I don’t know if anyone else has ever noticed but Jack and Sally both are great representation of characters with Hyperactive ADHD Inattentive ADHD.

Jack very much displays signs of Hyperactive ADHD. From being impulsive to getting obsessed with something and forgetting everything else. Hyperactive ADHD tends to only affect people born male and gets most attention because they are usually extrovert and can’t sit still Jack has all of these.

Sally very much as well shows signs of Inattentive ADHD Sally gets lost in her thoughts and has a very hard time connecting with others. Inattentive ADHA tends to affect people born female. This type of ADHD is very much more internal where it can be more hard to diagnosed. Sally tends to keep to herself even when she’s in a group setting.

At the end though Jack and Sally find each other and love each other through and through.

“He said I don’t manage my ADHD that good, uh, I mean well. That’s ridiculous though! I manage it GREAT! I can see where the confusion comes in, because I am definitely more outwardly hyper than I was when I was sad and irritated and worried.

Executive Disorder and hyperactive Imagination Combined?

A static wave of electricity is frying the surface of my brain, sending every thought into a panic and tugging hard at one another until im so taught from the experience that I cannot manage a choice in the chaos.

The only thing making such a description possible is years and years of my mind forcing itself into single, uncontrollable thoughts that build and expand upon themselves until they too are unweildy and chaotic masses of paralyzing discomfort.

The way of coping I use for the latter is to let some other story or activiry fill up the noise and to force my gaze in that direction as a means of making a static out of one or both actions so that I am no longer overwhelmed, and with time I hopefully fall into the new thing instead.

But with so many things dragging my brain in every way and strength all I can do attempt to pick something involved and try to overpower all the other thoughts. Hence, writing this short burst of somewhat calming honesty about a much longer and complicated mental health issue where my thoughts run uncontrollably.

I called it my hyperactive imagination, but with this expansion of how things are I frankly dont know how i will consistently handle this combination of my imagination and executive disorder.
