I'm curious! What are your thoughts on Lilith? What are your theories and predictions on her? What do you hope to see from the show on her?
Thank you for asking!
I have a lot of thoughts on Lilith. For one, we know it can't be a coincidence that both her and Alastor left around the same time. We know Alastor isn't at full power because of a deal he made. There's a lot pointing to Lilith being the one he made a deal with, ergo her being the one who has him on a leash.
It explains why he sought Charlie out in the first place. He made it clear in the pilot (yes I finally watched it) that he doesn't think Sinners can be redeemed. So for him to disappear at the same time as Lilith and then reappear and partner with her daughter very much implies that she's the one he's indebted to.
Lilith and Adam made a deal and it's heavily implied that it was to grant her access to heaven. I think that Adam offered Lilith access to heaven to get her to stop influencing the uprising (as it's implied she does this in the first episode).
So what is Lilith and Alastor's deal and how did it come to be?
This is a stretch, but I think Alastor was hurt after a fight, maybe on the brink of death (either after his fight with Vox- Valentino says Alastor almost defeated him, this implies their fight ended in a draw- or maybe one of the Sins). Lilith found him and helped him, but didn't restore him to full power. Since, due to her deal, she could no longer encourage the uprising, she ensured that Charlie would be able to with the help of a powerful, cunning ally who could teach her how to influence, encourage, and lead.
(I mean, come on. The one thing Alastor taught her was how to use a smile to her advantage. To inspire her friends and leave her enemies guessing. And then he brought her to Rosie to test her abilities in gathering an army. Alastor is there to teach her, whether he shows it or not)
Charlie's love for her people had to have come from Lilith. Lucifer thinks lowly of Sinners after his attempts were crushed by Heaven, so it had to have been Lilith who encouraged that care. It was likely her influence that pushed Charlie to have those ideals. If More Than Anything is truly implying that she kept Charlie away from Lucifer, it could be so that his pessimism towards Sinners couldn't dissuade her.
Did you guys know that Charlie is apparently only 200 years old? Lucifer and Lilith have been in Hell for thousands of years, since the story of Adam and Eve. Isn't it kind of odd that they only had a kid in the 1800s? And why, after even that, did Lilith only get into Heaven 7 years before the current events?
Call me crazy, but I think Lilith has a game plan here. Here's what I think is happening:
Lilith loves her people. She doesn't think lowly of them because they're "bad people," she thinks they should be free to express themselves and be who they are
Lucifer regrets his choices. He regrets giving humans knowledge and blames himself for humanity being evil. Lilith realizes this and starts to resent him for it
Lilith thinks her people don't deserve to rot in Hell, as she resonates them being damned to her and Lucifer being punished when they had good intentions. She starts encouraging them to uprise and demand better
Sera, worried about the citizens of Heaven, gives Adam permission to start the Extermination
Lilith recognizes that this is a losing battle. Heaven is too strong and demons don't have the means to fight back. Her songs of influence haven't been enough and her people are suffering. So she convinces Lucifer to have a baby. Someone who will bring in a new era, and someone Heaven will never take as a serious threat until it's too late
Lilith has Charlie and raises her with love for their people and strong ideals. She tells the story of how her and Lucifer met, painting them as good people with good intentions and stressing that they were unfairly punished. Charlie takes this to heart, also wanting better for their people. Lilith keeps Charlie away from Lucifer, afraid that he'll have her thinking the worst of Sinners
As she raises Charlie, Lilith waits for the right moment she can put her plan into action. She happens upon the Radio Demon Alastor on the brink of death and takes the opportunity. She heals him, but seals his power, promising to restore it if he acts as a mentor to Charlie and teaches her how to lead the Demons against Heaven. Her end goal is either to complete the uprising against Heaven or redeem Sinners. I'm not sure, but getting rid of the Exterminations for good is definitely part of it. (I also think it's possible that Alastor challenged her, she made a deal depending on the outcome of their fight, and he lost. Either one works in this situation)
After making the deal with Alastor, Lilith reaches out to Adam. She agrees to stop the uprising if she can be welcomed to Heaven. This isn't to enjoy Heaven, it's to get herself out of the picture so that Sera and the other angels won't suspect that an uprising is what's actually happening
This is actually kind of supported by the deal Alastor and Charlie made. He gets a favor of his choosing at any time where she doesn't hurt anyone. This could very well be either getting her to convince Lilith to absolve their deal or pushing her into becoming the leader of Hell and liberating Hell, therefore fulfilling the deal.
Some people are suspecting that Lilith betrayed her husband, daughter, and people to live in paradise. And I can't believe that. Lilith, from what we've seen, takes pride in her people and was close with her daughter. And she's someone who prioritizes freedom, expression, knowledge, etc. I can't see her being content to live peacefully in Heaven. Ultimately, I think she's the one pulling the strings here and making sure Charlie is ready to be a leader when the time comes, liberating their people.
Lute is in for a ride awakening when Lilith does return to Hell

I am once again thinking about just how fucked up Kaiba is.
He talks a lot about how he dismantled Kaiba Corp as part of the military industrial complex and turned it into a game company, and that everything he's done has been to spite his step-father's memory, and yet...
He's still after power. A sense of security. His favourite game isn't about having fun anymore, it's about power. Even in a low stakes duel with Joey, he can't surrender that need for security. Out of context, it seems kind of silly, to view card games as this ultimate expression of power, but it actually makes a lot of sense.
The cards that Mokuba sneaks to Kaiba when they're young, particularly the handmade Blue Eyes card, played a big part in solidifying his determination to succeed at all costs. Those cards became a lifeline to him, and they became a way to visualise power when plotting his coup. They come to represent power, and his path to it.
And when Kaiba Corp became a game company, that card game actually did become a huge source of financial power and influence. As a child with a lot of issues regarding security (among other things) due to his being an orphan and Gozaburo's abuse, that power became his security. It's a source of stability and control, things he's not had since his parents died, it gives him an autonomy he's never had, and he's unwilling to part with any of it.
Being the best duelist is both a mark of pride and a symbol of his ultimate control. It proves that his sense of strategy and cunning and intelligence can't be beaten, that he can't be strong armed into defeat. Every game is a battle for power, and he can't stand to lose even a little of it, because if he does, it threatens him with losing control. And he can't abide by that. He won't be left helpless at the hands of others ever again.
It's why he can't stand the fact that he lost in his own tournament; it's the loss of control. He was going to secure his place and ensure that no one could ever beat him again, providing him with the only security blanket that matters, only to lose it again. Add in Yami and Yugi going on about fate and destiny - things that strip away control and autonomy - and of course he's going to react negatively. He doesn't want to feel helpless. He doesn't want his life to be in the hands of anyone but himself. He needs control, or he'll suffer again.
But the problem isn't that Kaiba is a fucked up child looking for security in his favourite card game. It's that he's a fucked up child with a multi-million dollar company that has very real influence over the lives of countless people, and we see multiple times that he's not willing to expend anything that doesn't benefit him personally. When Bakura ends up in a coma, he won't pause the finals to let him be taken to a hospital. When Joey is literally on the brink of death, Mokuba has to go behind his back to call for a rescue helicopter and explicitly tells the gang not to tell him. Multiple people are being hospitalised because of this one guy and Kaiba refuses to remove him from the tournament because if he does, he misses out on the chance to take his Egyptian God Card, aka a new layer to his security blanket.
He has very real tangible power, and he only extends it to his own benefit. He thinks that defanging Kaiba Corp was enough to make him different from Gozaburo, but it wasn't. He's just as ruthless, just as power-hungry, and just as indifferent to other people's suffering when it suits him. He has to be argued with, or choices have to be made without his knowledge.
And it's just... fucking sad. He has so little self-awareness about what he's become and what Gozaburo has made of him. He's become the very monster he despised, and his only saving grace is that he has people who give enough of a shit to argue back instead of deferring to him as yes men.
If Yugi hadn't confronted him in episode 1, and if Yami hadn't crushed the evil in his heart, then he would never have changed from his absolute worst self. And while Mokuba doesn't often stand up to him, when he does, Kaiba tends to listen. It might shock him - that's a different can of worms - but his decision will be swayed by Mokuba, which is no small feat.
The fact that there are people who will tell him no and stand up to him is the fine line between him and Gozaburo. The question is... does it make enough of a difference to really matter in the end?

This is how I think of Galvatron... and I am mostly extrapolating from what was on screen. Now am I reading things that weren't there? Maybe. But I like it.
1. Megatron is Megatron, we all know who he is. Leader of the Decepticons, started the Third Great War. His conflict with Optimus Prime brought that war to Earth. Longs to conquer the universe. Can he? Probably not. But he'll cause a lot of damage trying. He hungers for power. He rules through fear. But Optimus Prime is, as ever, the greatest thorn in his side. In War Dawn, when he first meets Prime... Prime is right, he's Megatron's worst nightmare. And worst of all, it's of his own making... when he gunned down Orion Pax. But hey, peace through tyranny... one day, he will control all.
2. He is finally defeated, humbled... humiliated. On the brink of death. Starscream chucks him out of Astrotrain. Easily. Without opposition. They're not afraid of him anymore. Was Soundwave loyal? Maybe, probably. But not quite loyal enough. No matter what happens, he's done. Megatron is done. It's over.
3. Along comes Unicron, the devil of legend... I doubt Megatron was a believer. And even with Unicron in front of him, his sheer ego won't allow him to bow down... Unicron makes him an offer. A new body, and new troops to command... the price? His freedom. His autonomy. Megatron says no and then, with oblivion before him... his ego is finally broken and he begs for it. He pleads for mercy. Optimus Prime, who faced death with grace and dignity was right, Megatron, in the end, wasn't made of sterner stuff.
4. A new body, more powerful than ever before. New troops. A second-in-command all other Decepticon and Predacon leaders would beg for. A new identity, a fresh start and yet still able to evoke the "ghost of Megatron". He easily re-takes what was once his. Re-asserts his will, and hey, he doesn't need Starscream anymore so he makes an example of him. The oh-so loyal Soundwave is still useful, but he no longer has his ear directly, he reports to Cyclonus and Scourge now. And best of all, Optimus Prime is dead... and he clearly doesn't regard Ultra Magnus as a threat of any kind. But, oh yes... he still needs to follow Unicron's commands. But he refuses to do so and in his pride and thirst for power, his hubris believing that he can control a god... he nearly dooms their entire race.
5. In a moment of desperation, Galvatron tries to strike an allyship against Unicron with a mere Autobot... which Autobot? He seems familiar, but clearly this Autobot is insignificant, but facing destruction he instead does battle at the behest of the master who holds his leash. Now, this isn't known to Galvatron, but Unicron must sense what kind of danger he's in at that moment. The Autobot is quick and agile, but ultimately not a threat of any kind. As soon as Galvatron manages to lay a hand on him, it's over... the Autobot is in his grasp. Cybertron is on the verge of destruction and ultimately servitude or destruction are what awaits him... so yeah, there's no satisfaction. And then it happens. He witnessed the birth of a Prime once before and no Decepticon leader wishes to see that twice. And then, before he knows it... it's over.
6. Weeks go by, months... and then he is found. Recovered by Cyclonus, Scourge, and the Sweeps. And what's left of him? He has physical power. He managed to retain most of his newfound might. But the control he desired? The Decepticons are in shambles and now... he no longer even has full control of himself. Will he rule the galaxy? Or will he just tear it all down just to watch it burn. He is the nth degree of what he was and yet, somehow still a shadow of his former self. Once he ruled through fear, now he rules through terror. Traitors are executed or banished at the first sign of acting against him. And yet, maybe this makes him even more dangerous.
Being a Galvatron fan is weird, cos like, there's a lot of potential hidden in his character and you want to see him as a really cool villain, but in the original G1 show all he ever does is get angry and hit people. So then when you go to read fics and all everyone ever writes him as is an angry guy that hits people and you're like "I know you're being accurate to the source material but Hey!"

Akarei Itadori (shush, I know the title is different, but Akagami just rolls off the tongue better and Akagami Shanks won’t leave me alone ://) new outline I’ve done so far!
She/they
Demigirl
Half-human, half-curse
Pink hair
Red eyes
Black devil wings
Grade 2 Curse cuz she's good at murdering Sorcerers and running away, but she surprisingly damages easy for someone with the King of All Curses' Powers
Super Strength enough to chuck Sabnock easy comical
Favorite color is pink because of her dads’ hair
16 years old for a crossover
Can grow claws
Her bite poisons everything, even food and pillows. Therefore, those who know about it rejects it every time, and Aka-Chan is in a huff almost every time.
The poison is often acidic
Surprisingly, arsenic does not give her diarrhea; and nothing happened except having a bitter aftertaste
Wisteria is best at Christmastime, and Halloween gives it a pumpkin sauce taste—but it can be counterbalanced by cherry holly
Is mostly immune to food poisoning, but it does give her diarrhea
As they’re pushed to the brink of death, the extreme stress overflows into their Cursed Energy turning everything around them and they touch into acid poison: a last-ditch survival tactic. Highly recommended to proceed with caution—they melt the gas masks, too
Her favorite flower is Belladonna
Has yet to learn the Black Flash
Her burn scar in the picture (the Piccrew offered Scarring options, and my Instinct said Sounds Interesting and found a cool and believable backstory for it) is cuz a few years back, a Jujutsu Sorcerer found them and burned their right shoulder So Fucking Hard that Regenerative Healing didn’t work so well.
Because of her literal cursed existence, she has to leave town every time a jujutsu sorcerer detects her, so she’s only been able to have a few friends at a time—and so now she’s a really good runner.
She’s super bubbly to make up for the fact that her parents are missing and is as homeless as Iruma Suzuki. They keep to themself, however, because nobody wants to be around them.
They’re working hard on getting Domain Expansion, but I so far don’t know much of Sukuna’s powers (I JUST started the Shibuya arc) other than Poison Res, so they’ll stay struggling in the meantime; it's currently in its baby stage, but it doesn't exact warrant the term Domain Expansion yet
One time, she ran into a stronger 200-year-old demon who challenged her to a fight. It was intense and mostly one-sided against her, but a squad of Jujutsu Sorcerers (not that one that gave her the burn. This happened a time after that situation) butt in and tried to kill them. So Akarei and the yet-unnamed Curse made a truce to fight the Curse Murderers instead. The humans were duly defeated or killed (cuz of the stronger Curse). So the two Curses made a pact to Not Fight whenever Jujutsu Sorcerers are involved. They’re a sort of Mutually Assured Destruction frenemies now. As usual, Aka-chan immediately packed up and booked it to the next city.
She's eaten plenty of humans, but the easiest, least damaging method to kill a Sorcerer is to Jumpscare and eat them; they're shit on a head-on battle
Even though she barely knows Choso, she still has fondness fir Jii-san—and they HAVE rejoined several times over the years, but not for long, sadly. He feels he can break down around her, crying when they gotta go

yo allow me to take a very wild shot in the dark about the ending, because yeah why not.
I can see 3 options:
1. Evil Witcher revealed
The Watcher is evil
we have to defeat him
bad bitches from the Shadow Realm help us fight him
so it's everybody vs the Watcher
MC wins but gets angry
like reaaaally angry
like gets overtaken by Shadow angry
Aerin is back
now, I think (false, I hope) we'll see him again in the next chapter because it has been a while
maybe too long
definitely too long
I miss him
anyways, yeah, I think he might already be with us in the battle Everyone vs The Watcher
but when we have Shadow!MC he finally reveals why he went away and he's the key to get MC back
supposedly, the Power of Friendship and Love will also help
If you know what I mean
Feel free to switch "MC" and "Nia"
but I honestly lean towards an MC who's frankly and understandably had enough
then after the Watcher
It's Ash Empress's turn
Valax rebels
and you can see how the story goes
anyways at the very end of everything
Aerin will become king (who knows how long it has been in the Light Realm, King Arlan might as well be on the brink of the death or something when we come back)
Valax will be queen/ruler/whatever role of the Shadow Realm one way or another
dead mother or not
Aerin and Valax might work together, with the help of MC & Party, to have some kind of understanding between the Shadow Realm and the Light Realm
and everybody has a happy ending and all that jazz
I wouldn't see the point of a third book for this ending
2. Evil Watcher revealed at the very end
The Ash Empress has been defeated
or befriended
Everybody is happy
And then
the little shit starts his evil monologue
Everybody is tired
Shadow!MC very possible in this case too
and all the rest about kings and queens
BUT
If it is revealed that late
they might let us end book 2 on a cliffhanger
and defeating The Watcher will be the main plot of book 3
and let the peace between the two realms happen (if it does happen) in the third book
3. The Watcher is MC or part of MC's real family (the most unlikely imo, but they could all be v unlikely tbf)
If you played Endless Summer, you already know what I'm talking about
what if the Watcher is actually one version of MC?
What if MC is meant to be the Watcher
dude could still be evil
might still need to defeat him
(MC might either choose/need to replace the Watcher)
or not
Let's say the Watcher reveals MC's true nature (well, he will for sure)
MC is curious
They wish and need to understand more about themselves
because, to be honest, we don't know shit about MC
except that they're very charismatic, sarcastic, altruistic sluts
can't blame them
book 3 could be about MC finding more and more (and a new evil?) or something
if the Watcher is good, he could be MC's mentor after all of this
I don't think, if this ending comes even close to the real ending, they would actually create a third book
they'd pick an open ending for sure
I feel like I've just said a bunch of shit but I've wasted too much time writing the whole thing to delete it now lol
anyways bet your ass that when Valax will (hypothetically, that is) turn against her mother to finally, completely join our side - still, hypothetically (but ik you're seeing this coming c'mon now, let's be honest) - she is gonna say something like:
"You're wrong, Mother. I am a person."
