I felt the same. I mean, I'm not as deep in the bts shenanigans for wwdits as I have been for other shows, so maybe I blissfully ignorant of context, but Supernatural, Sherlock, HIMYM etc felt far more deliberately disrespectful to us fans (and I say that in the full belief that there were people on Supernatural fighting for things like Destiel). I do get wanting more follow through on dropped storylines/relationships etc, and s6 feeling a bit directionless, but "the creators are openly mocking us" was not the vibe I was getting...

like i get it and it's valid to feel the way you feel, but this "disrespect" and "laughing at your audience" ... I don't see it? i don't feel it? i just see them trying to give everyone an ending that they could enjoy??? like, people keep talking about these things, but personally that's not the way i feel about it? i didn't feel laughed at any point? nor i see this conclusion as "mean" but like... yeah, ok, i guess.
