am i the only person shocked that Ginny says "You were pretty happy to sacrifice yourself for the world" to Harry in Cursed Child ??? They've been together for two decades yet she assumes making sacrifices made him happy. ??

he was willing to die for the world, walked straight to his death & all that, yes, but Ginny explain me, why the fuck you think he was happy to do that ?? why do you think he felt joy ??

unless we're talking about being suicidal, because it's true Harry was sometimes suicidal in canon but here Ginny was talking about harry's extroardinary selflessness so the only thing i can see here is Ginny fundamentally NOT understanding Harry.

the worst part is that at the end of book 6 Ginny says something like "i knew you'd want to leave me, you'll be happy on this quest to end voldemort" which is also laughably wrong.

and we clearly see she still doesn't understand him.

I think the highest, yet strangest compliment I've received so far for commenting on a fanfic is a stranger asking me if I was in love with the person whose writing I complimented PFFT

While no, I was not in love with them, I'm flattered by the idea of complimenting so frequently and adoringly on this author's works (and having them always comment on mine, too) that I get accused of loving them...

It's not romance - just the passion of fandom, honestly <3
