𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐔𝐍!
★ NAME: Luan
★ PRONOUNS: He/Him/Dude/Bro/My guy/etc.
★ BEST EXPERIENCE: I... honestly can't think of any? I've had more bad experiences than good. Maybe I'd say when I finally found my footing with independent OCs with Izren and ended up buddies with Bear and his whole entourage of writing partners. I've joined up on Discord servers with people I write with in the past, but I've never had fun like we do on his server. Plus we play D&D!
★ PREFERENCE OF COMMUNICATION: Discord is my go-to if you wanna reach me. I use Tumblr IMs too, though with how they're about as functional as a Bethesda game, I often ask if we can move over to DMs.
I've got my Discord tab open 24/7 on both my laptops, plus I have the app on my phone. I lurk a lot. But nine times outta ten, I'm more of a reactive replier, almost always messaging back rather than messaging first.
★ MOST ACTIVE MUSE: Kouki, always. Getting into the mood with him is so stupidly easy. Put on any rock music, think about any series, play a video game, whatever- and there's always something that makes me do that Leo pointing meme and think "Hey, that gives me ideas for that white-haired little gremlin!"
★ EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS: I've honestly lost track lmao. Ballpark estimate is 11-13 years since I started around 2010 to 2013, with my intro to roleplaying being those ancient Quotev quizzes and the chatroom website Chatzy. If I remember correctly, my first actual RP was either in a Sonic chatroom or a Naruto chatroom. And I've never even watched Naruto- I was going on nothing other than the Fandom Wiki. You could even say that my cringe-worthy OC there was the first iteration of Kouki. Only reason I still remember that chat was one of my writing partners died of some terminal illness. Basically drowned in her own blood.
After that, I moved here to Tumblr. It started with Pokemon blogs... then Steven Universe (where I saw them actively out-toxic the MLP fanbase and drive them out of the fanbase)... then I was the sole Soul Calibur roleplayer... then I made a Skyrim OC based on the Kid Dragonborn mod... then I fell back onto Naruto and joined the fanbase here with more cringy OCs... made my other, still on-going Pokemon blog about eight-ish years ago... joined the JJBA fandom, which was and still is the best fandom I ever joined... then I joined the RWBY fandom... then the BNHA fandom... and now we're here!
★ RP PET PEEVES:
I'm gonna cheat a bit and leave two of Bear's peeves, if only because he completely hits the nail on the head. There's just no better way to put it without rehashing things.
Excessive commentary blogging. Before it was just a lot of dash commentary that had me going 'eh'. But in recent years it's gone past that. I've become disenchanted with blogs that become largely commentary for whatever it is they're doing on Discord. All power to those Discord groups doing what they do! But it reaches a point for me that I don't really see them as indie, and it can feel insurmountable trying to interact with them if you're not entangled with their zig-zagging plotlines.
Blog hoppers. Because for a slow burner and long hauler like myself, they're the most impossible people to write with! Which is a shame, because a lot of the hoppers I come across do seem to have some writing talent to them!
Fandom RP events. When I was younger, I used to love the idea of these big events with their own plotlines and moving parts that anyone could participate in if they wanted to. Galas, holiday parties, festivals- stuff like that.
That lasted until 2018, when I kickstarted Bernadotte's original JJBA blog and brought back my long-running Pokemon blog. In the span of something like 5 months, eight separate RP events happened back-to-back in just the JJBA fandom alone. You can only try to participate and be entirely ignored for so long before it sours your whole outlook.
And I mean entirely. I remember writing twelve different starters that people asked for, responding to numerous open threads and starters, liking many different event starter calls, sending asks- the whole shebang. Not even once did I get anything back. If you enjoy fandom RP events, more power to you. But I've been burned too many times to even want to try.
★ PLOTS OR MEMES: Doesn't matter to me! Either way is great! Back in the day, I relied heavily on memes without any ideas for plot, just sending in whatever sounded like something my muse would say. Basically "Oops! All Memes!" Now? I put more thought into things. Overthink things too.
Receiving memes? I almost always ask if there was a reason or an idea driving my partners to send in that specific thing 'cause you never know, y'know? They usually do. But it really doesn't matter to me if they do or don't. I'm just happy to write with y'all.
★ ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S)?: There's a little bit of me in every one of my muses! An example off the top of my head? Kouki is based on how I was as a kid his age. Corbin was inspired by my high school years, my love for old books and poetry, and my music tastes. My Pokemon OC was straight-up a self-insert when I started that blog. Tino came from my RWBY days and my absolute love for weaponry.
They've all got fragments of me in 'em!

I'm seeing a lot of comments where people are trying to figure out where to go to roleplay with real people. So I wanted to add on with some advice for you.
If you're unsure where to go, there are many places to find fellow roleplayers. Look around on Tumblr's search feature for RP and askblogs, or consider making one yourself and tagging it with your fandom to be seen. If you write fanfiction, maybe put an offer at the end of your fic to roleplay with people in that fandom.
Search around for fandom Discord servers that have an RP section. I recently found myself in a Kirby server where the roleplaying scene is really fun. I'm mostly a spectator, but it's amazing how many tools there are for that, from typing regularly to making character profiles with Tupperbot and similar tools. Look for forum websites to see if they have any RP forums. I used to be a part of a forum on TV Tropes for a roleplayl called We Have All Been Gender Flipped, or WHABGF for short. Genuinely had a lot of fun there.
Heck, back when YouTube had a comments section on people's channels, my earliest internet roleplaying days were there. If you want to go make a YouTube video and use the comments section for roleplaying, by all means, go for it. It's unorthodox, but so long as everyone consents to it, why not? XD I mean there were days where my high school friends and I would make color coded Google Docs to roleplay together, we had some Sly Cooper level adventures that were so much fun. When you have friends or mutuals, reach out to them directly to ask if they'd be into it. I remember briefly playing around on a website called Chatzy for private chat rooms. I can't vouch for how it is now, but maybe that would be up your alley.
If you want more than text, then there's always a good drawing roleplay. Maybe you open up a Magma canvas and open it up to some friends or the public, and you doodle out some scenarios of your characters together. Maybe you find an online multiplayer game where you can goof around together. I can't say I know enough about VR chat to recommend it, but I'm told it's good to go in with a group of people you already know for that (and to be cautious about spicy stuff). Heck, you could probably do stuff like this in stuff like Minecraft if you wanted.
I know it can be scary to reach out to someone about this stuff, but I promise you, it's worth it. Be kind, be polite, and remember, the worst thing they can say is no. And it's okay to say no, that's not the end of the world. One door closed means another door is open somewhere else. Just remember, the person on the other side of the screen is in fact a person. They have a life outside of their phone that has them doing all sorts of things, and sometimes roleplays will be slow because of that. I know it's hard to wait, but waiting is worth it to have fun with someone whose company you enjoy.
If you're still anxious about being with real people, there's always playing life simulation games like The Sims. Most of the time, the base game is free for Sims 4, and there's so many mods you can download without ever needing to use Expansion packs. And on stuff like the Gallery, you can find lots of Sims of your favorite characters made by others, and you can tweak them to your liking. I personally love designing OCs and characters from my favorite media in games like this to play out their lives, romances, etc.
If you like text based games and want to imagine a character, a lot of my friends have been enjoying Fallen London recently. There's a lot of imagination and character creation you can do within the different scenarios they give you, and seeing all of their OCs from this has been a treat. There's also a messaging system there (that I keep neglecting to use, I'm so sorry guys) for a little bit of roleplay adjacent communicating between characters from real people, but it's not required. I'm sure there are other things like it out there that fit this niche, this is just the one I know of.
There are many ways to fill the part of your heart that loves roleplaying, and I promise you, it's worth it to take the time to try them. You will become a better writer and get better at socializing the more you exercise those skills, and ultimately, you'll find your people. And it's going to be so much fun! Just remember, be kind, get consent, and talk things out if you're unsure of where the boundaries are. It's gonna be okay, you've got this, you are gonna find something that works for you. I believe in you!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go take my own advice and try to be less scared of roleplaying with some cool people I know. XD Because boy did I need a reminder that it's not so bad, and things are gonna be okay.
reminder that being against ai also means being against character.ai and not using character.ai and not interacting with character.ai
i've never talked to chatgpt i've never talked to character.ai i have no interest in talking to a chatbot even if it's fun or based on my comfort character. if we want companies to stop using ai we need to tell them we aren't going to interact with it - so don't.
don't talk to robots. full stop.

WHEN: Saturday, July 4th. WHERE: Rooftop of the Astor Hotel (Neutral) TIME: 7:30 PM DRESS CODE: Swimwear OOC DATE AND TIME: July 3rd, 7:00 PM CST.
Chicago is kicking off the summer with an epic pool party to celebrate the 4th of July. All are welcome, though space is somewhat limited -- so make sure to RSVP as soon as possible to save your spot! The event will take place on the iconic rooftop of Astor Hotel and its three pools. Surrounded by a beautiful garden area and the perfect view of Chicago, the Astor 4th of July Party isn’t something that you want to miss!
There will be grilled food, plenty of liquor, and a DJ for entertainment. After sunset, there will be a firework show visible from the roof top. Since Astor Hotel has an amazing view of Lake Michigan, most people wander over to the beach after the party.
A/N: Roleplaying for this event will begin on Friday July 3rd! Events here can take a little longer to wrap up, so I wanted to give us a few days head start! This will be a dash event, but if you and your writing partner(s) feel the need to zoom through a few things via Chatzy/Discord, that’s perfectly fine! Since the focus will be on the dash, I strongly recommend that any current threads are wrapped up by July 3rd or placed on hold for the first few days of the event.
While I would like to have this take place via Chatzy, it’s a little hard since some of us have multiple characters. The dash makes it easier to manage. Because of this, I ask you all to try and treat this event like a Chatzy. Try to stay on top of replies the way you would in a Chatzy. Don’t be afraid to reach out to other players for plotting, writing, etc. If you have any questions, let me know!

𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐔𝐍

NAME : Makenzie / Mak / Kai / Makai
PRONOUNS : She/her/they/them but I really don't mind any!
PREFERENCE OF COMMUNICATION : Oh discord always one hundred percent, I always forget and am very bad about tumblr dms lmao
MOST ACTIVE MUSE : Absolutely Chief right now and in the foreseeable future!! I do have other blogs I hop around on depending on how I'm feeling but I always have Chief's blog open, I care her so much especially considering I started musing her like a day after PTN came out-
EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS : Tumblr rp wise, I've started around the latter half of 2016? I think it was October? But as of actual writing and roleplaying, I've done so for a little earlier like on fb / chatzy / deviantart and wow..... wild looking back on it :))) (save me from these memories)
BEST EXPERIENCE : I'm gonna be so cheesy and saying picking up Chief in the first place. It's absolutely insane how fast and how hard she found her way into my heart, I just adore this character so fucking much that starting writing her has to be up there for my best experience I'M SORRY IT FEELS LIKE A COP OUT BUT ITS TRUE. Top three favorite muses for sure.
RP PET PEEVE : See, this so hard for me to answer because examples leave my head so quickly aaaa maybe like. This has nothing to do with actual like plotting or characters or writing but when people. can't like. talk it out or complain about everything all the time? So many issues can be resolved between people just by talking or if you can't come to an agreement, just be civil and leave on respected terms. I dunno thats just one its probably not the biggest but its what my mind gave me!
PLOTS OR MEMES : I will try both always I always adore doing both but I definitely do lean towards memes. Memes give free reign and they can be so silly or so angsty or anything! Also I feel like I'm a bad plotter and I don't wanna let anyone dow-*shot*
LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : I do fancy the occasional short reply but that really only goes for crack purposes or just being silly! Whether I like it or not, I always end up writing a shit ton because there's just. There's so much to say!!! I have to get these thoughts and my muse's thoughts out of my head and you will deal with them!
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES : I definitely don't have Chief's uhhhh chutzpah. But I feel like we both can be pretty damn stubborn lmao and I try and do the 'right thing' but that might not always work out, we're both pretty stupid but I like to think I always try like her!!! Also. Silly little guys :)

KNOWING YOUR PARTNER WELL CAN POTENTIALLY MAKE WRITING TOGETHER A LOT EASIER.
tagged by: @swerte , thank you !!!!
tagging: oh jeez who hasn't done this already i'm so slow to jumping on trends SDFGFDS obvi @wonderloste , @galaxiasus , @zorkaya , @hakureimaiden , @strywoven , @jardinae , @lovelornes, @lambfated , @bondedtrauma, @tvrningout, and @hymnblood perhaps ?? if y'all would like to !
Name: orion / michael ! i'm fine either or, i typically tend towards orion though overall since i feel it's more unique.
Pronouns: he/him or they/them !
Preference of communication: honestly i am ... so slow either way SDFGFD which is entirely my fault, i'm so anxious Always ... but replies on posts, inbox, then things like discord !! i am Not good at consistent communication
Name of muse(s): i have 40 muses are you sure you want to mess with that rn-- SDFGHGFDS silas is my main muse though, in case my recent posts haven't proven enough of that <3 i do have a fondness for the rest of my equally variably grey muses though
Experience/how long (months/years?): 12 years! granted, only started really serious longform rp in like ... 2015/2016 or so.
Platforms you’ve used: devArt, chatzy, whatever the h/mestuck equivalent was (msparp? and the omegle ripoff?), e-mail, facebook, twitter, and tumblr! i feel ... ancient.
Pet peeves / dealbreakers: my BIGGEST dealbreaker honestly at the moment is just. being a proshipper LMAO. fucking freaks. but aside from that being the obvious things like being unsympathetic to my low activity which ... while i know it can be frustrating, i try to make it abundantly clear without going into insane amount of personal detail about my (many) medical issues impeding my activity, haha. i do want to be more active! nagging at me to be when i'm not physically or mentally able to maintain it isn't going to convince me.
Fluff, angst, or smut: sighs. look at my threads lately and tell me if there's one i won't write. i don't really do smut threads often because i have to really know someone to feel comfortable with it, but i'm fine writing either of the three! probably fluff or angst more than others, but i can usually interweave fluff into otherwise suggestive content fine, i'm biased towards emotional things.
Plots or memes: both, but memes are easier!
long or short replies: both, technically, but i have this Thing where i simply cannot shut up so all of my replies end up long anyway DFGHFD
Best time to write: :woozy: ... i don't really have a "best time" par se, but probably late afternoon-early evening !
Are you like your muse(s): absolutely not absolutely n- if any of my group chat tries drawing comparisons i'm blocking y'all on sight /j

get to know the author!
name: dani
pronouns: she/her
preference of communication: i use both tumblr ims and discord. i prefer discord for plotting and ooc chat because tumblr im delays in loading messages, but i’m fine with either.
most active muse: varies depending on whatever i’m hyperfixating on. at the moment, it’s definitely cameron, although maggie has been active on and off since 2018 despite me not watching d/ark sh/adows for years.
experience / how many years: i’ve been on this hell site since 2012 more or less consistently, with occasional breaks of a few months to a few years. before tumblr, i wrote mostly on youtube of all places, and in my friends’ chatzy rooms.
platforms you use: for rp, just tumblr. i’ve written on discord a few times in the past, but i prefer to use it for ooc communication.
best experience: it’s really hard to say! i suppose overall i’ve had the best experience writing in the star wars fandom a few years back. i had an oc in 2016 and a canon muse in 2019, and everyone was really friendly and welcoming to them both <3 i also had a great clique of friends when i wrote carrie white 10 years ago (that being a full decade ago kills me lmao). more recently, with maggie i’ve gotten to write with so many interesting muses and fantastic writers over the past couple years! many of whom i still write with today <3
rp pet peeves: people who constantly post their drama on the dash. i really don’t care what it is, unless it’s a call out of a legitimately dangerous person (not just someone you personally dislike or disagree with) i don’t want to see it.
fluff, angst, or smut: angst all the way, although i’m not opposed to writing fluff! as for smut, i’m not very experienced with writing it. i feel awkward writing the extra explicit stuff, so you’re probably not gonna see much of that on this blog.
plots or memes: it depends on my mood and our muses tbh. sometimes plotting is necessary for crossovers, but i like that memes allow for muse dynamics to grow organically. there are benefits to both!
long or short replies: i tend toward 2-4 paragraphs for most replies, but i can do longer, it’ll just take me longer to write. i don’t have as many short threads (and they tend to eventually become long lol) but i do like having a few going at any given time. sometimes i get overwhelmed by the longer drafts, and short replies are just what i need to kick a muse into gear.
best time to write: whenever i’m putting off something important that i need to do, or when i’m bored at work, or when i need to sleep 😅 my executive functioning is trash and if i sit down to write in my free time, i can’t always focus how i’d like to. i end up writing most replies in bits and pieces over the course of a few weeks in 5 minute increments.
are you like your muse(s): i don’t think so? not really for my canon muses. i tend to pick muses with interesting lives and backstories and powers….all stuff that i don’t have 🥲 my ocs have a lot more pieces of myself in them, but i haven’t written most of them here.

GET TO KNOW THE MUN.
NAME. samuel / sam / sammy.
PRONOUNS. he / him.
PREFERENCE OF COMMUNICATION. tumblr im. if we're friends, i'm happy to give out my discord, which is the best way to reach me, like, in general. because i work on top of doing a masters, i can be spotty with replying. be patient and don't assume i'm ignoring you; give me a nudge if something is important.
MOST ACTIVE MUSE. michael by a long shot, though i'm actually not super active on tumblr. i'm trying to get back into writing, but i fade in and out. sometimes i pop over to other blogs, but i usually try to focus on one character at a time.
EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS. we're hitting about twelve, thirteen years now of writing online. i did private forum roleplay, dA, chatzy, formspring, then moved here. i also write pretty often on discord, and have dabbled in wire. in terms of fiction writing, i stick mostly to historical fiction and horror. i've done a little zine writing as well. i used to write fanfiction, but not anymore.
BEST EXPERIENCE. meeting new people overall. i come to tumblr to make friends. all spaces have their ups and downs, but i think i can safely say i most enjoyed writing in the fromsoftware community.
RP PET PEEVE. assuming things about my character, and downplaying the fear-factor / effectiveness of villains. i know some characters are laid back or cope with humor -- mike is one of those characters. but at the same time, having your character take the l can keep the story flowing in an interesting, organic way. i write a lot of villains and characters who 'just know' in a sort of general way that they're evil ( unless they're, like, obviously nasty, i.e. the way i write william ) as opposed to, like, disliking something specific or couching it in their own perspective, really kill my vibe. i do understand overcoming the villain as catharsis and that's something i try to provide, but my opinion is that the catharsis isn't worth much if you don't have buildup. i've written major villains for... so many years... in so many communities... and the best threads are always the ones where they're allowed to be effective and damaging before they're taken down.
PLOTS OR MEMES. both! if i don't have an idea for a plot i will go straight to the person and hash something out, and sometimes i do wanna sit around and plan something, but i also like winging it!
LONG OR SHORT REPLIES. makes no difference to me. write exactly as much as you need / want to. my reply length over the course of a thread can vary drastically, depending on what's happening, and that's natural to me.
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES. some of them, in different ways! for mike specifically, i will say that i like 80s media, have worked customer service, enjoy animatronics, and have experience with abuse. i will not say more than that and only mention it because i've sometimes had people ask me how / why i write mike the way i do, and question how realistic some of the scenarios i lay out are, to which i answer -- they happen, these are not unfounded dynamics or emotions, but i'll never go into detail 'justifying' what i write. we are also both very big and strong :]
TAGGED BY. @gateway31 / TAGGING. i'm really really really bad at tagging people so you're going to have to grab this and say it was from me.

Who was your first muse? Favourite thing about roleplaying? Least favourite thing about roleplaying? What are some similarities between you and your muse/muses? Would you be friends with your muse if they were real?
Who was your first muse? Overall, it was Bella Swan in chatzy rooms lmfao. Then she was always taken so Leah Clearwater became my main girlie. I've kept her more or less since then. My first tumblr indie character was an oc hunter with a Lyndsey Fonseca fc. Her name was Maddie something I honestly don't remember, but I've been thinking about her a lot lately!
Favourite thing about roleplaying? I really have enjoyed world building a whole lot. I love seeing people take original characters and build them up so beautifully or very minimally developed canon characters and make them something of their own. Everyone even has a unique take on certain aspects of very canon characters and it's just nice to see different perspectives... Making them their own with further development or dismisal of things in canon that they don't agree with.
Least favourite thing about roleplaying? Probably my own damn nerves. I'm trying to get to a spot where I feel more confident in putting myself back out there but I have held an inferiority complex for a long time and I worry too much about being annoying or people not agreeing with how I write my characters. I keep taking on more muses on my other blogs and I worry a lot about their dialogue running together. I honestly just really need to work on writing with people that want to write with me and not caring about the rest? Not getting as easily discouraged or feeling left out of things.
What are some similarities between you and your muse/muses? I have so many muses at this point and I relate to a lot of them in different ways but overarchingly a lot of them are stubborn like me and have a kind heart, which I have been told that I do and like to think that I do. Jess and I are specifically pretty different, especially before her death where she's all around extroverted and bubbly. But her temper can be pretty relatable 💀 And I can relate to her sarcasm and teasing streaks.
Would you be friends with your muse if they were real? Please!! Absolutely. I would fall to my knees for Jess. She's just one of those people that you can always count on to brighten your day. I admire a few people with her personality in my real life. Outwardly so friendly and inclusive but not afraid to stand up for herself or others and generally doesn't give a damn about what others think.

KNOWING YOUR PARTNER WELL CAN POTENTIALLY MAKE WRITING TOGETHER A LOT EASIER. ( REPOST DO NOT REBLOG ! )
✿ NAME: Dani, Meme Mother, little shit (lovingly)
✿ PRONOUNS: she/her
✿ PREFERENCE OF COMMUNICATION: Discord, mainly if we’re mutuals but I can do Tumblr IMs too.
✿ NAME OF MUSE(S): Jayden Garner, Rin Fujimori, Kassandra (KC) Griffin, Makoto Nijima, Chie Satonaka, Naoto Shirogane, Akira Kurusu, Sae Nijima, Kasumi Yoshizawa, Takuto Maruki, Zenkichi Hasegawa, Vivi Kimoto, Mystery the Dog, and there’s a BUNCH of Discord only muses I write as well! More are definitely gonna get added too ^^’
✿ EXPERIENCE/HOW LONG (MONTHS / YEARS?): It’s definitely 10 years now. 2012 was the start of it and here we are about to go into 2023.
✿ PLATFORMS YOU’VE USED: ....the start of it all was on the official Yugioh Abridged website using RP forums. Then there’s Skype, Tumblr, Chatzy (only a few times), and Discord.
✿ BEST EXPERIENCE: I’ve met some lifelong friends because of roleplaying. Mystery Skulls Animated was really what kickstarted my friendship with the lot of online friends I still keep in contact with now. Some of us have even met up IRL because we live close by, but I’m making it a goal of mine to see ALL of them in person at least once.
✿ RP PET PEEVES/DEALBREAKERS: The basics here: being respectful to me especially in the stuff I won’t write. It’s a two way street and communication between partners is key, so if you’re disrespecting my comfort levels or even ragging on me about my interpretations of characters, you’re getting the boot.
Since most of the characters I write are female-oriented, I don’t want them to purely be used as shipping fodder. They have personalities, they have interesting character traits, and I wish to explore those or make them grow as their own person. So me as the mun, and my muses wish to be treated right just like any other character.
✿ FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT: GOD I’M SUCH A DAMN ANGST MACHINE!! You don’t know how much I love putting muses through difficult situations, testing their morals and beliefs, making them wavering in their personal choices, and just seeing what their breaking point is. I’m always down to write up some good angst. I’ve been yelled at MANY TIMES by several friends for the crushing feelings I give them or when I make them cry over a response. It FUELS ME!!
But in turn, I also LOVE LOVE LOVE me some good fluff. Hurt-comfort is another “good shit” kind of scenario too. I love fluffy cuddles, whether it’s romantic or platonic, I love writing cozy vibes and warm hugs when a muse is feeling down. It’s such a good feeling, and it sometimes makes me cry as well.
As for smut? Yeeeeeah, no thanks. That’s not my thing nor will I ever try to write it again. I made an effort on it once a few years ago but I absolutely hated how I wrote it. It didn’t feel like I was channeling my muse, and it didn’t even feel like it was quality writing too. It was upsetting and completely out of character. On top of that, I’m just uncomfortable with it all together. I rather not try to picture my muses in such scenarios.
So fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, and all the above are good in my book!
✿ PLOTS OR MEMES: I’m always down for both, but I find I get more motivation and put forth more energy into answering memes or improved asks. I like that uncertainty of a situation, and I adore brainstorming an idea of how my character can respond to the scenario. It feels a little more real, in my opinion, and I feel it flows a lot more naturally when you and your muse are presented with a situation unexpectedly.
I can plot things out though! If it’s stuff involving a story-line, blog progression, or something that could be a little more on the darker side (torture, injury, stuff like that), then I’d rather plan it out. This way both muns can understand the consequences of the actions taken, whether they’ll be permanent to the character or not, and just so we’re all comfortable with the direction we want to take the thread. This ALSO applies to crossover stuff too, although I am game to be randomly thrown into a universe and let my muse learn what’s going on along the way. Because I’ll be learning new things too!
✿ LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: Oh I do both ways! Some days I can write novel long, four paragraph length replies if I’m REALLY channeling the character, and some days I can write a few sentences or a paragraph.
One liners and such are more for quick interactions, or crack shenanigans. But either way, I just go with the flow of what my muse wants!
✿ BEST TIME TO WRITE: It’s always ALWAYS been at night. I get hit with inspiration a lot more once the sun is down, or I get home from work and need to unwind.
✿ ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): In MANY MANY WAYS, YES!! In other ways not so much. I don’t think I have an other self sleeping or lying dorment somewhere in my soul. Though it WOULD be cool if it happened to me one day.
....or maybe not. But in any case, there are similarities I see in my muses.

KNOWING YOUR PARTNER WELL CAN POTENTIALLY MAKE WRITING TOGETHER A LOT EASIER. ( REPOST DO NOT REBLOG ! )
NAME: Cas-Mun
PRONOUNS: She/Her or They/Them
PREFERENCE OF COMMUNICATION: I tend to prefer Discord.
NAME OF MUSE(S): Yugi Muto (I also run a YGO multi with many muses, as well as several OC blogs as well, too many muses to list!)
EXPERIENCE/HOW LONG (MONTHS / YEARS?): Roughly 6 years I think?
PLATFORMS YOU’VE USED: Tumblr, Discord, Chatzy.
BEST EXPERIENCE: Honestly, when I get to make some amazing friends in the rp community and being able to watch the bonds between our muses grow!
RP PET PEEVES/DEALBREAKERS: Don’t pretend you’re super excited to rp with me and then ghost me for no reason. It’s honestly confusing and really makes me feel like maybe I’m not good enough. Also, if you try to bring me into your OOC drama towards other rpers, I will block you on the spot.
FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT: Honestly....I LOVE both Fluff and Angst the most. Hurt/Comfort threads are absolutely wonderful and they’re great for character development. Smut is okay, but it’s not my favorite.
PLOTS OR MEMES: Honestly I love memes and prefer to wing it when doing threads, unless my rp partner has an idea in mind, in which case I love plotting things out and seeing where they go!
LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: I personally tend to prefer longer replies mainly because I tend to put a lot of detail in my writing, but I don’t mind short replies as long as they aren’t constant one-liners.
BEST TIME TO WRITE: I am usually on most during the evenings after work, or earlier in the morning, but it depends on how tired I am due to my job since I work full-time and also care for two horses, one of which is currently pregnant and close to foaling.
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): In some ways yes, and others not so much. Like Yugi, I tend to be quiet, timid and socially awkward, but loyal to a fault when it comes to my friends, loved ones and family. Unlike Yugi, I get very easily distracted and my entire life revolves around my horses, so I don’t really have a very active social life or close friends like he does.

TEN Q’S
1. When are you usually online?
My activity is sporadic. If I even make it online depends on the weather, my plans or if anything comes up, if my family needs me to handle stuff, if I woke up with neck pain or a headache, and if I’m not so tired that I just decide to mess with video games instead. Doesn’t help that my sleep schedule is also all over the place, but when I’m basically the living alarm clock for my whole family, it can’t be helped much
2. What verses are you involved in outside of this page?
Pokemon is the big one. My Pokemon blog, Cxlxssal, was originally a self-insert I made back when I was 14 that turned full-blown OC through character development. It’s also my oldest active blog, having officially been around for seven years as of May. Other than that, there aren’t any others in different verses that I still operate.
3. What is your biggest RP pet peeve?
It’s mostly the usual pet peeves that most people have, but blogs that put aesthetics over legibility are ones I loathe. Having to strain my eyes just to read something as basic as the rules quickly drains any enthusiasm I may have to write with them. Seventeen spaces between every word, small font on a vivid neon background, mixing colors and font colors in such a way that it physically hurts the eyes to read; the list goes on. I rarely, if ever, follow those people.
Second to that are overpowered muses with no weaknesses or rivals. Got tired of that shit after my stay in the Naruto fandom, and it’s one of the many reasons why I left the RWBY fandom.
4. Are you drawn to specific types of muses?
No, I’m not drawn to specific types of muses. A muse could be an interpretation of the Black Huntsman from Der Freischütz, it could be Goku, or it could be a painfully average man like Connecticut Clark. It doesn’t matter to me, I’ll love ‘em all if they’re well-written.
5. Are there recurring themes in your writing that people might not notice?
If there are, not even I might notice them. Because I usually don’t recognize that kind of thing until way further down the line.
6. What are your favorite RP trends?
I’ve been on Tumblr long enough to watch it go from borderline shitpost-y three sentence roleplay into novella written like an old gothic horror novel. Having me name one favorite would make me drudge up almost a decade of experiences. Mostly due to the fact that I... don’t remember most of them. My favorite trend were the days of anons bombarding inboxes with questions and interacting with muses. For a long time, I found those more fun than most actual threads.
7. What is your process for starting a new story with someone?
Generally, I just come up with a few ideas for what muses of mine might work best with theirs in terms of interaction. I would work around their interpretation of the character, then offer a muse or multiple muses and throw out ideas that try to subvert typical introductions. If they can’t read my muse pages, I’ll summarize the muse as briefly as I can... even if it often comes out poorly.
Here’s an example. Let’s say that Fillin Theblank plays someone like Tohru from Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid. I would reread their info on her, then suggest something like this; after the apartment building suffers from a sudden power outage, Tohru looks into the cause, finding Kouki after he fried the electrical system from trying to drain too much power at once. If Fillin didn’t know who Kouki is, I would explain that he’s basically an energy-based kaiju in the form of a small outlandish child.
8. How do you feel about duplicates?
Duplicates are great! I mean, more varied and unique interpretations of a well-known canon character, each with their own distinct way of interacting with others? Hell yeah dude, hit me with that!
9. How long have you been involved in roleplaying?
I’ve been roleplaying since 2011/2012, originally starting on Chatzy. After several RP servers I was in died off, I moved here and made a Naruto OC blog... which is hilarious in hindsight, since I never actually watched Naruto. Or read the manga. I mostly went off the wiki and what I learned from a friend.
Oldest blog of mine you can stiff find dates back to 2014, though it’s from my days on mobile and before I learned how to make decent-looking blogs.
10. Is there a muse or verse you wish you could write in, but haven’t?
Verse-wise? It’s specific to certain muses, such as the white dwarf star of lore that is the Fate franchise and a series like KanColle for Claudius due to his obsession with history/mythology, or Girls Frontline for Tino due to his shtick being tech and weapons. However, me adding more verses is a rarity.
Muse-wise? Lemme tell you, having ADHD is a bitch because every single time I find a show or game I get invested in, I spend over a week trying to purge the idea of adding one of the characters to my blog. Last month, it was Soma Cruz or Julius Belmont from Aria of Sorrow. Before that, it was Kat from Gravity Rush, the Necromancer from Castle Crashers prior to that, and my take on the main character from the MMOJRPG Onigiri. Hell, I’ve even thought about bringing back Algol from Soul Calibur IV as a muse recently.

preference of communication. I prefer Discord, but if you prefer Tumblr IMs I’m ok with that! I’m happy to give out my Discord to whoever requests it!
name of muse(s). Gen, Saltriv, Burhalla, Nisaqui, Arctozolt, Coleane, HTML, Cedar, Thievul, Sad Snom, Delino, Ta Writeer, MonDegreen, Tapestry, Lidequir, Acacia, Apoyime, Pahelia, Gen, Vernir, Ayueg, and Leviene, at least for my tumblr muses.
rp experience / how long. I’ve been RPing since August of 2014! I’ve RPed across many sites since then. FFN forums, Warrior cats forums, chatzy, Discord, Thousandroads forums, and most recently, tumblr. I’ve only been RPing on tumblr for about two thirds of a year now, and only started doing RPC-style RPing about two weeks ago, but I look forward to doing more!
best experience. Best experience I have RPing is in my own server, though tumblr is great too! My top three formats for RPing are Discord, Thousandroads forums, and tumblr.
rp pet peeves / deal breakers. Godmoding and all that stuff, but I also rarely can deal with post-apocalypse or grimdark stuff. I also don’t really like it when people try to force headcanons on my worlds, such as my PMD world being post-apocalypse. I also don’t really like to do shipping. I’m good with most other stuff, though!
fluff, angst, or smut. I thrive on fluff, and can usually do angst just fine! Absolutely no smut, though.
long or short replies. Depends on the platform. On discord, I tend to do short replies, on Thousandroads and tumblr, I try to do longer. I’ll try my best to match reply length, but sometimes I can’t go all the way, or am feeling inspired and write way too much.
best time to write. Depends. Usually tends to be late morning to early afternoon for me, but sometimes I’m feeling inspired in the early morning, late afternoon, or evening.
are you like your muse(s). Honestly, there’s a little bit of me in most of my muses. Gen has my anxiety, Coleane has my hyperempathy, and so on.

𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐔𝐍
— 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐂𝐒
(𝐏𝐄𝐍)𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐄: lucifer. i also answer to lu and "OH GOD WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" and The King of Angst. 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐒: he / him. 𝐙𝐎𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐂: pisces. 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐄 / 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐍: single as can be and ready to mingle for free. ( you just have to accept that cas will be part of my life. it's like the whole 'if you love me then you have to love x too'. )
— 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐒
𝐢. i’ve been writing since i could hold a pencil and knew how to string words together; basically ... oh, since the first grade? yeah. i've got over 30 years of writing to my name. i hope it shows, lmfao.
𝐢𝐢. i genuinely struggled with writing aizen how i wanted for a very long time. i tried out many different headcanons and ways of depicting him and was never satisfied until only the last couple years. i very nearly gave up on writing him, actually, and if it hadn't been for cas and his helping me yell and scream about aizen on a regular basis, i don't know if i would have gotten here. but man oh man, i'm so damn happy of how far i've come with him. he's mine. kubo signed the adoption papers over to me.
𝐢𝐢𝐢. i'm always going to write villains, i think. i take great pride in giving villains a very humanizing quality while maintaining how dangerous and terrible they are. am i an apologist? yeah, sometimes. but i also very much recognize that they're villains and i'm not going to take that from the characters that i write. i want you to empathize with my muses, to sympathize with them, to make you hug them --- and i want you to be ready to kill them if it comes down to it too.
— 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄
oh man, when it comes to roleplay, my experience is pretty damn varied, lmfao. i've tried out everything that could be named as a roleplay venue. i do remember i started off writing ( very fucking cringe ) fic and editing fics that i had loved when i was much much much younger and then i found roleplay forums when i was, oh ... 13 or 14. but that wasn't all i tried. i did forums, i've done chatroom roleplays, i even had an actual pen and paper roleplay notebook i traded back and forth with a friend in high school. AOL, Chatzy, YIM --- i did plenty of chatrooms. and there's roleplay sites besides tumblr that i've been on.
i actually got pulled to tumblr by someone on a now fairly dead ( apart from a hardcore crowd of lingering patrons ) chat roleplay site and while i have no idea of where that friend's gone off to, they got me into tumblr at around, oh ... late 2010, if i remember the date correctly. i stopped using tumblr for a month or two, then i came back to it and i've been well ensconsced in tumblr since then. i've been on another roleplay site since 2009 and as such, my experience with roleplay is pretty extensive. i even tried roleplay on MySpace and Facebook and even Twitter of all places. yeah. i also roleplay through google docs and on Discord so there's plenty for me to say i'm familiar with.
so i definitely have plenty of experience when it comes to writing. lmfao.
— 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄
V I L L A I N S.
yes, my muses have always always always been villains. i actually started writing canon muses via sephiroth over ten years ago ( i've been writing sephiroth nearly 15 years, actuall ) and from there the road has led me to acquiring villains left and right. i genuinely don't tend to write protagonists very often, or if i do? they're usually very morally gray.
i think the most 'good' characters that i write are orihime, haruno sakura ( though my muse for her is super dusty. i miss writing sakura. she was always ready to put naruto and sasuke into headlocks to smack their skulls together to hear the sound of solid bone meeting solid bone. ), and my warrior of light. and my wol is kind of -- becoming more morally gray herself, given ALL of fucking 6.0 and what happened in there ( venat, turn on your location, I JUST WANT TO TALK. ) and what she found out. legit, xel is feral and she deserves to be feral, especially given that she really wants to bite her love interest whether or not he's dead. she'll do it. trust me, she'll do it.
villains just make my brain vibe far more than not, truthfully. making people see my muses as people is my jam. i think the best damn compliment i can receive ( and i've gotten it more than once in my time ) is being told that i've made someone rethink their stance on a character and they like him because of me. because tbh most of my muse stable is villainous men. so yeah. i'm definitely always likely to be writing awful terrible men and i thrill in writing those awful terrible men and making people cry over them.
— 𝐒𝐔𝐁-𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐑𝐄𝐒
𝐅𝐋𝐔𝐅𝐅: fluff isn't something i write in public too often with aizen but god yes. i can't do angst all the time but i fucking love fluff so much.
𝐒𝐌𝐔𝐓: OF COURSE??? i'm wildly fond of smut. smut is glorious. it's about the intimacy and the trust and the horny brain.
𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐒𝐓: i collect tears of those i hurt with the angst i write and i drink them. :) that should tell you all that you need to know.
— 𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐒 𝐯𝐬. 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐒
i'm good with either, honestly! i don't mind sketching in some skeleton of a plot, maybe feeding it an anemic bit of substance to figure out the direction, and taking off from there. but i've alsy had very compelling storylines come out of sending in memes or being sent a meme so they're both very good options. i'm happy with a pre-brainstormed plot or a random thing which comes out of a meme. they're both very good in my opinion, i think. why bother limiting myself in any fashion, i say.

ROLEPLAYER.QUESTIONNAIRE
THE.MUN
How long have you been roleplaying?. Ten, fifteen years. I can’t remember when I started, exactly, but it’s been at least a decade.
What platforms have you played on?. LifeJournal, AIM, Skype, Discord, Tumblr, and chatzy, I think it was called? That’s all I can remember, at least.
Do you make other fanworks, or just roleplay?. I used to write fic; it’s been awhile since I’ve written straight fic, but I like making edits and graphics, icons, etc. when the mood strikes.
Do you prefer canon, divergent or au?. Canon is fun, but limiting in some ways. Divergent and AU allows for a lot more "what if" situations to take place.
How many languages do you write in?. I’m an American; all I know is English ;) (I do wish I connected better with the foreign language classes in school, because I’d love to be fluent enough to write in another, though...)
Where you do you get your inspiration?. Anywhere and everywhere, to be honest.
Do you write with music?. Sometimes; if I do, it’s gotta be instrumental (film scores, classic piano/jazz pieces, etc.) Lyrics make me wanna sing along and I can’t do that while I’m trying to write.
THE.MUSES
How many characters do you write?. Currently? There’s Sasha here, then Billy Russo on another blog, Lucifer on another, and a few lit muses on a multi from fantasy-ish books. I used to have another multi where I wrote several other characters, and an OC multi for a couple of my own creations, but they kinda... died.
Who was your first rp muse?. The first one I can really remember writing in great detail was canon-centric Lucifer in SPN. (My Luci has since long developed past canon things of course; he’s mine now.)
Who is your most recent muse?. Most recently created? Probably either Billy or one of muses on the lit multi. Most recently written was Sasha here.
Which three (3) OCs do you wish got more attention?. I wish my OC blog had gotten more focus. Then I might have kept it going, but the girls never got much attention and it was harder to develop them without that interaction. -shrug-
Which three (3) canons do you wish got more attention?. Rhysand and Lucifer and maybe... Feyre? Or Elain? IDK, probably some on the lit multi.
What song always reminds you of a character? Which one?. I’ve never really connected song-to-character that way. Sorry.
Do you have character playlists?. I used to make some when I was in the SPN and the OUAT fandom; I don’t anymore and it’s been a LONG time since I made one.
Do you have characters you used to write, but don’t anymore?. Oh definitely. Lucifer’s changed drastically, and there was a time I went without writing him (when I started playing with Sasha and Billy and all the Ben Barnes effects ;) ) but um... I wrote Killian Jones and Emma Swan for a while, while OUAT aired. I wrote Regina Mills, I’ve written Loki AND Thor at different times, and I know there’s others, but that’s what I’m remembering right now.
Any you’d love to bring out of retirement?. Maybe my OCs... one day.
Characters you love, but could never write?. I love LOTR, but I don’t feel like I could ever write any of them. Even if I wanted to. That’s probably the main one.
THE.SHIPS
Do you like shipping?. Definitely!
Single or multiship?. Multiship. I mean, I have faves, but definitely multiship on my blogs now.
What was your first ship?. Oh god, I don’t remember. Some of the earlier ones were Michifer (Michael and Lucifer) or Samifer (Lucifer and Sam); I liked the angst and drama and how messed up it all was, sue me. Sirius/Remus was a big one too. Hermione/Draco had an appeal to me too, when I was younger.
Which ship have you always wanted to try writing?. I don’t know, to be honest. I think most of the ships I’ve wanted to write, I find a way to do so? I mean, if I can’t RP it, I’ll write a short ficlet or something. -shrug-
Are there any popular ships you love?. Right now? Or in general? Because right now, Darklina takes the top. I’m also fond of Darkling/Zoya and Darkling/Nikolai. For reasons. General speaking, I’ve never really kept up with the popularity of a ship, so I don’t know for certain, but I loved Captain Swan for the longest time.
Ones you hate?. It wasn’t so much the SHIP, but the fandom that made it unbearable, but Swan Queen was one that for the longest time I couldn’t STAND. I don’t mind it so much now that I’m not deep in the fandom anymore. Funnily enough.
Any guilty pleasure ships?. I’m sure some of them are, but like, I don’t care? It’s a ship and let ship zone here. And if it’s something I don’t like, I just *gasp* ignore it!
Do you ship anything ‘problematic’?. Oh gosh yes. In one way or another, there are many. But like, I LIKE that aspect of them? Does that make sense? If it was all perfect and fluffy, I’d be damn bored REALLY quickly. I like exploring the mess and problems.
Do you have any ships you miss?. I don’t think so. I’ve had some Lusander (Darkling/Luda) that aren’t around anymore... I had some awesome ships with Lucifer too that aren’t around anymore.
Do you prefer common or rare pairs?. I don’t really mind one way or the other. As long as I can see the chemistry, it’s being shipped ;)
THE.FANDOMS
How many fandoms have you written in?. Hmm... Off the top of my head I can think of Harry Potter, Supernatural, Once Upon a Time, The Vampire Diaries/The Originals/Legacies, Grishaverse, ACOTAR series, Netflix/Disney+ The Punisher...
What was the first fandom you wrote in?. I think it was Harry Potter. I’m pretty sure it was HP.
What fandom do you wish more people knew? (And tell us a bit about it!). Um... I don’t really have an answer to this one.
Do you like crossovers?. If we can make it work, sure.
Which fandom have you always wanted to write in?. Shadowhunters. I liked the show well enough, and the books I HAVE read I’ve enjoyed, but I’ve got so many more to read and I just.. haven’t gotten to it yet?
Do you prefer animated, text, or real life media?. Not a huge animated fan, but otherwise, I really don’t care.
What is your favourite genre?. Fantasy. Easily fantasy. And angst. Romantic angst and drama!
Least favourite?. Fluffy romance all the time with now problems-- and comedy. I like a good snark, but that buddy/dumb comedy stuff--I can’t stand it.
What tropes do you love?. Enemies to Lovers is a good one. (Or a good Friends to Lovers to Enemies to Lovers heh). I’m sure there are others, but like... I can’t think of their names right now?
Which do you hate?. Childhood Friends to Lovers just... bores me? I don’t HATE it, but it doesn’t hold my interest like the sexual tension of other tropes.
Do you write in any dead fandoms?. I don’t think so, right now? I’m not sure.

What's a plot or arc you're itching to explore with your character?
Quite a few, actually! Mina’s at a crossroad with the way that her life could be going, right now, and, yes, there are a few things about her that are going to remain the same because that’s just who she is as a person, but there’s also a lot of new and interesting factors in her life that could really make or break her as a person. Allow me to explain without showing any of my cards for where this character will actually probably potentially go (like Mina, I too am the master of using words that end in -ly)
One plot that I’m just desperately itching to explore with Mina is her journey towards self-acceptance, if that’s even possible. We’re working on it. She’s a long way from where she was a year ago; she can admit that supernaturals are people, she can see herself as a person, and she’s realized that killing is Bad. That is to say that it’s nothing that she can see herself doing unless the circumstances are what she considers to be dire or rational. However, Mina still doesn’t accept herself. She still hates that she’s fae, she still wishes that she’d been born like her father. She hates the way she wavers back and forth, and she hates how indecisive she is, but she tries to bottle all of that up along with so much guilt, and I want to explore that. I think it’s good when characters are forced to face themselves, so accept themselves, even (or perhaps especially) the parts that they can’t stand. So there’s one plot arc: the Get Mina to Accept Herself Arc.
Another arc that I want to explore with her is not just her growing in the understanding that not all supernaturals are bad but also that not all humans are good. She’s been taught to protect humanity, even if they’re the scum of the other or try to kill her (an example of this would be a very early chatzy between her and Monty were he tries to gut her and she saves him from an ahuizotl, because that’s obviously what you do, right?). She needs to come to the conclusion that humans can be monsters, are regularly monsters, are far more monstrous as the “monsters” that she calls friends. Her concept of the word “monster” is pretty straightforward at this point. I think it would be cool for that to change. This is the Humans Can Be Monsters, Too, You Dumb Pool Shark plot arc.
And I will make this my final plot arc that I write down, though I have so many, but this is one that’s a personal treat for me, as a writer, with a character who often comes off as very awkward and polite and sweet. See, Mina is very, very dangerous. Not only is she a supernatural whose species is well known for drowning and eating people for shits and giggles, but she was trained and indoctrinated for most of her life to be a weapon. Yes, her heart is rarely in it; she doesn’t want to hurt people, even when doing so would have benefitted her own life, so she doesn’t. But she’s very much capable of it, maybe even more than she herself realizes. For example: her last fight with Alcher when she was just treating that shit as a game did not go well. For Alcher. Mina was having fun until she wasn’t. Even the times where Mina has gotten upset and gotten to the point where she’s been ready to fight, she’s always kept her cards closer to her chest, and she prefers defensive tactics. But Mina is a well-trained weapon with sharp teeth and sharp claws and a deceptively innocent looking disposition. I think the only person who knows just how dangerous Mina is, well, me, and I’m not giving that up just yet. This plot arc is, aptly, called Drowning is Inevitable in my head :----) The question is, though, who’s drowning, and why could it still be Mina?

get to know the mun ! repost, don’t reblog.
——— BASICS.
(PEN)NAME : mel
PRONOUNS : she / her
ZODIAC SIGN : satigarius
TAKEN OR SINGLE : very taken, many loves
——— THREE FACTS.
i have a headache right now (and most of the time yikes)
i really like singing. like a lot. talk music to me. i’m a nerd
i’m a scatter-brain who gets distracted a lot soz
——— EXPERIENCE.
i first started when i was around 18. Until then i didn’t really have a computer of my own and it was only when i was like 15 that a classmate told me about fanfic and roleplay (and i watched her write smut during class, like girl what? lol). I started in omegle back in 2012 or so, findind a few people to rp through email. Then I found a chatzy group and I made my first internet friendships there. A few of them were (a few still are) on tumblr and that’s how I started here - rping River. It’s been 8 years but honestly, I don’t know what I’d be without rp.
——— MUSE PREFERENCE.
honestly I like all of it. short and funny? give me. long and emotional and angsty? also give me. as i’ve grown older, i find some threads i just drop (rude i know!) but i don’t have the energy and time to write things that don’t spark joy. it’s the Marie Kondo of rping
——— FLUFF / ANGST / SMUT.
FLUFF : I like writing it, though it can be hard to not get stuck in one scene
ANGST : always. always always. angst is beautiful. the more, the better lol. make me and my characters suffer >:3c
SMUT : i write it sometimes, i’m definitely not against it. though i will rarely write it on tumblr bc i’m a shy bean that keeps it behind closed doors 😇
PLOT / MEMES : honestly i’m bad at keeping up with a plot. I try! I really do! but things never go as planned! (I planned out a bunch of drabbles and none of them turned out as i planned and i kinda hate it but they turned out good so?? profit) I do like plotting pre-established relationships and such. Makes for more interesting interactions haha but memes..... memes are beautiful. spam me with a bunch and then i’ll reply to half of them askfjskfj
