Ring Toss - The idea of this game is simple, you have a small ring and there are a lot of bottles or pegs, and you need to throw a ring that needs to land on one of the bottles. normally, these games are considered scams because of how hard it is to actually win, the material of both the bottle and the ring. Most carnival games are like this, you need to either be really good or get really lucky to win them.

coconut shy- the game is fairly simple, you have a ball and you have a coconut on a stand, all you have to do is throw the ball and knock the coconut off the stand, this game is normally hard as people overestimate their chances and throw too hard, trading accuracy for power. To win this game, you need to be a good powerful throw with a lot of accuracy to hit the coconut, then you will win.

Hook a Duck - this game is probably the most easy but the most expensive, most stands boast a prize every time thing, where you keep going until you win, this stand gives you a pole with a hook on the end of it, and you need to hook a duck, seems simple enough, this is the easiest game to play and win at, usually winning on the first try.

Darts and balloons - this game you need to throw a dark, usually blunted so the balloons don't pop every time, and you then throw the darts at the balloons, this game is very simple but very hard sometimes, with the end of the dart being blunted you need to throw it at quite some force and accuracy to pop the balloons, having a similar situation to the coconut shy.

Most of these games are fairly simple to play but hard to win, these games are fairly accessible, needing only a throwing arm and thats about it, hook a duck would be a bit more difficult but i can see people playing this game easily. Most rewards of these games include toys, plasticky toy guns and swords and plushies.

Fairground Games

Hook-A-Duck - A simple game where you use a rod with a loop at the end to pick up hooks on ducks. Impossible to lose, you get a prize every time. The player feels accomplished when playing the game as they win regardless of skill level. It's great for children or people with lower mobility as it's simple to do.

Ring Toss - Trying to toss rings so they land on pegs or bottles. This game requires a small amount of skill as you need aim and also need the ring to travel flat in order to get it on the pegs. It's not particularly easy to win this one and is more difficult for children or people with limited mobility. It makes people feel really good about winning though because it's more difficult.

40 years ago, the first original animated series from Disney Television Animation ("Adventures of The Gummi Bears" & "The Wuzzles") debuted on syndication. The studio recently debuted it's 100th series ("StuGo") back in January.

Here's the widescreen version of the voice actor showcase that Disney TVA's Tik Tok uploaded as part of Disney Television Animation's 40th Anniversary back in December 2024

The upload of this honors the upcoming 40th anniversaries of the first two productions of the studio "The Wuzzles" & "Adventures Of The Gummi Bears" who celebrate it's anniversary in September.

Today is the Champions League league phase draw, and McDuck Manor is a mess.

We have a Scottish man and an English woman arguing over which team will have a new moment of glory and which will be eliminated in the first round.

We have two fans of the two teams with the most titles trying so hard to be invisible.

We have a desperate man who can't let his Scottish uncle learn that he supports an English team.

And we have a woman who is depressed because her also English team, is playing Europa League.

The idea of Scrooge as a Celtic fan I read it on this really good fic, The McDuck Family Lawyer. It wasn't that hard to select the others characters and the teams.

Is Carmy actually broke, though?

I read online CDCs in NYC in fine dining can make upwards of $100K. Now, I do think Chef David probably is a low-baller who thinks it's a "privilege" to work for him, and housing in NYC is extremely expensive, but Carmy could've lived in a flat with roommates for all we know.

In Chicago Carmy lives in a very basic way. I'm sure his flat isn't cheap at all, but he's obsessed with his job, and he has spent money on things like selvage jeans (which he immediately starts selling to buy beef) and expensive ingredients on occasion, and we see him eating PBJ at home in S1 and his furniture looks used, no decor, etc. Which could be a carry-over from how he lived in NYC, or, he wasn't planning on putting down roots at first?

Carmy is also bad with math, but I don't think Cousin Michelle and Stevie are. They make a point of showing Stevie commenting on this in Fishes when talking to the Faks trying to scam him, and Michelle has invested in restaurants suggesting she's not hurting for cash.

So, does Carmy have money stashed away? What do you all think?

Would it be bad if he has his personal money invested somewhere and didn't put it all immediately into The Beef given that he inherited it without being asked, was unsure of how bad its finances really were, has never led a restaurant before, and his family all told him out of the gate it would fail immediately and that he should sell it? He also kind of chastises Nat for lending money to Mikey as well.

Keep in mind, he was on deferred pay the whole time as well, just like Syd was, because she tells her dad as much.

I don't think Carmy's personal finances really come up, but maybe I missed something? I assumed he signed the partnership agreement, but Cicero is the one on the hook for the money, right? Cicero gave Mikey all that money and Mikey hid it rather than use it and left it for Carmy. Nat and Cicero encourage Syd to sign it. Is it not fully executed until she signs it? Does this leave Cicero on the hook fully if The Bear fails?

Storer said Mikey was telling the truth to Jimmy about wanting to franchise, and that he wanted to start it with Carmy before he died. But he hid the money away and never told Carmy. Mikey was an addict and also sealing it in the tomato cans feels totally like Mikey's sense of humor. But never said a word about it to Carmy, just wrote him the note and told only him where the money was.
