Intro post!!

Hi hi my name is Orion (he/pup/they) :> I’m a young adult member of a young adult DID system, and I’m transmasc in a transmasc body. Body is also white and disabled. I’m an introject of Gorou from Genshin Impact, but I act significantly different from source. I don’t have a super defined role but I do some caretaking, some obsessing over my partners, and some sex stuff so NO MINORS ON MY BLOG PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!

Body has BPD and NPD, and I’m definitely affected by our BPD but I like to pretend I’m not affected as much by our NPD (although I’m aware I love being dramatic and getting attention :> even from a hater). know what i dont think is talked about enough when it comes to introjects

this applies more to larger systems, but sometimes you just... introject from a source you don't interact with.

we had venti from genshin *long* before ever playing genshin impact or interacting with it. we have introjected people and watched their source *because* of that, rather than the other way around.

we've introjected characters from media that we've never seen even if we know their source (example: we got gorou before he was in game. yeah i can only think about genshin examples rn. sue me)

and it's just... there's a lot of things like that that can happen. we know a few other polyfrag systems who also have snap splits from media they don't consume or know much about. it's not an unheard of thing, at least in way larger systems, and it feels... very much like people aren't aware of this sometimes.

Hmmm… this is a hard one, most of our introjects are actually pretty distinct from their source. Only a few get offended or touchy about being compared to it. Id say probably Gojo or Arthur.

Powder and Tommy. Powders fine with her source, but Tommy is triggered by his.

Its sometimes awkward? The source mates are sometimes really attached to their source and will try to relive moments from it. For some of our introjects they dont feel very attached to the source and it can be awkward to discuss it with other source mates.

When I first met Kobeni i kind of thought she was annoying. She was very irritating, even though quiet. I eventually warmed up to her.

Uzui will sometimes, but not really. Sylvain has been trying to front a lot lately also, and seeing fanart of himself is a trigger for him to. Self centered lil ginger smh 😟

Sometimes! Powder prefers bright colors and even makes her own clothes sometimes. But Tohma doesnt want to wear clothing similar to his sources and disrespect the culture, so he just wears clothes with the same color scheme! Also, Yuri hates the clothes his source wears so he just chooses whatever.

They vary. Most of my alters who are non-introjects have more “important” roles. Almost all of our introjects are just ANP, and dont hold any special roles. But there is about…5? Maybe that have roles like caregiver/trauma holder/persecutor etc. It also depends on how long they’ve been apart of the system and know me.

Very few. And ones who do know, our introjects with names that arent from the bodys culture/ethnicity usually use a nickname. We dont want to disrespect a culture or appropriate it. For example, my introject Takashi goes by TK when fronting IRL.
