Phainon would 100% snatch your phone away if he caught you using it for too long and not giving him your attention as a result, hold it high up far away from your reach and even master some kind of a sleight of hand to hide it from you quickly.

I have suspected combined ADHD
Why do I think that?
1. my brain is on fire all the time, i can gear caramelldansen playing whilst i'm having several conversations with myself thinking about pokemon trying to listen to my chemistry teacher
2. the executive function, it kills me, i am so bad with completing homework and house chores it's a mess
3. i have horrible RSD and i've always been called oversensitive throughout my life and learning about ADHD really made me go "huh"
4. i cannot focus unless i deeply care and even then i still cannot focus
5. my school life is a mess, i can't focus to revise or listen in lessons but i get good grades any way and i don't. know. why.
i didn't revise for my last bio test hut i got an A* (the second highest grade out of everyone) all because i really like biology and it just kinda stuck
but when i don't care about a subject that doesn't work, like chemistry for example where i got an E because i didn't listen in a single lesson
6. my short term memory is awful
7. i definitely have auditory processing issues but i've learnt to mask them by stopping myself blurting out the answer to a question i said i didn't hear
8. i am so messy and disorganised and late to everything
9. i stim a whole lot and i only really recently found out about stimming and i've been doing it since before i remember and whoa ADHD makes a lot of sense if only my mother believed me
10. i have bad meltdowns and years of not knowing i had adhd led to some very unhealthy coping mechanisms for when they're brought on
11. sensory overload! dear god! i am so glad i learnt about this because i didn't know it wasn't just me being weird and annoying about stuff it's a thing!!!
12. all of my teachers think i'm quiet, organised and studious and there's no way i could have adhd and i hate it so much because they're basing that observation on my grades which are a result of me just passing by doing no work which is also bad because i feel even less motivated to revise because i pass anyway (apart from chemistry fuck chemistry)
13. hyperfocus. aaaaaaa. i can play a video game for an entire day and forget to eat until my parents are like "where the fuck is my child" and drag me down
14. time blindess makes me believe that i can finish the 20mins youtube video before the taxi comes in 5mins to take me to school if i just watch it faster like ???????
15. hyperfixations. got a lot of them. sooooo many. please help i am struggling i have so many unfinished hobbies i am drowning in them helppppp
16. bounce leg bounce leg bounce leg
17. i loved reading all the time until i was about 12 and i've struggled since then with picking up a book and i read that it's common in people with ADHD and it's about being able to access dopamine more easily from social media than books
reading also has negative connotations for me now because my dad constantly belittles me for not reading anymore and tells me i won't be able to get a good job unless i read a lot
so he kind of ruined it for me anyway
18. there is so much more but my memory is so poor lmao
Hey friends with adhd and autism!!! (and other neurodivergent ppl too ofc!)
I’d love if we can turn this into a chain of our differences to show the spectrum of neurodiversity!!
List what you have and what you think makes you that thing!!
It can become a huge masterpost resource for people who doubt their label because they think theyre not “neurodivergent enough” and for people who are denied a diagnosis because others around them don’t know what a spectrum these things are!!!
I’ll share my example with a rb!!
Pls reblog my example !!! I think this would be a huge help to the neurodivergent community and would improve neurotypical ppl’s understanding of what it’s like :)
