He normally doesn’t stray very far from camp but his curiosity had gotten the better of him. Hacksaw had seen all sorts of mutants throughout his lifetime but none quite like that. He moves against the terrain expertly, careful not to be seen by anyone else. It’s not everyday that he lets his curiosity override his sense of responsibility. Then again, it’s not everyday he sees a walking shark. Hacksaw had seen the fellow a handful of times before – the first time he had to do a double take, pinch himself and rub his eyes – all in that order! We are truly living in strange times…

Uncharacteristically, he shuffles his feet at the question before giving a single, stern nod. He hadn’t known this unusual stranger for long but surely someone who only wanted the best spot to watch the sunset wasn’t too bad? Hacksaw maneuvers around her in silence, taking a seat before slowly presenting a closed fist facing upwards – his hand opening to offer a singular four-leaf clover. He's a bit awkward at making friends - or just being in the presence of others, really.

kali turns to watch the stranger again as he approaches. just because she trusts that she can handle herself doesn't mean she'll just leave herself open to the opportunity of attack, either. the man seems well-mannered enough, despite his vocal limitations, but you can never be too careful. people are good at surprising you. "would you like to sit beside me? the sunset will be starting soon. i can see it from the city, of course, but i do enjoy this spot."

Was rewatching Granada’s Boscombe Valley with my dad yesterday and HOLY SHIT, they are somehow even MORE married in that episode than ever. The time that isn’t spent investigating is filled with banter, flirting, teasing, inside jokes, and sickeningly fond looks of blinding adoration. They’re squished into each other’s side constantly, and they can instantly read each other’s minds.

Anyway what I’m saying is pls add some gifs at your leisure because I need them for research purposes

Hacksaw prided himself in his ability to keep his territory trespasser-free. No amount of humans or mutants alive capable of stopping him. That didn't mean he couldn't be surprised every once in a blue moon however. He stood there motionless but still concealed within the thick underbrush, eyes fixated on the large predatory cat at the edge of the border, seemingly somewhat aware of his presence. Hacksaw does a double take again, squints, then pinches himself. Yep, that's a tiger! First a bipedal shark, now a tiger? Something strange is going on in the city, he thought.
