So you wanna watch some of Joe Flanigan's non-Stargate work?
I've compiled a list of everything that I could find that's available to stream for free (at least in the US). Just a heads up, a lot of the stuff uploaded to YT is varying quality because it was taped off TV at the time but it's good to be able to see them at all so...
If there are mistakes, links don't work or something is missing, please let me know.
Oh, and I didn't write the blurbs, some of which are pretty awful but as with a lot of you I've not seen everything on the list so I can't vouch for their veracity. No commentary from me this time as I got feedback that it was distracting.
Sites include: YouTube, Tubi, PlutoTV, The Roku Channel, and Plex.

Seen any new movies lately ?
i HAVE, anon ! within the past 3 weeks or so I've officially watched about 8 movies !
so i believe right after finishing AAWIL, i ran straight into more horror movies.
i watched ELECTRIC DREAMS, THE REANIMATOR, PERFECT BLUE, and THE LOST BOYS — which were all on a list of [general] horror movies i found interest in.
aside from those movies, i watched DAZED AND CONFUSED (which was recommended to me by an irl), LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, DINNER IN AMERICA, and i rewatched MAMMA MIA to reminisce ... because abba rotates in my head every so often :3
I'll ramble about my watches under the cut, just because it's a bit much 💀
OKAY SO, if i wrack my mind correctly, i BELIEVE the order i watched these movies was...
(excluding mamma mia, because it was a nostalgia watch and nothing more! I've seen it already :D)
PERFECT BLUE (1997)
absolutely LOVED this film. somethin' about psychological horrors in animation tear me apart and leave me thinking about it for DAYS. this movie was heavily reccomended to me for a while after watching serial experiments lain, and despite the fact they were two insanely different stories, they still shared this same vibe of me constantly going "what the fuck is happening" and still loving every part of the big confusion.
this was such a nice movie, and i indeed had to watch a couple analysis videos just to really get a full idea on how it was supposed to be interpreted, because unfortunately i only paid attention once the big plot twists started... plot twisting... over and over again just THROWING my ass around.
however i do think it was a really interesting interpretation on disassociative disorders & folie a deux. not my favorite depictions, but it was an interesting one nonetheless that i was comfortable with!
THE RE-ANIMATOR (1985)
this movie was SOOOO fun. i fucking loved watching herbert and his fuck ass experiments and ohmygod is that little guy autistic. my favorite genre of old horror is always when it's two silly guys and some random love interest, because it's just so ridiculous and cheesy but it's FUN!!!
and i ENJOYED IT!!! I don't have much to say on this one because all in all it was a very half-paid-attention-to watch, but i really loved all of the goofy ass effects and I'm a sucker for lovecraftian story renditions.
DINNER IN AMERICA (2020)
someone lied to me when they said this movie was super cool and awesome
BECAUSE OKAY look I'm not a HATER to romance films... but also... there was just a LOT happening there 💀 i believe this movie was reccomended to me from a tiktok moot and i just? ran with it?
definitely one of those moments where i should have read the synopsis before jumping head first blindly into a movie, but i did actually enjoy some parts of it!
the visuals were incredible, i loved the soundtrack, i justttt.... thought the storyline was kind of odd? still really cool though i loved it a lot — but i will admit that i hated the depictions of autism in the movie because it felt insanely infantilising :( i know that was kind of what they were trying to go against, but euhhh errr uhhghh ... i dunno something about pattys character just rubbed me the wrong way unfortunately
DAZED AND CONFUSED (1993)
this movie was reccomended to me by an irl (I'd like to thank @levithatman despite the fact he still hasn't watched aawil like i asked him to AHEM AHEM AHEM) and i LOVED IT!!!
he told me it was how "his highschool experience should've been" and that's the only information i got on it before i watched it, and afterwards i was insanely confused because why the fuck would you want that (as if he isn't the same guy who wants to get hazed in a frat... tsk tsk)
anyways I'm throwing too much shade at my homie, this movie was fucking BOMB. i loved the character dynamics, there was so much happening to keep me occupied, it's definitely one of those 90s highschool movies that really just feel memorable because "that shit would never happen irl lmao" — it gave off Breakfast Club if it was full of druggies and fuckass middleschoolers, loved it loved it
LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE (2006)
I'm gonna be so honest i saw this movie in a "movies with queer representation" list, and then in a video edit of "movies that i think about a lot" and i ran to it just because... hell yeah dude that's what i strive for HAHAHA
this movie is definitely one that i should've watched with an irl to discuss about and have fun and such because it kind of just left me... well that's just it , IT LEFT ME. the ending was so abrupt and painful and i was sat here confused the entire fucking time because SO MUCH JUST HAPPENED IN THE SPAN OF 30 MINUTES OR LESS.
the craziest little family dynamic if i do say so myself, but i absolutely loved it and running around with the hoover family was so fun to watch and experience and aahhhh it really is one of those films that just FEEL nostalgic despite it being ur first time watching. ykyk?
THE LOST BOYS (1987)
and then ELECTRIC DREAMS (1984)
this is one of those movies EVERYONE in my circle has watched except for me. and MAN was i missing out. i fucking loved everything about the settings for this movie, the backgrounds and the environment we were placed in is a world IIIII WANNA BE IN. it was so fuckin cool man i fucking loved it
although the plot was a bit everywhere for me i really did enjoy the entire film, i loved the costumes the characters the settings the story the AHHHHH AHHHHH it was so fun and so cool.
vampire movies are definitely one of those things I'm mellow about but i really did enjoy this one, absolutely delightful watch and i now yearn to be in cali with all the cool kids and vamps ☹️
my favorite characters in the entire film were the frog brothers, they're so fuckin stupid and silly the entire damn film AND THE FACT THEY WERE RIGHT ALL ALONG fucking hilarious i loved it hehehe
edgar and miles should've kissed at the end I'M JUST SAYING!!!! I'm just saying...
I'll be quite honest i think it was really interesting to see the way someone interpreted new technology and then turned it into this lovesick little computer who hates his roomie because he's dating his crush. like... what the fuck 💀
i originally thought this film was gonna be way more computer horror based, but it surprisingly wasn't!!! all he did was turn the lights off and burn some things on accident! but then again it was still at that time where tech wasn't really... KNOWN ykwim
all in all i think it was a delightful film and I've been conjuring up the time to make some fun fanart for it because of how much i really just loved all the characters :3c
#lots of rambling here#all in all i loved aaaallll of these films#and i still have a few on my list i need to get to!#I'll probably post / talk about that later like i did with the last one hehe#movie talk#perfect blue#the reanimator#dinner in america#dazed and confused#little miss sunshine#the lost boys#electric dreams

Alexander Nikolayevich Spesivtsev (born 1 March 1970) is a Russian serial killer, also known as the Novokuznetsk Monster and the Siberian Ripper, convicted for the killing of four people in Novokuznetsk in 1991 and 1996.
Spesivtsev, with the assistance of his mother Lyudmila, targeted street children and young women across Novokuznetsk by luring them into their apartment, where they would be tortured and killed, and sometimes cannibalized.
He confessed at some point to nineteen murders, but later retracted his confession and was convicted for only four. Based on found evidence he is suspected of having committed over 80 murders starting from as early as 1991.
During childhood, Spesivtsev was considered unsocial, did not have friends, and was bullied while at school.
His mother Lyudmila Spesivtseva worked at a nearby school and the prosecutor's office and was very affectionate towards her son. His father was an abusive alcoholic who abandoned the family.
Spesivtsev and his mother held a strong, but unusual, relationship, as Lyudmila would regularly show her son photographs of corpses from books about criminal cases at a very young age, and the two shared a bed until Alexander was 12.
Growing up, Spesivtsev showed increasing sadistic tendencies, and in 1988, met his first girlfriend. Ostensibly poetic by nature, they often went for walks together, but the facade didn't last.
Arguments led to her breaking up with him, which Spesivstev did not accept. He kidnapped her and tortured her for a month in his apartment until she died of sepsis. For this, at the age of 18, Spesivstev was assigned to the Oryol Special Psychiatric Hospital.
The first sign of his victims arose when the gangrenous severed heads, torsos, and arms of unidentifiable children were found washed up on the banks of the River Aba. It was not immediately believed there was a serial killer, and only after several large groups of unattended children disappeared was a serial mass murderer suspected as being active in the city.
Otherwise, investigators in the regional Directorate of Internal Affairs suspected that organ smugglers were acting within the city's boundaries. Several criminal gangs from the Caucasus region were active in Novokuznetsk at the time, and police searched the baggage of outward flights. Additionally, several hundred internal troops and police officers were deployed to search for the killer, who at some point was thought to be Oleg Rylkov.
Spesivtsev's crimes were discovered by chance in October 1996, when plumbers sent to the apartment where he lived with his mother could not get access. They called the police to open the door.
Inside they found the dismembered body of a girl in the bathtub, and a severely wounded girl, 14-year-old Olga G. Spesivtsev and his mother Lyudmila were immediately arrested.
Olga G. died soon after of her knife wounds, but before her death she told the investigators that Spesivtsev had killed two of her friends, forcing her to dismember the corpses.
She also said that Lyudmila had cooked the victim's flesh for consumption by herself and her son; they had also fed some to their dog and forced the captive girls to eat it.
In June 1996, the police had already found the buried bones of children, identified as belonging to at least 15 victims aged from three to fourteen. After his arrest, these were identified as possible victims of Spesivtsev, who indeed initially confessed to having murdered them, but later retracted his confession.
In 1997, he was convicted for the murders of Olga G. and her two friends, but not for any other cases due to insufficient evidence. His mother was sentenced to 13 years in prison for having assisted him.
Spesivtsev is permanently confined to the Kamyshin Regional Hospital.

Kishimoto for Aera Magazine (Dec 8th, 2014)

I couldn't find clean scans but I was still able to translate most of the Naruto special published by Aera magazine. It's consists of page 9 and then an interview from pages 33-35 plus another article from pages 36-39 but I couldn't translate these last three pages because I couldn't find them anywhere but oh well, I decided to still post the rest of the Naruto special.
Person in focus (refers to those gracing the cover of the magazine)
"Memories came flooding back and I had to hold back the tears." The globally mega-hit manga "NARUTO" serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" has recently concluded. Seven of his collaborators, assistants and editors gathered at the workplace in the early hours to express their gratitude for the hard work.
The photo was taken at the workplace where "NARUTO" was created. It was on a high floor of a building overlooking central Tokyo. It was a studio befitting the work of a ninja manga that has sold over 200 million copies worldwide. But the author exudes a soft, fluffy aura, and still retains the vestiges of an innocent boy. "Here, the windows are too big, so it's really hot. We need an electric fan," he said.
He refused to give up, and was undeterred. The protagonist Naruto, who overcomes hardships to become the best ninja, can be considered the author's alter ego. The "real" Naruto has also worked hard to bring out his hidden talent. He is well known for his skill in drawing, but after receiving a newcomer's award, he was unable to draw a manga that he was satisfied with for a long time. In order to master professional expression techniques, he visited libraries and bookstores to read books, went to video rental stores to rent movies, and thoroughly studied "what kind of work makes people happy" by himself for two years.
So while one might think he is a writer who seeks popularity, he also has a strong penchant for being a writer who sticks to his own ideas. After the serialization of "NARUTO" got on track, he took the results of Jump's regular reader surveys seriously, but he didn't really want to hear them because "if the results are good, I get carried away, and if they're bad, I get depressed." He always holds out until the last minute to finish his manuscript. It was common for him to hand over the Monday issue in the early hours of Friday.
The 700th and final episode was also completed at nearly 3am. Suddenly, the door to the workplace opened and seven past collaborators entered. When the first editor handed him a bouquet of flowers, "memories suddenly flooded me and I had to hold back tears." Having pretended to be calm, he couldn't show his uncool side at this point. "I thought I had hidden it well, but later they told me, 'That was close.'" Father of two children. His twin brother, Seishi, is also a manga artist.
Shigeru Suzuki, Editorial Committee Member, Asahi Shimbun (please also see related articles from page 33)
Timeline on the left of the page.
Manga artist Masashi Kishimoto was born on November 8, 1974 in Okayama Prefecture.
As an elementary school student, he became obsessed with Toriyama Akira's "DRAGON BALL" and repeatedly copied the characters.
The first manga he drew was a ninja boy manga.
As a junior high school student, he was always in the baseball club, but was shocked by the expressions in the poster for the movie "AKIRA" written and directed by Otomo Katsuhiro.
As a high school student, he started drawing manga seriously.
In 1993, he entered the art department of a university in Kyushu. He drew manga for young men, but saw the potential in manga for boys and changed direction.
In 1995, he won an honorable mention in the Hop Step Award, a new manga award from Weekly Shonen Jump, for "Karakuri."
In 1997, he published a one-off "NARUTO" in Akamaru Jump.
In 1999, he began serializing "NARUTO" in Weekly Shonen Jump.
The November 10th, 2014 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump will be the final issue of "NARUTO," which has run for a total of 700 chapters. The film "THE LAST: NARUTO THE MOVIE," for which he is the story supervisor, will be released on December 6th. The "Kishimoto Masashi NARUTO Exhibition: Commemorating the Finale" is scheduled to be held in Tokyo in the spring and Osaka in the summer of 2015.
"It'd be a lie if I said I wasn't worried!" What Masashi Kishimoto wanted to portray in "NARUTO"
When the end of the series was announced, the news literally spread around the globe. 15 years have passed since the series began in 1999. What was it that manga artist Masashi Kishimoto was trying to draw over 700 episodes?
The mega-hit Weekly Shonen Jump series NARUTO, recognised worldwide as the flagship of modern Japanese manga, came to an end this November.
Born into a special lineage, the protagonist's growth story, which is a classic fantasy tale of virtue being repressed, combined with anime-inspired visuals and the exoticism of a ninja village—elements that represent "Japan from a Western perspective"—blended harmoniously and was well-received overseas.
In discussions between the author Masashi Kishimoto and the first editor in charge, the initial setting was conceived where the protagonist, Naruto Uzumaki, who possesses immense hidden power and is overwhelmingly positive, and his rival, Sasuke Uchiha, who, despite being blessed with talent and beauty, carries a dark past, become aware of each other, are drawn to each other, and ultimately fight in the end.
The enemies keep getting stronger, and the special moves become increasingly flashy, which is a "success formula" unique to "Jump." Keeping this in mind, Kishimoto-san stuck to his "non-negotiable" elements as an author. He wanted to portray the inner struggles of the characters, saying that it would be a lie if they didn't struggle when exchanging blows with their friends. At one point, he even prepared for the possibility of losing readers, but after the conflict, Naruto scaled up even further as a ninja and faced the final great war.
Born from the bath and soaring through the world for 15 years "Both Naruto and I faced battle drenched in sweat" On the large desk were a large number of pens. The deserted assistants desk gave the impression of a fierce battle. I interviewed him at work one week after the series ended.
In the fall of 1999, after two or three weeks of his first serialized work, "NARUTO," Masashi Kishimoto thought to himself, "I've embarked on something great."
"The person in charge told me I would have to do it for five years, but I thought do I really have to continue this difficult work for years?"
At that time, the serialization of "DRAGON BALL" (ended in 1995) and "SLAM DUNK" (ended in 1999), which had established the golden age of Jump, had come to an end, and Jump had handed over the top spot to "Weekly Shonen Magazine." However, in 1999, "ONE PIECE" began, the previous year "HUNTER × HUNTER," and in the same year, "Hikaru no Go" and "The Prince of Tenis" began serialization, and it was a time when a new lineup was being built.
"I was thinking about a samurai manga, but then 'Rurouni Kenshin' and 'Blade of the Immortal' came out first. Then I saw the illustrations by Nishio Tetsuya for the anime version of 'NINKU' and was blown away by how good and cool they were. I thought, this is it."
The target is middle school boys
Naruto, who has sealed inside his body the Nine-Tailed Fox that had attacked the ninja village of Konohagakure, is feared and hated by everyone. However, there are also people who recognize him, and he grows into a boy who is not discouraged by failure. On the other hand, his rival Sasuke is a talented young ninja from a distinguished family, but after his clan was destroyed by his older brother Itachi, he is obsessed with revenge. In short, it is a story of a ninja's growth. It reminds me of "Failure Ninja Rantaro", but with bizarre ninjutsu, sorcery, magic, and even giant creatures appearing one after another, the overall atmosphere is more like a fantasy like "Harry Potter".
The entire work is divided into two parts: the first part, as seen in the volumes, covers Naruto's growth period, while the second part corresponds to his time as a young ninja. "In Part 1, Naruto and the others are still growing, so the actual fighting against external enemies is done by Naruto's sensei, Kakashi and other Jonin. When readers vote for their favorite character, the strongest Kakashi comes first, which is not good. We'll have to change the title to "Kakashi". We skipped two and a half years in time to Part 2."
Has your readership changed? "No, my main target audience has always been boys in their second year of middle school."
Female readers are Sasuke's fans.
Female readers are probably more of a fan of the cool Sasuke than the mischievous Naruto. "Sasuke is a 'tsundere.' No, more like just 'tsun.' Sasuke and his brother Itachi have complex inner lives, so I have to be careful when drawing their expressions. On top of that, my editor makes a lot of requests. The first editor said things like, 'That's not the face of Sasuke in my mind,' 'Lower the corners of his mouth by another 2mm,' and 'Itachi should be more expressionless.' For some reason, that editor only complains about Sasuke, saying, 'Isn't this wrong?'" There are other many unique villains who also appear in the story.
Jiraiya, Naruto's teacher after graduating from Kakashi, is known as the "Pervy Sage" and is also a summoner. Tsunade, the Fifth Hokage, is in her fifties but has been given the appearance of a young woman through magic (jutsu). And Orochimaru, the deserter ninja who deceives Sasuke, is one of the "Legendary Three Ninja" who was his mentor until the middle of the story. "They are characters from the 'The Tale of the Gallant Jiraiya,' which has also been turned into a kabuki play. Yes, I knew about it because I read it before the series started. Sasuke's 'Sharingan' is also based on Jiraiya's eye*."
*In the folktale the character Jiraiya has an eye called the sharingan but the skills of the eye are very different from one story to another.
A scene that lacks a sense of catharsis
The characters are all quirky and somewhat difficult to understand, with each one having a detailed personality. With the author's technique, even minor characters end up being drawn in detail. "There was a time when I received a precious color page and drew a scene where two old men comrades where fighting with swords. Readers must have been confused. At that time, the editorial department scolded me, saying, 'What are you doing?' Initially, I thought, 'It's fine if it gets canceled,' but gradually I got the hang of it and started to get into it."
"The story takes up the most time. After my next meeting with my editor, the first thing I do is take a bath. I have a notebook that won't get wet, and I take a few sheets of it, two plastic bottles of water, and writing utensils. I stick the paper on the wall of the bathroom and start drawing down any images that come to me. I probably spend about two hours in the bath. The bath is the best place for me to come up with a story."
The toughest part during serialization was around volume 48. It was when Naruto, while questioning the meaning of his duty, was trying to persuade a formidable enemy called "Pain" with words. The dialogue is all about reconciliation. Naturally, there is no "cathartic feeling" from defeating the enemy.
"My editor told me, 'This isn't what a shonen manga is supposed to be,' and I wondered if a protagonist who resolves their inner conflicts wouldn't be entertaining. It was a harrowing experience. But if I didn't like it there, I wouldn't be able to understand Sasuke's inner self, and the meaning of the final battle scene wouldn't come through."
Was there any concern that second-year junior high school readers would drift away? "I wanted children to read it and think about it. I think the kids who understood it got it. Well, it's a bit selfish of the author, I guess. I thought if I didn't struggle here now, I wouldn't be able to continue writing "NARUTO" in the future. Oh well, if the readers drift away, then there's nothing I can do about it. I made up my mind about that. Thanks to that, I was able to write the 698th chapter, the climax, comfortably."
Read it from the beginning again
As it approaches the end, the story delves into the origins of myths and the mysteries of the universe. Naruto and Sasuke are friends, but they are also connected to brothers from Indian mythology. This manga frequently features themes of brotherly bonds, rivalries and selfishness. Moreover, it is usually the younger brother who takes on the more favorable and highlighted role. Is this influenced by his relationship with your twin brother, Seiji, who is also a manga artist? "That might be true. I get along very well with my younger brother, though."
Even after finishing the final chapter, the days of "NARUTO" continue. "Even if I play games, I surprisingly don't get hooked."In December, the movie "THE LAST -NARUTO THE MOVIE-" will be released, and in the following year, "NARUTO" will continue. I'll go greet everyone so they start reading from the beginning again."
#Kishimoto interview#Naruto archive#you will not find this interview anywhere else!! (and for a reason it was very tough with such low quality)#This is the closest Kishimoto's been to telling readers to fuck off and he was gonna draw what he wanted

A guide to Per Nørgård's music 🎶🎵
An admirer of Sibelius and South Park, Nørgård exposes the full force of nature, and humour, in his symphonies
Danish composer Per Nørgård, was the only composer I know who appeared naked on the cover of a book about his life and music. That would be a risky, not to say potentially off-putting move for most composers, but there was Per in all his glory, sitting on a wooden veranda, staring out into an idyll of lake and trees in a photo for The Music of Per Nørgård: Fourteen Interpretative Essays. Now, I'm not going to push the metaphor of Nørgård's nakedness too far, I promise, but there is a connection between the image of man in the midst of nature and the elemental experience of listening to Nørgård's music; the fact that his work is unafraid to let it all hang out, compositionally, emotionally, and expressively speaking.
youtube
Don't believe me? Have a listen to the opening of his Fifth Symphony. Nørgård himself quotes one listener who describes this 35-minute work as "a walk with a fire-breathing dragon", an image that says something about the gigantic power and imagination of this piece, which changes in a second from the surreal sounds of sirens, whistles, wind machines and bird-calls to brassy explosions, swirling string writing – and silence. It's music that has all the chaotic unpredictability of a weather system, and listening to it is like being in the middle of a thunderstorm, or walking through a whiteout: discombobulating, disturbing, sometimes even dangerous, but inescapably compelling.
The Proms will host the British premiere of Nørgård's Seventh Symphony on 9 August (Nørgård has also completed an eigth, which we've still to hear in the UK), and his large-scale orchestral works run through his huge output as markers of how his music has changed over the decades. Nørgård's musical vision was forged in Denmark of the 1940s and 50s, inspired by his studies with Danish symphonist Vagn Holmboe and his love for Sibelius. Nørgård heard in Sibelius the radicalism that later generations of composers would discover, the way his music simultaneously manipulates different kinds of material, different kinds of time, and how forward-looking his use of the orchestra is in its texture and physicality. He even wrote the old, and by then compositionally silent, Sibelius a letter, and received a warm reply. Having dedicated a major new piece to him, Nørgård was too shy to meet Sibelius when he travelled to Finland – even though he glimpsed him in the grounds of his house, Ainola.
But Nørgård was not too shy to extend Sibelius's principles into musical places that not even the Finnish master could have imagined. Nørgård started to use a so-called "infinity series", a mathematical principle that does what it says on the tin, and leads to the generation of an always-changing sequence of notes. This isn't a version of Schoenberg's serialism – far from it, since, the infinity row creates the possibility of resonantly tonal centres across a large-scale work: this is not "atonal" music. Never mind the theory, though: listen to Nørgård's Voyage into the Golden Screen to hear how the infinity row can create music of visionary intensity: slow-moving layers of harmony and line that build to a climax of blinding power in the first part, and then, in the second, you'll hear some deceptively minimalist-sounding riffs (the difference from real minimalism is that nothing is ever simply repeated in Nørgård's music).
Nørgård's attraction to eastern philosophy (he has written an opera on Siddharta), and his embrace of 60s-ish ideas such as "the expansion of consciousness while fully conscious", the title of one of his articles, might suggest music of blissed-out transcendence. But Nørgård's work has increasingly embraced conflict, violence, and even humour (you've got to have a sense of the ridiculous to title a piece Bach to the Future, a double-percussion concerto he composed in 1997; Nørgård was also a fan of the music for the South Park movie, friends say). One of the catalysts for this broadening of his expressive palette was Nørgård's discovery in the late 1970s of the work of Adolf Wölfli, the Swiss artist who spent most of his life in a psychiatric hospital. The combination of pattern and chaos, of obsessive detail and expressive wildness in Wölfli's paintings finds an analogy in Nørgård's music – have a listen to the Fourth Symphony, directly inspired by the Swiss artist, and you'll hear how Nørgård's music creates a surreal world of sudden changes of mood and texture that's somehow pulled together into a single form, a genuinely symphonic journey.
youtube
That's what I like best about Nørgård's music, its simultaneous sense of freedom and coherence, how it pulls you along with all the power of the undertow of a great wave. His Sixth Symphony, "At The End Of The Day", is yet another huge, elemental experience. Nørgård's music becomes a force of nature in its own right, since it contains, accepts, and creates such titanic expressive extremes. And that's to talk mostly about his orchestral music: Nørgård's operas, his songs, and his chamber music are all there to discover, too. Enjoy your walk with Denmark's music-breathing dragon.

Marianne's Past

I went and read the Marianne vi Britannia chapter from Mamoru Iwasa's "Knights of the Round" short story anthology that was released as a bonus volume to his Code Geass R2 novel series.

I am 80% sure that this image that is often seen floating around online was made to promote this specific short story (or maybe accompany a serialized release?), but the illustration itself is not included in the tankobon release.
I'll provide summary of the short here here, but please be aware I am reading with machine TL and there may be errors even despite the best of my double-checking. If you want these details for, idk, academic reasons please go to the source text first!
Anyway this story rules, here it is. Italics mark direct quotes.
We start off strong with Charles thinking "I had no reservations about wasting my own life." Standing in the middle of a battlefield, he laments that Britannia is a dying country structured around a bloodthirsty elite. No dreams, no hope.
"Born into such a world, why would you desperately try and such a small thing as your own life?" he thinks, but then Marianne's voice cuts through to him. Marianne waltzes into the room where Charles stands surrounded by soldiers pointing guns at him. Injured, in her bloodstained white uniform, she fights her way through to him with unbelievable competence and elegance. She beheads all the men as the narration describes the beautiful glisten of her sword and the flow of her hair.
Marianne, the Knight of Six at this point, sheathes her sword and bends the knee before Charles, in the middle of corpses and with both of them splattered over and over in blood.
"I sincerely apologize for any trouble I've caused you by being late," she says.
Marianne tells Charles to evacuate, but he remains stoic and only looks at her arm, which is rendered unmoving by her injury.
"That wound. You've killed, Knight of Six. You've killed the Empire's most powerful knight, the Knight of One."
Only he would have been able to hurt her this badly, Charles reasons.
The Knight of One turns out to be the person who staged this rebellion in the first place and Marianne did indeed kill him before coming to find Charles.
We learn that Charles' reign is being questioned by conservatives because he was such a distant candidate for the throne originally and ascended mostly due to the past emperor's insistence.
"There is external trouble, and the internal anxieties are becoming more and more serious. This a country on the verge of ruin. Don't you agree? Knight of Six," says Charles who is feeling talkative.
Marianne disagrees. After all, she's here and so is Waldstein, still Knight of Five at that time. They won't let it come to that.
"Then, will you come to my side, Marianne?" It's the first time he's ever called her by name and not title and she blushes.
(Here we briefly learn Marianne had a normal military career before being promoted to the Knights of the Round.)
Before she can ask what he means, Marianne realizes the truth for herself and blushes harder. Through a whirlwind of emotion she finds unwavering determination within herself.
"I humbly accept your offer."
He looks at her with eyes that seem almost sad.
"You might regret it."
The narration suggests he may be trying to make sure she knows he isn't going to force her.
Marianne denies the possibility. She won't come to regret this, because as long as she's by his side she will prevent all causes for regret from occurring.
"So you're saying your own happiness depends solely on yourself." Charles finally smiles faintly. "You're bragging, Marianne. Show humility."
"Yes, Your Majesty."
Amidst the smell of gunpowder and blood, a man's hand was slowly held out. The girl's hand rested on top of his, a little awkwardly, but with a certain intent.
We then learn that this rebellion, the Blood Crest Incident, took place May 6th 1997 so a bit less than three years before Lelouch is born. Most of the Knights of Rounds were murdered in it or executed for being complicit.
The narration spends some time discussing whether Charles should be seen as a good or bad ruler, coming out conflicted.
Arguments for being a good ruler: Britannia was on the verge of collapsing and being divided between the other two super-powers before Charles revived it. Arguments for being a bad ruler: ... well, about that bloody conquest though.
Fun side details: leader of Charles' political opponents was his uncle the Archduke Louis. Anyway, we skip forward 5 years, and the civil war and unrest has now ended.
Marianne is the 5th Empress. We are treated to her in the Aries villa garden, sparring with three young teen girls from the military academy: Cornelia, Beatrice and Nonette.
None of the girls stand a chance and Marianne harshly critiques their swordplay, but she ends with saying they're getting better and she's looking forward to the next vacation. She winks at them.
We briefly learn that Cornelia's mom comes from a pretty traditional family and wanted her to be more of a palace lady but Cornelia's own wish was to enter the military. Whenever she has time off from school she comes to the Aries villa to let Marianne train her.
As Marianne talks to the girls about their training later, a small kid looks out from under her skirt.
Barely 3year old Lelouch enters the scene! He's entered a shy phase and has to be coaxed to say hi to Cornelia. (But he does do a proper bow and greets her as 'elder sister'!)
Cornelia mentions that Lelouch's shy phase is the total opposite of Euphy who is currently following everyone around 24/7 and being SUPER social no matter the person.
Then, Bismarck comes in. He is holding a crying baby Nunnally and is locked in a vicious circle of trying to get her to stop crying by smiling but having a smile that is too scary to comfort the poor baby. Cornelia laughs at the Knight of One in such a predicament.
Of course, Marianne was the one who forced him to hold the baby despite all his protest that he, who's not even married, would be shit at it. She appears remorseless.
Marianne says she was trying to teach him the stress of a mother who has some maternity nerves due to taking care of two kids, and he's just like. Ma'am the nannies take care of your kids, there is no way you are that exhausted. (He does not say this out loud.)
Beatrice, who has many younger siblings, saves Bismarck and calms down baby Nunnally. Nonette, who likes throwing babies in the air, is banned from approaching the bappy.
Marianne tells the girls to watch the kids for a bit and walks off to talk with Bismarck about serious matters. There's a cute paragraph about the girls helping Lelouch do his first tumble roll and him being really happy about it.
Bismarck muses that not too long ago it would have been unthinkable for there to be the laughter of children in the palace. Marianne teases him that continuing to ensure this is possible is why he's here, isn't he?
Bismarck is Knight of One and also the ONLY Knight of Rounds at this moment. Marianne left the Knights after becoming Empress and the others all died due to the Blood Crest Incident. No new ones have been appointed since.
Bismarck tells Marianne that he thinks she is more suitable to be Knight of One than him.
Marianne doesn't entertain the thought. Bismarck wants more Knights appointed but Marianne says that Charles was ambivalent to the suggestion, being not really concerned about his own safety. Also there are no promising candidates right now.
Anyway, the main reason Bismarck dropped by is because the current Chinese Emperor passed away. This unrest and uncertainty has Charles setting his sides on border expansion and conquering more territory.
Marianne grows pensive. Is Charles good or evil? She's wondered often. We launch into a flashback:
“Your Majesty--do you aspire to be a conqueror?”
Marianne asked him one day, and Charles, laughed happily, which was unusual.
"Hmm...Is that what you see, Marianne?"
"Yes. At least in my eyes."
"Conqueror, huh? If that's what you want, that's not bad either," Charles muttered, an even more amused smile appearing on his handsome face.
When Marianne heard this, her expression turned grim.
“If you are serious about such things, I will refuse to touch His Majesty from now on. Please do not enter my sleeping quarters again. I will immediately decapitate myself.
"I thought you'd say that. But, Marianne, there's one thing you forgot to mention. In that case, you would only kill yourself after beheading this emperor, right? ”
......
"Is it untrue………?"
"Mhm."
"You are a person who never compromises on yourself. Just like me. Therefore, your wings are something that even this emperor cannot control, and the way you flap your wings nobly captures his heart." Marianne couldn't help but smile crookedly as the truth was whispered to her from an unexpected source. Seeing this, Charles also laughed.
"Marianne. My desire is not to conquer the world. It is to strip away the lies of the world. In the process, I hope for the world. I will rid the world of lies. That is my oath. ...But let me promise you this, Marianne. The inside of your heart that you never show to others. That emptiness that cannot be wiped away. Even that, I will make up for it.”
Marianne's expression returned to normal and she fell silent.
Then she said, "If His Majesty truly thinks so, I will create a 'vessel' for His Majesty. His oath, the power to approach it. The path - an army strong enough to conquer the world."
The emperor laughed loudly this time.
"That means you're joining forces with the worst sinner in history, Marianne. Your children and grandchildren will continue to be accused of being witches who assisted the most evil king in the world."
Marianne smiled too.
"Of course, I am prepared. Your Majesty does remember what I am called, right?"
"The Flash. It sounds good, but a flashing light burns people's eyes out. Moreover, your light is by no means the halo of a saint..."
"A bloody hero's death. I have never wielded a sword for anyone other than myself.
"Even when you protected me... that's why I wanted you. Would you like to see the world together, Marianne?''
“Even if it costs me my life.”
Since then she knew.
This person was planning to spread his wings even bigger someday.
Britannia, a continental country. However, this person cannot fit into such a small container. He has to involve many countries and puts the world under its control. Even if he was called a tyrant, or the king of Hades with the sickle of death. Moreover, his motivation was never ambition. Nor was it vigor. Instead it was because of the tears of blood that this person shed when he was young. To fulfill the vow he made. In that case, what she can do after deciding to walk with this person is--
With this cut-off phrase we go back to the present.
In the evening of her meeting with Bismarck, Marianne calls the three girls to meet her. She appears wearing her old Knights of Round uniform and tells them she won't be able to accompany them in their training for a while, so they should use this opportunity to come at her like they mean it because she also won't hold back. For the first time in their sparring, she is dual wielding which was her preferred mode of combat during her active days.
We skip the combat and go right to Marianne coming back out to talk to Bismarck. He remarks that this was quick. The girls stood no chance, though Beatrice held out slightly longer than the others. Marianne asserts that a Knight of the Emperor needs no naivety or kindness so she tried to knock that out of the girls here. She expects they will be changing bit by bit from here on out. Marianne and Bismarck begin to leave for the capital.
Marianne: "Then let's go, Bismarck. To help the king commit the worst crime in history."
Bismarck: "And so it's the return of the empress general."
As they are about to leave a nanny and a crying baby Lelouch stop them. Lelouch had a scary dream during nap time and needed to see his mommy. He had a dream his mother was going very far away.
Marianne tells Lelouch that she isn't going anywhere. But her eyes are cold, as if she was looking at a wooden dummy. Bismarck has seen this expression on her many times before - it's the face she makes before cutting somebody down on the battlefield.
Bismarck is so used to this expression signifying killing intent that his body almost intuitively moves to protect Lelouch - but Marianne just hugs him.
"Lelouch and Nunnally are mother's treasures. I will always be with them and protect them. Forever and ever."
In her heart, Marianne adds: 'However, this is only true so long as you do not stand in the way of he and I.' She suddenly finds baby Nunnally staring at her - she smiles, and Nunnally suddenly trembles as if frightened.
All she can do is stare at her mother's smiling face.
Six months later the Britannian Empire starts its massive expansion campaign, with Marianne The Flash serving as Charles' greatest support.

Aftg x FNAF fic idea.
BACKGROUND
February, 1997- drake spear is (dishonorably) discharged from the marines.
the spear family decides to purchase a local pizza place (the upper middle class family thought it would be a good environment to raise foster kids also it’s a place where Richard can put his robotic prowess to use)
they have had two (foster kids) so far and for some reason none of them stick.
June, 1997- drake moves out of his parents house.
July, 1997- the business takes off under the spears management.
Children love the robots.
October, 1997- a child goes missing at the restaurant.
The police questioned the owners but determined none had anything to do with it.
They were wrong.
March, 1998- 12 year old Andrew Doe was placed in the care of the spears.
Two months later he meets drake (he was busy with the investigation and didn’t want to risk getting caught)
Andrew got quiet after that. (more so than usual)
The next two years are basically the same as canon for Andrew except the existence of Freddy Fazbears.
June, 2000- four children go missing at the pizzeria.
Drake tries to make Andrew watch the last one.
Andrew fights back(for the first time)
He couldn’t care less about himself but he draws the line at watching drake hurt other kids.
June, 2000- the Andrew Doe became the fifth victim of the 2000 missing children’s incident.
None of the children’s bodies are found.
Backtrack to two years earlier.
The business is loosing patronage because of the first murder.
Nathan Wesninskie, mob boss and serial killer, Nathan sees the goings down and decides to invest in the company to keep it going.
{Idk his reasoning but bare with me here}
Back in July, 2000- Nathan sends Lola and the newly caught Alex Nathaniel to clean up drakes mess.
Dead kids is not something Nathan wants to publicly be associated with.
Nathaniel tries to run.
Andrew gains a friend.
They are two enraged and vengeful souls stuck in the same vessel.(golden Freddy)
The actual story
Aarons pov. October 2000
He’s alone.
His mom is distant and neglectful.
But she’s never hurt him.(in canon she doesn’t start hurting him till after he contacts Andrew)
She’s high a lot.
She had a date with some guy and she lets him come with her. It’s at an exy game.
He likes exy.
This stranger keeps calling him Andrew and asking where he’s been.
He’s a police officer .
He has had a twin.
He steals his mom’s pills to ease the ache of what could have been.
He hates his mom for giving Andrew away. He hates the spears for letting Andrew out of their sight, he hates Officer Huggins for telling him about Andrew, most of all he hates himself for not being able to do anything to help Andrew.
His mom takes one too many pills when he’s 16, he doesn’t cry at her funeral.
He’s lucky Nicky cares.
They greave the “what if” together.
He’s 20, with a scholarship at palmetto university. He plays exy with Nicky.
He likes exy
He wonders if Andrew would have liked exy.
He’s been sober for years.
He and Matt really helped each other with their sobriety.
Kate also helps.
Every year on the date of his brothers disappearance he goes to the memorial. (There are no grave for a missing nobody, a Doe)
The spears knew but they didn’t want to think about it.
If they pretend Andrew never existed, then it never really happened, right.
Someone else is at the memorial.
Hes never really believed the spears were entirely innocent
the lady tells him about Freddy fazbears
She looks like a broken woman
(She lost her son)
Something doesn’t feel right
Over summer break he gets a job as a nighttime security guard.
His family comes with him for moral support (the foxes)
He is going to find out what happened to his brother.
And Andrew is going to fucking kill anyone who tries to hurt him or any of the other children.
(In his eyes anyone who is there at night is a threat)
Nothing good had ever happened when someone comes near him at night.
Then stuff happens and Aaron eventually finds out what happened to Andrew and he kills drake. In the end Andrew, Neil and the other kids are set free.
The sub plot would involve Andrew and Neil slowly growing to trust each other and the other dead kids forming a bond that starts to heal their mental wounds. Kinda their both still angry and vengeful ghosts who’s only purpose (in their minds) is to protect the other kids)
Andrew died fighting for them and that followed him into death and Neil ran when he saw Andrew’s corpse and although he ran for himself after death he feels unexplainably protective over Andrew.
NOT A ROMANTIC STORY FOR NEIL AND ANDREW. THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS PLATONIC BECAUSE THEY ARE FOURTEEN AND THIRTEEN AND DEAD. (They don’t need romance they need some who will stand unwavering at their side)

My Creepypasta OC, Cardinal!
Just a small ref doodle and lore summary for now, I plan on posting more of her and bits of story here soon! Been working on her since 2017, so I’m excited to finally yap about her on here :,>
⋆⁺₊⋆ ━━━━⊱༒︎ • ༒︎⊰━━━━ ⋆⁺₊⋆
[More info below the pics]

Shortened version of her story which I’m working on writing (this is still gonna be an absolute WALL of text so apologies in advance, haha):
Indy Coltovna, now known as “Cardinal” grew up in Estes Park, Colorado, born on November 13th, 1997. Around the time Indy was seventeen, it was not uncommon for kids to periodically go missing in the woods around their town. Indy lived with her older brother Alexei — who was also a rookie cop at the time, and her mother, Joan, while Indy’s father had been out of the country visiting family. Later on, as the missing children cases got progressively closer to the forest areas near where Indy and Alexei lived, Alexei became obsessed with wanting to find out what was going on that was causing the children to go missing so easily. Many had speculated the work of a serial killer, but younger folk had also been spreading rumors of a being called The Slenderman, making up stories about how allegedly, this supernatural being would kidnap and punish little kids for misbehaving. Most chalked it up to the former, or at the very least some diseased animal from how brutal the attacks were.
Regardless, Alexei set out one evening in September after doing some digging; determined to get a lead to where these kids might be. Tensions were high upon him especially at this time, because other cops assigned to the investigation were starting to drop like flies as well, which was the cause for his voluntary assignment to the case. He was never seen or heard from, until about four months later in December. Indy had been the one to find him in the woods, only he wasn’t acting like himself. Prior to finding Alexei, Indy had been getting strange dreams that would accompany her in the waking hours of the day, hinting at where Alexei might be. She had also been more reclusive during that time, self-isolating even from school, too plagued with nightmares of the (probably) deceased missing children to continue remaining in school. Additionally, she was also worried sick about her brother and if he would ever come back home. Rumors began to follow her as well, speculating that she was somehow responsible for his disappearance because of her sudden reclusive nature, or if she had any information about it.
Upon finding Alexei, her mind began to go blank, as if she was underwater. All noise seemed muffled, and the world looked surreal as a sickening nausea twisted her stomach. Her brother looked like he’d gone through hell, to say the least, as if he’d been in the woods for over a year despite being missing for a little over four months.
A faint buzzing noise like radio static rang in her ears, and something tall in the woods caught her attention. It was a tall, looming figure with a pale gaunt face, no eyes or mouth. It wore a pitch black suit, and had tendril-like appendages sprouting from its back. Alexei was oddly unfazed by the being, as if not even noticing its presence, whereas Indy was terrified, pleading with her older brother to leave with her and head back home to safety, unsure if this was even real at that point. Alexei wasn’t listening though, only arguing back which resulted in an uncharacteristic struggle between the two as the conflict grew into a physical altercation. By the time Indy’s mother had found her after hearing a gun go off near their house, the redhead was knelt in the wet and reddening snow, muttering to herself. She was forming incoherent sentences that didn’t make sense regarding a ‘Slender Man’ and ‘…killed Alexei’.
Because of Indy’s uncharacteristic behavior and reclusion leading up to Alexei’s death, she became a suspect, much to her mother’s shock and outrage. The court trial was a blur to Indy, she was barely able to keep a straight train of thought. The Slenderman would toy with her mind, manipulating her, making her see the missing children while in the courtroom, or it would trick her mind into thinking that she was in the middle of the forest, not even in court or around other people. Eventually her deteriorating mental state and derealization got to be so severe that she wasn’t able to continue her trial, and the case was settled with Indy being charged not guilty by reason of insanity. That didn’t stop the public from coming to their own conclusions, though.
From the ages of eighteen to twenty-six, Indy would proceed to be institutionalized in a mental facility, with the goal being to eventually rehabilitate her and help her recover. Her progress was not linear by any means, often she would get very little sleep from night terrors, and during the day, hallucinations only got worse. Gone were the missing kids, and she would see more and more of the faceless being. All did not seem lost, however. As if out of the blue, all symptoms of her psychosis gradually faltered, and she firstly thought it was due to a change in her medication. In reality, it was the calm before the storm, a false sense of security. A year after she was released from in-patient, now at the age of twenty-seven, Indy decided to visit the hospital for nostalgia’s sake due to her perceived recovery. She felt a pull to revisit the building, since most of her time spent there was more of a blur than anything else due to her medications and her mind blocking out any traumatic experiences since she was placed in an adult ward at a younger age compared to some of the other patients in there.
She never made it back home. Unknown to her, she would not be the first in the state of Colorado to go missing, let alone in her area. A few years prior, another case in Denver, although vastly different and a ways away from Estes Park, had some similarities. This was the case of Tobias Rogers, who Indy would later get acquainted with in her years of serving the Slenderman in proxyhood. Though Indy can’t remember much of her brother before she became a proxy - a result of both medication side effects and the Slenderman’s will - she still doesn’t truly know if Alexei died at her hands or not.

Quick-bite reviews: The Night Flier (1997) dir. Mark Pavia
Asshole, alcoholic, good-at-his-job tabloid reporter Richard Dees (Miguel Ferrer) is tasked with investigating a serial killer who flies a matte black Cessna and drains the blood of his victims. Dees' boss is eager to market the guy as a vampire, but Dees doesn't believe in the stories he covers. He just gets them at any cost.
This is a 90s HBO movie based on a Stephen King short story of the same name, and it feels it. Too drawn out for its goofy premise, with pacing calculated around the audience getting up for snacks approximately nine different times, many old Mainers telling stories within a story, and many more groaner lines of dialogue that must've come straight from King. The climatic 'battle' is the worst part of the film rather than the most exciting, and production decisions are consistently bad and weird. I'm front-loading the negatives here to say I understand why this is not a well-regarded movie, but I think it's one of the greatest vampire movies ever made.
I love that the titular Night Flier isn't just a 90s TV vampire, this is a dracula that adheres to all of the most interesting dracula rules And Then Some (I screamed in delighted disgust at least twice.) If you can avoid being spoiled* on the big reveal his vampire form owns, and I think the dog scene is genuinely frightening; hints at things to come in a surprising way for a very unsubtle movie. The plot is all about 'vampire vs Dees,' so 'bright-eyed rookie coworker vs Dees' feels a little half-baked and tacked on, but I like their characters and I really like what it ultimately does for the story. The scenes that bookend the climax with Night Flier and Coworker respectively? Flawless. The thing I liked most about this movie was, surprisingly, the way it looks. I think it's really well-shot and there's a lot of interesting stuff going on with bodies and environments. Americans kind of stopped shooting TV in the style of The X-Files or Sex and the City because that look is more melodramatic than 'real,' but here it works in favor of the plot, and coupled with film language starts to feel like more than the sum of its parts. The flashbacks pull off a format that was never intended for film with good framing, editing, and acting alone (special shoutout to John Bennes, a character actor who seemingly only ever played weird old men he KILLS IT as the first guy Dees interviews), and Dees' state of mind is always clear even when the movie isn't. I suspect part of the reason The Night Flier flopped is because it has an insane tone problem, torn between 'extremely lonesome and gruesome' and 'silly,' but it looks great doing it.
Buy a ticket? Night flyyy with me let's night flyyy night flyyy away~
#*any search of the movie anywhere will spoil what he looks like so if you want to go in blind Click My Link#but i promise there are still many surprises in store#i will of course plug Just King Things here in the tags which is how i found out about the short story- great podcast go listen#but i will ALSO say i know they did a bonus episode on this movie and i promise i have not listened to it!#that isn't to get ahead of plagiarism- the opposite- if they said anything different than me i'm turning into sad ant with bindle.jpg

My asks are currently on!
For those who stumble upon my account... Hello and how are ya? You can refer to me as Yume, Dreamy, Floof, Jora, JJ, Roving, Gryph or whatever nickname you wanna give me. I'm a genuinely curious individual who sometimes gets obsessed with stuff that I eventually want to get engaged with or stuff that I have no intention of trying out, but I'm very fascinated by it. I'm also just a silly, creative 18-year-old Canadian who's trying to get the most out of life.
My general pronouns are she/her, but I genuinely don't mind you referring to me as they/them and he/him.
If you want to know what my MBTI is, I consider myself to be a mix between INFJ-T and INFP.
Some of my hobbies include writing, listening to music, reading books and manga, watching YouTube, occasionally watching movies, TV shows or anime, and baking and drawing once in a blue moon. For those wondering what kind of art I do, I've primarily been doing a lot of digital art. However, I've been using traditional mediums (acrylic paint, markers, coloured pencils, and regular ol' pencils) for many years now. Before we move on with other stuff about me, some of my interests include psychology, sociology, criminology, law, biology, outer space, mythology, folklore, legends, religion, history, internet mysteries, and lost media.
I have mild anxiety and continue to struggle with the lingering effects of a language learning disability and several delays in receptive and expressive language development.
Please do not send me asks for donations

Rules:
I would like to stay anonymous for the most part, so don't pry me for certain information that I don't feel comfortable sharing. I'll only share bits and pieces of my life if I feel comfortable doing so.
Don't ask me for pictures of myself or I'll block you immediately!
Don't be rudely judgemental
Don't say discriminatory and sexually disgusting things
Don't threaten me
Don't tease me about who I am and how I act, even if it's a joke!
Don't spread accusations without any solid proof to me or I'll seriously demand you for it!
Don't spread hate about my friends or I'll tear you a new one!
Don't ask me for money/donations or I'll ignore you
Don't ask me to reblog something from you or I'll ignore you
Don't send me asks regarding real world crises or I'll ignore you
Don't send me reminders that I'm capable of remembering (e.g. a reminder to drink water)
Don't mention pre-existing fictional characters or other forms of media through the comments, reblogs, and inbox.
Don't tag me without my permission first! You're allowed to freely tag me in OC work, moodboards, important announcements, and moot/family stuff that doesn't involve a tag game. I don't like feeling pressured, which is stressful and discouraging for me.
Don't recommend me pieces of media I should watch and/or read because that gets under my skin really badly as I view it as a threat to my independence and freedom of choice. If you try to pressure me into a piece of media, I'll tell you off.
Please don't come to me to rant about your romantic partner or crush unless there's a real issue you need help figuring out.
Please be clear and patient when you talk to me. I'm still struggling with the lingering effects of my language delay and speech impediment.
I appreciate support, but I would prefer not to receive suggestions on what to do when I'm in a good mood. Sometimes, those suggestions can unintentionally add pressure and make me feel frustrated. I’m aware of my healthy coping mechanisms and trust myself to choose what feels right in the moment. However, if you have something to share, I’m open to hearing it. I’m working on expressing myself without coming across as standoffish and becoming more willing to accept supportive suggestions.
If you want to provide constructive criticism, give me more than one thing to work off of because it'll give more of an opportunity to grow.
Do not interact with me if you're one of the following (I'll add more if needed):

I’ve seen a lot of your MJ stuff, and there’s a lot of things I have to say (Don’t worry, I’m not an anti lol)
Looking back on the Leaving Neverland BS, I realized that every time one of these guys open their mouths, it’s like we’re talking about different predators. From what I remember, none of them had a “relationship” sense until Safechuck (He said it if felt like they were dating, and saying they started having sex not soon after they met, if I’m not mistaken). With Wade, it was simple touching, before it escalated to actual penetration one time after a few years (Not completely, btw). Chandler and Arvizo never made claims of anything of that nature, if I’m not mistaken. Other smaller accusations also don’t make sense, like Terry George being the only kid Michael had phone sex with.
Speaking more on this, it should ring some alarm bells on the fact that Michael has no straight M.O or “A.O.A”, which is weird in my opinion. Like I said before, it seems like we’re talking about different predators, and how we have no clear age he would be attracted to if we should believe all the allegations. First, it was 13, then 7-14, then 7-18 (Thanks to Safechuck’s train station story), then for some reason, a girl (even though he’s supposed to be attracted to boys, but okay).
Real quick, what do you think about the rumors that Frank Cascio had sued the estate, and it apparently bringing up his own version of allegations, and apparently selling his own collection of Michael items a while back (just like Wade).
On a lighter note, every now and then, I remember this one post (although I’m not sure if it’s true) that when the authorities were going over Michael’s tapes, there was one named “baby chicks” (which is a name predators apparently like to name CSA content with little girls). When they thought they had something, they played it, and it turned out to be hours of baby chickens and ducks that Michael had recording.
oh thank god lmao I saw this message in my notifs and thought “here we go again” until I opened it 😭
You got a lot of things to say? Speak on it bestie, cuz I ALSO got lots to say so I’d be more than happy to talk
It’s true that each one of Michael Jackson’s accusers try to paint him as a very different type of serial pedophile with very different tactics of abuse and grooming. James Safechuck literally pulled out a ring on camera and said Michael gave it to him to represent their eternal love or some shit 😭😭😭 LMAOO I canttttt with these cunts

BITCH WHAT THE FUCK LMAOOOO he had a little box and everything on standby it fucking SENDSSSSS MEEEEEE
Who the actual fuck would ever keep a PROMISE RING that their rapist gave them 27 years ago ?!!?!!!? 😭😭😭😭😭 HELP
Wade also tries to make comments in Leaving Neverland alluding to this idea that he had some sort of romantic relationship with MJ. Both of them do in their wording. Wade and James are all like “yeah Michael Jackson anally raped us but we liked it. We wanted him to keep doing it. We were jealous of Macaulay and Brett bc he was replacing us with them”
and Michael was friends w Brett and Macaulay first 😂 so how did he manage to “replace” them w Mac and Brett ???
Anyway, the whole reason Wade and James sound like they’re alleging they had intimate romantic relationships w MJ is because they both steal their stories from that book “Michael Jackson was my lover” written by Victor Gutierrez who was literally a pedophile and NAMBLA member. MJ sued him over this disgusting kiddie porn book he published in 1997 and he WON and was awarded 2.7 million in damages. Gutierrez fucked off back to Chile and filed bankruptcy and then got caught coaching little boys to lie and say politicians had sexually abused them.
Literally, Wade and Jame’s claims come directly from this sickening book. Idk if you know about this book, but Gutierrez alleged it was Jordan Chandler’s secret diary he wrote about his relationship w MJ. In the book it talks about their relationship as being intimate and romantic, the wording says shit like how MJ being a pedo will hopefully make pedophilia acceptable in society, and Gutierrez also directly thanks NAMBLA in said book in the acknowledgements.
The claims that MJ gifted boys jewelry after sex, the claim of wedding vows/marriage, the claim of jealousy over Mac and Brett, and the claim of anal rape are all in this book. This is the only place these claims were ever made until Wade and James came out after MJ died. Jordan Chandler himself signed legal declarations in the mid 90’s stating this “diary” and these claims were untrue. So did the other members of the Chandler family.
Anyway…. If I continue I will literally not shut up so let’s move forward w another section of your ask lololol.
“Then for some reason a girl” LMAOOOO YES I KNOW 😭😭😭😭 I remember when that random person came forward trying to say MJ abused her but she wouldn’t reveal her face/name and then after a little while the claims just disappeared entirely lol. You know what I think it is? I think Wade or James filed that themselves pretending to be a woman in the suit and they did it to try and make their shit more believable somehow cuz idiots think “more accusers = more truthful claims” but it actually did the opposite lol bc for 30 years, Michael Jackson has been lynch mobbed as a pedophile attracted and preying on YOUNG BOYS and Only young boys. Never EVER girls. Ever! The media has run with this lie that MJ is obsessed with little boys for so long that Wade and co trying to disrupt that narrative w their bullshit made even some guilters pause and be like “hm that was a little sus”
Like which is it? Is MJ obsessed with little boys or did he rape little girls too? Lmao make up yalls minds !!!
“What do you think about the rumors of Frank Cascio”
I think they’re just that: rumors. I’ve never seen any proof to substantiate that claim. The only thing I know for sure about the Cascio’ is that they sold fake music recordings w an imposter after MJ died to his Estate for a quick buck. Bc like pretty much everybody else who was surrounding Michael save for a very small few, they too didn’t even wait till the man’s body was cold before they began sniffing around for ways to make money off him.
And lastly, as for that last story, I’ve never heard of that. I don’t think that’s true, bc I’ve never seen any evidence for it, but on the off chance that it is: that’s really funny and it is something I could picture 😂 sometimes I just imagine the sheriffs raiding Neverland Ranch and they’re ripping up the mattresses and tearing up the floor and going through everything comically pulling out dozens of heterosexual hustler and playboy mags 😭😭😭 like that episode of SpongeBob where he starts ripping off wallpaper and shit and it’s full of diapers lmao but instead of it being that it’s just tons of porn mags and they’re all like “why are there so many”

What would you recommend for someone who's never really been able to get into horror movies but is super into psychological horror?

Rosemary's Baby (1968) - A young couple trying for a baby moves into an aging, ornate apartment building on Central Park West, where they find themselves surrounded by peculiar neighbors.
Funny Games (1997) or (2007) - both versions are great - Two violent young men take a mother, father, and son hostage in their vacation cabin and force them to play sadistic "games" with one another for their own amusement.
The Shining (1980) - A family heads to an isolated hotel for the winter where a sinister presence influences the father into violence, while his psychic son sees horrific forebodings from both past and future.
Don't Look Now (1973) - A married couple grieving the recent death of their young daughter are in Venice when they encounter two elderly sisters, one of whom is psychic and brings a warning from beyond.
The Silence of the Lambs (1991) - A young F.B.I. cadet must receive the help of an incarcerated and manipulative cannibal killer to help catch another serial killer, a madman who skins his victims.
Annihilation (2018) - A biologist signs up for a dangerous, secret expedition into a mysterious zone where the laws of nature don't apply.
Possessor (2020) - An agent works for a secretive organization that uses brain-implant technology to inhabit other people's bodies - ultimately driving them to commit assassinations for high-paying clients.
A Tale of Two Sisters (2003) - After spending time in a mental hospital, a girl is reunited with her sister and returns home, only to see some truly strange events start to happen.
The Thing (1982) - A research team in Antarctica is hunted by a shape-shifting alien that assumes the appearance of its victims.
Creep (2014) - A young videographer answers an online ad for a one-day job in a remote town to record the last messages of a dying man. When he notices the man's odd behavior, he starts to question his intentions.

Your Pal’s Movie Reviews: Nightwatch 1997
(Aka Would you like to have a children’s song ruined for life?) find all of my movie reviews here

There’s a lot in this that is uncomfortable. Besides the murder bits, there’s gross treatment of women and a bar scene that made my skin crawl
The plot: baby faced Ewan takes a job moonlighting as a night guard at a morgue. A necrophiliac serial killer is active and starts setting it up to look like Ewan is the one responsible.
Ewan content: his attempt at a “neutral” accent is a minus but his fresh baby face and hedgehog hair is a (maybe) plus. He gets a handjob under the table of a fancy restaurant and that’s fun for a minute. He’s also cute in a bathtub (no full nudity) for a second. Love interests: has a girlfriend but no action. He cries and is scared if you like whump content
The movie: most if it is spent building up tension, like to a ridiculous tacky degree. It makes it seem like it will turn into a horror movie, but I feel like it’s solidly in the “what’s going on here” thriller category. When the true killer is revealed and everything ends, I was left with some very big questions about how some of the connections were made framing Ewan.
TLDR: if you like thrillers and murder movies it’s alright and I’d give it a watch. I have to watch it again to plug this plot hole - maybe I missed something about how certain people knew things when
#your pals movie reviews#nightwatch#ewan mcgregor#making my way though his filmography#I will literally watch anything ewan decides to grace with his presence

" Randy asked ".
Mickey replied, "Halloween, Friday the 13th, The godfather part 2 and terminator 2. What about you, Randy? "Mickey asked." Randy replied with," I love Friday the 13th, chucky, Texas chainsaw massacre and stab 1. Nice picks, mickey said. Hey Randy, do you wanna meet my friend group at the sorority party tonight. Yeah, mickey, I'd love to go with you.
A few hours pass, and Randy shows up at the sorority house and is looking for mickey. Randy grabs a beer and goes outside to see mickey Alteri with some girls talking. Mickey turns around to see Randy. Hey Randy, how are you doing? "Mickey asked." I'm good, mickey. How are you?"Randy asked." I'm still a little off edge from these murders of some guy in a ghostface mask,"Mickey replied. Well, we're in a public area. we will be fine for now, "Randy replied. Hey mickey, you wanna get some drinks. Sure, Randy, let's go now. Mickey and Randy went inside the house and made some mixers with some Rum, vodka, and some coke cola. 2 hours passed, and mickey and Randy were starting to get drunk and were swaying around as they tried to walk. Randy went to the gate and threw up everywhere and fell to the ground. Everyone looked in shock and then started laughing. Mickey picked up Randy and said, "Let's get you all sobered up and safe. Mickey and Randy share a dorm room, so Mickey takes Randy to the dorm. Mickey gives Randy some water and places him on his bed.
Mickey didn't know how to tell him he was the masked killer.
Randy groans and wakes up. Mickey went over to him and told him to shush. Randy, it's okay. Go back to sleep. It's gonna be all good.
A few days passed, and mickey and Randy didn't really talk that much, but they were still very close friends. Hey Randy, you alright. Yeah, mickey, I'm good. I've recovered from the other day. Mickey started to take notes from the teacher, but Mickey kept on looking at Randy for short periods of time. Randy didn't know about mickeys secret about being a serial killer. Mickey is having this weird obsession with randy also he wants him to himself. Hey Randy, can we meet in our dorm after our classes. Yeah, Mickey, I'll come over. Mickey started to smirk as Randy was falling for his trap.
Later that day, at around 10pm randy walked through the dorm. Hey Randy, you alright. Yeah, what is it you want, mickey?. Shut the door and lock it for me Randy it's very important. Uhh, okay, "Randy replied. Good now, sit down, Randy. Remember when we were talking about the masked killer. Randy nods his head. Yeah, I do. Mickey smirks and says well I'm the killer, Randy, and you fell into my trap."
W-what, "Randy replied no it can't be. " Oh, but it is Randy, and you're in trouble. Mickey pinned Randy against the wall and picked up a piece of rope. Randy started to panic and beg mickey, please don't. Mickey ignored his pleases and started to wrap the rope around his wrists and legs. Randy whimpers in fear, trying to convince him to stop. Mickey had finished tying him up and threw Randy on the ground. Mickey pulled out his buck knife and placed it next to Randy's face. Mickey, no, please don't. Randy starts to cry and beg. Shh, Randy, this might hurt a little. Mickey clamps his hand on his mouth and slices Randy's cheek. Randy makes a muffled whimper and starts crying. Mickey licks up the blood and removes his hand.
What a good boy meeks. Now i wanted to say that I love you, Randy, and I'm obsessed. But I'm not gay "Randy says. Well, if you aren't gay meeks, then why are you hard right now? mickey smirks. Mickey unbuckles his jeans to reveal his huge dick. Mickey bends down next to Randy. Randy, open your mouth for me like a good boy. Randy opens his mouth, and mickey shoves his dick in his mouth. Randy sucks on mickey cock as mickey groans and pulls on Randy's hair. Randy gags on mickeys hard dick. Mickey saw him gagging and started smirking. That's it meeks get it all wet for me like a good boy. Randy continues to suck his cock and goes faster. Randy I'm gonna fucking cum in you. Mickeys dick twitches, and his c-men goes into Randy's mouth. Swallow it down meeks. Randy gulps mickeys cum. Now it's my turn on you meeks. Mickey undoes Randy's jeans and starts using the blood from the knife as a lubricant. Randy groans and starts to breathe heavy. Fuck mickey you're making me wet. Mickey started laughing a little. Aww, what a gay needy guy you are for mickey Alteri. Mickey strokes Randy's penis more and faster. Oh fuck I'm gonna cum mickey. Oh yes randy cum for me like a gay bitch that you are. Randy leaks all over mickeys hands. What a leaking mess you are meeks. Just for you, "Randy replies.
Now get ready for me to fuck you meeks. Mickey lined up his erected dick against Randy's ass. Mickey shoves his hard dick into him and starts to pound him. Randy moans as mickey pounds him fuck less. I'm gonna make cream pies in you, Randy, and you're gonna take it all. Randy nods his head and groans and mickey fucks him. Oh fuck I'm about to cum again randy. Mickeys penis twitches again and realises his c-men in Randy's ass. Mickey stuck his fingers in his cum and shoved it in Randy's mouth forcing him to lick it up. You're mine forever. meeks, never forget that.
I gotta go kill again. I will be back for round 2 meeks. Mickey unties Randy and leaves him on the floor.
