we can definitely review this request after some time. I don't have a specific time frame - but I would suggest at least a couple of months, and then you’re welcome to reach back so we can take another look, especially given what you mentioned about the wiki's topic." This was NEVER true. And I don't know if Boss knew it, but I knew it.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, these are the following and last messages in this exchange.
Boss mistaking an anime for a game is the least of my problems and just served to prove my argument. Anyway - I went in knowing full well that this would happen. My only chance was if I coincidentally ran into a staff member who was just about to quit and thus likely to be on my side. Realistically, that wasn't going to happen.
It mattered to me to at least try. Once again, I am confident that reading the Wiki that's on Miraheze is a better and more informative experience. If in 3 years some new fan takes up the Fandom Wiki and decides to waste their time rebuilding it, I'll have done my best to create a better experience for everyone and it'll be out of my hands. If they decide to do it by copying my work... I'll be powerless about it.
And I do care, but there's a limit to it. I can only accept defeat.
Please trust that I:
am an experienced Wiki admin
have been relaying Akudama Drive information since before it came out (example for proof)
still love Akudama Drive and enjoy doing this work, so I will continue to update the Wiki in any way I can for as long as I can
I am sorry to anyone who misses out on the real Akudama Drive Wiki, since it has so much more, more proofread, and better sourced information. If you don't want to be that person:
Install the IndieWikiBuddy extension to be directed away from Fandom Wikis when an alternative exists
Enjoy reading the Akudama Drive Wiki on Miraheze!
How you can help:
Don't bother reading or editing the AD Fandom Wiki, it has no administration and little readership (source: I was a Bureaucrat until very recently; this is also why I'm telling you with confidence that it full-on moved, this is not a story about a counter-Wiki or an editors' dispute. It was also my Wiki and it's no longer relevant.)
Visit the AD Miraheze Wiki! Just that will help.
Edit that typo or that page that's missing information! If you don't know how to get started, I'm eager to help. It's okay if you don't get it right on the first time, just be ready to fix it when you learn!
Link to the AD Miraheze Wiki on your social media or personal website! This also helps SEO. Like just consider shouting it out whenever relevant!
So what does the future look like?
I'm a serious Wiki editor who's going to continue making information about this specific media accessible. Feel free to reach out to me if you need me. If you don't particularly care to read the information I've made available, good for you!

Why Irish Businesses Should Always Maintain Their Websites
Since so much is pulled up online, your website may be the first interaction a customer has with you. Having a good-looking website can separate businesses in Limerick, Galway and even Dublin from rivals, allowing them to attract new customers.
We have assisted many Irish businesses and what we notice most is that keeping your website up to date helps maintain your online reputation and promotes growth in the future.
In the following sections, we will focus on why maintaining your website is important for your business.
1. First Impressions Matter
You would make sure the area near your store was tidy, fresh and not damaged. What is the point of doing it again in the cyber world?
Most of the time, a potential customer’s first contact with you happens when they visit your site. If the site takes a long time to open, links do not work, the information is old or the appearance is outdated, it gives a feeling that nobody cares. This scares off visitors and weakens your reputation.
If you regularly look after your website, it will continue to be fresh and serve its purpose, making people trust it and enjoy it.
2. Security Should Always Be Considered from the Beginning
More organizations are under cyber attacks and even small businesses are being targeted. Almost all the time, WordPress, Joomla, Magento and other content management systems make security updates to guard against new risks.
If you do not maintaining of your site:
Your customer details could be taken by fraudsters.
A search engine may blacklist your website.
Our maintenance services at Flo Web Design include regular security audits, updates for plugins and malware scans to give you a worry-free website and protect your visitors.
3. SEO depends on regular website maintenance
Google and other search engines prefer websites that get updated and maintained frequently. If a site is slow, features old information or isn’t accessible on mobile, it will be given a lower ranking by search engines.
Keeping your website updated makes it better:
How fast web pages are loading
Mobile responsiveness
Metadata and organized data
Dealing with broken links
Content freshness
As a result, your website becomes more visible to search engines, it gains higher positions and gets more traffic.
4. Improve the way users interact with the application
Website users today want sites that are easy to use and quick to respond. Anything that makes the site slow such as images that don’t load or ancient navigation, will lead them to leave.
Maintaining the website often helps keep:
All the links and pages are accessible.
Pictures and videos are displayed without any errors.
Checkout, buttons and forms work efficiently.
Updates are made to give the program a new look.
A seamless experience for users will make them more likely to stay and possibly become paying customers.
5. Making Sure Your Content is Up-to-Date
Information about companies can vary—such as their prices, services, working hours, contact details, special deals, employees and similar elements. If the changes aren’t reflected on your website, it confuses your customers and decreases trust.
If your site is updated, you demonstrate that your business is lively and interested in its customers.
Our team at Flo Web Design ensures that Irish companies update their content, update their blogs and remove any old materials from their website.
6. This involves backing up and recovering your data
Website crashes can happen for reasons such as plugin conflicts, issues with the server, hacking or making a mistake while deleting something important. If you don’t back up your files often, you could lose everything you have worked on for a long time.
With our maintenance package, your site is backed up automatically, making it easy and quick to restore it and continue your business.
7. The standards of both Compliance and Performance
All Irish businesses should follow the rules set out by GDPR. Failing to keep your contact forms and cookie policies current could result in serious fines and legal issues.
Maintenance done regularly will help your website:
Follows the necessary regulations for data protection.
The website is fast to load on every type of device.
Still works properly after OS and browser updates.
It’s more important to establish trust and eliminate risks than just fulfilling the requirements.
8. Making Your Website Resistant to Future Changes
Technology keeps advancing all the time. Plugins become old, browsers are updated and people’s needs change.
When you maintain your website regularly, it grows with your business. If you add new features, boost e-commerce or update the design, frequent upgrades help you not have to begin again.
How a Retailer in Ireland Benefited from Website Maintenance
A shop in Cork contacted us for help because their site was down for two days. Since the developers failed to update the site’s plugins or security measures for more than a year, the site was breached.
We recovered the site from our backup, removed the malware, updated the plugins and applied the best security measures. By opting for a monthly service package, they haven’t experienced any downtime and now get 35% more online inquiries due to faster performance.
Take action before a problem arises. Keeping your computer well-maintained is like having insurance.
So, What Services Are Part of Website Maintenance with Flo Web Design?
Our services include packages that are customized for businesses in Ireland.
Keeping an eye on security
Ensuring a fast website
Links on your website are checked for breaks
Backup & recovery
Updates on GDPR compliance
Updates to the content (upon request)
We’ll take care of your website’s back end, helping it run as efficiently as you run your business.
Conclusion
Just as you maintain a car regularly, you should keep your website up to date. This rule also applies to the internet. A secure, effective and successful website depends on regular upkeep.
Your website’s updates, security and page issues are all taken care of by Flo Web Design. We handle all the necessary jobs, allowing you to focus on your business.
Want to Maintain Your Site in the Best Way Possible?

Why Regular Maintenance Matters

March 2024 Google Update: Essential Insights and Quick Recovery Tips

If you’re a website owner or someone who keeps an eye on internet trends, you might have heard about the March 2024 Google update. This update shook up the world of online search and left many website owners scrambling to understand what happened and how to recover if their site was affected. In this blog post, we’ll break down everything you need to know about the March 2024 Google update, and we’ll provide you with some quick tips to help your website bounce back if it took a hit.
What Was the March 2024 Google Update?
Google frequently updates its search algorithm to improve the quality of search results for users. These updates can have a significant impact on how websites are ranked in search engine results pages (SERPs). The March 2024 Google update was one such algorithm update that introduced changes to how Google ranks websites.
Key Insights from the March 2024 Google Update
One of the main focuses of the March 2024 update was improving the relevance and quality of search results. Google aimed to prioritize websites that offer valuable and authoritative content, while penalizing sites with low-quality or spammy content. Here are some essential insights from the update:
Quality Content Matters More Than Ever: Google continues to prioritize high-quality content that provides value to users. Websites with well-researched, informative, and engaging content are more likely to rank well in search results.
User Experience Is Crucial: Google now pays closer attention to user experience metrics, such as page load speed, mobile-friendliness, and overall website usability. Websites that offer a seamless and enjoyable browsing experience are rewarded with higher rankings.
Authority and Trustworthiness Are Key: Google values websites that are seen as authoritative and trustworthy sources of information. Building credibility through backlinks from reputable sites, expert content, and positive user reviews can help improve your website’s rankings.
E-A-T (Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) Matters: Google’s E-A-T guidelines continue to be important for determining a website’s credibility. Websites in sensitive niches, such as health and finance, need to demonstrate expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness to rank well.
Quick Recovery Tips
If your website was negatively impacted by the March 2024 Google update, don’t panic. There are steps you can take to recover and improve your site’s rankings. Here are some quick tips:
Audit Your Content: Conduct a thorough audit of your website’s content to identify any low-quality or outdated pages. Remove or improve thin content, duplicate content, and pages with little value.
Improve User Experience: Enhance your website’s user experience by optimizing page speed, ensuring mobile responsiveness, and improving navigation. A user-friendly website is more likely to rank well in search results.
Focus on Quality Backlinks: Build quality backlinks from relevant and authoritative websites in your industry. Avoid spammy link-building tactics and focus on earning natural, high-quality backlinks over time.
Optimize for E-A-T: Demonstrate expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness throughout your website. Showcase credentials, certifications, and testimonials to build trust with your audience and with Google.
Stay Informed and Adapt: Keep abreast of Google’s algorithm updates and industry best practices. Continuously monitor your website’s performance and make adjustments as needed to stay competitive in the ever-evolving world of SEO.
In conclusion, while algorithm updates like the March 2024 Google update can be daunting, they also present an opportunity for website owners to reassess their strategies and improve their online presence. By focusing on quality content, user experience, authority, and trustworthiness, and by implementing the recovery tips outlined in this post, you can navigate algorithm updates more effectively and position your website for long-term success in the digital landscape.

Navigating The New Terrain: Google's SEO Starter Guide Update 2024
The Google SEO Starter Guide is a fundamental resource for anyone looking to understand and implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for their website. With the digital landscape continually evolving, staying updated with the latest SEO practices is crucial for maintaining visibility and relevance in search engine results. Recently, Google announced a major update to its SEO Starter Guide, which is set to bring significant changes to how SEO is approached in 2024 and beyond.
The Evolution of Google’s SEO Starter Guide
The original version of Google’s SEO Starter Guide was a comprehensive manual that provided website owners and webmasters with essential information on optimizing their sites for better search engine rankings. This guide covered a range of topics, from site structure and content creation to mobile optimization and analytics.
Key Features of the Original Guide
Site Structure and Navigation: Emphasized the importance of a well-organized website for both user experience and search engine crawling.
Content Quality: Stressed the need for original, valuable content tailored to the target audience.
Mobile Optimization: Addressed the growing importance of mobile-friendly websites.
Use of Keywords: Offered advice on using keywords effectively within the content.
Analytics and Monitoring: Guided on using tools like Google Analytics to track performance and user engagement.
Anticipated Changes in the 2024 Update
According to recent announcements, the updated Google SEO Starter Guide is set to introduce new best practices and remove outdated advice, reflecting the evolving nature of search engines and user behavior. Here are some expected changes:
Enhanced Focus on User Experience (UX): As search algorithms become more sophisticated, UX is likely to play a more central role in SEO. The update might provide in-depth insights on creating user-centric designs and content.
Increased Emphasis on Mobile-First Indexing: With mobile searches dominating, the updated guide will probably place more stress on mobile-first indexing, ensuring sites are optimized for mobile users first.
Greater Importance on Page Speed and Performance: Site speed and performance have become crucial ranking factors. The new guide may offer advanced tips on improving site speed and overall performance.
Content Relevance and Quality: Given the advancements in natural language processing, the guide is expected to delve deeper into creating content that’s not just keyword-rich but also contextually relevant and of high quality.
Voice Search Optimization: With the rise of voice-assisted devices, the updated guide might include strategies for optimizing content for voice search.
Data Privacy and Security: In light of increasing concerns over data privacy and security, the guide may incorporate best practices for maintaining site security and user privacy.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: The guide might touch upon the growing influence of AI and machine learning in SEO and how to adapt strategies accordingly.
Implications for Website Owners and SEO Professionals
The updated Google SEO Starter Guide will be more than just a manual; it will be a comprehensive roadmap to navigating the complexities of modern SEO. Website owners and SEO professionals must adapt strategies to align with these changes. Embracing a more holistic approach to SEO, focusing on user experience, and staying informed about the latest trends and technologies will be imperative for success in the ever-changing digital landscape.

Recent SEO & Marketing News for Ecommerce, November 2023
As promised, here is the separate report on marketing and SEO news for ecommerce businesses, up to the end of November. This is now separate from the ecommerce report (which will be out in the next week or so).
I probably won't be posting SEO and marketing news again until the new year, so this is my chance to remind you that I plan on leaving Twitter soon. You can still keep caught up here on Tumblr, plus daily on Bluesky and on LinkedIn. My plan is to have a new way to follow my news posts in a more timely fashion early in 2024, so stay tuned!
SEO: GOOGLE & OTHER SEARCH ENGINES
Google launched another core ranking update on August 22, which ended on Sept. 7. eBay, Amazon and Etsy lost a fair amount of page visibility in the UK, according to this analysis. The US version of the same study saw large drops for the same 3 sites, while sites with “user-generated content” did well. Then Google released a Helpful Content update, which finished on September 28. Sites with poor UX (user experience, for example too many pop-up ads) and too much focus on on-page SEO seem to be experiencing the worst effects. Google also gave out tips on what might be considered “unhelpful.” Then, Google rolled out the October Core update, which ended October 19. But wait, there’s more! They also did a November core update, which finished at the end of the month.
Google has long denied using click data to determine search ranking, but the current antitrust hearings have revealed a different story. We also learned that it cost $26.3 billion in 2021 alone to buy spots as the default search engine in many browsers and devices. Here are more revelations about search ranking from the trial.
Deleting old content will not necessarily help your Google rankings or traffic. However, if Google is penalizing your pages because it deems them “unhelpful”, removing those less-helpful pages will probably help the site overall.
Internal links on each important page of your website will generally result in better Google traffic. The study covers 23 million links, but the author notes it only demonstrates correlation, not causation. Different anchor text for the same link is an even better predictor of Google search traffic. Note that Google staff recently stated links aren’t a top-3 ranking factor any more, though.
Optimizing category/collection/section pages can provide a big SEO boost on an ecommerce website. Here are some tips.
Google recently started showing follower counts for social media links in search results, but says they are not a ranking factor.
Large media sites overwhelmingly rank at the top of Google search for common queries in many areas. It’s an interesting read.
My periodic reminder that “LSI keywords” don’t help your SEO. LSI is an outdated method of data analysis that tries to find connections between words, but it was invented before the internet as we know it existed, and simply isn’t relevant for Google. Yes, related words are good, but LSI is not the way to find them.
Semi-advanced content: how to figure out your potential buyers’ path to your product through Google data. This is a little more detailed than figuring out which problems people have and how you can solve them, but the basic idea is there.
In case you missed everything on Google in August, here is a roundup, then you can catch up on September, and finally, October’s changes.
Not Google
Bing Chat (basically, regular Bing search with Chat GPT involved) is now known as “Copilot”. The name change alone is unlikely to increase traffic, though, which is showing very little gain on Google despite the AI-driven search experience.
Yahoo’s search redesign is expected to start appearing in early 2024.
Yandex, the top Russian search engine, is for sale.
SOCIAL MEDIA - All Aspects, By Site
General
Branding is an important part of social media for businesses; here are some good tips on representing your business well and getting seen. As I always remind folks, you don’t need to be on every platform; that can actually be harmful. “It’s unlikely your audience will be active on every single social media platform, especially considering how many are out there in this day and age. Be thoughtful about which platforms you want to leverage for your social media presence. Once you know where your audience is most active, ask yourself whether the platform itself aligns with your brand values, story, identity, and tone of voice.”
Facebook (includes relevant general news from Meta)
European users can soon pay a subscription to opt out of advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
Facebook uses member information to train its artificial intelligence models, but you can opt some of your data out of that process. Unfortunately, “[t]here’s no guarantee from the company that it’ll delete it, or that it’ll provide you with the information you’re asking for, even if it’s yours.” Also, this only includes the outside data and not your actual posts.
Meta has new AI-tools for its ads, but not all accounts have access yet, as they continue to test. Ad revenue was up 23% in the third quarter.
Instagram
Just like many other platforms, Instagram has issues with people advertising illegal things for sale. They are also blocking people posting research on the problem, instead of blocking the illegal ads.
The basics of Instagram SEO: “The platform says there isn’t one Instagram algorithm. Instead, there’s a personalized set of classifiers and processes for each user.”
LinkedIn
Like most sites, LinkedIn is looking to upgrade some features with AI, but unlike most sites, it is planning on summarizing the feeds of its Premium subscribers so they don’t have to read everything.
Yes, SEO can help you get found on LinkedIn.
Pinterest
Pinterest is now a bigger shopping destination for Gen Z, who are now the site’s “fastest-growing audience”.
Reddit
Reddit removed its awards earlier this year, and will be replacing them with gold awards only, and will also pay top creators who earn at least 10 gold a month.
Reddit may end up blocking Google and Bing from crawling the site, as a way to stop AI training.
Snapchat
Snapchat ad revenue led to an improved 3rd quarter for Snap, but the company is still losing money.
Threads
Threads - Meta’s Twitter competitor - continues to get upgrades, with polls and GIFs added recently. Apparently the site has almost 100 million users every month. They are now planning to launch in the EU by the end of the year.
TikTok
TikTok may be considering a ban on links to products for sale on other sites, although the company denied it. This may be to protect their own shopping platform: “Consumers in the U.S. are currently spending around $3 million to $4 million a day on TikTok Shop, up from around half a million to $1 million a day in June, the report says. TikTok staffers expect this number to exceed $10 million by the end of the year.”
That beta test is now live: TikTok Shop is officially in the United States. “As part of the rollout, the company is bringing features such as a dedicated shop tab on the home screen, live video shopping, shoppable ads and affiliate programs for creators…TikTok execs told The New York Times that more than 90% of sellers on TikTok Shop were based out of the U.S.”
Longer videos may be a TikTok goal, as they are easier to place ads with.
Twitter
Twitter continues to die, losing users since it was sold. Advertisers are leaving completely, and others are not posting content. (Etsy has not posted any promotions on Twitter since November 14.)
Musk keeps stating Twitter may start charging users, and the company is forcing new members in New Zealand and the Philippines to pay $1 a year if they join via the web and want to tweet or retweet, i.e., they can still read without paying. A phone number is also needed for verification of new accounts in these countries.
Twitter removed headlines from news link cards, but will be bringing them back soon.
Tumblr
Tumblr will be rolling back some changes and focussing on “the core functionality” of the site, after many new features failed to gain traction.
YouTube
Look for new AI video tools on YouTube in the near future; the new “Create” app is currently in beta for Android.
If you produce Shorts for YouTube, you will want to know how that algorithm works.
(CONTENT) MARKETING (includes blogging, emails, and strategies)
Gmail, Yahoo and AOL are all implementing new email rules in 2024 that may impact some types of email newsletters, although most major companies have already complied with the new requirements.
While Gmail hides your promotional emails, Yahoo is now offering new AI tools that will find those missing “gift cards, discount codes and store credits that people may have forgotten about.”
Newsletter option TinyLetter is being shut down by Malichimp.
Substack users: be aware that your subscribers may see your address and phone number unless you change the default setting.
The first step in writing content isn’t necessarily doing SEO keyword research [I’d argue that products are different than content, though, and that even forum or social driven content could benefit from a bit of SEO.]
Looking for content marketing topics for December? Here are 5 ideas to get working on, and if you have some free time, get a head start on January.
ONLINE ADVERTISING (EXCEPT INDIVIDUAL SOCIAL MEDIA AND ECOMMERCE SITES)
Did you know there are tools to track ads from different companies on many ad sites? Some are even free. [includes TikTok, Meta, Google and LinkedIn]
Ecommerce advertisers may find Amazon a better place to spend their budget compared to Google Ads. “Amazon’s search volume comprises 54% of all product-related searches in the United States.”
Google’s third quarter was decent, but Cloud revenue was below projections while ad money was up. Microsoft’s ad revenue also improved.
Chrome plans on ending all third-party cookies by the end of the third quarter 2024, and will start with 1% of users in early 2024. This will affect some types of ads, if you are wondering why platforms start changing.
Anyone using Google’s Performance Max campaigns may be interested in this overview of how to get the most out of them, with screenshots.
STATS, DATA, TRACKING
Since a lot of people still can’t figure out Google Analytics 4, here is yet another good overview.
This new YouTube video from Google shows you how to figure out traffic sources in Google Analytics 4.
Still working on moving to GA4? Here’s a bit more info, including how to save your old UA data.
For video learners, here is “5 reasons for using Google Search Console”. [YouTube, 3 mins.]
BUSINESS & CONSUMER TRENDS, STATS & REPORTS; SOCIOLOGY & PSYCHOLOGY, CUSTOMER SERVICE
A report out of the UK on small business use of online platforms calls for the UK government to better protect small businesses from the power differential often evident in these relationships.
Amazon’s Prime Day sales barely beat last year, while their competitors actually dropped. [Washington Post gift link] Some analysts think this bodes poorly for the holiday season, and that consumers are looking for discounts.
Around 50% of Generation Zers in the US plan to shop in malls this holiday season, and people in general plan on spending less this year. But another study said nearly half of Gen Z shoppers will make at least some purchases on social media, while the US average is just ⅓. Most online holiday shopping will take place on mobile instead of computers, and ecommerce shopping will be up less than 5% per some reports, and over 10% according to others. Black Friday stats also indicate that mobile outpaced desktop - smart phones delivered 54% of online sales. “Global data from Shopify also showed strong mobile performance for merchants on that platform. Mobile versus desktop 76% to 24%, respectively.”
Large companies report that various types of consumer fraud are on the increase, and cost $100 billion annually.
IMAGES, VIDEO, GRAPHIC DESIGN, & FREE ONLINE TOOLS
Thinking of using AI to create some products and images to sell? Be aware that AI art is not copyright-protected, at least in the US at the moment. A recent case led the court to rule that “human authorship is a bedrock requirement of copyright.” [article includes a copy of the entire case]
Need some free web design tools? Practical Ecommerce has a recent list of 19, and an even more recent list of 17.
MISCELLANEOUS (including humour)
A snarky article in the Verge had SEOs all worked up, and some were very defensive about it. I thought the whole thing was hilarious.
Reminder that there are usually consequences for (and laws against) improper use of a customer’s private information, which includes asking them on a date. “Almost one in three people aged 18-34 have received unwanted romantic contact after giving their personal information to a business, a UK poll has shown.”
Do you know what happens to your website and social media accounts when you die? Sometimes, even the platforms get confused about this, and there are few laws.
Jewellery finding company TierraCast is closing by the end of 2023.

Weird thing is it seems bizarrely incompetent.
The owners of the .ai TLD (Anguilla) are notorious for pulling domains back (without refund) for wide varieties of content
the owner(s) of the domain name bought it through NameCheap or a reseller buying through NameCheap (which is... better for small personal sites, if that).
But they don't have much on the DNS: no cname, no MX (meaning they can't receive e-mails), no DKIM or SPF (meaning they can't send to almost anyone).
The weird location problems are cloudflare being cloudflare; you get the 'best' Cloudflare cache, rather than the originating server. Normally the solution is to check DNS histories, but they've been using Cloudflare since at least May.
It's running NGINX (yay!), but an ancient version (1.18, which was outdated in late 2020) on Ubuntu (fuckers). Probably just a side effect of running Ubuntu LTS on a server, but this is why you don't do that on a serious machine.
The password prompt being funky is just because they used rather the wrong input 'type' HTML tag. That only effects rendering on the client, so don't use that to trust whether a site is doing something naughty with your info. (And don't trust this site with any of your passwords used elsewhere.)
Browsers not treating it as a normal sign in could be downstream of that, or because of the way it handles two different pages for e-mail and password. There's ways to fix the latter, but I'd have no idea where to start with this jank.
They have SSL set up (probably for to get boosted in search), but it's using Google Trust Services, which you shouldn't:
the code looks like what I'd expect a self-taught first-year web dev student to put together, and not even in a 'they used an LLM's output directly' sorta way. It's not generic, it's just weird. Inline script tags near the end of the html document, but still in the body tags? What?
the images are in jpg format (does save bandwidth, but pretty harsh impact on image quality for these types of image. Maybe done to removes a lot of model information that AIGen tools put into the PNG Chunk info, but you can do that with a imagemagick script)
B/c of the that, I can't say the model for sure, but maybe a finetune for StableDiffusion 1.x? That'd be iffy choices in May: by now Flux.1 absolutely shreds these things, in particular often eliminating many of the 'AI telltales'.
It's got no online presence beyond bots. Even AIgen discords I'm in don't seem aware of it, it has no social media presence under its real name, so on.
The theft methodology is bizarre. Using img2img as a way to avoid getting caught by artists for something even aiGen proponents see as art theft has long been a concern and possibility, but like... this is pretty clearly lifted from this tumblr user -- there's absolutely no way that those tag combinations happened by accident. But process-wise, did they try to throw one image into CLIP interrogator, run a different image and resulting prompt through img2img at a low denoising ratio, and then just slap it up directly? That's slower, more readily detected, and gonna look worse than just running from a raw prompt, or the CLIP prompt itself! And here it's obviously worse than the source images or a new prompt.
((The resolutions for images are also odd, especially if they had to use image upscaling to make it work. That clone above is 1200x1200, for example, where the original image is 1000x1000. Low denoising ratios can sometimes let you get away with weird stuff, but that looks more like someone who either doesn't know what they're doing or set up a script with some weird assumptions.
Giving the site a normal prompt 'required' a 'sign-in' for the 18+ (hah), but produced a 896x1152 image, which is... not what any direct model usage or upscaling does as a default. The prompted image did not show up on the front page.
On the other hand 'login' is preserved... kinda, as a single cookie with a 'k' and 'uuid' value, with an expiry date of one year. Weird way of doing that, and not even in a security-problem sense. Passwords are checked, even though it doesn't give an error if you put in a wrong password -- which means they're being stored on the server, and I absooooolutely would not trust the dev to have implemented proper salting and hashing of those passwords.
They're probably using a style LoRA and/or preprompt on text prompts. An intentionally bad prompt didn't get a garbage output of the sort I'd expect from SD1.x or SDXL. Which is at least something, but means they're gonna hit token limits pretty early.
Normally, I'd say e-mail harvester scam, but the lack of confirmation e-mail (or way to send a confirmation email) means that whoever's running it is going to get a lot of e-mails that don't exist. Scamming people for password reuse is a little more plausible and would explain the lack of e-mail confirmation (low friction!), especially given the lack of other sign-in options, but the lack of other social media presence is weird.
Might just be some tech novice that thinks he or she has an idea they could eventually monetize, and no ethics on the way to get there -- it does notably say "beta" in a few spots. But then the social media spam and overt tag and image theft makes even less sense: even if they could come up with a model to sell imagegens (or ads to sell...), users wouldn't get anything like these outputs they're promoting.
It's Time To Investigate SevenArt.ai
sevenart.ai is a website that uses ai to generate images.
Except, that's not all it can do.
It can also overlay ai filters onto images to create the illusion that the algorithm created these images.
And its primary image source is Tumblr.
It scrapes through the site for recent images that are at least 10 days old and has some notes attached to it, as well as copying the tags to make the unsuspecting user think that the post was from a genuine user.
No image is safe. Art, photography, screenshots, you name it.
Initially I thought that these are bots that just repost images from their site as well as bastardizations of pictures across tumblr, until a user by the name of @nataliedecorsair discovered that these "bots" can also block users and restrict replies.
Not only that, but these bots do not procreate and multiply like most bots do. Or at least, they have.
The following are the list of bots that have been found on this very site. Brace yourself. It's gonna be a long one:

The oldest ones have been created in March, started scraping in June/July, and later additions to the family have been created in July.
So, I have come to the conclusion that these accounts might be run by a combination of bot and human. Cyborg, if you will.
But it still doesn't answer my main question:
Who is running the whole operation?
The site itself gave us zero answers to work with.
No copyright, no link to the engine where the site is being used on, except for the sign in thingy (which I did.)
I gave the site a fake email and a shitty password.
Turns out it doesn't function like most sites that ask for an email and password.
Didn't check the burner email, the password isn't fully dotted and available for the whole world to see, and, and this is the important thing...
My browser didn't detect that this was an email and password thingy.
And there was no log off feature.
This could mean two things.
Either we have a site that doesn't have a functioning email and password database, or that we have a bunch of gullible people throwing their email and password in for people to potentially steal.
I can't confirm or deny these facts, because, again, the site has little to work with.
The code? Generic as all hell.
Tried searching for more information about this site, like the server it's on, or who owned the site, or something. ANYTHING.
Multiple sites pulled me in different directions. One site said it originates in Iceland. Others say its in California or Canada.
Luckily, the server it used was the same. Its powered by Cloudflare.
Unfortunately, I have no idea what to do with any of this information.
If you have any further information about this site, let me know.
Until there is a clear answer, we need to keep doing what we are doing.
Spread the word and report about these cretins.
If they want attention, then they are gonna get the worst attention.

Reputation Matters: Best ORM Services in Bangalore by AiPlex

Let’s face it — in today’s world, your online reputation can make or break you. Whether you’re a small business owner in Indiranagar, a tech startup in HSR Layout, or a big brand based in Whitefield, the internet doesn't forget. A single bad review, a misleading blog post, or a viral tweet can tarnish years of hard-earned trust. That’s where Online Reputation Management (ORM) comes into play. And if you’re in Bangalore, there’s one name that stands out — AiPlex ORM.
This article takes a deep dive into why reputation matters, what makes AiPlex ORM the top choice in Bangalore, and how they help individuals and brands turn negativity into trust.
Why Online Reputation is the New Currency
Think of your online image as your virtual handshake. It’s the first impression people get before they even talk to you. If someone Googles your name or brand and the top result is a complaint, it’s like showing up to a meeting with a coffee stain on your shirt. That’s not a good look, right?
In Bangalore’s competitive ecosystem — where tech firms, cafes, consultants, and creative agencies are all jostling for attention — credibility is everything. One wrong news article or outdated Reddit post can hurt leads, cost jobs, and even break investor trust.
Here’s why your online reputation needs care:
🔍 First impressions happen on Google.
💬 People trust reviews more than ads.
🧠 Negative news sticks in memory longer.
📉 Search results shape buying behavior.
🤝 Trust equals conversions.
That’s why forward-thinking businesses in Bangalore are investing in ORM — and doing it with experts like AiPlex ORM.
The Rise of ORM: More Than Just PR
Let’s be honest — ORM isn’t just digital PR. It’s deeper. It’s about understanding psychology, algorithms, SEO, and storytelling. It’s a long-term strategy, not a quick-fix magic wand. And AiPlex knows this better than anyone.
AiPlex ORM approaches online reputation with a blend of strategy, empathy, and tech expertise. They don’t just hide the bad stuff — they amplify the good. They tell your story right, so the world sees you as you truly are.
Here’s what sets them apart:
💡 Tailored ORM strategies for businesses, individuals, and startups
🛠️ Suppression of negative content through ethical SEO and media work
🧩 Content creation and optimization to fill search engines with positive info
🔎 Search result monitoring and analytics to stay ahead of reputation risks

How AiPlex Builds a Trustworthy Online Image
What makes AiPlex unique is their 360-degree approach to ORM. They don’t treat reputation as a surface-level issue. Instead, they go deep into the digital soil, planting the right seeds and removing weeds before they grow out of control.
Here’s how their process typically works:
Deep-Dive Analysis They begin with a reputation audit. What’s already out there? What needs attention? What’s hurting you and what’s helping?
Custom Strategy Design Based on your brand goals, they create a plan — not a copy-paste template — tailored for your audience, industry, and risk profile.
Content Creation & Distribution AiPlex creates blogs, videos, social posts, and PR stories that showcase your real strengths and build digital credibility.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Their team uses smart white-hat SEO to push positive content up the search rankings and move negative content out of the spotlight.
Ongoing Monitoring & Support Reputation is not static. AiPlex keeps monitoring and adjusting, ensuring your online identity remains clean and trustworthy.
And all of this is done with a human touch. No bots. No one-size-fits-all. Just a real team that gets your story and knows how to share it.
The Emotional Side of Reputation: Why It Hurts — and How AiPlex Helps
Let’s get real for a moment. A bad online reputation doesn’t just affect sales. It hurts on a personal level. If you’re a founder or a CEO, reading false accusations or troll attacks online can feel like a punch in the gut.
Many clients come to AiPlex feeling helpless, ashamed, or angry. Some have lost business partners. Others have seen career opportunities vanish overnight. AiPlex doesn’t just fix search results — they offer peace of mind.
Clients often say working with AiPlex feels like getting their voice back. That’s powerful. It’s not just about image — it’s about dignity, confidence, and moving forward with pride.

So, why choose AiPlex ORM over others? It boils down to trust, consistency, and care.
They’re not just tech wizards — they’re digital reputation artists. They know how to blend truth, tone, and timing to create a positive online image that lasts.
Their team includes SEO specialists, content writers, crisis managers, and analytics experts — all under one roof. Whether you’re dealing with a review bomb, a fake news article, or a personal attack, AiPlex has seen it before. And they know how to fix it.
Here’s what clients appreciate most:
❤️ Transparent communication — no sugar-coating
⏳ Long-term partnership — not just a project-based model
📊 Measurable results — they show you what’s changing, not just promise it
🛡️ Ethical practices — no shady black-hat stuff
Final Thoughts: Your Reputation Is Your Digital Legacy
At the end of the day, your online reputation is your story — told by Google, YouTube, Reddit, Quora, and a thousand little search engines that shape public opinion.
You can’t always control what people say. But you can shape what the world sees. With the right ORM partner, you can turn criticism into conversation, doubt into trust, and noise into narrative.
And if you’re in Bangalore, there’s no better ally than AiPlex ORM. They don’t just manage reputations — they protect dreams, repair images, and restore confidence.
So, if your digital shadow feels too heavy to carry, maybe it’s time to let someone who understands it all — fix it with heart, tech, and real storytelling.

SEO Depends on Site Health—And That Includes Cron Monitoring

When it comes to SEO, we often focus on content creation, keyword optimization, link building, and user experience. But beneath all of that lies a foundation that’s often ignored: site infrastructure and automation reliability. One of the most critical but overlooked components is cron job monitoring.
Cron jobs are automated tasks that power many behind-the-scenes SEO operations. When they silently fail, your site may still appear to function, but your SEO could be taking a serious hit. That’s why monitoring cron jobs with tools like WebStatus247 isn’t optional—it’s essential.
🛠 What Are Cron Jobs and Why Do They Matter for SEO?
A cron job is a time-based task scheduler in Unix-like systems. Web servers use cron jobs to automatically execute scripts at specific intervals—every hour, day, week, or custom frequency.
Here’s how they directly impact SEO:
Sitemap Automation: Keeping your sitemap updated and notifying search engines ensures faster indexing.
Cache Management: Clearing expired cache files helps maintain site speed.
Broken Link Checks: Regularly removing dead links improves crawlability and user trust.
Scheduled Content Publishing: Timely content updates signal fresh activity to search engines.
Image Optimization: Automatically resizing or compressing new uploads to maintain fast load times.
Without cron jobs doing these tasks, your site can gradually lose technical integrity—hurting everything from crawl budgets to page speed scores.
⚠️ Real-World Scenarios Where Cron Job Failures Hurt SEO
🔄 Sitemap Never Updates
Let’s say your sitemap.xml file hasn’t updated in weeks because the cron job failed. Google doesn’t know you’ve added 20 new blog posts. These pages stay unindexed—missing out on traffic, impressions, and ranking potential.
🧱 Broken Links Go Undetected
You have a cron job that runs a script to identify broken internal links. One day it silently fails. You continue publishing content, unaware that dozens of pages now link to 404 errors. Google starts lowering your site's quality score.
⏳ Sluggish Load Times
Your database cleanup cron job fails. As junk data builds up, your queries slow down and page load speed drops. This affects your Core Web Vitals, which are now a direct ranking factor in Google.
🕒 Missed Content Scheduling
You queue up posts for the next week—product updates, blog articles, promotional pages. But the publishing cron job crashes. Your audience sees no updates, and Google sees an inactive site.
✅ Why You Must Monitor Cron Jobs—Not Just Set Them
Setting up a cron job isn’t enough. They can:
Fail due to coding errors
Be interrupted by server issues
Get blocked by firewalls or security plugins
Conflict with other scripts
Be disabled during hosting migrations
And most importantly: they don’t usually alert you when something breaks. This is where WebStatus247 steps in.
🧩 How WebStatus247 Helps With SEO-Focused Cron Monitoring
WebStatus247 Cron Job Monitoring gives you full control and visibility over your automation stack. Features include:
🛑 Failure Detection: Get notified if a scheduled task doesn’t run or crashes.
📅 Custom Monitoring Intervals: Track hourly, daily, or even by-the-minute jobs.
📬 Real-Time Alerts: Receive instant alerts via email or SMS when things go wrong.
📈 Logging and Dashboards: View detailed logs to troubleshoot quickly and prevent repeat issues.
🔒 Secure Status URLs: Use simple HTTP or webhook pings for status confirmation.
By integrating this tool, you make sure your SEO tasks—especially technical SEO jobs—run like clockwork.
🔍 Technical SEO + Cron Jobs: A Perfect Pair
SEO experts and digital marketers know that technical SEO is just as critical as content. Google rewards websites that are fast, accessible, and technically sound.
Monitoring your cron jobs means you're doing the following:
Maintaining sitemap freshness
Avoiding broken or outdated links
Ensuring content freshness
Improving uptime and stability
Keeping page speed fast and lean
If you run backups, link audits, caching tasks, or image optimization via cron, these all contribute indirectly—but powerfully—to your SEO edge.
🧠 Final Thoughts: Don't Let Silent Failures Kill Your Rankings
SEO isn’t just about what's visible—it's also about the systems that support your site. If your background tasks aren’t monitored, they can quietly fail, and your rankings may drop before you even realize there’s a problem.
✅ WebStatus247 ensures that never happens.
