Okay, I am currently rewatching Helluva Boss, and I just finished S1 Ep7: OZZIE'S, and... How do some people genuinely believe Stolitz is one-sided?

From what I've seen, Blitzø absolutely returns Stolas' feelings, even if he refuses to acknowledge/accept that he does. A lot of people, from what I've seen, have been using Blitzø' words to Stolas in OZZIE'S and his words about Stolas to Fizzarolli in OOPS as arguments for why Blitzø "clearly" doesn't love Stolas back, but my question is, do some of y'all not have basic media literacy?

Sorry if that’s rude, but seriously. There are plenty of clues to how Blitzø is actually feeling during and after these scenes.

1. Blitzø was literally holding back TEARS as he said that in the van scene.

2. He says that Stolas has made it very clear that all it is is Stolas wanting to be fucked. That wording is very distinct and, honestly, says that Blitzø does NOT want it to just be a Fuck Buddies things.

2.5. May I remind everyone that Stolas literally calls Blitzø his "Impish little plaything" in Truth Seekers? And that that likely just confirmed the insecurities we know he was already feeling? (We know he was feeling insecure about his and Stolas' relationship already because of how he reacted in S1 Ep5 to Striker goading him)

3. Literally ALL of what happens after the van scene. Including all of Episode 8. He goes home and cries himself to sleep, and then goes and self-destructs at a party. Bee said it herself that he wasn't drinking to have fun.

4. In S2 Ep6: OOPS, His face when he said it was nothing more than Stolas being horny gives away how hurt he actually is. He is desperately trying to convince Fizz and remind himself that Stolas doesn't want anything more.

Honorary mention that I'm not sure is really a fifth point is him calling Fizz and Ozzie hypocrites.

Moving on from those scenes and onto Blitzø's insecurities about love and his self-worth issues. Blitzø does not believe he deserves love. He does not believe anyone does or can love him. We can see this in how he acts with the people in his life. He pushes them away. He is obsessed with M&M's relationship because they're the only model of a healthy relationship he's ever had, and he wants that with someone. We also can tell because of how he reacts to what Fizz and Verosika say in OZZIE'S.

Blitzø hates himself. He crosses out his face in the pictures hung up in his apartment. He blames himself for an accident that caused his mother's death, his best friend to lose his limbs, and his sister to hate him.

No one was truly there for him after the accident. Fizz may have been crippled, but he had a support system. Blitzø did not, and no one was there to tell him it wasn't his fault.

Not to mention the fact that up until the accident, he was CONSTANTLY being put down and told Fizzarolli was better than him. Even his own father cared more for Fizz than him. Honestly, I'm surprised there isn't any actual animosity towards Fizz on Blitzø's part.

Speaking of the fire and Fizz, Blitzø was planning to confess romantic feelings to Fizz that night before the accident (We know this because of the letter and flower he was holding before the fire started). That likely made it difficult for him to confess his love to someone because if you think his brain wouldn't connect love confessions to the greatest trauma of his life, you're dead wrong.

Brains make weird ass connections when it comes to trauma/traumatic events.

In conclusion, Blitzø loves Stolas, Stolas loves Blitzø, and they both need to heal and get their shit together. Stolitz forever.

Isn't funny how antis keeps saying "Stolas used his position and power to scare Blitzø into having sex with him!" When Blitzø never once has looked scared or been afraid to say no or reject Stolas throughout the show.

In fact, he's much more scared of his clients than Stolas or any other higher ups in hell, like Mammon, Bee and Ozzie.

I have another Vivziepop critical post to make. This time it is a VERY important post on stereotypes and how they cause harm to society. We will be looking at three parallel cases.

We all know Angel Dust being a harmful gay stereotype, right? Gay men have spoken about this, only to be shut down by Viv and her cult. Here is one of the complaints:

Remember the musical Pokémon Live? For those who don't know, it was a touring stage show from the 2000s featuring the characters from the original series (Ash, Misty, Brock, Team Rocket, ect.)

Well for those who don't know, James of Team Rocket was played by Andrew Rannells, a gay man. Well basically, in the musical, James was written like a stereotypical gay man (very familiar, right?) Years after the musical, Andrew did a video on his experience as the character in it and said some things that well, upset stans. Although he was grateful for the experience and being with the cast, he felt very uncomfortable being James and didn't want to offend anyone, thinking of all the queer kids who would watch it in person on on TV. During the pre-show he was thinking of making James different and not offensive like in the script, but the directors and the team said otherwise, that he needed to follow the script. His stress only worsened once the musical started touring. While explaining his experience, many stans harassed him, saying that he was "being sensitive and pretentious" and that he's "making it up". To those who sent him those hurtful comments, you are not a gay man who feels like he's invalidating his community and feels uncomfortable. He was also not criticizing the show or media, in fact, he's actually a fan of Pokémon. He was actually very grateful for the job, and that the enthusiasm of the kids made his day, and he was also grateful due to him being in a financial crisis before the show, which leads to the next parallel case: Kesha. For those who don't know, Kesha was Beelzebub in Helluva Boss. During the time, she was in a financial crisis and lucky for Viv, she was obsessed with Kesha and due to the crisis, was taken control of. Both Andrew and Kesha were also typecasted for superficial roles that don't reflect who they truly are. Kesha being seen as the mean white party girl and Andrew being seen as the stereotypical gay man. It's like if I, a pansexual woman, was casted as an "It's a hole it's a goal" character. I wish the best for them and I hope they do well moving on.

Hey a lot of Hellaverse critics on here and Twitter nowadays have been calling Stolas a “coercive rapist,” how do you feel about those claims?

Short Version: Stolas is not a coercive rapist.

Long Version:

Let's start at s1 e5: 'When this happens, it's not really something I fuss about...' and 'Well, I'm not a fan of someone I offered a job to about to off my easiest lengthy ticket to Earth behind my back.'

Notice how Blitz says 'easiest lengthy ticket' here, not 'only ticket', and Blitz knows about Asmodean Crystals, as evidenced by unhappy campers where Blitz forces someone to use it to create a portal to the living world, so the grimoire was never the only option Blitz could've used to run I.M.P.

Sure losing the grimoire would've disrupted business for a bit, but again, it was never Blitz's only option, so the coercion argument already falls flat there, but let's beat it up a bit further shall we?

Now let's look at s1 e7, at the ending of it Stolas never pressures or forces Blitz into having sex with him or quote 'We could talk, or… watch a movie, or… maybe cuddle?', Blitz turns Stolas down here, and Stolas never forces or pressures Blitz into doing said things with him, and you know what this also proves? It proves that Blitz has always had the self-agency to tell Stolas 'no I don't want to fuck you', which also shows that Blitz actually wanted to have sex with Stolas, which we can prove by the text messages Stolas and Blitz had after Ozzie's.

These text messages show that Stolas is actively giving Blitz the option to not fuck him, which also tells us that Blitz always had the option to tell Stolas no, and hell, we can see in the All 2 U song that Blitz turned down Stolas most likely asking Blitz to stay after the sex, proving even further Blitz always had the self-agency to tell Stolas no, which shows that Blitz wanted to have sex with Stolas.

I sure wish there was a funny little song showing Blitz wanting to fuck Stolas out of his entire own free will to just really drive in the point, -oh wait that actually exists.

and now let's look at apology tour again, Blitz wants the arrangement back, to fuck Stolas again.

Which tells us something that the people peddling the bullshit 'Stolas is a rapist' argument entirely ignore, Blitz is the one unhappy with the arrangement ending, not Stolas, Blitz.

Also, Blitz has the crystal by this point, Blitz could've easily have just told Stolas to fuck off and leave if Blitz was truly being coerced and raped by Stolas, but he chooses to stay because at this point he thinks this gesture is a farewell gift from Stolas, and it's been made very clear that Blitz has strong feelings for Stolas by this point despite his self-hatred, that he doesn't want to lose Stolas, which also helps to further prove that Blitz wanted to have sex with Stolas out of his entire free will.

Blitz having sex with Stolas was a way for Blitz to be close to Stolas without having to be vulnerable, and when Stolas gets rid of the arrangement Blitz is scared because it would force Blitz to be vulnerable towards Stolas.

Is all of this really the behavior of a person who felt coerced into sex he didn't want to have? Because I think it's pretty fucking clear that Blitz at no point felt coerced into having sex with Stolas, and the antis/critics that claim otherwise I have good grounds to believe aren't even watching the same show anymore.

Something that helluva boss is incredibly brave in doing is refusing to bow down to any kind of black and white morality system.

First and foremost I should bring up is how some so called "critics" of this show have attempted to claim that vivi is an "elitist apologist" because striker is a villain and it doesn't make the simple "eat the rich" ideology the most moral one.

I know that especially in times like these that resentment and anger towards those who are behind the massive mess we find ourselves in is at an all time high and 99% of it is totally and completely justified but one thing we have to remember is that the moment we stop considering another group as some evil and/or lesser we cross a very dangerous line.

What many of these people fail to understand is that the fact of the matter is that not every one of the "bourgeois" is a single minded monster determined to ruin the lives of the common folk for their own amusement. For sure the elites of the world are often the cause of most of our problems but acting as if they are simply evil by nature of what class they were born into is bigotry plan and simple.

People have a problem with conflating revenge with justice. Some people will insist that villains like magnetio and kill monger where justified in their actions because they only wished to bring an end to systemic oppression but the reality is that the mere act of opposesing systemic abuse and oppression is not some grand moral statement that places one above all criticism it just means you have enough compassion and Decency to understand that building systems that force people into horrible and unfair places is wrong which shouldn't be treated as if it's some massive moral revaluation!!

Strikers character is all about this folly. He's supposed to be a deconstruction of the idea that all it takes to fix a society is to give it the right leader because sometimes the problems with system are just too deeply rooted and much like a rotten foundation of a house the whole thing has to knocked down to start from scratch. He also embodies the folly that simply removing the people that created and corrupt system will magically make the system go away.

In some ways it makes sense that people would think this way. Many times when a tyrant is exposed as fallible in any way even against something as unbickqoutus as death their cults of personality die with them. But other times their influence will never seem to die and their will always be stupid, ignorant and/or evil people who will continue to rally to their vile cause even after it's creators death.

The point I'm trying to make is that what some people don't seem to understand is that their is more to social justice than just yelling "eat the rich!" And "fuck the one percent!" You have to actually look a the real problems of society, their causes and how to fix them and not be naive enough to belive that killing rich people indiscriminately will cause the world's evils and oppressive systems to vanish into thin air.

I've said it before and I will say it again. Striker is nothing but a bag of hot air and if you couldn't figure that out even after he had his own song about his own "greatness" then I'm not sure I can help you. Striker represents a type of villain some people on the left side of the political spectrum Don't want to acknowledge (for fair reasons as this often used to deny any form of societal reform) a performative Activest and a fake revolutionary. He is a reminder that there is a right and a wrong way to go about toppling corrupt systems. Their is blitzs way of actually doing something that would help your fellow victims of the system and help them rise up and then their is strikers way of yelling "eat the rich" expecting people to bow down to your Riddick and respect you for the most basic of social commentary and doing anything and everything to hurt those above you regardless if they are actually responsible for the injustices of the system all while comprising your "ideals" in the support of your own personal need for power and revenge.

Me: Again, Blitzø was the one who STARTED to flirt with HIM. So Stolas saying this (see screenshots bellow) had nothing to do with blackmail or making him feel bad, but instead as a way to show Blitzø that he is so exicted that it's HIM, his first ever friend, that he gets to share this very first intimate moment with.

I think the reason us helluva boss/hazbin hotel fans get so defensive about criticism is because a lot of the "critics" just hate vivzie and the shows themselves. It's come to the point that any criticism for this show feels like an angry mob. In any other fandom I'm fine with criticism, but the fact that "critics" have said that they can't wait for viv's downfall + even wished that she died has made me hostile towards it. Haters have taken over the critique part of the fandom and turned it into a cesspool of disgusting rage. That level of hate towards a creator is unfathomable. Why do they think this is okay?
