svsss body swap au where shen qingqiu and liu qingge swap bodies, and while shen qingqiu (either yuan or jiu could work!) is having the time of his life with the full power of the bai zhan war god, liu qingge is having a very rude awakening on how much chronic illnesses suck and how much pain and discomfort sqq is in every single day.

liu qingge finds out how awful without-a-cure is, it's blocking his cultivation and leaving him helpless, and it hurts, too, a constant ache that lingers in the back of his mind. it takes mu qingfang calling him out on his behavior to realize that he's been lashing out at others out of his own discomfort and frustration. the only relief he gets is the cleansing of his meridians, but to take all those brews every day and be dependant on his martial siblings for his base health is really frustrating, because he can't do so many things he used to be able to do without second thought.

meanwhile, shen qingqiu arm-wrestled every peak lord and won, cleaved a mountain in half, ran a marathon for fun, and approached every dangerous animal he could find to study them because his strength and reflexes get him out of tricky situations every time.

shen qingqiu: i just ran eighty miles and im not even sweating !!

liu qingge: i tried to circulate my qi and now i have a horrible migraine

eventually they switch back; liu qingge is very relieved, glad to be himself again. shen qingqiu is keeping up a brave face, but the constant discomfort feels a little worse now he knows what it's like to live without it.

Just noticed something I thought was very interesting:

Victim depicts the Cursor as being giant in comparison to himself

When in reality this just wasn't true.

Victim's fear and trauma has caused him to re-imagine the Cursor into a much bigger monster than it ever was, something huge and horrible and capable of crushing him like a bug. A scale and strength fitting of how terrifying Victim considers it to be.

As opposed to the little thing barely bigger than his own head.

Except, those drawings look a little familiar...

This is literally Victim's worst nightmares made real.

Something tells me things aren't going to go very well, if the Cursor does end up being summoned into Rocket Corp...

Okay this isn‘t smut but I just can‘t get the idea out of my head.

So if reader‘s in a relationship with both pv and shmilk, I‘d imagine that the servants are pretty left in the dark (unless they get involved like black sapphire). What if candy apple draws her own very incorrect conclusions from this, like she sees reader with shmilk one day, with pv the next and thinks that reader‘s cheating on shmilk? She totally doesn’t want shmilk to think better of her because she ‚exposed our lies’ or smth. Which I’m not sure how shmilk would react to that phrasing with his entire thing being deceit, but maybe she thinks he’d disapprove if he’s not in control of said lies.

Idk I‘m just giggling over the image of her trying to out us at some fancy meeting where everyone in the spire is present.

Ok, Penelope marching to Troy save Odysseus and Telemachus is amazing and I love it but then I remembered Eurylochus, Citmene and Polites. Obviously Citmene would stay behind to run the kingdom while Penelope’s at war but Paris had not only pissed off Odysseus’s spartan wife but also Odysseus’s sister and his friends and that might be only the tip of the iceberg. Unless Citmene needs her husband’s assistance, Eurylochus is carrying his damn giant sword to cleave the walls of Troy to half. And who knows what kinda crap Polites would pull off when enraged?

Unfortunately, Ctimene does have to stay back in Ithaca to hold down the fort but she has faith in her husband, brother & sister-in-law.

And well, Polites will do what he always does: greet Paris with open arms! ......very muscular arms.
