Age Regression Handbook
Tumblr media
A clear, compassionate guide by an age regressor, for regressors, caregivers, and anyone seeking honest understanding of age regression...
Combining thoughtful research, personal insight, and a firm rejection of fetishization, this handbook explores the emotional, psychological, and social dimensions of regression in its many forms.
It addresses difficult and sometimes triggering topics with care and respect. Age play is discussed solely to establish boundaries. If you're looking for anything sexual or exploitative, this is not the book for you.
This is a safe, supportive space created to affirm and empower those who regress.

personally i pronounce it based on how i feel😭 it’s mostly age-ree but on a sunday it might be age-reh…. maybe on tuesday it’s age-eer
How do you pronounce "agere" (short for "age regression")?
I've heard it be pronounced "age-eer", "age-ree", "age-reh" and a few other ways.
Just curious to see what the general consensus is in the community. ₊ ⊹₍ᐢᐢ₎

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Storytime: There was really only one time when Stanley was in actual very genuine danger of being revealed/captured by the governt. It all started with a traveling group of amateur "anomaly hunters" (AKA. poachers) arriving in town looking to make a quick buck by profitting off of whatever exotic creatures they managed to catch.
You can already kinda see where this is going.
So, the group arrived in town to harangue the townsfolk and wildlide in search of anything interesting they could potentially smuggle or sell off. However, they weren't a very experienced or organized group of poachers, and so they hadnt realized that Gravity Falls was a hot-spot for anomalies.
By sheer coincidence and luck, they somehow ended up missing every single sign of an anomaly that happened to pop up behind their backs unnoticed and then disappear out of sight when they looked. Just as the group deemed the town a dead-end and was prepping to leave, they noticed a strange tourist trap on the edge of town, owned by an even stranger "man" and his brother.
They decided to investigate, yada yada, and they eventually found out that Stanley was, in fact, definitely not human and most importantly: profitable!
So, when no one was looking unser the cover of night, they decided to jump Stan and restrain him like an animal while they discussed how they should transport him back to their van.
Too bad Stanford was there to throw a wrench in their plan! That was the first and only time Ford killed people with his own two hands in this AU. He didn't regret it.

in other thisisnotawebsitedotcom things, i do really love this one from mr stanford "laptops are an absurd pipe dream" "i'm gonna need all your floppy disks and uh. 8-tracks." pines
Tumblr media
like does ford have any idea what leaving someone on read means? have mabel and dipper had the chance by this point to tag team explain: a) that mobile phones exist b) that they have developed to the point where your average preteen now has an entire computer in their pocket c) the concept of text messaging? (and/or social media) d) that read receipts exist (i can't imagine he'd be a fan of this one given how private a person he was even before bill showed up) e) that they have become so ubiquitous that not replying to a message the instant you see it can be interpreted as a deliberate slight and f) that the kids now use that knowledge as an insult
or has he just heard mabel say it around the house and he has never heard those words in that order before but fuck it it sounds rude enough he's choosing to put it as the closing remark in his two sentence response to his ex that also includes the phrase "go choke on glass"

Journal 3’s references to Stan
Post-Weirdmageddon
Tumblr media
“I bristled at the idea of sharing my accomplishments with anyone. I shunned my brother for one dumb mistake, and I shunned Fiddleford for having the nerve to try to stop me from dooming the world.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I just couldn’t get over the idea of myself as the lone hero.. and it was Stanley who paid the price.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Trust shouldn’t be given unconditionally, but it should be given a chance to be earned. There is strength in having the humility to work with and sacrifice for others- a strength I now realize was in my brother all along.”
Tumblr media
"Stanley Pines was the man who saved the world, not me. I spent so long thinking he was a selfish jerk, and he turned out to be the most selfless man I've ever met in any dimension. If I'm totally honest, I must admit that he's a hero and I'm... a hero's brother. And I'm okay with that.
Thank goodness he is recovering his wonderfully twisted mind. And I vow to spend the rest of my days making things right between us... If only he gives me a chance."
Tumblr media
“When Stanley and I were kids, we would often read tales of the Sibling Brothers- about two boys who dedicated their lives to exploring mysteries together. With a new anomaly to investigate, I’ve been thinking about those tales more and more lately.”
Tumblr media
"Dipper is no longer my apprentice, and Fiddleford has a genuine career as an inventor ahead of him- so I think it's time for the Pines Twins to join forces again. At least, I hope so. I haven't discussed my idea with Stan yet. But if I know my brother, he will jump at the chance to find "money and babes.""
Tumblr media
"The path before us is clear. And it looks like this:"
Tumblr media
“I had suggested to Dipper that because of all the misfortune caused by them, we burn [the Journals] in the last campfire of the summer. Mabel, Soos & Stan all seemed very excited by this notion.”
Tumblr media
“You hold a record of one man’s folly and the kindness of a family that saved him from himself. It’s never too late to learn that growing old doesn’t have to mean growing up.”

Stan is a weird man, they've come to realise. He lives like his life is a stage not only when he's Mr Mystery but even behind closed doors.
The twins think he's being goofy, they think it's funny how he prances around like he's always got a role to play; he will turn away from them and throw a joke like they aren't there, winking at no on in particular, narrating his own actions and explaining them like you would on one of their school plays.
[Laughter] the children jump as a series ring around the house after one of their grunkle's quips and everything begins to change.
(Options of this!
1- Stanley is breaking the 4th wall, he's aware he isn't real: "Gravity Falls, really? You named the show after the town?"
2- Stanley thinks he's not real and is craycray. It's all in his head
3- the Mystery Shack Show basically, where their lives become a sitcom and Stanley is the only one aware until later)

How-To Pentalogy & New Agere Book
Hey there, to the few lovely followers keeping up with How to Not End Up Dead and my other stories—thank you for sticking around. I wanted to give a quick update!
I’m planning to post the next chapter of Mallory’s story tomorrow. I’ve been slowly working on it, and today I finally got a spark of energy that helped me start repolishing the draft. If all goes well, you’ll be getting two new chapters tomorrow.
Now, onto something else I’ve been working on: A new book.
I know—I already have Falling Up, This Doesn’t Belong in a Book, and several other projects in the wings. But I promise, this new one is worth your time. Especially if you’ve been here since Halfway to Okay was just called Baby back in 2023, and you got updates once in a blue moon.
This new book is age regression-themed, but it’s one I think anyone who needs comfort and softness can connect with—even if you’re mostly here for the How-To Pentalogy or my other more structured works.
"When the Snow Falls Sideways"
I’m excited to share a new project centered around Berry, a gentle and comforting character who inhabits Bellweather, a timeless, magical town where emotions guide the experience and time feels suspended. Berry, with his soft blue fur and warm presence, offers a safe and soothing space for anyone seeking comfort and calm, especially those who relate to age regression or simply crave a sense of peace.
This book isn’t structured like a typical novel. Instead, it’s a collection of short, intimate stories that invite readers into Berry’s world—a place filled with quiet moments, soft adventures, and familiar warmth. It’s designed to be an ongoing refuge you can visit whenever you need a break from the noise of the outside world.
Berry was born from a personal place, first appearing in a dream years ago and gradually becoming a source of comfort and friendship through my own experiences. Now, I’m sharing that space with anyone who might find solace here—a quiet haven for rest and emotional connection, without pressure or timelines.
If you’re looking for a gentle escape or a companion to ease restless feelings, Berry’s world is here to welcome you.

The more I think about it, the more I love the incredible Spock energy in "Journey to Babel" of "Jim, this is my shitty father who I never mentioned because he doesn't merit it and we're estranged, so my extreme professional success at your side against his better judgment owes nothing to him. Dad, this is Captain Kirk, my ex-teacher prodigy who completely trusts and admires me and just last month was willing to give up his career for me and, also like Mother with you, kind of forgets other people exist when I'm talking. He's the youngest starship captain in Starfleet history and a genius with nerves of steel and in fact the most perfect person in the universe btw so have fun navigating his authority. Live long and prosper :)"
(ngl Kirk being low-grade shitty with kids makes Spock moving past the baggage of his childhood by finding his own adoring ex-teacher to irrationally prioritize him all the more jakfgjk;djk; to me.)
