LOTS OF PUNK STAMPS! (part 1)

Here we are with another part of music genre stamps. Just like the goth stamps i made, its a "my favorite genre is in this stamp" + aesthetic stamp combo.

Punk genres listed for this batch, because theres so many punk genres

Anarcho-Punk (i.e. Crass, Rudimentary Peni, The Mob, Lost Cherrees)

Celtic Punk - punk + celtic music (i.e. Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly)

Chain Punk - from the meme involving "chain vs egg punk". Has more hardcore punk roots, aggressive

Egg punk - from the meme involving "chain vs egg punk". Quite similar to synth punk due to usage of synths.

Crust punk (i.e. Nausea, Axegrinder, Doom, Deviated Instinct. Aus Rotten)

D-Beat - artwork inspired by those "d beat album covers that has band members censored eyes". Bands like Discharge (where the genre name is from), Anti Cimex, Driller Killer

Emo/Emotional Hardcore (more focused on bands like Rites of Spring, American Football, Jimmy Eat World, and all of those stuff. I'll try to make a different emo stamp for the likes of MCR, Fall Out Boy, and Paramore)

Folk Punk (i.e. Pat the Bunny, Days n Daze, Mischief Brew)

Grindcore - even it's more related to metal. I decided to include here since it was rooted from hardcore punk. Example bands: Napalm Death, Extreme Noise Terror

Digital Hardcore - electronic music + hardcore punk. Some mostly use guitars (i.e. Rabbit Junk) and some will have mostly electronic sounds than guitar (i.e. Machine Girl). Decided to have more cyberpunk aesthetic for this, 'cause it sounds like stuff you play in middle of a fight in a cyberpunk world

Hardcore Punk - apparently "hardcore" can mean different music genres (Beatdown hardcore is one of it but theres also hardcore techno), but lets focus on the punk. Bands like Bad Brains, Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, and Minor Threat.

Horror Punk - spooky punk music. (i.e. Blitzkid, Misfits, Calabrese)

Oi! (i.e. Oi Polloi, Angelic Upstarts, Camera Silens)

Punk Rock - supposedly for the classic punk rock sound but stamp can be used for punk rock in general. Example bands: The Clash, Ramones, Sex Pistols

Ska punk (i.e. Operation Ivy, Less than Jake, Against all Authority)

Skate Punk - something you have heard on Tony Hawk pro skater games. Anyway... bands like NOFX, Suicidal Tendencies (also metal), Pennywise

Street Punk (i.e. GBH, Varukers, UK Subs)

Synth Punk (i.e the Screamers, Suicide, Devo)

I just want to enjoy heavy music without songs about raping dead women/nuns. It is SO much more common than you’d think. “It’s supposed to be controversial!!” Is it really controversial when violence against women is so common?? This is why I only listen to girl bands

Hey Dr Tingle,

I saw you post about the Adultswim show and you mentioned using grindcore tracks as guest intros. Any tracks in specific? I would love to a have tingle certified grindcore playlist.

Also hope your day is going well!

i will say that what i personally call grindcore is a little skewed as i mostly enjoy newer trots that are INFLUENCED by GRINDCORE but maybe a little more like experimental hardcore bands

lets start at the top. i enjoy THE CLASSICS like who most would say is first grindcore band NAPALM DEATH. also like PIG DESTROYER and CANNIBAL CORPSE that is what i think most buckaroos would think of. i like those bands

but for my personal way of what i am mostly just putting on when im trottin around day to day, the number one would be THE LOCUST

justin from THE LOCUST also has new band DEAF CLUB who are very good. with YOUR TIMELINE TONIGHT show i was originally interested in reaching out to buckaroo justin who is a bud of mine (the locust is soundtrack to CAMP DAMASCUS book trailer actually) and just have it be like late night talkshow where they are the house band

ANYWAY then you get even FARTHER from trot of grindcore but still more noise oriented ways (some would say mathcore) like BOTCH or DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN or CONVERGE

☆ミ Forget about cursing; it's all cool and stuff, but you're not 14 anymore, and you certainly don't need a curse in every sentence

☆ミ Stop buying trash; it's always quality over quantity

☆ミ Therefore: avoid fast food "restaurants" and choose the actual ones; fast fashion? not in this household, try buying some good quality clothes; and of course: cosmetics -- stop buying artificial products made by huge companies and go natural, find some local business that actually cares about the products they produce

☆ミ Do you really need it or did some ad/influencer told you so?

☆ミ Be mindful about things you own, and don't let them own you

☆ミ Same goes for money

☆ミ Treat yourself with the same compassion you treat your friends, no need to drag yourself down

☆ミ Don't be rude or pretentious towards the strangers, it's never worth it

☆ミ Good manners =/= being passive and letting people treat you poorly

☆ミ Seek authenticity and create genuine connections

☆ミ Don't use your phone when it's not necessary: talking with somebody, walking somewhere, eating your meals, using bathroom

☆ミ Keep order in your belongings

☆ミ Take care of your room, it's your living space. Try not to finish your day with an absolute chaos everywhere; if you're exhausted -- even five minutes before bed just tidying up a bit can make the difference
