#kingdom hearts 3#kh3#nobodies#dusk#sniper#reaper#ninja#gambler#berserker#sorcerer#my gif#i'm a nobody enjoyer so of course i'm gonna make another set with them#nobodies are so reflective in this game i wonder if it they were originally intended to look this way#it would have been difficult to visually convey that in the old engine since lighting and shadows were all drawn onto the texture map#but that's not an issue anymore since there are far less lighting and graphical restrictions#anyways i'm glad we got a couple new nobodies#because their designs rule#i love how the one that represents marluxia can morph its body to look like the pod that sora slept in at castle oblivion#while the one that represents larxene has flowy scarf tails that are reminiscent of her unique hairstyle. the knife hands are cool

So i remember an ask mentioning your mortal enemy, Felis Atra and their cats, and i thought it'd be fun to draw what Felis Atra's version of your italian dogs would be.
I think they would be called Butter Knife and Flamengo! Butter Knife is not his real name, it's an nickname given by his peers because of how harmless he is. I choose Flamengo because that's the name of Vasco's rival football team here in Brazil, so i thought that was the perfect name :)
Cat Machete was slightly inspired by the Oriental Shorthair cat because of their long noses and thin head shape.
Cat Vasco was inspired by the Scottish Fold cat, because FLOPPY EARS. I gave Flamengo longer ears and orange fur to make him more like his look-alike.
The last doodle is a reference to this ask (https://canisalbus.tumblr.com/post/728923918314946560/me-i-am-machete-ear-fan-number-1-those-ears) and contains the tumblr ask stand-in dog, whose cat version was inspired by the American Curl cat! They have round ears that are slightly floppy outwards.
Final notes: I know cardinal clothes don't come in vibrant blue, but i was ADAMANT on switching Machete's and Vasco's clothing color patterns. I would draw the rest of Butter Knife's and Flamengo's clothes, but i suck at designing cool outfits.
Speaking of outfits, for Machete's iconic void outfit, i figured it would be fun to make it more baggy for Butter Knife, in contrast to Machete's, that looks very tight-fitted. I think it's cute, it kinda looks like a sweater. Also i can't imagine a Machete doppelganger without high heels boots, so those HAD to stay.
Oh, and just to be clear, i'm not like, claiming ownership of these guys or anything. I just thought it would be a fun exercise. Hope you like them!! I love your art and your characters.

#imagine if Vaschete but CATS and REVERSED -> Butter knife ;_; and Flamengo <3#this ask is from last year and I'm sorry I've allowed it sit in my inbox for so long ´m`#but I've been thinking about it intermittedly#the context was that someone said that somewhere out there existed my mortal enemy (felis atra = black/dark cat)#and they had frenzied cat ocs instead of melancholic dogs#first of all they both look so darling I'm getting radiation poisoning just from looking at them aaaaaa#and the fact you put so much thought and effort into this concept is making me go absolutely rabid#extremely strange seeing Machete with big pupils and Vasco with tiny pinpoints#Butter knife purring like a fluffy jackhammer is instant serotonin I love him#and yes if you turned Machete to a cat he'd probably be something resembling an oriental shorthair#especially one of those really exaggerated ones with giant bat ears and roman nose#and I keep visualizing Vasco as a scottish fold as well but it's kind of giving me sad bad feels personally#I can't look past their painful and debilitating health issues#the same mutation that causes the floppy ears also destroys the cartilage in their joints#it's such a shame because they're a terribly cute and charming breed#and in this case they really do have those similar rounded friendly shapes that Vasco does#if I ever draw them as cats myself I'll probably have to think of some other breed for him even though it would be such a perfect fit#also I think it's funny how you can swap everything else but Machete's heels have to stay :'> don't separate the crinkle and his boots#thank you so much! this was such a cool ask to receive I love how you designed their cat forms#gift art#dingergum#Machete#Vasco#own characters#Vaschete scenarios

I can't believe they utilised Asterix's helmet wings to show his emotions more than they did with Legoshi's ears wth
This was the most creative they got with his ears I believe, otherwise they just stayed in the same standard upright position
#you have a character that is literally a wolf. use his ears and tail please#All beastars characters suffer from this not just Legoshi but since he's the main character it's more obvious. Louis too.#they used their animal characters so rarely it's insane. don't get me started on his tail.#how did asterix beat legoshi with his helmet on this. how. it's so weird#Underutilisation of literal furry characteristics is so infuriating to me. Gog au niigo for tonights doodle
#I am still deeply stuck in the huh? hwah? stage but I think I at least found a presentation I'm happy with#so ig that's the last gog au post from this blog (I still will reblog upcomming art and tagg them adequately so there is no real loss lmao)#now here comes the usual “man idk” speech#species are still more or less randomly picked. I did settle on only using the owls mentioned in the books (lest I study all 268 owls)#I really like making Mafuyu a sooty owl (cuz the design slaps(objective truth)) Ena as a burrowing owl would be fun#and Mizuki is a short eared owl. Mainly becausen those are the “the eyliner owls” for me...also I like short eared owls#Kanade is a borreal owl because they are noted to have a beautiful song (unless the ger edition made that up (idk this is the idk speech))#for Kanade I thought it would be nice to make her a normal colored owl that turned white due to stress. #just met that faggy detective back at the dump again after saving the doggie#i went more in depth on discord but everything in this game feels Good to play. from visuals to gameplay mechanics to sound design#the animations are delightfully over the top. the writing is fun#only issue i have is i wish there was an ingame way to speed up the real time scenes because that gets a little tedious after a while#if you already know you don't need to do much for A While#but I'm playing on emulator either way so HAHA get zooming idiot

Water water. but whatever work#going into the canto was just. wow thats a mirror to something. wow thats a mirror to something. wow thats a mirror to that. wow thats a mi#there was going to be more of a focus of mirroring inside the water surface as well but it didnt come out enough so.. oops#feels like the imagery is a bit obvious but ill put it here anyways. if i remember to#morse code in the back for sos. wanted to go ahead and include it since the battle theme in the dungeon for skin prophet had jt for the#second track for it and it stuck with me a lot. obligatory heart mentioned. i wanted to add more pallid like aspects into it but it#felt visually distracting. i guess i couldve put it at lower opacity but it still felt far too striking and taking away from the focal point#of ishmaels face. still wanted to put it on the rope though. talking abt the rope obligatory rope mention as well#strangling binding. compass mentioned but also in general the obsession. wanted to have the hands be bloodied like how she talked abt#the injuries she aquired when trying to go ahead and hold on for her life. holding onto that. holding onto the obsession as well then. yk#the harpoons were suppose to be different actually. more akin to a sort of striking at the heart then the more passive looking just circling#but i was having a small skill issue with drawing them. so i just grabbed the in game image during her ego and plopped it down#still wanted to have the harpoon be a point of dragging attention and literally pointing to the heart and ishmael though#the head is supposed to be at an angle but it feels lost bc of the way i handled the lighting...#the lighting doesnt have a clear source which was the trade off of not having it unintentionally mirror the cg of her subsequent rescue#since it was supposed to be the focus to that rage and obsession she has. not necessary that realization or the sort she aquires yet#i forgot to blend ish in the hair ina. section. dont. look too hard.

Hey everyone! this is where the zebra is currently with the design.
It has knee braces!! I will most probably be drawing the zebra usually with them on, but it’s no requirement, for example if anyone else wants to draw the zebra :-]. I always like to make sure an animal design has official colors underneath any clothing and accessory anyway. I think this will be final! thank you everyone for your feedback!
As a reminder, aside from why the zebra was requested for this flag, this is also just a zebra with the disability pride flag on it. It’s just a deisgn to fit the flag, with input from other disabled people in our community. It doesn’t mean other animals can’t have designs with these colors, too! I don’t mean this design to be the only mascot for all disabled people. It’s just a silly series i do of pride animals, and at the time, during disability pride month, I wanted to see what everyone wanted me to start off with for this flag!

Okay Alexander Skarsgård plays Murderbot sufficiently autistic coded for me
#I was worried#and I still have my issues with the casting#but other people have articulated that better than me#but generally I’m happy#that scene with Arada was so masking#I loved it#and it’s so awkward but it’s not giving me too much second hand embarrassment#a little bit#but I think seeing it is more visceral to me than reading it#very rarely did I cringe from second hand embarrassment in the books#but that’s fully from murderbots pov so it’s less visceral#I’m interested in how they’re playing with the perspective because going from a first person book to a visual medium is pretty difficult#like that’s one of the things the hunger games movies did best#they took advantage of the medium to give you more about the world#and it made a different experience but that was a good thing#and we still have its internal monologue so that’s good#we’ll see how that works tbh but I have hope#AHHHH#it’s real I can’t believe it#mbtv#murderbot tv show#murderbot tv
