Thank you for the tag Hana! Just getting ready to end a year long internship so I was busy with finalizing some projects, so sorry I respond a bit late, but thanks nevertheless! Avoided Tumblr for a bit cause I knew if I scrolled through I'd get sucked in and procrastinate lol

Anyways!

Currently reading: In the same boat that I've been reading digital books, not many physical English books where I live 😢. Rereading Lord of the Mysteries, a book called Daindreth's Assassin about a girl with a curse that has to obey the command of the one who placed the curse. Aaand also Mockingjay from the Hunger Game's series. Never read the last book, know some bits and pieces but want to know what really happens for myself.

Last song: Golden from KPop Demon Hunters. Mostly been placing the movies soundtrack on loop. Being so high energy really helped me concentrate and getting through my projects so thanksssss KPDH!

Last film: KPop Demon Hunters. The art's great, the music's fantastic and the characters are really expressive! Just had some problems with the story, mainly that the movie definitely would've benefited with a longer screen time to develop a character's relationship with another, but other than that it's a fun film!

Last series: Oh geez, I hardly watch many series since I usually like binging. Uhhh I think it was The Residence on Netflix. A murder mystery mini series placed in the White House. It's a really good series, I loved following the main lead, Cordelia, finding new clues and her attitude towards people trying to obfuscate the truth. Highly recommend if you're into murder mysteries. Oh, I guess donghua's count as a series too, I've also been following Lord of Mysteries, have been loving it so far. Am listening to both the original dub and the English one too. It has a really good English dub, the VA's did an amazing job with the first 2 episodes.

Sweet, savory or spicy? Sweeeeeeeeeet. I like eating savory stuff as a precursor to getting to eat sweet stuff (Ice cream my beloved). I can't handle spice sadly. Maybe like some spicy chips I'm able to eat if it only heats up the mouth. Spicy foods or chili that starts tickling my throat is off the table

Tea or coffee? Tea. My favorite type I tried recently is masala chai. Soooo goooood

Working on? Finishing my internship! Woooo! Other than that some personal fun projects like documenting art of Twst fanart when the game barely came out. Tons of artists that made some art but then stopped have gotten lost through time and I want to archive it with the OG links. Doing the same with Lord of the Mysteries, though that's mostly because people are really bad about giving credit to the artist, they just repost and that really irritates me, so doing that as well. Other than that, I've also been working on remaking Twst into Minecraft. Right now I'm working on RSA and slowly gonna move up the island to NRC. Also, trying to beat a difficult boss that was released in the newest Deltarune chapters. Just gotta get better at dodging and I'll be fiiiiiiine.

For Hinatsuru, he loves it when she supports him and tells him that, no matter what, she and the girls will always be there for him.

🔊 With Makio, her wish for him and the others to be safe from any dangers relieves him. It lets him feel like you four are going to be safe even if he's not always around because of his job. 🔊 When it comes to Suma, its her showing of emotions that allows Tengen to be himself. No flamboyancy, no bundles of decorations; just Tengen. Being free of his role as the God of Festivals does feel nice from time to time. 🔊 Meanwhile, your role is very different within the relationship. You were considered by the four to be the communicator; understanding each of their problems and speaking them out. So, whenever you were busy and didn't do this, it concerned the four spouses. 🔊 Hinatsuru was watching you train with some of the slayers, your katana clashing against theirs like it was effortless. Though, for it, it most likely was. You were considered a strong replacement for the Sound Hashira, until you retired with your wives and husband. 🔊 Makio stood beside her co-wife and kept her arms crossed. Sitting beside her was a basket filled with your favorite fruits and vegetables. She had worked hard with the other two girls grabbing them and was now watching your shared husband try his best to hold his emotions back. 🔊 Suma was grabbing Tengen's arm and was trying to keep her tears inside. She didn't want to lose you to the demon slayers before you! You were their love! Her tears then began to flow freely as she nearly fell to the ground. 🔊 Tengen stared at the slayers with a blank face and a stiff form. He could feel Suma's tears begin to fall on his arm and he just sighed. They, well he mainly, needed your attention.

Grabbing your hand, Tengen grumbled. You looked at the former Hashira and smiled, looked back at the slayers and told them to get some rest. "We have a lot more training to do tomorrow!"

Each of them sighed in relief before heading back for your old mansion. You had moved back there with your husband and wives for the Hashira training. Because of your shared room, there was quite the amount of space for the trainees. But for now, you would stay out with your lovers.

After all, it seems each of them, who were now holding onto either your hands, waist, or even your neck in a grip comparable to a net's, needed some attention.

☀️ Yoriichi was very obvious with his affections for you. He doesn't mean to come off as boastful or annoying with his love for you, he just loved showing off that he loved you. It was something that he took joy in. Besides, seeing you hugging his arm was always a pleasing thing. ☀️ So, whenever you had your attention somewhere else, it was internally hard to swallow for the Sun Breathing Slayer. He would see you smile at some guy and feel a tiny pit in his stomach. ☀️ Was he angry or upset in any way that you smiled at the man? No. He knew you were his lover, you wore a ring on your finger that showed that role clearly. So, no, jealousy wasn't the reason he felt that hole. It was the fact he wanted that smile directed at himself too. ☀️ He had been gone for a month's time due to a strong demon attack. And when he came back, all he wanted was to be in your arms and to have your eyes on him. ☀️ The biggest way he gains your attention is by hugging you from behind and calling you by your favorite nickname. He'd then pull you close and ask if you had anything else you needed to do. Not in a possessive, demanding sounding way, but in a soft and genuinely curious way. ☀️ If he were to gain your attention, he would hold you as close to him as he could. Yoriichi's favorite pass time with you is to cuddle. Whether you're sitting, standing, or laying down, he doesn't care. As long as you're in his arms, he's content.

Yoriichi's face was dug into your neck as you watched the people below you celebrate. The wars around plagued your minds as the people walked around, but feeling your husband's arms hold you tightly was the one thing keeping you out of a depression.

He kissed your neck as he pulled you closer. "Are you okay?" He asked.

You nodded and nuzzled back into his arms. He smiled and pressed another kiss onto you, this time on your cheek.

"I'm so happy to have you by my side, my love."

"I'm happy to be by your side, my bright sun."

🌸 Kagaya does love showing his love for the people he cares for. Call is a cliche, since he is the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, but it's the honest truth. 🌸 Your daughters and you and the first one to actually see how much he adores having your attention. While he doesn't make it extremely obvious and bluntly speaks about it, Kagaya does enjoy having your eyes on him. 🌸 It was one day that your husband had begun to fall more ill that you asked if someone else, specifically your friend Amane Himorogi who was well-versed in medicine, could come down to watch as you helped handle the Hashira training. 🌸 You felt bad you couldn't be there 24/7 for your husband, but he voiced hundreds of times that he understood and wanted you to help the Hashira, both former and current, get the other slayers stronger to help defeat your enemy. 🌸 One day, you were tuckered out and laid down in your bed. Kagaya was walking around the yard and listened to his daughters playing. His calm smile as obvious as ever, but after getting news from Amane that you can come home early from training with Sanemi, he immediately asked to be guided to your shared room.

Laying down beside you, he could feel you hug him as you rested. He smiled softly and hugged you back, his fingers dancing against your slightly-exposed skin as delicately as a man adoring the finest of paintings.

"I missed you, my dear." Kagaya said, his heart warming as your hands interlocked with his own.

You hummed and pushed your face deeper into his chest. The action got a light chuckle out of the man. His shoulders moving up and down as he let out the breaths of joy.

"Missed you too..." You mumbled sleepily.

Walking into the ELLE Magazine building, the air shifted from a muggy NYC morning to a fresh, lilac scent as you and your assistant were escorted to the elevator.

"So we're going to get you into hair and makeup first, not that you really need any." Emma, ELLE's project manager, smiles as she runs through today's visit.

"I'm on day 6 of this twist out, all it needs is some water and mousse. And y'all are more than welcome to doll me up, I love getting my makeup done."

Emma lights up and sends a message on her phone. "I'll let them know upstairs. We're very excited to have you here."

You smile softly, "I really appreciate that. Thank you for having us."

"Zelma," Emma looks to your raven-haired assistant. "Thank you as well for sending us Ms. Venus' measurements and preferences."

Zelma nods bashfully, pushing some of her leave-out behind her ear.

"And please just call me Y/n, I love my alter ego, but it's a little too early for that diva." You chuckle as the elevator reaches the 12th floor.

Emma nods respectfully, then leads you out of the elevator and into a makeup chair. You glance briefly at a wall clock, 8:07. Entirely too early for your liking, but the shoot must go on.

Once the ELLE team introduces themselves and gets started on making you look more alive, time seems to move much faster- or maybe you fell asleep. Either way, they worked smoothly, and the finished product was beautiful. The base was lightweight and had a natural finish, complementing your everyday dark liner and pink glossy look, while the eyes took center stage with a bold purple winged shadow and glitter on the lid.

"Oh, I look hot, you guys are going to have to teach me how to recreate this. I probably wouldn't do it justice though." They chuckled as you shamelessly posed in the mirror.

"We freelance too, just so you know. We have no problem hitching a flight to the Midwest for you." One of the artists, a dark-skinned woman named Sheila, winked.

You meet her smirk with your own. "I like you. I'll have Zelma collect your information. I am still looking for a team to take on tour with me."

Both Sheila's and her partner's eyes sparkle at the idea. The latter, Paula, spoke up first. "We'd be honored to tour with you. Send us the details, and we'll work it out perfectly."

"I leave you for an hour and you're already stealing my artists." Emma grins, her heels softly clacking on the marble floor as she enters the room like a boss with her iPad of plans.

"You have very good people here, sharing is caring, you know." You tease as a wardrobe follows behind her.

"Indeed, it is. Let's see how many of these you'll steal."

The answer: all of it.

The rack immediately spoke to you. Vabriant jumpsuits range from rosy pink to fuchsia and deep purple, paired with platform rhinestoned heels to match, and the jewelry they brought in... You needed it all. This was no longer a photoshoot; you were shopping now.

You tried on every pair of heels, posed in your favorite pieces, and found yourself having way more fun than you imagined during this shoot.

Soon, the photographer was replaced with a videographer, your makeup was touched up, and you put your glasses back on for the next segment.

"Alright, 'Phoning It In', our version of prank calling. We'll read you a challenge; you can say no if it makes you uncomfortable. We do not want to create any problems for future collaborations. You'll be able to use your phone, but you have to tell us who you are going to call for each one." Madaleine, the producer, says as they change around some parts of the set.

"Sounds fun, you guys are professionals, so I trust you." You agree to the terms. "I do have to warn you, my friends have potty mouths. Prepare to censor out a lot of language. I also apologize if I slip up."

"No worries, it happens all the time. We want you to act as naturally as possible on the phone. We will censor anything you need us to." She reassures.

"Fantastic, let's get rolling then!"

“Hi, I’m Venus and I’m here at ELLE to play a game called Phoning It In. I have a list of challenges that will be putting my very novice acting skills to the test as I prank some of my closest friends.”

“Have you done anything like this before?” An off screen producer asks.

“Was I the one who started prank-calling people at parties? No, but do I know how to star 67 numbers…” She smirks, looking away from the camera.

“That wasn’t the question. Anyway! I think this is going to be fun. I love any excuse to go full theatre kid, so I have a good feeling about this. I will say, I am usually the friend who has their phone on DND, so hopefully they don’t immediately clock me.”

“Oooo okay… I’m gonna text Leon Thomas, he’s the main producer on the album, so he’ll definitely have the best worse reaction.” She chuckles, opening her phone and calling him on speaker.

“Hey V, what’s going on?” Leon cheerily picks up after two rings.

Venus takes a deep breath and tries to get into her acting bag. “Oh my god, you will not believe what happened.” She fake sobs.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, what’s wrong? What happened?” Leon’s tone shifts instantly.

Her voice hitches. “My PR found unreleased tracks on SoundCloud… Only you had access to the final cut of the album… D-Did you leak the record?” 

The line goes silent for a few seconds. “Ain’t not god*mn way. I ain’t leak sh*t V. Are you serious? What the f*ck man?” 

“It’s almost all out there- I’m looking at it right now…” She covers her mouth to keep her giggles in check while she hears freakishly fast typing on the other side.

“Hell nah, I’ll fire this dumb*ss intern today if the shit- V I don’t see shit on here. What’d they leak it under?”

“You didn’t? Oh, okay.” She drops the act. “Because if you did, we’d have a major problem considering this was a prank.”

“What?! Aw hell, V, you got me hot, that’s not right.” Leon groans in relief.

“I’m sorry, bro. I’m doing a bit for Elle, they asked me to cry and ask if you leaked the album.” She chuckles.

“Aight, you better not do that shit again or Imma really leak some shit. Remember T****?”

Her eyes widen. “Woah woah, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. I promise not to prank call you anymore. Love you, byeee.”

He laughs harder. “Deuces.” 

“Lord, could y'all bleep out the last thing he said?” She chuckles nervously.

“Is T**** something from the vault?”

“Oh girl, deep in the vault and should never see the light of day. If y'all ever hear that one, I’m not gonna be the one singing it.” She snorts, shaking her head.

“Alright, what’s next?”

“Oh I know the perfect person for this. I’m calling my best friend, we came up with the title together while lying on my living room floor.” She smiles, calling her up.

“Well, look who’s finally calling me back. I was about to subtweet you, b*tch.” Mars’ voice comes through colorfully, laced with a joking tone.

“Oh I’m sorry, a b*tch’s been working all day. I have an album to promote, remember?”

“Yeah yeah yeah. Heard it all before…”

“So you know it’s true. Speaking of the album, I was thinking about changing the name of it.” She smirks to the camera.

“Ummm it’s coming out in like a week. Isn’t it a little too late for that?”  Mars asks, perfectly skeptical.

“Nah, but hear me out, though.”

“I’m listening, as always.” She says somewhat thoughtfully.

“The Events Leading to Track 9.” Venus says straight-faced. “So…? What we think- oh my god she’s FaceTiming me.” 

After answering the FaceTime, Mars goes off. “Y/n. Y/n Y/m Y/n.”

“Damn, just put my full name out there, why don’t you?” She playfully rolls her eyes.

“Girl, shut up. That’s either the best PR trick you could do or the f*cking worst. Don’t you dare change the name of that album.” Mars glares at her.

“But why not? It’s technically true.”

“It’s not though, it’s dumb. It should be ‘The Events After Track 9’.” Mars smirks, they both start laughing.

“Not you trying to help this ridiculous idea.”

“B*tch if I remember correctly, the whole track 9 dilemma was the ridiculous idea.” She points out, rightfully so.

“You went along with you- in fact you encouraged it.”

“Well that’s what happens when an evil spirit has influenced you.” 

Venus scoffs, not hurt but a tad annoyed. “B*tch, f*ck you. This was a prank, by the way, and that was foul. Take it back.”

“Can’t it’s already in the world. Since when do you prank call people? You hate calling people in general.”

V nods to the Elle camera. “That’s very true. I hate being on the phone. I’d rather burn my processor up with FaceTime. Anyway, I’m with Elle. Say hi.” She turns her phone towards the camera.

“Oh, heyyy! Wait, y'all didn’t make her sing? I swear to God, this girl lives for song association; she just starts belting out the first thing that comes to mind. Watch V.” 

She chuckles, facing the camera again. “Hit me.”

“No, tell me Lose My Breath didn’t just start playing in your head?”

“It did…” She throws her head back in giggles. “The second I said it, the drums came in.”

“Wanna sing some of it?” A producer asks.

“Yesssss make her sing!” Mars encourages.

Venus shrugs, looking around like she’s thinking. “I don’t know… it might be in- 

‘Can you keep up, baby boy. Make me lose my breath…”

“Y'all think you’re slick. I wonder who I should call.” She snorts, throwing the card. 

“We have no idea what you could be talking about.” Everyone in the background laughs.

“So who’re you gonna call?”

Venus sighs dramatically, then picks up her phone. “I’m calling my boyfriend, get ready to censor some of this out.” She smirks as the phone rings.

The producer hands her the lyrics to her song, which she accepts gratefully while the dial tone plays.

“If this man doesn’t pick up-

“Baby hold on, gotta get rid of the strays.” Joe’s calm, deep voice comes through the speaker.

“Oh no, here we go again…” She sighs, taking the opportunity to start the prank realistically.

“I know, I know. Alright, I’m in the car. How’re ya doing, pretty girl?” 

“I don’t know, still fighting over what I said? I’m sorry.” 

He sighs remembering the brief argument they had before she left. “Baby, Y/n, we don’t have to talk about this over the phone.”

“I’m sorry.” She mutters against the speaker, then winks to the camera.

“You have nothing to be sorry about; we both make mistakes and get upset sometimes,” Joe says softly, his voice full of understanding. 

Venus frowns, mouthing, ‘he’s too good for this.’

“I’m bad at love, I’m not good at this.” She continues.

“Y/n stop,” He sighs, “I don’t want this to bring you down, you know how I feel about your bouts of self-deprecation. Especially when I’m not there to hold you and make it all better.”

“But I can’t say that I’m innocent.” She adds a scoff-like laugh. “Not hardly, but I’m sorry.”

“Babe, what is this about? Are you okay? Do you need me to come to New York, cause I’ll jump on a flight right now.”

*Everyone behind the camera coos in awe. Venus throws her head back kicking her feet, everyone in the room can tell this is killing her. But she’s committed.

She takes a deep breath, both in necessity and for drama. “All my friends they know and it’s true..” She sniffles. “I don’t know who I am without you.”

“Impossible, you might be the love of my life but that’s not all you are. You’re an incredible songwriter, a beautiful kind person and the best singer I have ever heard. Without me, you’ll always be a star, I’m here to make sure you shine brighter.” Joe’s voice is full of love and warmth that ultimately makes her crack.

“Oh my god, baby. I can’t do this.” Y/n shakes her head and switches to a video call.

“You gonna tell me what’s wrong now, beautiful?” Joe fills the frame with a soft but concerned smile. His hair slicked back with sweat and only the top of his white tank top can be seen, his lightly tanned skin flushed since he just finished working out.

“Yes, babe I’m so sorry I put you through that. It was a prank. I’m here with ELLE, say hi.” She explains turning her phone so he can see the camera crew.

“Hi everyone.” Joe sighs of relief, a small chuckle following. “Jesus, babe. I thought you were about to break up with me or worse. I’m glad you’re okay, even though you scared the shit out of me.”

She laughs guiltily. “I know, I’ll make it up to you when I get back, promise.”

“I’ll be looking forward to that.” He does the oddly attractive eyebrow thing.

“Oh my god, bye babe. And don’t tell Ja’Marr yet, I might have to prank him next.” 

“Got it, you know your acting has gotten way better than you think.”

“I’ll absolutely take that compliment. Bye handsome, I love you.” He responds softly then she ends the call. “That was f*cking brutal. What’s next?”

“Since you already have someone in mind…

“Oh f*ck, the second that leaves my mouth he’s going to call Joe. Yall are about to trigger this man. No one here is prepared for an Uno crashout. Brace yourselves.” Venus giggles as the phone rings.

“Yo V, what’s up? Miss me yet?” Ja’Marr’s cocky and annoying ‘little brother’ tone comes through the phone easily.

She rolls her eyes. “No bighead, I need some advice. Like real advice, no bullsh*t.”

“Real advice? Why me though? What about Joe?”

“Well, its not exactly news he’d like to hear.” She says unsettlingly.

“Oh lord, hit me.”

“So my agent called and told me ABC is considering me as the next Bachelorette. What do you think I should-

“HELL NAH! UNLESS SHIESTY IS JOINING YOU BETTER TELL THEM FOOLS NO.”

Y/n holds back her laugh trying to maintain her composure. “This could be a big opportunity for me. My audience could grow, think about the publicity.”

“THAT’S WHAT YOU’RE WORRIED ABOUT? DIDN’T YOUR LAST ALBUM GO PLATINUM?”

“Jay, that’s not the point.”

“THE HELL IT IS. I'M CALLING JOE- ACTUALLY HE JUST PULLED UP, STAY ON THE DAMN LINE.” They can audibly hear the door slam as Ja’Marr leaves his house to go next door. Y/n mutes the call to let out the giggles she couldn’t hold in for much longer.

“I predicted this! He lives next door to us by the way.” Then they all hear it.

“BURROW, YOU NEED TO HEAR THIS SHIT! YOUR GIRL WANTS TO GO ON THE F*CKING BACHELORETTE! I think- NOPE I know she’s lost her mind. I don’t know what the hell you were fighting about before she left, but you need to fix this shit. HERE.” The phone is shoved into the quarterback’s chest. Joe smirks and holds it up to his ear.

“Hey baby, the bachelorette huh?”

Y/n unmutes the phone, chuckling. “It’s a good one right?”

“Oh yeah, Uno’s lost his sh*t. Told you acting might be your next mission.”

Ja’Marr scoffs, his voice softer, but no less enraged due to the distance from the phone. “Acting? On REALITY TV? That's the dumbest f*cking sh*t, I’ve ever f*cking heard! Wait, why the h*ll are you smiling for? I swear if y'all pulling that break up shit on me again…

“JA’MARR, call the hell down. It’s a prank, daffy.”

Joe bursts out laughing while Ja’Marr snatches the phone back. “F*ck you, you’re the d*mn Looney Toon. That shit wasn’t funny. You and your damn boyfriend deserve to go to h*ll for that.”

“It wasn’t that bad.” Joe says out of breath from his laughter.

“You nasty ass bunnies deserve each other. Get the fuck off my lawn Burrow.”

“It’s mine too, asshole!”

“Okay that’s enough, they will bicker for hours.” Y/n snorts ending the call. “I hope yall are entertained.” 

‘It was everything and more.’ The producer chuckles.

Venus shakes her head as they give her the cue to do the outro.

“Thank you guys for watching, I hope you enjoyed. And make sure to check out my new album ‘Tell Me You Love Me'. Bye…”

“AND CUT!”

‘Do you mind telling us what this mystery argument was about?” Someone asks.

Venus just smirks. “I refused to give him a back rub the night before I left. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, ya’know?”

Ok, idea. This could work with either Stanford or Stanley, I'm going to use Stanford for this general idea. Stanford and his partner get off of the Stan'o'war, there's somewhere in California, visiting Mabel and Dipper for the summer. All of them are at the beach having a great old time, the reader could be wearing a bikini or anything of your choosing, and I always imagined the reader being the same age as Stanford, so silver Vixen. Anyways Ford went to grab some water or something from a booth nearby, and readers just chilling there on the chair or towel relaxing enjoying the sun, until some random guy approaches her and starts flirting with her, and she's trying to be polite and trying to turn him down. But the guys not getting the hint and when Ford gets back, he notices this of course and there's 2 possible scenarios, either one he grabs said guy by the shoulder. That reader is his wife or partner, and to piss off, or option 2 he goes up to the reader, gives them the water or something, gives the guy a look and very passively aggressively tells the guy that he would kill him if he doesn't leave you alone…

but also. . . passive-aggressive Ford my beloved <33 he’d smile baring fangs and be like “thank you for keeping my wife company while i was gone. you can go now.” making the guy feel like he’s been called to the principal’s office

but still both options would end with Ford smoothing your towel back out, reapplying your sunscreen for you, muttering “i can’t stand people like that. thinking they can just interrupt your peace!” meanwhile you’re watching him, smiling and feeling so spoiled. a man in his sixties ready to throw hands for your honor? yes please.

also i am a big fan of Ford scaring people he doesn’t like with his super ultra mega interdimensional sci fi weapon. remember that bus driver in the finale? i love when he just decides to whip out some insane machinery that shouldn’t be portable and starts threatening people like it's totally normal. like “oh this? it just vaporizes atoms :) now back off.” the problem solves itself. i think he gets off on that a little tbh

OKAY LISTEN i am in fact a secret scumplane enjoyer, although idk if ill ever write a fic abt them bc idk what the plot would be. but i really like their dynamic, its so juicy to see SQH confronting and perhaps learning to love the manifestation of his self-hating id and the cruelest decisions he made as an author in this world, while SJ learns to appreciate someone who is ostensibly everything that irritates him in a person (sniveling, weak, traitorous) while also being many things he respects under the surface (intelligent, manipulative, a consummate survivor) AND SJ doesn't even know that they share those things because he is the dark mirror of SQH's cringe self insert OC!!

theyre really different, and have a lot of reasons to hate each other, while at the same time fundamentally similar in their world views. idk if they would make each other """better""" but i do think it would be interesting for SQH to have to grow to see SJ as a real person rather than a character on a page, and for SJ to learn to care about SQH despite the flaws that they share and, maybe, through that, forgive some parts of himself

tbh while i have read some scumplane fic that i love, i dont think ive ever read one that explores everything their relationship could mean thematically, which makes me really want one to exist hjlhhhgkjh. a lot of fics w them tend to be SQH solving SJ's various problems, which is not my favorite? mostly because i dont actually see SQH as someone who is particularly moved by pity without some outside motivation, and i am much more interested in them having a weird toxic cat-and-mouse thing with SQH's demonic ties (since SJ is canonically the only one we know suspected him?? which is so juicy as well??). id also be interested in seeing how they navigate violence and physical boundaries between them, considering SJ's trauma from his time as a slave and SQH's presumed trauma from his years as MBJ's servant... so many good options!!

1 Gigi was so hilarious she was perfect.

2 the healthy communication by lyrason YES PLS IT WAS SO GOOD THEY ARE PERFECT.

3 Savannah and Rohan's progression was perfect. everything they said or did make so much sense for each of their characters and you can feel the romance brewing.my favorite part of the whole book

5 Now to what we are all here for. pls be warned this is just my opinion and I tried my best not to be biased and put myself in the shoes of every character. I'm going to break this up into little paragraphs and it's not going to be grammatically correct but it's going to make it a lot easier to digest what I'm trying to say.

Also I have a really hard time trying to put what I have to say into words so if there's anything that's not clear just let me know I'll try to explain it better. ITS REALLY LONG OK I WARNED YOU.

Ok let me just say that I'm against the Jameson hate, and when I say hate, I'm not talking about people holding him accountable for his actions cuz his reaction to a certain things wasn't good AT ALL. now before you go jump me in the comments hear me out with everything I have to say, I promise you just walk with me here. also if this sounds familiar to you it's because I copied and pasted my comments from another post and tweaked them a little LOL.

a)Him abusing his power as a game maker:

I agree that was EXTREMELY shady and I can't even defend him there because it WAS and abuse of power so ty to my other man Rohan for cutting that out immediately. I don't think that that was a correct way to go about it BUT that being said I think the reason why he did it is because of Alice. NOW THIS IS JUST AN EXPLANATION FOR WHAT HE DID NOT AN EXCUSE SO DON'T TWIST MY WORDS. Walk with me here pls just hear me out.

After he learned about what happened to Lyra and the fact that there might be a connection between what happened to her and Alice, and the fact that Grayson was bringing Alice up that made him rightfully paranoid and he wanted to get Lyra away from him and his family because no.1 he knows Alice is a freaking psycho and had already threatened his family if her name got mentioned, and no.2 because Lyra being there lead to hints of Alice getting potentially closer which made Lyra seem like the problem, not necessarily because SHE'S the threat but because she's bringing the threat closer to him.

b) Jameson gatekeeping the secret and not speaking sooner.

STAY WITH ME HERE.

What I think of the whole gatekeeping the secret thing is that PERSONALLY if my dead, not dead psychotic ass grandma that's in a cult that kidnapped me and cut my throat and then threatened to kill my entire family and gave me poison as a reminder that if her existence is know because I said her name she WILL hurt the people I love...idk but me PERSONALLY would prefer to keep it a secret LIKE SHE SAID and stop my family (that she ALREADY THREATENED) from making her existence known as well. I get a bit confused on how this is controversial to some people like this is very understandable TO ME, it doesn't have to be to u but it is TO ME.

c) Jameson should have communicated with Lyra.

Now this is a beautiful opinon, PERFECT EVEN. He should have communicated and used logic/ tried to get more solid evidence from Lyra herself, that would have saved us some much trouble but, once again WALK WITH ME HERE.

I don't think it's that fair to expect that from him 33 minutes after his girlfriend got kidnapped by his psycho grandma. LIKE I SAID his fear is an explanation for his actions not an excuse. And you might say, "hey Karla! he could have definitely talked to her like he talked to Rohan and Grayson DURING THE GAME" and to that I would say, yes guys, that would have been wonderful. BUT what is he going to talk to Lyra about? "well they're going to talk about the current situation involving Alice ofc!". EXACTLY. What is he trying to not make a big deal out of? the Alice situation!! don't get me wrong here, communication is always key but if the did talk, Jameson would tell her to not dig more about Alice because she's dangerous (LIKE HE WAS WARNED) and Lyra would continue to look for answers (AND RIGHTFULLY SO CUZ IF I HAD HAUNTING TRAUMA I WOULD WANT ANSWERS TO TF) I will get to Lyra later ok swear.

I understand that everyone has loyalty to certain characters (myself included) but if it did go this way, you guys (NO SHADE OK ILY ) would still hate on Jameson and talk about "how could he possibly have the audacity to try to stop her from getting answers" and "how he acts so entitled for someone that wanted answers about his own family". and I would 100% agree with these things if it were under any other circumstance that didn't involve his cult-leader grandma threatening to kill everybody he knows (to me that sounds like a pretty good damn reason to stop her from digging).

my point here is that no matter if he did communicate u guys would still not be happy because you would think he's entitled for telling her to stop, or you would think that he should have told her the whole truth, which REALISTICALLY no one would considering she's a total stranger to him and he didn't even want to tell his family about Prague in the first place BECAUSE HE'S TRYING TO AVOID HIS GRANDMA FROM POPPING UP AND FUCKING SHIT UP.

d) It's his fault that they are in this situation.

Now guys... don't make me giggle. I saw this a lot, especially pre-release when it was only the spoilers out but I want to give my two cents. PLEASE PUT ON SOME COMFORTABLE SHOES AND WALK WITH ME HERE AS WELL.

There was some people that were blaming him and Avery for this whole Alice thing and I'm just confused. We know that Jameson followed a map that his grandfather left (I don't know if that was said in a metaphorical way or literal one) but that doesn't mean that he was looking for Alice or maybe it does idk. I don't know if you guys remember but in pain at the right gun he was so surprised when he saw Alice and even if the map thing is true, I doubt that he would look for his grandma if he knew that she was evil. They looked for "dead Toby" in thl and we didn't see that as bad, this is literally the same thing.

There's also a lot of people saying that Avery and Jameson are at fault because they're playing games or whatever, especially in Hawthorne Island. I'm obviously not sure if Alice has any beef with Hawthorne Island but she didn't want Jameson about it at all so I don't think that's the problem. And we do know that this is the second game right? and that everything was fine last year? Personally I don't think blaming the games makes that much sense but that's just MY OPINION.

I also don't think it's fair to say that this was his fault because he tried his best to keep things a secret like HIS HOMICIDAL GRANDMA told him to. Everything was fine for YEARS until this year's game, and I'm not blaming Lyra for anything cause it's not her fault, her father or Alice are obviously responsible for her digging for information (and she's my sweet, perfect baby, angel. she could do zero wrong. fght with the wall) BUT...we have to admit that because of her wanting answers (that's she's entitled to and obviously did not mean any harm in getting like I said before) DID make things escalate, this is not an opinion, this is not just what I think, it's a fact.

NOW DON'T JUMP ME FOR SAYING THAT. if you read the book you know that once Odette mentioned Alice and Lyra and Grayson started digging, shit got real. I'M NOT BLAMING LYRA IN CASE I HAVEN'T MADE THAT PERFECTLY CLEAR I'M JUST SAYING THAT THINGS DID ESCALATE AFTER WHAT ODETTE SAID AND THATS THE TRUTH. LIGHTS STATED GOING OUT, THE WHOLE SHABANG.

e) Jameson blaming Lyra is irrational + he's only cares about protecting himself and his family.

This is going to ruffle a lot of feathers, okay. it is, just like the last paragraph but this is MY THOUGHT PROCESS THAT U ASKED FOR OK. PLEASE PUT ON YOUR LISTENING EARS AND HEAR ME OUT.

I don't think that is irrational that he's blaming Lyra and Grayson. I love Lyra I really really do I promise with my soul I do, but let's be so fr he does not know this girl. WE DO. GRAYSON DOES. HE DOESN'T.

We obviously know that Alice is a very big threat and by not summoning her like beetlejuice and how she warned him not to do I think that's a freaking solid ass job at trying to protect EVERYONE. SOME of you are acting like he saw Alice and traded everyone else including Lyra for her to torture in a chamber in exchange for keeping his family safe. I ALSO DON'T THINK IT'S THAT CRAZY THAT HE'S PRIORITIZING HIS FAMILY THAT WAS ALREADY DIRECTLY THREATENED BY ALICE. SUE ME.

Just to put this into perspective, imagine you got abducted by a serial killer and he almost killed you and said he would kill your family if you mentioned anything about it and then let u go. Now imagine someone new in your neighborhood that you do not know says that they have some sort of history with the serial killer, and hearing this the serial killer threatens to come to your neighborhood. You obviously don't know everyone in your neighborhood or this new person, BUT that doesn't mean that you would want the killer to kill them either. Like a normal human being though, the first thing you would think of is "i hope the serial killer does't get my family that he already threatened to kill". IS THAT SO CRAZY!? idk man this might just be MY OPINION.

Now for the whole blaming thing. Do I think that Lyra and Grayson have the blame for this? NO. Grayson was an absolute KING in this book because he didn't choose between Lyra and his family he chose both. we obviously know that he was trying his best to protect his family by lying to Lyra and avoiding the whole Alice conversation JUST LIKE JAMESON TOLD HIM TO but he almost lost his baddie so he had to tell her the truth LIKE HE SHOULD. Round of applause pls cause Grayson was fabulous in this book 🙌. We also know that Lyra was just trying to get answers because she has fucking trauma relating to this lady, it's not like she went directly to Alice and told her to go kidnap Avery duhhhhh. But guess what? HE DOESN'T KNOW THAT!

We got the whole blaming and punch scene AS Gigi was telling him all this new information about Eve opening her mouth. he doesn't know that Grayson tried his best to keep his mouth shut, and he doesn't know if Lyra was malicious or not. and now you're going to say "well Karla this would all be solved if they communicated!?" SUE A BITCH THAT CRASHES OUT 33 LITERAL MINUTES AFTER THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE AND GOT KIDNAPPED BY HIS MURDEROUS GRANDMA.

I hate to be this person, I really really do, and I'm not hating on Grayson or anything because Jameson did some ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE things in the earlier books, BUT (I'm only saying this to put this in the perspective of people that are biased towards Grayson (KING)) Grayson jumped to conclusions and blamed Avery for the whole inheritance thing because she seemed like a threat. he then apologized a few days later because that he got to know Avery and the truth. now we love Grayson everything is amazing. could we keep the same energy for Jameson? it's been less than an hour bro, I don't think its that insane that he is pointing fingers in the heat of the moment.

He's not pointing random fingers either, (this might get me publicly hanged) but none of the stuff he said was untrue.

“ You happened, Lyra. Eve happened—and now Avery is gone .”

“We were being watched ,” Jameson said, his voice uncharacteristically dull as he parroted what Gigi had told them. “And now, the time for watching is over. You just had to push, Gray. You just had to keep right on saying that name.”

Lyra DID talk to Eve and Grayson DID keep on saying the name. NO AM NOT BLAMING THEM HAVE U BEEN READING WHAT I SAID!? im just saying that that's all he knows. He doesn't know that they're both well-intentioned. in his mind Grayson did not shut up about Alice like he told him to and Lyra was discussing information w the opp. IS THAT THE FULL STORY!? NOOOOO. but in the heat of the moment if that's all the information that u knew because THAT'S WHAT U GOT TOLD LESS THAN 2 LITERAL SECONDS AGO (no time to process) wouldn't you be mad at them too.

He also blamed Eve repeatedly. but guess why no one's defending her? cuz we don't like her and she probably did have malicious intent. we know that Lyra doesn't have malicious intent but does he know that? NO BECAUSE SHE'S A STRANGER.

6 Now all of that being said, when I said I'm everybody's defender I meant it. I personally don't think that the "big mouth" comment was THAT offensive because he was heated and it's not like he called her a disgrace (and I also have an older brother and we bully each other like every single day) but I think that Lyra has EVERY SINGLE RIGHT to be mad because he IS painting her as a villain. I would personally love to see her humbling him in the future (pls jlb). and in case you haven't caught it, my whole rant was an explanation for why Jameson acted the way he was not an excuse. I could understand prioritizing your family, especially if they were already specifically threatened before, but I don't think that completely disregarding the fact that Lyra is affected by this too was nice AT ALL. keeping her out of it to prevent things from escalating is understandable at least from my point of view BUT I think that once he told his family, they shouldn't have kept her out of it even if they were trying to protect her as well by stopping her from digging more.

I also might get publicly stoned for saying this, but some of you guys were being a bit dramatic. saying that he's a disgustingly selfish beast and should kill himself just because he didn't do anything or say anything about her trauma is so unserious to me. obviously I feel super bad for Lyra and I think what happened to her is horrible and she deserves to know more but he never addressed it which does make me upset because HELLO wake up buddy she isn't just digging for no reason or to purposely get you family killed. I think his sense was obscured by fear which pmo because if he stopped and thought for a second instead of running around like a headless chicken, they would've worked as a team and SHE WOULD KNOW HOW SERIOUS THIS CULT THING IS BEFORE ALL THE DRAMA. But if we're being fr it's not like he said "i don't give a fuck about this bitch's trauma." he just never considered her and focused on his family which is still hurtful and I wish he did but if you like Mr "family first" u cannot cancel Jameson for doing the same.

7) Also last thing the whole " omg Jameson is being so scary, he's acting like a beast, I'm scared for the safety of everyone, he's going to individually rip off all their limbs, use them as a boat to get out the island and rip all their hearts out to use as food" 😥😰😨 LMAO PLS BE FUCKING FOR REAL. I gotta say those are funny I might use them for my memes later. all he did was yell and punch Grayson like HELLOOOOOO were you here for chapter 41 or...

8) I lied that wasn't the last thing. the post I made yesterday with the whole "handle her" thing... guys we have officially lost the plot. HE SAID THE EXACT SAME THING FOR NASH AND NO ONE IS UPSET. BE A HATER NOT A LIER. he point of that post was to show that one Avery has not done anything wrong and two that Jameson didn't like Lyra but it's not like he said "LETS THROW HER TO THE SHARKS OR BETTER YET ILL RIP OUT HE LIMBS MYSELF" he telling gray to control his lady so that things dont continue escalating.

Jack leaned on the railing of the roof and watched the sun spill red gold over the rooftops. Like the blood of some god everyone forgot about. And just breathed in the city. A maisma of dumpster, concrete, iron, and life.

"Good to see you over on this side," Robby observed.

"Wasn't the worst day," Abbot answered. "Saw an old friend. More of him than I wanted to but- he came through surgery fine. His kid sister is with him now."

It felt weird calling you a kid when he knew you were 32 now. But in his mind all he could really see was your school picture. Beaming at the camera behind silver wire frames. Mischief and baby fat.

Robby came and leaned on the railing next to him, nodding. "Gonna go see them?"

"Thought I'd stop by. Check my work," Jack said shrugging.

"And check out the sister?" Robby snorted.

"It'd be nice to meet her," Abbot admitted.

Robby looked at him, brow furrowed and Abbot's lip twitched. "I served with Walker. His sister was just a kid and she used to write him stories and send them to him- it became," he broke off for a second. Grappling to describe it. "A distraction. It broke up the boredom. The stress."

Kid is definitely not a good descriptor anymore. You're a woman. Comfortably into your 30's with a healthy figure and a presence. You don't demand his attention but he's drawn to you anyway. And it startles him a little.

"Before you ask, Jack," Walker put in from the bed, "Yes. She's always like this."

OK! So I'm going to do an analysis and theory revolving around Sun

And I'm going to do a criticism of Moon! Now, if you read the entire criticism of Moon and feel personally called out, take a breath and step back and ask yourself "why do I feel insulted by the criticism of a fictional character?". I know there's a lot of you who kin/stan Moon but just because you like him doesn't mean you can't criticize him.

On that note, I love debate and discussion and fully invite it! ✨😌

Just be warned this theory and critique will mention recent TSAMS eps, so I'm spoiling it so no one gets spoiled!

THEORY TIME:

So with today's ep, I had to sit back at the new skeleton Sun. At first I was kind of mad cause like...what the hell is that. Who is that. Why is that? but then I got thinking. Whoever this is, it didn't seem like he had Sun's memories but he also did seem to? Has anyone else noticed there's been an increase of Suns just.... showing up?

First we had Rise from before the move. He was made from the perfect replica of Sun's personality and memories. The only problem is he didn't look at all like Sun. We find out later Sun's very important firewall was glitched and down. I think this is due to the painful zap he received when he teleported Wither Nexus to the empty dimension. @trashwriter1102 Actually went back and checked old videos for me to see when it was stated Sun had the firewall glitch.

We think it was either due to minor NSP poisoning from when Sun touched Nexus or from the teleportation device being unstable. It might have even been a combination of the two things causing Sun's firewall to fail.

Reminder, that firewall was made specifically because the Creator hijacked Sun's brain and was torturing him in his own mind. That firewall was necessary to keep Sun's mind protected.

So with his firewall down, Fazbear was able to fully download his memories into some kind of database and that's how they made Rise.

The only reason the family knew Rise wasn't Sun was because he was not built to look exactly like Sun. However, he had every one of Sun's memories and fully thought he was Sun. The episode they're introduced in ends with Moon wiring his brain so the knows he is in fact not Sunrise and a new animatronic entirely.

Sun was also fired from the daycare. I find that so suspicious.

Sun was by all accounts the record earning animatronic and the fan favorite at fazbear. He was still attending to the daycare until the very end.

So, it's very odd he was replaced.

It was explained by Moon it was possible he was maybe replaced due to his firewall going down but that just seems like an odd reason?

Then about 3 weeks later in TSAMS posting timeline another Sun showed up.

The Sun that looked identical to Sun who showed up slightly after. They just randomly showed up. The Yandere Sun.

He looks exactly like our Sun but didn't have any of Sun's memories.

The entire family did not know he was an imposter. The only way Moon figured it out was when Y!Sun asked who Terra/Earth is. He let it slip he doesn't even have a sister. Moon then proceeded to test him by threatening to lock Sun back up in a magic box Sun kept acting weird around Monty.

No one really asked how or why that Sun was randomly there...they just kind of called him a Yandere because he grabbed a knife and kicked him out.

So while that Sun didn't seem to be interested in replacing him does no one else find it strange he just showed up?

We also have been meeting this new re-occuring Sun and Moon who are animalistic and looking to expand their pack. They're like wolves and for some reason TSAMS Sun smelled good to them. They liked him.

Moon eventually did trick them into going to Eclipse's dimension (I actually really liked these episodes XD) and EAPS!Sun ended up wanting to go with them. To which the Alpha Sun rejected him because he smelled too much like a cat and was dumb like one too.

So smell wise....TSAMS Sun smells more dog like? Despite having cats as pets that he very much snuggles daily. It could have also just been a fun vibe kind of gag.

Fast forward more to after the move, Killer Sun showed up. He's been showing up frequently and no one knows why yet. It's assumed he wants something from the new Observer enemy, with the bounty out on Solar, but that's not confirmed yet.

In one of the more recent episodes we also met the E boy / Emo Sun (hate that name btw) and we find out he is in fact some kind of...clone? It's not really found out if he's a clone or from another dimension or what...but we do have evidence that this Sun either watches the show or has current memories of Sun's.

While it was very obviously not their Sun...Moon kind of thought Sun was doing something to be annoying. So he eventually tried calling Sun while Solar looked for him. Oddly enough, Solar could not find Sun and when Moon called that Eb!Sun's voicemail is what picked up.

Even though it wasn't Sun.

The number Moon tried went to Eb!Sun's phone.

I have a theory that it's due to this Sun (who might be a clone) has the same number as Sun and since he was closer to Moon physically that's why Moon's call connected to him and not our Sun.

Something else to point out.

Shortly before the first big confrontation and fight Moon and Monty went to go confront their most recent enemy. Moon tried to call Sun and he didn't answer. He's always answered so I found that kind of worrisome. Then we look at what's happening now. Sun is acting very strange.

Yes he's upset and trying to be petty and hurt Moon back...but his silliness with the wig...and how he seemingly keeps vanishing into his room. On top of all these random Sun's showing up over time. I can't help but wonder if there's more to the randomness? Remember...a long time ago Dark Sun impersonated Sun...and no one knew it was him. He's only been caught two times and both were due to Sun's Phone.

The only people to really notice something was off with Dark Sun was Dazzle. Not even Terra/Earth and Cosmos/Lunar could tell Dark Sun was pretending to be Sun. It was quite literally his phone in both instances that got Dark Sun caught.

This means...we actually don't know how many times Dark Sun has pretended to be Sun. While I know he's gone to his Suntopia we have to remember we still never found out what all of his motives were. We still don't know why he went to the effort to pretend to be Sun.

We still don't even know what he took from Sun's room or why he needed it.

We also know what Dark Sun did has affected the multiverse like some kind of poison. Suns are killing their Moons more and we even learned the statistic D!Sun told Sun about Moons killing their Suns was a lie.

We even have proof Sun and Moon variants, like Day and Night might be affected by what Dark Sun has done too because of them just snapping and changing one day. (I am not caught up on the new laes so it's possible I'm so off about this)

It's like...Sun is stated to be some form of a pillar Sun in the multiverse, that's why his decision to kill a brother affected the multiverse so deeply. Isn't it almost like...sun's are showing up now to take his spot?

I can't wait to see more of this. If more random Sun's will keep showing up. Are they possibly Sun's from other dimensions that want Sun's own life? I don't really know if that's the case but Sun vanishing a lot lately is...interesting.

MOON CRITIQUE TIME:

I feel like a lot of what I want to say has already been said. Moon flat out broke a promise and he's upset he's suffering the consequences of his actions. Moon I have such a hard time understanding.

He gives me the vibe of he loves Sun...but doesn't like him.

Moon has literally no problem actively choosing to hurt Sun over and over again. He condescends Sun too. Calling him emotional. Calling him sensitive. Implying he's useless and not needed.

The worse thing is...Moon has broken promise after promise. He's not just recently broken his promise.

Shortly after the move, he broke his promise to Sun to not commit crimes.

He broke his promise when he first came back and used the kill code voice on Sun.

He modified Sun's body without any consent....because it'd take too long to explain to Sun (who had a broken spine in this moment mind you) that he was installing some kind of super emp into him.

He didn't even think Sun could be useful when it came time to seeing Wither Nexus to another dimension.

Moon also has returned to his backhanded compliments, berating, demeaning, and just...screaming at Sun when he's mad.

When Sun first saved Moon and killed Nexus, Moon said he'd talk with Sun when they got back. He promised Sun it'd be okay and he'd be there and the moment they returned home he ran off to his lab and avoided Sun.

The worst part? When he did return and try to comfort Sun...he just straight up told Sun he did hate them at the start and that's why Moon literally tortured him.

Then of course recently...he accused Sun of being the reason why Nexus went crazy and that's just...wow. Sun literally confided in him how he feels about Nexus...how he blames himself.

Moon flat out chooses over and over again to hurt Sun because he's so insecure the only way he can feel good about himself is beating Sun down and excluding Sun.

It flat out feels like he's mad Sun's been outshining him lately. I can't think of any reason why he just chooses to treat Sun below dirt.

Sun's been spending more time forgiving Moon in his life then he has been living his life. He's spent more time justifying why Moon is so awful to him and he's now just...stopped finding reasons to forgive Moon.

Before Moon died, Sun could blame Eclipse, BloodMoon, or even KillCode for Moon's terrible behavior...but then he met that other Moon.

The one who never left a killcode in their Sun's head. The one who told him he wouldn't have done that to his Sun because it would have only hurt him.

Sun even went to several dimensions where another version of Moon just straight up killed their Sun. Sun denied Moon truly hated him Sun was also taught by his new family that Old Moon abused him. He did. There's no argument there. Moon is awful at times. Awful. Period.

He broke down Sun to the point where Sun would never have the confidence to leave him. He punished Sun unfairly because he didn't like the situation they were both equally in. He also hated Sun for being good with kids. He hated that Sun liked the daycare. He flat out resented Sun for being happy.

He resented Sun for liking him.

Then we move to after he died.

Sun told New Moon (Nexus) that he loves and likes him so much more then Old Moon...because when you look at the way Nexus treated Sun versus how O.Moon treated Sun it's just night and day.

We also saw how much better Moon treated Lunar/Cosmos...their enemy at the time and I truly think Sun hasn't forgotten that.

Terra/Earth also built Sun up through therapy and family love. For a short period Sun felt love and knows what it means to have a loving family.

We all know how that went with Nexus' downfall and Moonv3's return.

So with current TL, Moonv3 keeps making the same mistakes over and over again. It's cyclical. He wants to bring back the cycle of abuse for whatever reason.

Sun is for once in his life putting his foot down and standing up for himself and this makes Moon crazy.

He's yelling screaming and quite literally blowing up at Sun over really random and silly things. Even things that aren't Sun's fault Moon is now trying to blame on Sun.

He's genuinely just spiraling and not getting why Sun is being petty and stooping down to teach him a lesson.

Here's the thing...Sun hasn't yelled or insulted Moon once. Not once.

But Sun could absolutely devastate Moon. He could flat out disown Moon over this.

So here's where I'm saying new things about the situation. Do remember how much Moon spiraled when Sun insulted him so long ago? Sun called him a bad person and he crashed out so hard over that.

What Moon doesn't understand, and that he needs to, is Sun did not want O.Moon to come back.

He didn't at all.

Monty brought Moon back against Sun's own will. Monty asked Sun and instead of saying yes or no...Sun basically said do whatever you want because you don't care about what I have to say....and he was right.

Moon was accepted back into the family very...tentatively. Sun grieved for him but he still outright said, "Things won't be the same"

And they're not.

I'm truly glad Sun is standing up for himself but it's so sad that just the smallest push back from Sun is causing Moon to act this way. To insult Sun and bring up all the things that hurt him.

What will Moon insult next? Will Moon, like in the non canon roast video, just tell Sun he murdered Dazzle? He said it is Sun's fault Nexus went crazy.

Moonv3 is literally throwing a tantrum and acting out so childishly because in his mind, if he can get Sun to scream, to cry, to hit him, then that means Sun is no better then him and it can justify him hurting Sun.

It's a very childish and backwards mindset. It's exactly what he did to Sun in the Beta 10 bunker.

Remember? Sun was trying to be positive, to tell Moon it'd be okay. He was trying to tell Moon he loves him and they're in this together.

What does Moon do? Punches Sun in the face. Tells him he's going to kill Sun if he can't keep Eclipse under control (The same code he could not control). He outright called him stupid. Because if Moon back then could get Sun to hit him back?

That means Sun is a liar and it'd be okay to dismantle him. To punish him. Because Moon can't feel good in a situation or feel in control unless he's punishing Sun in some way.

Does he still feel or think this way? I'm not sure. I'm really not sure.

I think he genuinely is spiraling because he really didn't mean to hurt Sun and imply he was useless. But that's exactly what he did.

Moon needs to apologize and mean it.

Here's the kicker, Sun doesn't have to forgive him. Sun I hope doesn't. Moon can't learn without consequences.

Terra wasn't required to forgive Cosmos after he crippled her. Sun shouldn't have to forgive Moon for breaking promise after promise.

Moon explicitly is choosing to break his promises despite EVERYONE telling him he's in the wrong and he still can't fathom WHY Sun would be justifiably upset.

How is Sun supposed to genuinely trust his brother now? He can't. Why should he ever again?

Moon doesn't understand he's shown how absolutely untrustworthy he is. He needs perspective on that. I hope instead of lashing out like a hateful and ignorant child that he'll actually for once pull his head out of his rear end and actually try to listen to what Sun is screaming at him.

BloodMoon, the canon cannibal that's murdered hundreds of people, treats their sibling better then how Moon treats Sun. When the crazy cannibal character can be kinder to their own twin that should raise a big red flag to Moon.

This is just a side note, but to all the Moon stans and Moon kins, this is not an attack at all but how can you sit and watch the same show as me...and say Sun is in the wrong for acting out? How can you look at what Moon said and did and still take Moon's side? Are Moon stans/kins genuinely okay? Do they even have...friends IRL?

The way some Moon stans/kins talk just...it comes off like they see themself in Moon and I'm like, why do you personally align yourself with an abuser? A person who is perpetuating manipulation? Emotional abuse? Someone who's actively choosing to hurt someone they love...for the sake of hurting them?

They're the type to blame the victim, like how Moon is in canon. I don't begrudge anyone for liking Moon, I like Moon. However, I can't ever look at what he's doing and done and say "yeah he's valid for it" He's absolutely not???

There's a really big difference between reading problematic media and liking a problematic character for being well written and interesting versus SEEING YOURSELF as said character.

Moon stans, I'm not attacking you or anyone, you can like what you like....

But when you defend Moon it truly gives the vibes of those people who hear about someone being r***d and ask, "WhAt wErE tHeY wEaRiNg?" Moon stans/kins...you genuinely give the energy of people who hear about a girlfriend being beaten to death by her psycho boyfriend and ask "WhAt DiD sHe dO To dEsErVe tHat? LMAO"

Moon stans/kins, you give off victim blaming mentality...and I have to just ask, are you all okay? Some don't even see Moon as abusive? When he was??? We watched the same episodes.

[heya, author here! These are some of my favorite bois haha, especially Ortho! Though I fear I didn't write them too good haha. But I tried my best, and I even method wrote by doing this one at two am after a gaming sesh lolol. But even though Idia probably wouldn't, please remember to drink some water and get some rest! And have a great rest of your day!]

One of the last things you would've expected after downloading a game like twisted wonderland, is for the characters to leave the dang game and show up irl! But things rarely go as you expect, and this is something it's nice to be wrong about.

It was a pretty regular day when it happened, just sitting down and playing twst. Only for an impromptu single pull on the banner, turning into SSR particles and a fancy coffin. Of course you're getting excited. But instead of showing your new card, you have the character fall right out of your screen onto the floor in front of you. Oh goodness gracious...

------------------Idia Shroud-------------------

Now Idia wishes he caught himself, or maybe you caught him, or something else otome worthy. Not falling to the floor, and accidentally pulling you down with him when he tried to grab something frantically during his fall. Yeah lady luck hates him in more than just his gacha pulls... Whyyyyy...

"P-player!? Aghhh no whyyyy, where's the reset button!? That had to have been a nat one... Undo undo undo. Please get off of me, this is is so embarrassing... I wanna ctrl alt del everything rn. This is so cringe even for me..."

It takes a good ten minutes for him to let his hoodie strings go, and his hair is a bright pink. Eventually you both are just sitting next to each other, the awkward silence so painful. Idia wishes he could shrivel up and disappear. He keeps glancing at you from the corner of his eyes, and you're not sure if he wants you to talk and break the awkwardness of it all, or leave so he can he alone in his wallowing. So obviously you do neither, and just sit there. Awkwardly.

Idia is screaming mentally, and he would be screaming out loud except his voice has failed him. Why does life hate him? He got his chance at meeting the player, and already ruined it! They must hate him by now, this is so embarrassing, just like the rest of his life... Can he just do a complete restart of the whole world? This game file is already locked on a bad end! ...there's no way to fix this, maybe he can just go back to twst? But he already doesn't wanna leave now that he's seen you in person, like a cheesy shojo manga! Maybe he can Try and fix this...

-a few months later-

Life's pretty chill actually? Sure Idias space is cluttered, and he still gets nervous around you sometimes. But it's gotten way better! You guys can have full conversations by now! (About anime, but it's a start.) He is living for this world btw. A whole new world like an isekai, and it's not a high fantasy so it has anime! Hundreds of completely new anime! Though he has complained about not being able to finish his manga series from back home.

He still feels nervous around you, but in a different way than before. His chest clenches, and his breath was taken away when he saw you in a new outfit. You're like his favorite character getting a fancy skin for an event, and it's f2p! The only problem with these arrangements is you acting like a broken NPC, and constantly asking when he's going back to twisted wonderland. Why would he do that when he almost found a way to bring Ortho and his manga collection here?! It's below noob level thinking.

"H-home...? Obv I'm not working on that rn. I'm living an isekai! Srsly it's always been a pet peev of mine when the main character wants to go home after getting isekai'd. Like geez, living the dream and you just wanna leave? No way no how, I'm staying here. Dang player, here I thought I was one of your favs~"

Yeah he's so anxious you'll kick him out, but he doesn't Think you will??? He knows if a character from one of his games showed up irl, he'd let them stay. Especially if that character had a high affection stat for them!

-----------------Ortho Shroud------------------

Ortho just manages to turn on his hover mechanics before hitting the ground, floating a few feet off the ground as he scans the room. As soon as he identifies you, he smiles brightly, waving.

"Hihi! You're the player, right? You match the profile I have for them through the screen! It's nice to meet you! \(o⁠^⁠▽⁠^⁠o)/ my brother has wanted to meet you for a long time, and so have I! Do you mind if I stay here with you while I'm in your world?"

You can swear there's sparkles emmenating off of him, this boy is so sweet! Obviously you'll let him stay since he asked to nicely! Of course you would've let him stay either way tbh. But once you say he can, he gets super excited, already running simulations of what you'll do together. Like exploring, or showing off the pop culture you like so he can show it to Idia later! Really just an all around good time.

He's thought of you like a big sibling for awhile! You're so nice to him (and Idia has a crush on you) so you're already part of the family in his mind! He just has to figure out how to get Idia here so it can be perfect! And hopefully some sort of communication system between their parents too. But first Idia. For the time being though, it's time to explore your world, and learn more about you!

-a few months later-

Things have been going perfect! He's close to getting Idia here, and he's been having a blast learning all about your world. And you! Your hobbies, and activities you all could do together. Plus he's found a bunch of multiplayer games to give Idia when he comes, so you and him can have one on one play sessions! Obviously Ortho has been having them with you this whole time haha. Your favorite game? Hes learned every fact and strategy he can. It's super fun playing with you!

There's just one thing his simulations can't do however, and that's keep you from asking about him going home. He gets that you're worried about him being away from Idia for so long, but it's really frustrating! He'll just need to convince you to stop asking about it. But what can he say? Most of his simulations aren't working. So he eventually decides to just tell you his plan outright, even though he'd hoped it could be a surprise.

"...based on my calculations, there's a 87.34 percent chance you're going to ask about me going home again, right? That's what I thought. I already told you! I'm not going home, but you don't need to worry about me or Idia! I've already figured out a way to bring him here too, so we can all be together. So please stop asking >:("

Now you've done it, you made him upset. Really now, you're lucky he likes you enough to not use the laser. (He was really close to using the laser)

Tag Game: Hopeful Little Queer Shows 🌈

I was tagged by @hughungrybear (as always thank you for tagging me ♡)

There is no rule for this game and it's more complicated this way. I guess it’s all about what you want to convey with the word “hope”. I admit this is a word that I really like. It helped me when things were difficult and it still helps me (so far) when I fear of going back to the very lowest point of my life.

I looked up the definition of “hope” and the one I found was: “a positive feeling about the future, or something that you want to happen”.

So, I guess, I’m going to write about shows that gave me this positive feeling or series that shows things I wish would happen.

1. Moonlight Chicken:

I know most people connect with the story of Li Ming and Heart and I agree that it is a beautiful story. It is heart-warming and healing. However, the story that really gave me hope was Jim and Wen's story. On one side, there is the complexity of Wen and his ex-boyfriend's relationship. When a love story stops, everyone wish they could have a proper ending, but in life, it's not that easy and I think they've done a pretty good at showing how complex it can be. On the other side, we have Jim, who can't heal from his past relationship and, on top of that, he has to deal with the cost of living and economy problems. Jim and Wen started as a one-night stand that slowly evolved in something more while healing and finding closure. I admire how Wen was persistent, yet he was always tactful. I think this series shows a hopeful part of how you can overcome the difficulties in your life, while healing and moving on.

2. Be My Favorite

This is one of my comforting shows. There is something hopeful about the fact that you can have a difficult life and yet you’ll be able to change it to something better. Of course, we can’t exactly go back in time, but I see the fantasy element as just a metaphor of Kaiwn finally deciding what he wants for himself and not let the circumstances make choices for him. I like the idea that we are in charge of our own life and we can change it, if we really want it (not saying that it’s easy, but it’s a comforting idea). I think the other hopeful part that really struck with me was all the arc around Piseang learning about his sexual orientation/identity. The way he did it, the people he met who helped him and the final acceptance are things that makes me hopeful that other people who would face the same questions as Piseang, can find the right support around them to understand who they are and what they want. These characters had flaws, but they learned from their mistakes and grew. I also liked how the series emphasizes the importance of communication. It may seem too simple, but most of the problems we face could be solved if we knew how to communicate better and also listen. This is something I wish happened (and so it’s a little hope of mine).

3. Love for Love's Sake

I wrote a full paragraph about how I connect with Myung Ha because of depression, but then I deleted everything. I'm still not ready to talk about it here. It's too raw and too personal. I connected with his desire to find an goal in his life and to be helped/saved (in a way). There are so many more things to say about the portrayal of Myung Ha and how I think it was pretty good. I think this show is very hopeful, in the way that it shows how “love” is a powerful driving force in our life. I'm not only talking about romantic love, even if that's what it is shown in the series, I'm talking about all types of “love”. I guess the idea of healing is very hopeful to me because it seems like it's a constant in all the shows that I wrote about. Love for Love's Sake makes no exception.

4. Marahuyo Project

This is a series about the challenges you can face when you're part of the queer community (used here as an umbrella term) and the bliss of accepting who you are. This is a story of acceptance, resilience, courage and love. Those are all things that I would consider hopeful. I really connected with the character King. All his struggles and all his victories are something that are relatable. I think there is again the idea that your life can be difficult (here, it's living a very conservative place) and you can bring the change that would give more acceptance (in the series it is to create the first LGBTQIA+ org in their campus). Perhaps, I'm a bit naive or too simplistic. I know the challenges can be sometimes impossible for so many reasons. I just wanted to say that when you know you're not alone, it gives you some kind of comfort and maybe hope. That's how I view this series. It gave me hope for a change.

5. See Your Love

How not to love this story and these characters? This is such a beautiful story. We have Shao Peng, a deaf character, who is resilient, persistent and kind. He doesn't let his disability defines himself, but as everybody he also has sometimes doubts and fears of how people can perceive him. I think the show highlights the vulnerability we can have, but also the strength to overcome it. It also insists on the fact that you can also have the right to be “weak”, you don't always have to be seen or perceive as “strong”. Being vulnerable isn't bad. In fact, you have to show some vulnerability to be able to connect to others. In the case of Shao Peng, he really wanted to be seen for whom he is and not his disability. However, sometimes it made him feel like his vulnerability was something wrong. Thankfully, he discovers he also had the right to be vulnerable. Zi Xiang, his partner, is also a character with multiple layers: his life may seem easier, but he also has his vulnerabilities and own strength. Together, they learn how to accept it and they are very compatible. Their romance is a tender portrayal of how we can learn from each other, the importance of communication and the help we can give to one another.

6. We Are

I think the hopeful part in this series is the portrayal of friendship especially among people who are queer. You may think it's weird, but when I was the age of the characters I thought it would be impossible to find anyone who was also queer around me. I didn't live in a small city, but I felt really lonely because this is a part of me I could talk with some of my friends, but they couldn't relate because they weren't part of the community. I wasn't openly out, so I didn't dare to join any club, organization or event that would have made me meet other queer people. So, watching a series where a group of friends is all queer is something joyful and hopeful. I could see how great it is. The series isn't groundbreaking, but the simplicity of everything made it relatable. It feels like something that could happen to anyone and that's a good part of the series. The friendship was genuine and important.

7. Not Me

You're probably wondering why I'm putting this show here. This is because of the political aspect of the series. I think when it comes to LGBTQIA+ you can't exclude the struggle and the activism that made possible, in some part of the world, to get social acceptance. Of course, there is still a long way to run. Not Me's political aspect may not resolves entirely around the social acceptance of LGBTQIA+, but it was shown through different ways and it was shown through the lens of activism. LGBTQIA+ history is a history of activism and resistance. I feel like the series tried to portray how social change can happen and how we need to keep pushing for a more just and compassionate society. You may think this is not very hopeful when I say it this way, but in the series, the character's actions and activism help things to change and that, in my opinion, is something hopeful. You can imagine that something similar could have the same impact in real life (and it had in some part of the world). This is also something I'm still learning about.

but YEAH. losin' it arc is rough. knockout is pretty awful! tana sucks so bad too (in ways that are partly flavored by racism, because of how the narrative does not treat her as someone capable of harm). you are now aware of why i have motion sickness by phoebe bridgers on my kon playlist 😭 also don't mind me linking my longer meta posts in here (<- guy incapable of shutting up about this comic at any given time), in case you wanna read them :)

this whole era of kon being exploited and abused is so fascinating to me on a narrative analysis level. and also like... so compelling in such a tragic way. like, you can make a direct contrast between kon's early days as superboy and clark's early days as superman, and how clark knew people wanted to use him, but kon was literally like two weeks old and took everyone at face value because he didn't know any better. losin' it arc in particular is like... so close to being a really good story about grooming and abuse. sometimes it fails hard but overall it really hits, to me (at times in the WORST way, like. makes me want to grab some characters and shake them like ARE YOU NOT SEEING THIS?!??!?! HE NEEDS HELP!!!!!) and i think about it So Much. the way mae (supergirl) is so victim-blamey feels like a textbook story about abuse and what not to do with someone who is being abused, and then particularly with how the arc ends with kon nearly killing himself to "redeem" himself by bringing knockout down... GOD. it compels me. its so fucking sad hes like one year old. im gnawing on wood about this

but yes ksdjhf jason todd is the second robin, mostly known for getting exploded by the joker and then coming back to life to make his daddy issues everyone else's problem. he can be fun, and utrh is genuinely a good story! its just .... his fans... . .... .. ..... . . .. sighs deeply.

I love ur wolverine and i would quite literally be your biggest fan (if im not already) if you drew matt wood as wolverine. he’s one of the biggest fancasts for him/my favorite (there’s a bunch of fancast posts on reddit if you’d like reference of what he might look like in the role) and your wolverine art reminds me so much of him !!

i spent the whole day studying Matt Wood's face because i found him to be so challenging to draw. In short: yes that is a fantastic fancast, and probably the best out of the new ones I've seen. In long: see under the cut lol

I'm gonna use this opportunity to yap about this fancast and casting for wolverine in general

So this guy is so intersting. I both really love and don't really like this fancast. He definitely has a certain look, and from the single clip I've seen he absolutely smashes playing unhinged fuckwads with anger issues. That ashtray throw? Iconic. His voice fits quite well too. He has that certain dead inside quality to it, and I really like his mild lisp

Now what I don't like about this fancast is that the actor himself does not have an ounce of anger in him! He seems to be very sweet and nerded out about movie theory in the two interviews that I've watched.

Usually, that wouldn't be a problem, but I can tell you first hand that rage leaves a mark on your face. You clench your jaw, you frown a lot, you squint, etc. The face, like the body, is not set in stone and develops in accordance with how you use it. I'm generally a very pissy person myself, and my jaw muscles are absurd because I constantly clench my teeth, and I have a v-line between my eyebrows because of my hypertrophic corrugators (frowny muscles).

This guy has very little in the sense of masseters and almost no corrugators unless the lighting is correct.

He also has very kind, very expressive eyes, which I don't feel like would be good to have on your Wolverine actor. Partially that is also why I'm not the biggest fan of Hugh being cast for the part - he's very pretty and he's very sweet, and though he's extremely competent at his job and his performance is fucking phenomenal, he is so believable and likeable -- he's just not what I personally see for this character. For one, the height, but also he's always been a bit of a twink, and, like Matt Wood, I personally see Logan as leaning towards excess weight rather than struggling to keep it on.

All that being said, frankly, I would love to see this guy as Logan. He aced his role of that unhinged rage-filled fuzzball, at least in the clip I saw. He also generally has the overall facial shape I would want to see on a Wolverine actor - huge jaw, relatively short nose (very common for hypermasculine muscular comic book characters i've noticed, and not a trait you really see in blockbuster actors), downturned eyes with slight pigmentation and mild orbital compression (though that might just be a visual effect from his cheekbones being more laterally set), very dramatic eyelashes (they fit so well), unequal facial thirds (uncommon for blockbuster actors too), and I think he has a slight underbite or a huge lower lip, either of which is just so charming? He also has slightly crooked teeth, and that is fucking amazing. His canines are so prominent it fits so well

Unfortunately, if he were to be cast, all of this would go away. They'd put the poor guy on an extreme regiment, pump him full of ozempic and PEDs, make him get corrective surgery on his teeth or braces, maybe even plastic surgery. You just don't get charismastic interesting faces in big money movies like these. Still, he'd probably be fucking awesome. Those crazy expressive eyes he has? That underbite, the heavy face? His FACIAL HAIR?? Brilliant

Now what about a casting I myself would die to see?

So you know Esad Ribic and his gay ass Logurt cover? He has this striking, dead-eyed esign for Logan? ITS LITERALLY GLENN DANZIG

Very short, very unhinged, very angry, once picked a fight with a guy three times his size, got knocked out in one punch, got up and tried to do it again. Diva shit. He also said he stopped doing drugs at age 15... because he started them at 10. Mf is WILD

Pretty sure Glenn was offered to cast, but he couldn't make it because it was the late 90s and tours to do. He also writes banging horror punk / blues / goth metal music which I can't help but associate with Wolverine now. The song "Thirteen" is so on point for the character (and yes this is the guy that wrote that song for Johnny Cash)

Hc that by Illyrian standards Azriel is considered unattractive.

Illyrians are a more practical group, they’re strong and have traditions they want to follow. They live in cold mountains in camps. Strength and endurance is a top quality, and while Azriel embodies this— He doesn’t look it.

Illyrians want someone whose body reflects their strength. Huge arms, wide wings, tall and bearing tokens of war (scars but not too many scars because that then signifies defeat). Azriel is trained for reconnaissance. His job is to be unnoticeable, being a huge hulking figure doesn’t make that easy. He’s tall and large yes, but he’s not that ideal Illyrian man. Hes just slimmer that average and plays sneaky. Not the big bold way that they believe is honorable. So by the cultures standards, he’s not attractive.

Cassian and Rhys both know this, that their sworn brother is considered “unattractive” by their peers. They never really think about it because that’s their brother, you don’t go around agreeing that your partner in crime is ugly. (Also because he could totally kick their asses and hey you don’t call the guy who is covered in conscious shadows ugly)

It becomes irrelevant as azriel ends up sticking to his job and doesn’t have to often interact with large groups of Illyrians (that gets to be Cassians job).

On the flip side, other groups of fae need that man CARNALLY. What makes him unideal in Illyrian standards makes him the perfect man in theirs. Strong beyond what they could achieve, skilled, quick witted and mysterious—he’s a 10/10.

Rhys learns about this after Azriel makes a rare appearance at a large event to let Rhys know about a new development in one of his missions, the crowd immediately hones in on this hunk of a man. Later, Rhys has to deflect multiple offers of marriage from court nobles.
