Everytime I see Alastor with a ponytail in fanart, my first thought is “OMG ALASTOR IN A PONYTAIL LOOKIT HE’S SO PRETTY!!” But then my immediate next thought that I can never not think, as someone with a bob in the same style and length as Alastor’s, only curly and without an undercut, is that I CANNOT get my hair into a ponytail, it is simply impossible and it all falls out! I can only make a little sprig of ponytail in the very back! 😆 and his hair is even shorter in the back than mine because of the undercut, and when it’s cut at such a dramatic angle like that the ponytail just will not look like a very good ponytail hehe!

OLD TOON ALASTOR

Realizing I forgot to post the version of de-aged Alastor with his glasses on! He definitely doesn’t always wear them even though he maybe should because he’s a lil gremlin and can’t always be bothered with things like clear vision! I headcanon that Alastor wears the monocle for vision purposes and not just for aesthetics (and also hc that the eye with the monocle is farsighted and the other eye is nearsighted bc that’s my predicament LOL though I don’t always wear my glasses either because my vision kinda balances out unless I need to read something farther away than a couple of feet LOL) and when he was alive he wore glasses, though I imagine he was farsighted in both eyes while alive! We could imagine that his vision is more like when he was alive, or we could imagine that it’s more like my headcanon for him when he’s a demon, but in either case, the little guy gets a spiffy pair of glasses that he should wear more often and stop losing and/or breaking!
